Finished knitting this vest/cardigan thingy!!

The pattern i used is Hortensia from Maja Karlsson’s cardigan book

The wool i used is dutch spotted sheep that i spun myself and the buttons are shell buttons that i found somewhere i domt remember bfkfnf

i finished my sweater! post 2/2

first two i was debating a button band

here is after the button bands added but pre blocking:

and then blocking, wet and dye bleedy, natch

and finally, today, dry and ready to go. longer than i expected but life moves on. it’s cozy and i like it!

this is my seventh sweater and i have yarn and plans for the eighth lol. love knitting sweaters. thanks for following along!

I've knit another cardigan! Like the others I've made with this pattern, this one also was made with wool yarn and wooden buttons. I wanted to work with autumnal colours for this one.

finally on the sleeves of my current sweater project i’m so excited for it to be completed and to have another woolen handmade garment for when the weather gets cold

Maybe I did this to myself but it does irk me when people see me knitting and they ask who it’s for and I say it’s for me and the immediate reaction is “you should sell it” yeah… let me spend at least a week’s worth of my free time making an item I like, want, and would wear just to sell it on etsy, making at most a £2 profit on materials and not being compensated for my time whatsoever 👍🏻
