Canon/Headcanon Voice Cast
//So I have a whole page on the blog talking about the headcanon voice actors, but I'm making a post here so people can access it easier, especially since I'm starting to realize that Tumblr has, for some reason, made editing the pages themselves a lot more complicated.

DRA fancasting
I was heavily inspired by @creepercraftguy's headcanons on voices for the Danganronpa Another cast so I caved and did my own as well. I have decided to use VAs that weren't in any of the official Danganronpa games and anime while also considering the other roles the voice actors are known for as well as their overall energy.
That being said, this was made in all good fun if it and its' sequel (which I'll post tomorrow hopefully) were official games. I hope you enjoy the picks as I did.
Yuki Maeda - Zach Aguilar
Notable Roles:
- Tanjiro Kamado (Kimetsu no Yaiba)
- Koichi Hirose (JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable)
- Genos (One-Punch Man)
*Also for a note, Utsuro himself will share the same VA as Yuki, though the voice would have some distinction.

2022.09.29 Endless SHOCK @ Hakataza Theater in Fukuoka
Posting on my Tumblr so I can delete the thread on my Twitter and it looks better here than a series of 10+ tweets haha. I'm sad I didn't hit for SHOCK 2023 so time to relive seeing it last year. I got lucky and decided to just YOLO by applying for the self guided tour visa before borders opened back up officially like two weeks later lmao. I HAD TO GO since I'm a KinKi and Kisumai fan!
Koichi Zachou is really an oujisama 😍 Loved red hair Mitsu as rival. Wish I could have seen more shows because there's so much happening in all the scenes. Glad I got close seats in the 2nd floor especially to see Koichi's flying scenes in the second act 😭
9/29 13:00 show
I was so focused on Koichi at the beginning and I'm so used to Kochan's stage voice so when Mitsu first spoke I was like who omg it's HIROMITSU
I was very impressed with Mitsu's stage acting and singing just like many fans reported! His singing is very clear & smooth 💯
Matsuzaki & HIROMITSU are too cute as buddies. Zaki telling Mitsu to put his arms around Rika at the rooftop🙈 A few scenes I just laughed at their buddy bro dynamic.
Mitsu in the ❤️ patterned suit is cute 🥰 when he comes in with the bouquet & dances with Rika during It's a Wonderful Day. Man got guts to wear that heart patterned suit. Haha he's so charai just like how he is as idol... watch Kisumai Busaiku! 🤣
I think HIROMITSU is the happy go lucky charai rival that is more on KOICHI's level. He doesn't seem to get angry and is more sly and calculated.
I laughed at the Everybody Go lines 😂 I love the little references/adlibs. For my show since it was the day of Travis Japan's "world debut" announcement. After the rooftop scene they are crossing the stage~
Matsuzaki: There's a group making a world debut!
Mitsu on roller skates: Ehh Tora Tora..! 🐯🐯
Overall HIROMITSU gets along with everyone and have fun in the Company.
The solo for the rival, MOVE ON is such a good fitting song. I felt Shori had the cool youngster brash charisma in the performance. So it's nice to see how Mitsu's version has a different aura that was his own... he totally owned the stage. Dancing & charisma. 💯💯
I need to review the previous rivals and watch more closely but I can definitely see how others say Mitsu's version is different. I felt his version was more calm, diligent, and mature and more of KOICHI's equal. He didn't crumble emotionally and descend into darkness/violence or acted brashly right away...
It was a slowburn but when he finds out, KOICHI is really dead... After the Shakespearean act, HIROMITSU is lying on the floor distraught. The piano melody for Don't Look Back 〜戻れない日々 plays (love this song composed by Koichi! could we get a new OST version with Shori and Mitsu as vocals *biased*). This part always gets me with the rival, KOICHI, and the owner singing. here is where I first started to get sobby/cry a bit. I also cried at the end of Yori no Umi, then and there's HIROMITSU and the cast... The flashbacks of memories with KOICHI is shown...
Shimada Kaho who Koichi worked with in Knights' Tale played the Owner for the first time. She's a lovely lady and has such a elegant presence 😍 she has a softer speaking voice than Maeda Bibari-san but a powerful beautiful singing voice.
As always the second act is just amazing with the Japanese dance and flying scenes.
And the end is just 😭😭😭
Doesn't HIROMITSU look so intense!
Even knowing the general story with the acts and various performances... I understand why people still want to see it every year even tho the general story is the same but how the script changes with the different rival and how it evolves... There's a different atmosphere with each new rival/cast. For me, seeing the cast ensemble makes it interesting to watch with the chairman leading. I really hope to see Endless SHOCK again one day.

Towa Corp’s CEO was Monaca though, and she was Junko’s protege.
Well yes, that was apart of why; they painted us as the villainous group that cause the tragedy before we were offical formed; in fact those on the hit list and even residents didn't trust us because we couldn't save Class 78-A in time and arrest Junko Enoshima along with her sister too.
Wait so they use the fact that you guys didn't make it in time?
Yep, the thing is that we had the password and key to get in there but there was a problem...
Juu Kinjo being the Police Commissioner and the Ultimates that sided with Junko, that bitch made it so we couldn't get in until her death!
Indeed, there was a lot of bloodshed and death, they didn't want to move but we had to get in. It was hell...
In fact, it all started after we brought a letter to the headmaster as well I believe about re-opening the school, at the time we had no idea that Junko was in charge of it all, we thought she was innocent and the police were investigating the location if the Reserve Course members that killed the main course was still alive.
But even then, you all didn't know so you can't blame yourself for that.
But if your saying that you all didn't know that Junko was the leader of Ultimate Despairs, how did you find out?
Well I suppose your boss was apart of why we discover this if asking.
Wait so... Mr. Kinjo was why you were able to find out Junko Enoshima was the leader of the Ultimate Despairs?
Indeed and he inform us quite a bit after we save him and his classmates as well but when that happen, well... the Ultimate Despairs started to fight back...
...
...
...
Date: July 12th, 2013
*in the infirmary, Kazuo along with Kyosuke, Juzo, Emiko and Seiko were with Class 79 survivor*
I see... so what your saying that you all had faked your deaths, Akane Taira and Yuki Maeda or Utsuro masquerading as him went into the school to join your class, set up this proto-killing game and Junko Enoshima might be the sole reason plus there could be agents outside the school, is that correct?
Indeed, as say - Yamato Kisaragi saw the tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy for himself and decided to hide the class because he felt we were in danger staying at the school.
Not just that but my daddy and Tsurugi's dad were helping the Ultimate Despairs too and funding our killing game, I just... I find it hard to imagine my daddy doing anything like this at all.
Indeed and what I'm more angry by is how none of you realize how dangerous Junko Enoshima was or why you didn't inspect her sooner?
Including Akane Taira and Utsuro as well, why didn't any of you look into this?! Aren't you all teachers and staff, why don't you do your damn job in regards to students that are clearly dangerous and should be arrested! Do any of you care for the students at all?!
ugggh...
We-Well, the thing is...We just...
Look,... whatever blame you have on the staff, don't - we didn't realize all this was happening...
First off, Junko Enoshima's enrollment was not due to the headmaster or Koichi Kizakura but instead was recommended by the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee? They brought her in...?
Was that the same for Akane Taira and Yuki Maeda too?
Well Yuki Maeda was an odd case since chosen by luck if anything, so that part would most be Headmaster Jin Kirigiri then the Steering Committee.
Indeed, as for Akane Taira and Junko Enoshima, here are their profiles...
*Kyosuke presented 2 folders to the trio*
---------------------------------------------------------------------
'Notes: Admission by recommendation by the Board of Directors is a special case, but the board guarantees their talent. As such, admission to the 78th class is approved. Principal Jin Kirigiri and Scout Koichi Kizakura must not involve themselves in this decision. As the principal oversees students after admission, the board bears no responsibility.'
'Notes: Admission by recommendation by the Board of Directors is a special case, but the board guarantees their talent. As such, admission to the 79th class is approved. Principal Jin Kirigiri and Scout Koichi Kizakura must not involve themselves in this decision. As the principal oversees students after admission, the board bears no responsibility.'
---------------------------------------------------------------------
No way, so... the reason these 2 were brought in is because of the Steering Committee and after being enroll, all fault falls on the headmaster?
Holy moly, that is some forgery if I ever seen it! Tsurugi, do you see this nonsense here?!
...It all tracks, this makes way too much sense looking at all this.

NEW JOBS!
Democracy may have died in Japan, but that does not mean people cannot try new job scopes! Here are the new appointments of the Diet:
Fumimaro Konoe: Prime Minister
Hachirō Arita: Minister of Army
Koichi Kido: Minister of Home Affairs, Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal of Japan
Seishirō Itagaki: Minister of Navy
Hiranuma Kiichiro – Minister of Justice
Mitsumasa Yonai: Minister for Education
Yonezo Maeda: Minister of Railways, member of the Rikken Seiyukai
Yoshiaki Hatta: Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of Colonial Affairs
Yukio Sakurauchi: Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Member of the House of Representatives
Sadao Araki, Minister for Finance
Taito Sakao (or Saito Taiko? I forgor)– Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The decision to put Itagaki, a veteran army officer as the Minister of Navy has left many officers confused, with one stating, “How can this army guy lead us effectively? Does he even know how to swim?”. This does not bode well as the Navy sets off for a climatic showdown at Pearl Harbour.

Maeda Kentaro - Interview with Terakoya Plus by Ameba
(Since I’m too sick to translate the whole interview, I’m gonna make a brief from it).
Just rough translation so forgive me for any mistakes.
Well, first things first, some info about the movie:
- The director of the movie is Mr. Koichi Sakamoto, who’s famous for action scenes, so there’s gonna be a bunch of pre-henshin actions.
- FYI: The antagonist of the movie is played by Mr. Kane Kosugi, a martial artist and actor (He also played NinjaBlack in Kakuranger). I’m looking forward to seeing the fighting scenes between him and Kentaro.
Now, stuffs from the interview:
- Kamen Rider Revice is Maeda Kentaro’s first full-ledged film, so he didn’t expect to have many people at the filming location.
- As you might know, he won the national championship in kata team competition. Since his name has the word “fist” (拳), many people misunderstood that his house is a dojo. But in fact, when he’s in kindergarten, his friend started practicing karate so he wanted to do so.
- When he’s in primary school, he didn’t like karate that much. He took a liking to it when he was in junior high school and aimed to be the best in Japan.
That’s why on holidays, he would get up around 5:00 in the morning, go for a run, and practice all day until night. During long holidays, he would go to training camps. The only time he had a day off was about a week before the competition.
So when he was in high school, that habit made him sick before the competition and he didn’t have good results, he was so disappointed with himself.
At that time, he got a keychain from a friend in the dojo, saying "Continuation is power”. That helps him realized how important and valuable everything he had been doing was. And his passion for karate grew even stronger.
Even though he didn’t get as good results as he did when he’s in junior high, he ate lunch during the short third period break and used the long lunch break time to practice with his friends, and just focused on karate.
In his dojo, there’s a boy who competed in international competitions and Kentaro was really desperate to catch up with him. But he was aware that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't close the distance between them...
But he realized his lack of athleticism in karate had enabled him to do other sports, that’s when he wanted to try something else.
- His childhood dream is to be a Kamen Rider and an actor, so when he graduated from high school, he took part in the Junon Boys Competition, but he didn’t get a good result.
- He wondered that he wasn’t cut out for acting, so he went to a private university thinking that he would experience many things and maybe try again.
- He took part in (it’s more like being forced to join lol) the competitive dance club since he wanted to do something that he could be serious about and he took a liking to ballroom dancing.
- When Corona happened, he spent a whole year thinking about his life and his desire to be an actor. Then he quitted the club and began attending the acting course at his current agency, LDH's EXPG STUDIO, as a training candidate.
- He thought he had failed the last round of the Kamen Rider audition, so he’s surprised to know that he would play the leading role.
- The compliments Kentaro received more frequently were “Your posture is good” and “You are so polite” (lmao). (He’s even told that he’s too nice that he couldn’t give birth to a devil lol).

Blind Old Man - Masaharu Maeda
Chucky Choo - Yamadera Koichi
What do you think?
__________
This is a pretty solid fan voicecast!
Akemi Okamura especially would pull off a perfect Omi, I think. Could pull off that childish, high-pitched, almost mascot-y voice, and she does playfulness/cheekiness well! Something like Nami would suit him. That's definitely my favorite pick of the list! Kappei Yamaguchi works well for Rai too, a Ranma-like voice would fit him perfectly.
Mamoru Miyano... I can see where you're coming from there, and he's a solid pick for Chase's general vibe for sure, but I'd personally for with Miyu Irino. Chase's voice isn't quite so deep and dark. There's something of a heroic sort of feel to it, which really works well as for him as a warrior who defected from evil.
Miyuki Sawashiro as Kimiko is a surprising choice, but I think it'd be interesting to hear Kimiko in her voice! Same for Tōru Furuya, not who I would have assumed someone would pick for Clay, but I could see it working. I'd go for Masashi Ebara for Clay?
I dunno though, I'm not the most knowledgeable person in the world about seiyuus. The rest of the list checks out pretty passably from my perspective!
