So I've been job hunting the past few weeks in my city for something basic and desk job like because, well, the art world is on fire right now and there's no work to be found anywhere... but good god job hunting locally has turned into such a nightmare of an ordeal I don't know where to begin. Half the places just ghost you. All of them demand you take five different quizzes and tests and assessments before proceeding. Most of them have terrible pay and I've already run into several scams. Actually getting an interview is still a brutal process of baring your whole existence in front of someone and hoping they find it suitable because you'll never hear why they didn't pick you... you'll never hear anything... you'll just wait for several weeks in silence and assume they must have filled the role and then wonder why you even bothered to wait for them. I feel so dehumanized and exhausted and drained to an empty husk.

Anyway if you want to throw a few dollars at my ko-fi page so I can maybe buy some dinner or better makeup (because god forbid we don't ask ascribe to Western beauty standards) I would be so eternally grateful

Just a reminder that I will do requests if you ask. I don't mind. I don't have a sketch option on my commissions sheet so this is the alternative. Some extra points:

You can request sketches, which arent in my current commission sheet. But you may also request things in color and the like.

Think of this as an honest store thing. I wouldn't mind if you ask for renders or colors even if theyre on the commissions sheet. (I'll exert too much effort anyway)

Same communication terms as commissions. DM me and such.

I need groceries soon and would also love to complete the goal from last month.

Doesn't matter if its one coffee, I will do it. The only caveat is that I will nitpick less. You can also send requests in asks too I don't mind.

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted much here. I'm still trapped in the eternal grind of just trying to survive.

I'm currently stuck in a really bad spot where I managed to find a housekeeping job, but the paychecks don't really kick in for a bit and I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for my food and bills for the next two weeks. I set up a new ko-fi goal for that to maybe try and scrape together enough to cover things. Yeah it's some pretty big bills and also damn food is so expensive.

Any tiny bit helps. I know we're all struggling right now though, so if you're not able to pitch in then reblogging still does wonders.
