Hii it's been long ik... im so sorry! But I actually decided to start writing after some time.

I waited too long for genshin impact new lantern rite... yet not a single lee!Ga ming?? I'm so sad

So I took the initiative to write, tho im not so good at it... hehe enjoy...

"Ga ming! Stop paying all the time!"

The wushoe dancers shrugs playfully, chuckling softly "But Paimon enjoys them a lot... I mean what sort of friend would I be if I didn't treat u guys to a regular dim sum?"

Aether groans, folding his arms as he looks at the young man with a wary expression. He casually turns to Paimon who has dozed off on the table like a white lump. His expression softens as he takes the final bite of the shrimp "You really are some thing..."

Ga ming gives a breif giggle, his tongue sticking out "Well I suppose you are giving in? Don't worry... I love to treat my friends to a regular breakfast"

Later that day, Aether and Ga ming left the restaurant... Paimon had insisted they could watch the Liyue vicinity in peace.

"Honestly you guys should visit more..." Ga ming states after observing the silence. Aether turns to him, leaning by the bridge as he smiles "We only went to fontaine for a few weeks you know"

Giving a childish whine Ga ming gestures "Still... its cool to hang out with you guys"

Paimon has gone earshot following a butterfly, and Aether gives him a pat on the arm "Well next time, let's go to Fontaine, and I will treat u to some cuisines"

The young wushoe dancer's eyes glistened like stars "deal! It will be dope to hang out with u Aether!" He adds frivolously "Also don't worry about paying... im gonna have to aid on the funds since your treating me"

Aghast, Aether gives him a playful shove "There you go being generous... stop it"

"What I mean I can't let the esteemed traveler pay for my starving needs" he winks and Aether pokes his side "Then allow me to split the bill at least"

With a giggly jolt he gently pushes Aether's hand away "Hehe but..."

Another poke as Aether smirks, "Now now, who was it that helped u with your family conflict?

Ga ming realises where Aether is going wjth this charade, he giggles more when the gentle playful prodding became precise, he squirms away "hehe you... its yoohou"

Aether Pauses for a moment, mischievous "Are you ticklish?"

Silence.

Ga ming notices Aether suddenly preparing and he stretches his hands front defensively, giggling in anticipation "H-hey uh what are you...?"

Aether grins wiggling his fingers "I'm gonna be paying the next Dim sum meal and you won't pay a single mora"

Ga ming bursts into titters the moment Aether tickled his ribs "ahh hehe hey! Haha come ohohon Aehehether"

Rolling his eyes Aether didn't stop "What did I say? No more tabs for you"

"Hahaha buhuhut"

Determined to get Ga ming, Aether playfully pressures his hips, a sensitive spot no doubt and sends cackles through him, high pitched and bubbly.

"Cute laughter you got there... I dont want to stop"

"EEK! OK OK WAHAHAIT" Ga ming shrieked as Aether pinches his hips.

"Oh? What is it?" Smirking. Aether traces patterns around his hips keeping him giggly and in anticipation.

"Ihihi uhuhu wehehell..." Ga ming squirms now in a mess of tumbling shrilled giggles. So cute.

Aether rubs his thumbs by the waist now "Ga ming~ what did u want to say?"

He bucks and then lets out "Ah ah! Hehehe uhum yohohou can tahahake the tab next time"

Satisfied, Aether backs off "OK so next dim sum will be my problem"

Flushed cheeks now finally returning to colour. He gasps "Haa... you sure are a merciless traveler... jeez the last time I was tickled to death was when my mom tried to punish me for pranking her"

"Oh so you were a rascal?"

Laughing Ga ming nudged Aether "Obviously... so, tomorrow's dim sum will be on me... byee!"

"Yeah, sure -no wait! Argh! Come here, you menace!"

Laughter spreads without haste... and soon Paimon joins forces with Aether to tackle him once more. The two playfully chase without cease. Ga ming will never meet a companion as great as the traveler, and the traveller will never encounter someone as delightful as the young dancer.

Liyue must be visited more often.

To approach ask length and my apologies… lkfhdh you created this monster and now you gotta deal with the consequences of your actions.

i wanted to keep this separate as a more focused thing as opposed to my other rambles. But as to how i think the potion stuff goes down…

Rosalie: no, unless T!Reader desperately wants her to.

T!Reader: Depending on how the interaction with father goes/any interferance, yes.

Rosalie I don’t see drinking it unless T!Reader wants her to, because I’d think she’d want to remember someone she considers her daughter, even if T!Reader doesn’t stay by her side. I’d think she would still cherish those memories and want to hold onto them, kinda like a parent looking back on memories rasing their kid when their kid is now living their own life and creating their own family. But I do think that if T!Reader does push hard enough, that she would drink the potion as to not put her child in distress in what could potentially be their final moments together.

As for T!Reader… something i’ve noticed but never really said rambling wise is that both her and lyney have that same intate urge to do anything for their family and loved ones. And right now, from T!Readers point of view, her only loved one (and family) is Rosalie. If she gets promised/convinced that Rosalie will be safe and left alone by the Fauti if she drinks the potion, I bet she would. Even if she no longer remembers her maman or the positive memories she has of the fauti, as long as Rosalie was safe I doubt she would care.

As for if she actually gets the chance to drink it or not… i’m honestly torn. On one hand, there is the chance that the trio + aether and paimon get their in time to stop her from drinking it and find another way. Which would be very cool and neat… But the potion is already the nice way out, as the hearth’s rule is with their life is the cost. 

Theres not really any nicer way to go around the hearth’s core rules, especially with the distraction t!reader is and the persistence lyney has. I’m sure Arlecchino knows that although her orders to leave t!reader alone may put lyney on a pause, it won’t last forever. I mean, the guy went straight to T!readers house with lynette’s help once their meeting with father was done. And although I haven’t done the story quest yet, I know enough to know that even with the traveler helping, they wouldn’t win unless father specifically let them. 

Plus, (and i had to go digging to find the exact words once i remembered it) i remembered something you said in one of my very first asks. Specifically art naosaki’s quote, "Reader needs to learn how to stay, and Lyney needs to learn how to let go". I can see the reader’s form of staying being finally confronting her past and taking the deal not for herself but for everyone else, while lyney’s form of letting go is letting go of the mc from before the potion. A bit more bittersweet, and again, i’m torn over it, but its just my thoughts! 

Also, I sent this at the same time as the fic since my theory influenced it a fair bit… so ye, back to the pit i go-

evil ralsei is such a boring theory to me. thats a child who has been alone for who knows how long and is actively struggling with meeting the people hes been waiting for (kris and susie, as well as the player) and they are Nothing like he expected, susie especially.

(plus, he DOES have “secrets,” inarguably, but he probably has NO IDEA other people dont know about the player and game mechanics. because to him its common sense!!)

i love deltarune i love ralsei and if ppl want to make evil ralsei content Thats Fine but there is not nearly enough evidence to evil ralsei in the two chapters we have. Because The Game Is Unfinished. Obviously. he is innocent and i will Fight for him.

first off if you ship it (anyone who reads this) im so happy for you just tag it and we'll be fine i'm not going to hunt people down or whatever anyways if you love it DONT CLICK THE READ MORE!!!!!!

ok so like. i just think their dynamic isnt as wholesome/lovely as a lot of shippers make them out to be especially on furina's side. i believe they both care for each other BUT they don't understand each other.

neuvillette wishes her well and respects her BUT until focalors explained her master plan to him he didn't fully understand the depths of her stress and trauma. remember how in 4.1 furina was nervous about meeting arlecchino by herself and at first neuvillette thought she was just being dramatic? yeah. also he respects her and knows she's more than her public dramatic persona but he also doesn't like being seen as The Same as her (him telling traveler and paimon he doesn't agree with her on everything when they didn't even mention her) and publicly he even praises nahida more than her praises her, since he usually plays the "role" of being the Actual Responsible Man vs. furina.

and while furina does respect neuvillette and tries to rely on him (as like the aforementioned arlecchino meeting) she also finds it incredibly hard to open up to him and thinks he might hold some anger towards her post-4.2 AQ. and im not just talking about furina not being able to tell neuvillette about her whole masquerade. she doesn't even tell him about arlecchino's assault, leaving him to at first assume she just didn't want to go to the meeting by herself, and then eventually coming up with his own conclusion after the meeting. and after seeing furina's whole deal i think it's safe to assume she didn't tell him because she didn't want to be seen as weak or have any doubts cast on her which is like. really fucking sad.

it's like... frustrating as both a neuvillette AND furina fan (but especially as a furina fan) to see people gloss over the complexity of their relationship and just shove them into a feel-good "archon and her loyal dragon!" dynamic when canon pretty much beats us over the head with "yeah these two work together and trust each other but they don't really KNOW each other." maybe if they had more of the actual dynamic in the ship i wouldn't dislike it so much but anyways.

there's... a lot more stuff i could complain about re: most shippers talking points (conflating focalors with furina, saying she's the only/main one who helped him understand humanity) BUT that's on them and not the canon dynamic itself lol. and also we would be here All Day.

in summary i really don't like it when complex, close relationships are just grossly oversimplified or straight up ignored for an easier time with shipping to the point where they become a common or at least noticeably significant fanon interpretation. especially since a lot of it in this ship (imo) ignores a lot of furina's feelings and her own insecurities and view of neuvillette and how she thinks he feels about her.

"Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you are worthier than I to rescue him."

There was a pause. A great silence between them stretched on as the words sunk in to her head. She needed to process them again as something brewed in her chest. It's as if time had stopped.

A snap.

"How dare you."

It was spoken like a whisper, but it could still be heard. There was incredulous belief as she spoke.

Star pupil eyes stared back at her. Slightly taken aback by her words.

"How dare you." In a flash of electro, she moved as lighting, and grabbed his neck.

A loud crack! could be heard as she slammed him into the closest wall. The force of which caused massive damage, leaving cracks behind where his body was thrown into. She kept his deathgrip on his neck, no doubt leaving bruises. Thunder was heard in the distance, reflecting her feelings.

He began choking for air as he looked at her face.

Golden eyes glowed inhumanly at him but the major notice was the unmistakable, unrelenting rage burning in them. As if they were windows to the pits of hell. They no longer looked human. Lumine no longer looked like the righteous Traveler. But something far less human. Less good.

"What gives you the right to say that to me? Bough keeper." She said the last word like a curse. "What gives your the right to judge me? You. Are. A. Blink. In our lives."

Dainsleif had never expected someone like Lumine to regard him with such a look. Or to even have this outburst. There was geo energy trapping his limbs and anemo stealing the breath from his lungs, electro energy sending dangerous sparks close to his face.

“I am his other half! His sword! His sister! The last of kin and the only one who has his safety in mind!" Somehow, she pushes him even further into the wall. Almost histerical in speaking. The pain made him claw at her hand. "He's been by my side since the day I was born. Our bond forged through centuries of traveling through worlds. We've faced wars, gods, extinction- FATE. What makes your measly 500 years of being travel buddies in anyway equal?! You couldn't even save him from the Abyss! Yet you have the audacity, the DELUSION that you could even come between us!?!"

Her companion, Paimon's shrill voice could barely be heard, as she shouted at Lumine to get a hold of herself. But to the blondes, it barely registered. Too caught up in the altercation. They didn't even notice she flew off to get help.

She turned and threw him onto the ground where he gasped air into his burning lungs. The pain on his back stung as he tried to get up but was left hacking for air.

"I understand your-"

She kicked him in the face, sending him back. "YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!"

His collar was grabbed before he could recover and he was brought face to face with those burning eyes once again. He had the faintest feeling he had crossed a line that no one in Teyvat had managed with the kind hearted Traveler.

"I have the only right. Hear me, Twilight Sword?" Said like an insult again. "I had hoped my brother was only wrong about you, blinded by emotions and circumstance to see you as an enemy. But if this is how you see things... Then I see his point."

She looked like she wanted to kill him.

Fortunately, an interruption.

"Traveler, that's enough." Tighnari, with a scared and horrified Paimon peeking over his shoulder, spoke. He sounded like he was approaching a wounded animal. "Please let him go. I dont know what's going on but you need to calm down."

At the presence of one of her friends, her grip tightened, glancing furiously at him and glaring at Dain, before slacking. Releasing his hold he fell back.

"Leave. Don't show up again."

Another twin had come to hate him.

With Dain gone Tighnari led her back to the camp, as gentle and soothing as he could. With plenty of experience to mitigate the leftover rage she felt. Paimon was uncharacteristically quiet.

"Are you okay to tell me what happened back there?" He asked, carefully, and setting down some incense pots. The scent smelled refreshing. "I've never seen you lose it like that."

She didn't want to at first. But this entire ordeal had left her mind in a mess. She never spoke about her brother’s situation openly and especially her feelings, but she felt like an explosive barrel about to explode. So she told him. What Dainsleif said, her brother’s situation, her history, her reaction.

"He doesn't get to say that." She pressed. There was less anger and more pain. "He doesn't. I was the closest thing to him. I'm the one who's going to bring him home and everything will go back."

Tighnari doesn't say anything as he listens to her. That's when Paimon inevitably speaks up.

"Traveler... you've never lost control before. You can't let what Dain says affect you so much."

Lumine turned away, staring out into the horizon.

"Why did it affect you so much?"

"What? Because he-"

"You have incredible discipline over your emotions. I've seen it during fights, as you battle gods, face atrocities, even during your mission to overthrow the Akademiya. You never had an outburst. Your principles and beliefs are almost unshakable, clearly. If what he said was so wrong, you simply would have told him so." He stared at her back, refusing to see his gaze. "Why lose it over a simple statement. Unless some part of you believes it."

Did I fail him? Should I have woken up sooner? Was I distracted by everything?

What if we both disagree in the end?

"Traveler." A comforting hand on ber shoulder. "You are worthy. You have every right to find your brother again. Whatever doubts you have, they are unfounded."

Are they?

"Tighnari's right. But what made you start thinking you couldn't save your brother..." Paimon trailed off. "Was it what Lesser Lord Kusanali said?"

"Lesser Lord..."

You're brother hails from Teyvat.

She walked away, sword appearing in a flash if light. She needed fight something.

Just a short snippet I made. I wished we saw the traveler get more personal like this. The closest thing we got was during the Sumeru quest. Sorry if this is OOC btw, still new to writing for Tighnari and Lumine. I just wanted Traveler to snap for once.

Also, I know there's a possibility that Dain wasn't talking about the abyss sibling when he said that line in the Travail trailer. But I wrote this wondering what the Traveler's reaction would be if it was. Bc the AUDACITY OF THIS TWINK-

The Samsaras Took No Time? / Genshin Theory

GENSHIN SUMERU SPOILERSSS Okay so like you know the samsara from the sabzeruz festival? although Dunyarzad did get more ill i think i have reason to believe that it is possible that the 168 loops (according to Nahida in Scaramouche boss battle cutscene stuff) did not, in fact, take 168 real life days

It is possible that Dunyarzad got more ill because it took more out of her every single loop, which goes in line with how we the Traveler and Paimon got more like tired or something, I can't remember but we had some sort of side effect but thats not the point So.. Okay so we went through 168 loops again with Scara's fight. And I mean, sure, maybe it didn't take a whole day like the Sabzeruz Festival, BUT when in the cutscene we see everyone answering how we fight the false god.. You'd think if we were put to sleep for 168 days someone would be worried af and checking in on us since theyd know we were in the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Perhaps it could be though that Scara was the one asleep, BUT remember how Dunyarzad the fill in acted? Like when Dunyarzad's real consciousness couldn't handle it and was out (and we all thought she died) and a replacement Dunyarzad came in? It'd be so easy to tell that nah, Traveler acting off. SURE that could be because Nahida with her gnosis is the one actually doing it instead of humans but like.. DOUBT???? I mean and even if she had to use a knowledge capsule for us to remember every loop, SO DID THE SABZERUZ FESTIVAL- She had to like unlock our memories or something to remember

id think that if EVERYONE knew about Scara being really close to godhood (i dont remember where but I THINK he said that he was almost done when he and the Traveler met in Pardis Dhyai, and they wouldn't have enough time to properly plan it out, like the '168th loops plan' id think??? everyone still had to do their part cause the traveler still needed to be contained and etc etc etc) then yeah maybe they wouldn't rush in and would trust the traveler to deal with it if they somehow made a good plan, but like...

yknow i dont think id intentionally leave my friend to fight a 'god' without any full on planning first - id think they would at least try to help us? i mean yeah they have their own things--

what was cyno doing? and i mean alhaitham- apparently after his cutscene if you go outside sumeru city(?) or something his guards have been knocked out- so lol? but like then he could do something right?? but i think he was in the desert.. (i know he was meant to be escorted there as another mad scholar to like aaru village)

cyno couldve been escorting azar to who knows where so i guess we cant fault him for being gone....? (and i mean the other corrupt sages prob....?)

and sURE dehya was dealing with the matra in the grand bazaar (and i think nilou too if i remember right) but id think theyd be able to deal with them and then provide help should they have known

and sure tighnaris still in pardis dhyai nursing his wound and keeping watch over haypasia

Added note: Do you think the people in the desert went through a samsara too? In the Scara cutscene she said that the people of sumeru had to go through 168 loops and samsara cycles, but I mean sure 'people of sumeru' could count as the desert AND the forest, people DO refer to the people of the forest and the people of the desert to be different as if different races so like...

and we never knew did we? I mean what was going on with cyno and alhaitham? what about collei and tighnari?? well actually i think alhaitham knew or something? i swear there was some mention about the sages big project.. i THINK alhaitham asked about it to cyno but i REALLY cant remember their dialogue rn

WAIT NO, ANOTHER ADDED NOTE:

no the desert and the forest probably did not go through it. Why? Because when we tried to leave the I think Sumeru City because I think thats where the Grand Bazaar was in the Samsara, we were kicked out of the dream and forgot. AND its all controlled by like the akasha!!! The desert dont wear those, nor do the forest.

This is it. We are finally in the ruins of k'ahanriah, the truely divineless nation. We were running. Running up so many stairs. Running down so many corridors. Just to get to that damned bloodbath ballroom. One last staircase. The abyss heralds we thought we had lost came barging into the stairwell from any entrance they could. We were stuck fine. Venti, the traveller dainsleif and I starting fighting, trying to clear out space for at least Lumine and Paimon to get through. After what seemed like twenty minutes of us protecting one another from attack apron attack we were there. In the ballroom. It was empty except for a singular gold and red throne with none other then the abyss prince himself, Aether lounged on the magnificent throne.

Lumine ran forward as the tell-tale red and black diamond opened in front of the door, trapping us in there with the prince. "Well.. I didn't think you would make it here but.. I guess I should have never doubted Lumine." The goddess said as she stepped out of the portal, dragging fleets of vision weilders (<-mispelt I think, sorry) out along with her. "Let them go. They have nothing to do with this." Lumine said to the goddess. "Fine. But first.." she held her hand out causing each and every vision holder to float twenty feet above the floor, seemingly by their necks even though nothing was there. With a flick of her wrist, we watched each ones neck contort with inhuman speed 180°. It happened sickeningly slowly. First bennett, then diluc, then amber, then Xinyan, then Xiangling, thoma, yoimia, yanfei and then poor, sweet innocent Klee. I felt as if I was going to be sick right then and there. Seeing their lifeless bodies just floating there.

Next it was the poor Anemo users. Xiao, heizou, kazuha, sayu, Sucrose, jean. The goddess was grinning as if this was some sick joke. "You ever thought you could save them outlander? That is truely laughable." The electro users were on the chopping block next. Razor. Ei. Keqing, Beidou, Lisa, Kuki, yae, fishl and sara. "I must say imposter, you grew fond of these low lives? "Dont worry. You will be with your friend... now" she flicked her wrist and everyone left dropped to the floor. It was like a car crash. You wanted to look away but you couldn't. Most had split their head on the white, pristine marble that was the ballroom floor. Watching their blood and brains leave them through their skulls and watch the light drain from all of their eyes was torture. Some got the air sucked out of their lungs, their lungs then being crushed and punctured by their very own ribs beneath the goddesses feet.

The bow string snapped into place.

I didn't feel it at first. The three arrows sticking out of my back. For a moment, I felt nothing. Then all the pain hit me at once while I realized I had fallen forward. I hit my head. I saw liquid. But not blood. Gold? No. Im seeing things. Im dizzy.. my eyes are so heavy. The room is spinning. Is someone yelling? Are they yelling under water? I will miss my friends. Please let this have been a nightmere. I don't want this dream to end yet..

What a letdown the final act of Fontaine was.

The twist was that it was all a part of the plan and everything worked out just fine in the end?

There's no stakes in this story. None at all. It builds up these huge problems and presents them as massive hurdles, and theyre beaten either with a quick fight, some easy trick, or it was all part of the plan long ago. The final act had TWO of those even. What a breakthrough! Not only was it all a part of the plan, but we dont even get to beat the final boss because this rando comes from thin air and just tosses the boss in the trash bin.

And Fontaine didn't even change! I went back to the court place and all the trees are perfectly fine when they were tilted and leafless in the cutscene just before! It's like the flood never happened!

How the hell was Fontaine even flooded like that?! The mountains were gone! FONTAINE IS ELEVATED ABOVE THE SEA. Was every other nation also flooded?! I don't know! There's been no change to Fontaine at all after this literally world-devouring flood!

There's setups and foreshadowing for the future but it means nothing when Im not worried in the slightest. The Heavenly Principles is getting namedropped more and more but I don't know what it means except that it rules the world, except also you can do whatever because the Heavenly Principles doesn't care when the Divine Seat of Hydro is destroyed which I ALSO don't know what it means when the Gnosis is still around!!

Fontaine's writing was better than the rest of the nations (up until the finale), it set up things and used most of them really well in callbacks or setups way back (a bit marred down by Paimon and constant flashbacks. I felt like I was in Persona 5 when it flashbacked to things that just happened...).

But it dropped the ball so hard at the end. Mainly because I feel no stakes from this story at all now. What's going to happen in Natlan? The Pyro Archon is killed? Like in Liyue? Is a volcano going to erupt? Can't the Archon or some Pyro dragon sovereign control lava? Is the Fatui going after the Gnosis? They have every other Gnosis already this is literally 100% expected since Sumeru. Is someone important going to die? I doubt it since they didn't even kill Navia when she fell in Primordial Water. Xiao too in the Chasm was also saved after 'sacrificing' himself to get us out.

There's no stakes. No one can die except for NPC's, who are also not the important characters. I can't remember these characters by name when they look, act, and move like 18 other identical copies.

No stakes is fine in a story - if the writers also dont want me to be worried about these massive catasrophes. But then they shouldn't write the characters as being worried. If everyone is worried about Fontaine's prophesy, obviously the player is also going to be worried. But if by the direction of the story, we, the player, ARENT meant to be worried, then Genshin Impact has utterly failed.

Am I supposed to be excited and look forward to Natlan? What I see is just another year before we get to Snezhnaya and something interesting might happen since its by nature a break of the formula. The only interesting parts of GI is Celestia and the Abyss Order.

Because I know so little about them and they are different from the seven nations.

That's it. I'm not worried about them at all from a story perspective. There's no stakes.

The fucking opening feels completely random and pointless. What was the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles doing when they stopped us from leaving? And what the hell is she doing now? For being a "sustainer" of Heavenly Principles, she sure does let a lot of things go.

How is using a non-elemental power to destroy one of the seven Divine Seats LESS OF A CRIME than trying to leave Teyvat when we were never from Teyvat to begin with? (The question of how the Abyss Twin even escaped the Sustainers cube and how we even escaped that is still unexplained. Because. Fucking how?)

We don't even ask about her any more. Did we ever care? There's never any questions we can ask if these ancient beings and Archons knows about a Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles.

Does it even matter at all?

Extremely lucky it's not even real. He got a five star on the beginner's banner

Fast farming. He probably will complete all the quest and become an endgame player within one month

Kyojuro : he wouldnt even know the existence of this game. Well, he took a glimpse of it one day and boom, heart stolen. Maybe it was the fiery burning passion in bennett that made him play the game.

The highest con of bennett he had ever gotten is probably c1. One day the paimon's bargain shop offered bennett as their monthly character. Kyojuro had never been so excited over a game before. He usually perks up over academics and not this kind of thing. But it's bennett, the character he admires the most.

Unfortunately he couldnt get it due to low currency. He had never feel so sad in his life.

"I shall not give up. Dont worry, i will be a c6 bennett main!!!"

Type of player :

Carefully reads every stories and listens to their lines attentively. He finds it amazing how the company spent their everything on this game. It amazes him. From the stories, lores and lines, he truly appreciates it.

Balance his team pretty well. He mains bennett so he doesnt need that much of a healer in his team.

Enjoys bennett's hangout very much!! He tried to not get him killed by the dungeon's trap but ended up having to sacrifice him which ultimately ends the route. He had never felt so down and guilty before.

Not much of a damage dealer. He prefers to play it in normal mode and doesnt care that much about one shotting monster.

He feeds his character three meals a day!! If only there's a sleep option, he would be sending bennett to sleep first before the rest.

Everyone loves his teapot

Shinobu : found the game while she's scrolling through the app store out of boredom. Initially she played it on her phone but due to the fps and a really bad ping, so bad that douma wouldnt find her interesting anymore, she finally downloaded the game on her pc where things has starting to get real

Loses 50/50 to diluc everytime everyone would think she either is lucky or cursed by the amount of that man greeting him on the screen. She still bench him though, sadly

My man cant dodge after he got zhongli. Its very painful because he used to studies the enemies movement in the early game so that he can utilizes it on the team but zhongli's shield is so tank he forgot that dodging exists

That one event where zhongli's shield plays an important role in the domain? Yeah, he felt like a god at that time. Even got his c2 on his rerun. Sanemi just really like zhongli because it kinda reminds him of himejima. Calm and wise and strong too. He looks up on that kind of person

Doesnt do character's story quest. The key is full every single time. He unlocks it but leaves the quest like that.

His friend list only has obanai in it. Whenever people sent him friend request, he wouldnt hesitate, more like wouldnt care to accept it

They either have to coop in obanai's world or his world and after that, unfriend immediately

Tengen : played since 1.0 this madlad has been staying loyal to the game ever since. Quite huge amount of money he spend on this game to be honest but he never gets broke by it. You can see his regular donation to the game by purchasing welkin and battle pass and some genesis crystal too. He's loaded with money, he didnt know what to do with it.

Uzui also plays honkai impact and guns girl Z so when he saw the unknown god at the intro , he was not surprised.

Although he is a loyal fan to MihoYo games, he lost his composure when he saw the 1st genshin anniversary reward because what was that. Imagine getting billions of money and they give us this? Tengen cant believe this shit

Screams in the chatbox whenever he saw Mona until Kyojuro had to calm him down

ive been rolling around clutching my chest bc i dont know what to doo….. seeing all the baggage kazuha carries and his voice breaking in some of the scenes really?? hurt?? sigh. albedo is probably the only one we see where we know hes pretty happy and at peace, and we even see xiao improving too. whenever the topic is brought up, ventis mood saddens quickly, and he has to take time to go back to his Venti Facade(TM) while kazuha? i just feel like kazuha never… Let anyone help him. during the irodori festival he peaces out to the docks and tells us not to worry about him, and later rejoins the group without really talking about it. at the end of the event quest when fischl asks if hes okay, he just thanks everyone for their concern and says his signature “its all in the past now.” YEAH but did u FEEL it… did u let urself grieve! did u ever come to terms with it! i wanna see that happen! when paimon asks if he did what he wanted, he says “you could say that” BOY WHAT DO U MEAN 😭😭😭 and then he goes on to say “please believe me when i say that i have already come a long way” i dont doubt you kazuha, but the reason everyones so concerned is because… this is very clearly a front!!!!!!! maybe its something in his voice that makes me so reluctant to believe him. idk. i just want him to be happy so bad

Fontaine thrills Aether in many ways. He often thought Sumeru was the best place he ever visited, but Fontaine came to equal grounds. He can tell Charlotte wasn't kidding back then.

"Bonjour monsieur." The far voice of the woman in a frilly dress greeted him, "Are you perhaps on your way to see Mr. Lyney's latest magic show?"

He smiled and exchanged glances with Paimon, who pointed out "Yup we are... we really see Lyney go wild"

The rainbow rose he kept made him look forward to today's show. It's been some time back after the phantom weasel incident.

After showing the way to take the tickets the woman already left. Lynette was by the entrance of the opera house waving now along with her ears and tail swishing "Hi,"

"Lynette!" Paimon squeaked only to greet back, "Oh, where's Lyney?"

Aether nodded in agreement. Then, for the first time, she offered a fond smile, "I'm sure the ever so confident and bold magician Lyney is, in fact, nervous in particular today."

Aether tilted his head "Why is that?"

She pointed at the rainbow rose on his bosom. "This... well, I'm sure I gave you enough hints, so... take your seats in the front we'll meet during our performance."

With a mysterious glance, she left. Paimon clueless turned to the rose. "Eh? Because of the flower? Was he worried about us asking for the trick again?"

Aether blushed with a smile. Maybe he did understand the situation, especially after Charlotte's brief enlightenment of floral symbolism.

"What's got you so red?" She piped curiously, of course he shakes his head and offered to proceed to the opera House.

Indeed the show began, there's no sign of anxiety, yet he did shift his eyes away from Aether when he talked animatedly by flourishing his hat with a pigeon flapping out of his hat.

The crowd laughed when he juggled clumsily, feigning that he wasn't talented at that but then spinning them back to Lynette, who perfected it by one hand. Aether was fascinated by magicians. He never did understand how magic is considered a form of deception.

The show was spectacular as always with new tricks and old ones that never get bored. After the show everyone exited, talking about how amazing Lyney did and Paimon nagged on that she gotta know the trick somehow to satisfy her.

Later on, the stars of the show arrived. Lyney's discomfort seems slight, but it's his voice that convinced his act. Lynette waved adorably "Hello, did you like the show, traveller?"

They nodded, and Paimon as always stepped towards Lyney folding her arms. "So, teacher? Paimon observed your tricks! That disappearance magic happened because you had a pigeon hidden in the hat, right?"

Aether pointed out now "I doubt that's it, he did show his empty hat"

"Right on the money traveller"

Hearinf Lyney's reply as well, it felt like the end of the world for Piamon. she wailed "Aahhh Paimon's gonna get brain fry!"

Lyney stuck his tongue playfully "Well sorry Paimon, but you tried... I still can reveal my secrets like that"

Aether wanted to say something, but Lyentte suddenly reached for Paimon, taking her out. "How about Paimon and I go and have some desserts, you two chat along"

Expecting a chide from Lyney Aether turned to him, but he flushed in complete surprise. "D-dont leave... I mean... don't spoil your a-appetite Lynette" she was already gone with a complaining Paimon.

Aether is socially active, so he can tell how Lyney is awkward for the first time. As a man on stage he's hard to read but right now Aether can read him like a book.

They left the opera house only to reach the top peak of fontaine, through the lift and staring at the city and waters. Lyney seemed to change the subject first "So, how was the show, traveller?"

Aether shrugged with a grin "As amazing as ever, honestly that's amazing"

"Loss of vocabulary, I see?" Lyney chuckled "well its a good compliment for me, and I'm motivated..."

Aether slowly picked the rainbow rose, seeing the latter distracted by the breeze he shifted the topic now, "I must say, you have a really nice way of expressing passion, Lyney"

Choking a bit to a dangerous topic he sheepishly waved it off seeing hiw the rainbow rose is already involved, "Come now, you flatter me traveller, do I look like a floral expert to you"

A clever magician indeed.

Smirking, Aether advances, pinning Lyney against the balcony as his arms gripped the railing, he appeared taller now, "So, quick question, Charlotte did provide the symbolic meaning of the rainbow rose, plus you decided to change it so easily after knowing the truth, I doubt it's ignorance"

Lyney's position did seem uneasy. He tried to remain calm, but Aether's mesmerising golden eyes didn't let him. "Aether, please... I..."

"You said my name"

That genuinely sounded happy. In fact, he could see Lyney's defences crumbling gradually. He reached to playfully pinch his sides. "Right...? You did say Aether, right?"

Flinching at the touch, he tried to push those taunting fingers, "N-no...?"

"Liar,"

The squeezes became clear as water this time, Lyney couldn't help giggle contagiously. "Alriihight trahahahveller thihihis ihihis rihihidiculous!"

Grinning back, he hummed mockingly. "Not even the magician can understand my sense of humour"

He forcefully wiggled his fingers under his armpits finally breaking the defensive part of him. This made Lyney try to escape from the side as loud snickers tumbled from his lips "Ahahaha Aehehehether wahahahit wahahahait whyhyhyhy?"

"Lynette did let slip a fact about you, so... I want confirmation. " this time, both of them blush, one because of the flushed excitement and the other in his predicament.

"Whahaha? Shehehehe dihihid?" He tried once more to push the annoying pesky fingers playfully poking his bare underarms, which he tried to close up.

"Come on Lyney, admit it, you like me?"

This was like that night with Lyney all over again. He whined now trying to curl away from him, "Ahahaha plehehehease! NOHOHO!"

Aether decided to slide his fingers on his tights, though he didn't know how sensitive they were "How convenient that your weakest spots are so vulnerable, Lyney your so cute"

"CUTE??? AHAHA AEHEHEHTHER COHOHOME OOHOHN WHYHY AHAHARE YOU TIHIHIHICKLING ME?"

Aether decided it was enough before anyone else heard Lyney's loud laughter. He watched the other lean forward on the balcony gasping for breath "Ahahaha gohohod thahats uhuhunexpexted"

"Sorry, I felt... like doing it, since you seemed to stiff" Aether said shyly.

"Aha... noho worries I... neheeded that" finally gasping and regaining his stamina he cleared his throat, no picking up his hat "Well truthfully, I didn't expect you to find out so easily, I... uh... didn't mean to but-"

"Save it, Lyney," Aether grabbed his wrist and and then reached over to grip his neck as he forced a kiss. It surprise Lyney that a mild reaction of pulling away took over but soon gave into the warm touch.

They had the same rosiness, and Lyney lowered his hat with a wary giggle. "Ihi don't know what to say... uh, Aether"

"Say nothing, I'm looking forward to your next performance" Aether waved now heading back first. Then Lyney nodded with overwhelming happiness but mischievously added "And revenge"

Looking back a brief frightened look took over but he smiled it over "Sure then I'll get revenge on your revenge, Mr. Magician."

Lynye ran after him, catching as they laughed together. Meanwhile Paimon was the only clueless person who was still engrossed in figuring out how Lyney did his tricks.

Hope Lynette didn't slip a new interrogation method for Paimon. She just left us speechless when she drank her tea, pretending obliviously to that question.

DURING THE SHOW TOO. Can I send a request for a fic with venti and a gender neutral mc? It's not really meant to be romantic or anything along those lines. I've just been constantly thinking about how the mc was stripped of everything, including their wings when they lost their fight against the unknown god, and how the gliders might have brought them a bit of comfort when trying to get accustomed to Mondstadt.

Something more heartfelt, maybe the mc just talking to venti after a late night out, or just waking up in the middle of the night to take a stroll in peace away from paimon, amber and the rest of the Chaotic knights of favonious.

In The Days To Come (How Much Will I Miss You?);

It was a series of perfect events, little coincidences, Paimon got distracted a while back by the smell of food, fluttering off with 'Delicious. Tasty food! Paimon will be back' before vanishing from your side. The knight of Favonius had no urgent problems to ask for your aid with now that the Dvalin has been saved and Mondstadt and its people can rest easy. You finally had time to yourself, time to feel and think of your new reality. 

It was the gentlest tug, pull of melancholy it crept up slowly, slowly, slowly all day nipping at your heels until you felt it from your toes to your head. Numbness, so empty at first then came sadness buried deep, ignored for days for the sake of saving others, making sure others were happy, living in their home, with their family-- while you were still missing yours. It felt unfair. Resentment and anger reared their ugly heads, howling like starving, ravenous beats. 

What an overwhelming torrent of emotion, waves after wave, lapping at your chin, your mouth, your nose. Sinking. Sinking. Sinking. No. Drowning. 

Until there was nothing but a muffled, muted haze of the world around you. 

If you nodded and 'hm', 'yes', 'sure', 'okay' your way through passing conversations no one noticed. Oh, how kind, brave and stoic the traveler was! Our hero! Maybe you didn't want to be a hero. You just wanted your sibling back. 

Gliding from the highest building in Mondstadt in the dead of night, you could close your eyes, imagine it, see it, your wings, the wind through your hair, the laughter of your best friend, your constant companion, your sibling-- 'I am absolutely certain, I can beat you!', 'Ha! How hilarious. You just try to keep up!' 

Then your feet hit the cobblestone of Mondstadt, your eyes snap open and that dream, that wish, all of it shatters into the most fragile fragments, fading away, slipping out of your mind, no matter how hard you try to grasp onto it, hold it close. Gone. 

You just want to cry. 

Figures it would be Venti who just so happens to find you. In the late hours of the night, every minute passes towards that too late but also too early threshold of time. 

He is whistling, then humming a gentle, soft song. Lyrics and melody unknown to you, deft, nimble fingers strum quiet, easy notes from his lyre. 

Quiet footsteps approaching your seating form, nearly hunched over a ledge outlooking most of Mondstadt from this peak near the cathedral and the statue of your friend, it was still a little odd to think of Venti, the whimsical, chaotic bard as a god but easier to wrap your mind around given the fact you had traveled to many different realms and worlds in the past. 

"How lucky I am to find a lone traveler, perhaps I could provide you with some company?" Venti interrupts his little performance to sit down beside you, cradling his lyre in his hands, you don't really have the energy to even answer or protest his presence even if you wanted. 

"Did you catch a bit of my new tune? I must work on something that will blow away even Master Diluc! Perhaps enough for a night of free drinks in the tavern in exchange for the request of my music!" Venti exclaims rather determinedly as always, especially when it came to getting the best wine possible, for free as well. The lengths he'd be willing to go is almost admirable in a way. 

Your answering silence, no laugh, huff or even a scoff at his expense nor a head shake, roll eyes. Nothing. 

"Ah poor traveler, your gloom could bring down even the brightest flowers bloom, what has doubled your trouble?" Even his joking yet sincere rhyming can't bring much of a reaction to your face and that eats away at Venti. Never one to want his friends to suffer, not if he is there to help in whatever way he can. 

Venti loses his playful, mischievous nature for the moment in favor of being serious. It's then he is more Anemo Archon then Venti the bard. 

"What is wrong, friend?" 

One tear is followed by many others, everything rushes to the surface, you shake, tremble, break under the weight of your own sorrow. Sobbing out to the blinking stars far, far away. 

"What if my sibling is gone forever? What if I never find any clues, signs? What if I spend the rest of my life trapped here, searching and searching?" You sound half hysterical with grief and worry, rambling out every doubt, insecurity you have kept so tightly hidden away. Because everyone else had their own problems and all the problems they wanted you to solve. 

"Years side by side, through every trouble, every battle, every adventure, journey, they were always with me. Now? I am alone. My power, my wings, my sibling taken from me." You sniff and cough, squeezing your eyes shut as the world around your blurs and become a mess of colors. 

"I am tired. I am scared. Why do I always have to be brave? Strong? My whole life has been turned upside down and I have barely had time to adjust! To take all of this in, it feels like every person I meet needs my help for something unrelated to finding my only family!" You can't help the way your words turn exhausted and bitter. 

Venti waits and listens to your venting without interruption. It's only once he is sure you have let it all out that he speaks. 

"There is no shame in your sorrow, your pain. You have been thrown into a situation unfamiliar and unless anything you have experienced before and you are being forced to endure this without your closest friend, your sibling." Venti's tone is slow, decisive as if he is giving every single word meticulous thought. 

"You are incorrect to assume that means you are alone. You have new friends here, people who care about you, your journey and your goal. Paimon, Me, Jean, Lisa, Diluc, Kaeya, Amber, we all care for you. And you will have our support whenever you need it. Without question." The finality and firmness of his statement leaves no room for argument. 

You realize and recognize the truth in his words and Venti stays by your side, in the quiet night as you cry and cry, relieving the tangled knot of everything you had let grow, fester and linger for so long, even before you found Paimon. 

Venti plays a soothing harmony, a mellow, delicate dance of the strings of his lyre and his soft voice, singing; something just for you, for the moment of trust and sharing between two friends. It is a lovely, comforting song as your tears begin to dry and the burden on you is lessened for now. 

It's easy to smile and hum along with Venti as if you've heard this a dozen times.

You have no idea what is awaiting you on the journey, what struggles you will face, what obstacles and hardships that will cause you to stumble and fall but you do have friends who will be there to pick you back up again and again.

"Paimon just enjoyed a juicy, sweet, savory meal! (Name) you should have join- wait a minute!" Paimon takes one look at you and her cheeks puff out in anger, it's too cute to be truly scary but the glares she shoots at Venti is fiercely defensive. 

"What did you do tone-deaf bard?!" 

You laugh, reaching out to take hold of Paimon, you hug her gentle. Paimon squeaks out in surprise but you feel her tiny arms gently squeeze your neck. 

"I have done nothing wrong, this time." Venti had paused his private little song, ensuring it was something meant to be shared between you two just like this night would be a shared memory to look back on. 

Paimon wiggles away from you, floating before you, you watch her stick her tongue out at Venti, blowing and making a hilarious show of her disbelief. "Paimon doesn't believe you! Apologize to them now!" 

In the ensuing 'fight' between Venti and Paimon, you watch Venti reach forward and pinch her cheek and the small girl lunged at him in a failed attempt to choke him, you are sure, Venti holds her back with a hand over her face. 

You laugh. 

Yeah, you had friends and you weren't alone.
