I've been waiting for this, I was worried since I never saw any post about why you closed the ask box

I've been dying to ask about Komodo and Dragon, I need more headcanons for them in general, plus headcanons for a poly relationship between them and perhaps a reptile beastkin character

You do some of the best headcanons :D

I actually closed my ask box cause I was getting really overwhelmed with answering questions. I love yall it's just I have other stuff going on in my life too lol

-They really like Adam Sandler movies and watch them together when nothing else is on

-Before ditching college, Jace was studying zoology and Mike was studying paletonology

-If they hadn't discovered the cult, they'd probably still be in college

-Kind of joksters who don't know when to quit. Pain is funny to them and they stick together since not many people appreciate their humor

-Huge dark humor guys

-They always felt a bit misunderstood. They really liked the cult since they felt so accepted and valued

-Mike has a Jacob's ladder piercing

-Their favorite horror movie is Hellraiser

-Theyre actually quite smart, but they enjoy having fun. Doesn't mean they don't use their brain now and then tho!

-They both share a pet iguana named Pinhead

POLY RELATIONSHIPS HCS!!!!

-Honestly they're use to poly relationships. They're quite a couple in the cult

-Some of the best sex partners ever ngl, they're experienced in giving more than one person attention

-They'd be baffled by a beastkin, but they're chill enough they don't really care

-Jace is gonna be poking at your tail tho, he has animal knowledge and loves reptiles!

-Mike is definitely showing off his split tongue and joking about how he's just like you

-Jace takes up most of the room on the bed, so you either gotta lay on him or lay around him

-One downside, you either gotta be apart of the cult or they're gonna be indoctrinating you. No cult likes outsiders

Derek&Komodo cosplay

My biggest hc is TPOF exists in a world that's been devastated by nuclear war. Let me explain.

Playing TPOF, there were several inconsistencies that didn't make sense until they were put into the above context. First up, we have Derek's route in the desert. I can understand the son of a billionaire taking an extended vacay to a desert. Hell, it even makes sense for a corrupt cop or someone who's high up on the police hierarchy like Jack/Dean to be able to do this. But Komodo and Dragon? Two dudes who are basically warehouse workers somehow scraping together enough money/PTO for a human hunting sesh in the desert?

All the characters are Canadian, and they presumably live in Canada like Gato. In Canada, there are numerous desert-like regions, but none of them get as hot as what we see in TPOF (the closest one would be the Osoyoos Desert that has an average temperature of 17C/62F, and look at it on Google. It looks nothing like what we see in the game). From there, the closest true desert ecosystem would be the Great Basin Desert in the Western US. But again, this seems like quite a distance to transport supplies, vehicles, and well, people (not to mention needing to cross national boundaries and checkpoints without raising suspicion!). This sort of trip would be prohibitively expensive, the kind of thing Komodo, Dragon, and likely Machete wouldn't be able to afford. And with how much the Goffards probably hate people with less money than them, it's unlikely they would be invited along for the hunting trip.

All of these things would be feasible if it weren't for Komodo and Dragon. Even more confusingly, they manage to summon Demon Strade in the middle of some random desert that he has no connection to and Komodo and Dragon would have no knowledge of. If they had heard of Strade, it would presumably make more sense to summon him near where he died... unless... that's exactly what they did.

A nuclear strike that happened near Strade's house could possibly change the ecosystem and would explain its proximity to Derek and the rest. It would mean they would have a much easier time procuring victims, and if Jack/Dean was a cop who was well known in the area, it would make sense that he would be able to redirect missing persons cases and investigations elsewhere.

These are just some ramblings I have/things I've noticed paying TPOF. I actually am able to tie the nuclear theory to every other route in the game!

Komodo would hardly have parents at all. Or at least Komodo would always distance himself from them. I just have no idea that Komodo would have a father.Either he didn't have it, or he was born to lesbian mothers.

With the Dragon it's a little different. In a complete family, but the mother and parents themselves were drunkards.At least I think so.

Machete's parents died when he was little, so he was raised by his sister alone.

Dean's parents.

The father is a big shot in the police, meaning he climbed the career ladder together with his wife.As a result, Dean grew up on his own.His father is a colonel.The mother occupied a place in the personnel department; it was convenient for her to work there.

Now he is 74, his wife died when he was 68. She got into an accident on the way to work.

I believe that Jack developed dementia because of drugs, he ruined his whole life.My father was the only one who took out his surname..💅🏼
