[wow it's been a while life is a whole deal but anyway that's not important, what is important is that I'm back on my warcraft posting anduin simping bullshit and I'm Rotting something awful

the war within is giving me major muse for both canon characters like my sweet soggy pathetic pookie anduin wrynn, koltira deathweaver, and mathias shaw, but also perhaps even some of my champion ocs :3 (and also just yapping about lore n shit in general because literally none of my friends give a damn about warcraft and I'm sad)

Doing western plaguelands quests on a death knight is hilarious:

Koltira and Thassarian, your two coworkers that you’ve known for years, act like they’ve never seen you before

You get to run around with a val’kyr killing farmers and turning them into forsaken in two separate quests which is probably very reminiscent of what the Lich King had you do in the DK starter zone

Sylvanas insults you and the rest of the death knights and then turns around not a minute later to tell you you’re an asset to the forsaken and the horde

You gotta stand there with the surprised pikachu face as your old coworker gets dragged away in chains to be tortured for the horrible act of *checks notes* having friends

Sylvanas acting like you wouldn’t immediately run back to Acherus and tell everyone that she is torturing your old coworker

Like I know that they probably didn’t intend for death knight players to do these quests but omg does it become a comedy

Sad Ebon Blade Headcanon

Koltira Deathweaver was the Scourge's stitchmaster. He was the elegant tailor with experience stitching flesh from being a Farstrider (giving stiches) and enough care in his work to do it well. He loathed the outcome of the work. He hated having to create monsters just like those that killed his brother.

And years later, in the Shadowlands, as Koltira is looking after Darion (Tira sees Darion as a replacement for Faltora, Darion sees Koltira as a replacement for Renault, because let's make this worse.), the House of Constructs makes their attempt at recruiting him.
