Inu-Mothership Spotlight Saturday: KogKag!

Hello everyone! The mods at @inu-mothership are back with a new list of fic recs for you! For today’s list, our members elected to compile recommendations that feature our favorite wolf demon and miko: Koga and Kagome!

There are so many wonderful Madison stories to choose from, but this one stands out for its portrayals of Kōga and Kagome. He’s brash and sexy (like, holy hell, YES), she’s sassy, they’re both powerful, AND they’re super into each other. This story is all kinds of exciting.

First Kiss -- @thehattertheory (E, complete)

Are you looking for a camming story that’s also incredible BDSM? You’ve come to the right place. Kōga and Kagome are cam stars who people think should get together, and when they do...sparks fly. This is a story not to miss. 

Five Steps to Romance -- @cryysiswritesthings (G, complete)

Meet-cute in a medical center, with an injured Kōga flirting with his nurse, Kagome. Lots of fun banter and a pining Kōga make for a fluffy one-shot.

Full Moon Cackles -- @neutronstarchild (E; complete)

Kōga is a werewolf. Kagome is a witch. They’ve been dating, and each has been keeping the secret from the other. Until the truth comes out, and then, all the things come out 😉 A fun, funny, and sexy two-partner from one of our favorite multi-ship writers!

Hot and Bothered -- @commandercrouton (E; complete)

A phenomenal ABO story where Kagome is going through heat, and she needs an alpha to help her out. Cue the sexiest wolf demon alpha she can think of; it also has one of Fawnie’s favorite lines ever in a fic.

Inked -- @pointyobjects (E, complete)

Kagome is a tattoo artist, and Kōga owns the flower shop across the street. She’s totally not just going there for inspiration for her art, and he’s totally not just giving her flowers that are leftovers. Oh my goodness, this story is absolutely adorable.

The Ookami and the Miko (series) -- Monophobian/ @nikkxb (E for both stories; Gambling Interference is complete; Defensive Interference is in progress)

It was hard to choose just one story by Monophobian, so you are getting a series! Sango convinces Kagome to wear a cute bikini, Kōga goes gaga, and then cue lots of sexy banter and romance. 

Quod Si Amor Vincit Omnia -- LyraInTheDark (NR, in progress)

A retelling where Ginta, Hakkaku, and Kōga find an injured Kagome, and pieces of the Shikon jewel, and Kōga cannot help but be drawn to this mysterious, beautiful woman who seems out of time. 

Reborn -- Discord1 (T; complete)

Canon-divergent where after a daring rescue, Kōga and Kagome have amnesia, and can only remember that they know each other...somehow. But when confronted with villagers who are angry about them sharing a bed when they are unmarried, Kagome tells a white lie that protects both her and Kōga. And brings them closer together.

A Whisper to the Wind -- riesling (M; complete)

When Inuyasha breaks things off with Kagome on their wedding day, she tries to do the unthinkable, only to be rescued by the man whose heart has always belonged to her, and who, deep down, she loves, with all her heart. But when Kagome falls ill, Kōga has a decision to make -- one that changes everything for them. So. Much. Angst.

Windswept -- El Reino (K; complete)

Kagome and Kōga meet again after years apart. While Kōga is ecstatic to see her, he has a secret that he hesitates to reveal. A story with some really interesting and clever twists!

Wintering with Wolves -- @wulfintheforest (E, complete)

Post-canon divergence where Kagome is forced to spend the winter with Kōga’s pack, and Kōga finally gets to make his move, and Kagome finally gets to enjoy Kōga’s attentions. Fun and spicy!

The Wolf and the Miko -- Ookamifemale001 (T; complete)

A fun Feudal AU with lots of action and adventure! When Kōga hears that there is a mysterious force protecting the tribes of the North from the Birds of Paradise, while his own Eastern tribe is being decimated. He vows to find that power, and bring it back to his own lands. He just didn’t think that it would be a feisty priestess named Kagome.

KogKag Spotlight Saturday: October 2, 2021: Friends with Financial Benefits, by @pointyobjects

Hello everyone! We here at @fuckyeahkogkag are delighted to bring you a new weekly post to enjoy: Spotlight Saturday! Each week, we’ll be showcasing a different KogKag fic (or maybe two! 😉); they will be a combination of recently updated fics, classic fics, and fics that fit a particular theme.

First up this week is @pointyobjects‘ fantastic story Friends with Financial Benefits!

Kagome needs money to stay in school, and she’s run out of options, save for one...get married. And when a very handsome ookami who maybe has feelings for her agrees to be her husband in name only, is that all it will be? (Lol, of course not.)

This fic is rated E, and features a sweet and self-sacrificing Kagome, a Kouga who is SUPER protecc (and has some secrets of his own), and two idiots who are very much in love. You don’t want to miss it!
