Someone shared this joke in a server we're in, I decided to add it to our AAC, on a whim I decided to quickly draw symbols for it. Uh. They're here if you want them!

Body's mom tried to tell us we're going to church with them tomorrow and I'm fucking furious about it. I reminded her that we're converting to Judaism and said no, we're not going to church, and she got all exasperated about it, going on about "it's Christmas! You can sit with your family!" So I asked her if she would go to Hannukah services with us, reminding her that the body's dad explicitly said they wouldn't, quote, "spin the dreidel" with us when we told them about our conversion, and she said she doesn't have an answer.

Worth noting, Hannukah is also the "they tried to convert us but we survived!" holiday. I'm so fucking mad.

From the FFA thread on characters' social media:

Marcus has two completely separate accounts, one for completely family safe sedate book and poetry opinions, like a Goodreads style reading log with very mild opinions. The other one is full of unhinged theater fandom takes and gifs of pretty twinks getting railed.

Pre-annexation Kal's is all very sedate landscapes and arty still life photos, same of his paintings in progress. Maybe also a very secret side account solely for liking other people's travel photos. Post-annexation pre- getting back with Marcus it's wall to wall thirst trap photos of himself, more ambitious works in progress, and liking cat photos. Post- back with Marcus it's cat photos and Marcus looking very cozy and domestic with some wips.

Eubelia's and Calla's are social justice issues of the day, often on the same side but with wildly different vibes. Teunis has some of that but also his own unhinged theater fandom takes and talking positively with Marcus' secret theater fandom account about fic.

Cyril's is a pinterest full of positive affirmations, cute baby outfits, embroidery patterns, and crafts he's looking forward to doing when baby is a toddler.

Okay, couple quick tagging system updates.

First, we're going to be tagging terms related to caffeine with the "theme: substances" tag, as well as "drogegenders" when applicable. This still needs to be backtagged but upcoming terms have begun to be tagged like this.

Second, we updated all the tags from the first round of tag standardization polls. The second round of polls may take a bit though.

Third, we changed "theme: cowboys" to "theme: cowpokes". Cowpoke is a gender neutral version of cowboy/cowgirl, and we changed the tag to this to be more inclusive.

Fourth, "gender sonances" has been changed to simply "sonances", to account for things like species euphoria, age dysphoria, etc. As a reminder, the term for euphoria, dysphoria, and the like, is sonances.

Weaver is still running away from me because of the antiseptic. He's been cuddly with everyone but me since he got the cone on, so mum's partner (the cats' owner) is thinking he's gonna get a collar to see if the cuddliness sticks.

Thanks! Here's a symbol for paranoia, and then a green one that's self-indulgent. I hope these work, they're based on our own experiences of paranoia.

A year ago today, we got high and a monstrous personification of our subconscious managed to get our host, who had been frontstuck for over four years straight, out of front. There's a lot more background to it than that, but the summary is that this was a huge fucking deal. For the past year, we've actually been able to switch out main front, something we don't think we'd ever been able to do.

Shoutout to Idiosyncrasy, said monstrous personification of our subconscious, for doing all that. I'm packing a bowl for it and then I'm gonna call it to front.
