I’m absolutely convinced that komi and tadano are the school power couple. and not just bc komi is pretty and revered.

tadano already has his fair share of simps (especially when he cross dresses lmao) so I image them walking around school getting stared at like “wow they’re so cute… do I want to date komi/tadano or be tadano/komi?”

there’s one scene in the manga where komi catches someone and then tadano catches both of them, and the person gets flustered, and I imagine that’s their general vibe.

Plot

Socially anxious high school student Shoko Komi’s greatest dream is to make some friends, but everyone at school mistakes her crippling social anxiety for cool reserve. Luckily she meets Tadano, a timid wallflower who decides to step out of his comfort zone in order to help her achieve her goal of making 100 friends.

Now that Komi and Tadano are an official couple, Komi’s dad wants another chance to bond with his daughter’s boyfriend, this time on a sauna date! It’s just as awkward as it sounds, but Tadano manages to make things even more cringe when heat-induced delirium prompts him to ask Komi’s dad the worst question in the history of questions—how do you kiss a girl?

The secondhand embarrassment! I had to shut the book a few times to recover, haha. In all seriousness, I love that Komi's parents are making a genuine effort to bond with Tadano. It's also hilarious that the entire family (or rather, Komi and her parents; I'm unsure of Shosuke) loves Tadano and fights over who gets to hang out with him. They're not even married and Tadano is killing it! He has a great relationship with his in-laws.

Can Komi and Tadano just kiss already?! I'm dying over here!
