finally on the sleeves of my current sweater project i’m so excited for it to be completed and to have another woolen handmade garment for when the weather gets cold
#it’ll be my 3rd sweater of 2024 and my second for myself#i made a midnight blue cable sweater w thick thick wool#and a light white cardigan w pearl buttons and lots of ribbing for my gf#and now this mottled seaglass green turtleneck for myself#and not to mention socks#fingerless gloves#leg warmers#washcloths for a new baby in the family#it’s my best year for knitting so far and it’s not even close#i love it bc i can knit at work if im not manager on shift that day#keeps me focused on my work to have my hands busy#and it’s fun to like passively craft and my coworkers like to see what i end up with at the end it’s sweet#personal#knitting

I've knit my first cardigan! It's intentionally oversized, and made with 100% wool yarn and wooden buttons. I started knitting it during the evening of November 28th, and finished it a week later during the evening of December 5th. The layout of the colours is based on a house I used to visit, especially the living room walls.

The Wool Gathering: 2023!
I went to a fiber festival this weekend! I got so much yarn in my colors!! DYE MAD YARNS has been a fave for a few years, but this is the first time I've acquired anything from FIBER SEED (I say acquired because the fiber seed stuff is actually a Christmas present, to me, from Mom, whom I took with me to said Wool Gathering). What a fun time! SAW YAKS IRL!!!!
