            So much for a map; not only was it hard to read; it was practically             useless considering it was torn. But it was an old map, not as if             the man had expected better. Preparing himself for the worse if any more Risen dared to come, he kept his killing edge by his side. Crouching down slightly to get a better view of Lucina, he let out a sigh. Frustrated at himself for not being able to protect her from those damn Risen, he dug his fingers into the ground, despite the fact that there were a bunch of blisters, cuts, and his hand was worn from the time spent swinging his sword.

     Even when she was all bloody and her clothes ran ragged from the battle, he still thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. “Don’t be stupid, there’s no way I’m going to leave you here. You’re far too important… Do you think we can save the world without you? You’re the only one who can wield falchion, Lucina…” Inigo muttered, his voice hoarse from his prior screaming and the lack of oxygen in his lungs. “We can do this together… just trust me.” Lifting his left hand out of the earth, he swatted any freestanding dirt before offering it to her.

       “Come on. If you’re not going to take my hand, I’ll carry you.”

                  there will always be people opposed to their leaders. that was something that she couldn’t deny && for someone as old as her to have said it, it was far more than true -- but that didn’t mean the sudden defensive side of her wouldn’t show && a flash of irritation over at the rather big man sitting at the bar. she was big! she could’ve taken him on yet the princess was with her -- yikes, no way the manakete was going to get out of that --
