sensory ask! ALL OF THEM
Holy crap, so sorry....this took forever to reply. XD
Sight:
1. Favourite colours: Black, hunter green, crimson, eggplant purple, sapphire and gold.
2. Least favourite colours: Beige, most pastels, obnoxiously bright colours like chartreuse or neon pink.
3. I very much wear glasses and can’t legally drive without them. XD
4. Nope, I am thankfully not colourblind!
5. I am seeing the video for “Blood + Love” from Meinhard right now!
Sound:
6. Favourite band(s): Of all time, Echo and the Bunnymen. Right now, Meinhard.
7. Top five songs: Oh good lord. Um....Ocean Rain and the Killing Moon (Echo and the Bunnymen) as an all-time thing, Beyond Wonderland and BPHMT (Meinhard) as current, and uhh.... “Eki Attar (Good Horses) from the late great Tuvan throatsinging master, Kongar-ol Ondar. Cos good memories!
8. Favorite instrumental track: Lune Deeps from Poltergeist, Eastern Bells from Will Sergeant or Space Van from Glide.
9. Favorite nonmusical sound is probably, um....does Ian McCulloch’s speaking voice count?
10. What I am hearing right now: “Nimmerwo” from Meinhard.
Smell:
11. I’m about 50/50 to being sensitive to smell, just depends on what it is.
12. Favourite scent: Normal - Woodsmoke in the fall. Weird - Sulfur.
13. I LOVE the smell of blown-out candles. SO. MUCH.
14. My shampoo smells like typical cheap Suave, idk?
15. I love to wear the perfumes from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab!!!
Taste:
16. Favourite fruit is strawberries even though they’re not technically a fruit in the normal sense. :p
17. Favourite non-alcoholic drink: Rosewater or Mountain Dew Code Red.
18. Worst thing I’ve ever tasted? Hmm....probably asparagus?
19. Do I enjoy unusual food combinations that others might find unappealing? Maybe....I like to eat jerky with potato chips or feta cheese with potato chips. Um....melted mozzarella or swiss cheese in a little bowl absolutely covered in a fuckton of black pepper. Um and I’ll let stuff like chicken nuggets or smooshed-up cheese cubes practically liquefy in worcestershire sauce before I eat it with a fork. I’m gross! XD CHEESE!
20. I don’t really chew gum all that much cos I prefer mints.
Touch:
21. I ALWAYS cut/rip out the tags in clothes and praise whoever invented tagless clothes.
22. I definitely have textures that bother me. Stiff felt like those old colour-by-numbers posters and unfinished pottery.
23. I have a remarkably high pain tolerance for everything but period cramps and even (in an autistic brainweird sense, not a sexual one) enjoy some types of pain, i.e. putting more rubbing alcohol on a raw wound after an application or poking/pushing on bruises.
24. The softest article of clothing I have is either my crushed black velvet hooded cloak or my crushed black velvet Ren Fair blouse.
25. I’m a great hugger, but can squish people too hard if I’m not careful.
Other:
26. Definitely so! I have a definitely “spidey sense” and can sometimes very hazily visualize things before they happen.
27. Leading from that last question, I’ve had many prophetic dreams throughout my life, mostly dealing with natural disasters before they happened. Not fun.
28. A few times and sorta? I dunno, I place less in most divination type things. You want a certain outcome bad enough, you’ll find way to “see” what you want in the cards/runes/pendulum, despite what they might say otherwise. I also think too many people place too much trust in divination and can be easily manipulated that way. I make my own fate and future, personally.
29. Well, my bestie and I “read” each others minds a lot, but that’s cos we’ve lived together for 7 years.
30. Well, I did hear an elk once while getting ready to drive home from a Full Moon ritual. And there have been no elk in the area for ages, so....Cernunnos saying hi, maybe?
