P: Renjun x gender neutral reader | G: fluff, headcanon | Inc: soft bf!renjun, meeting on sns, handholding, teasing, friends to lovers, getting smothered by your friends, café dates | Wc: 451 | W: food cw | R: G
Nct’s resident artist boyfriend everyone!!
Anywho—
You and Renjun initially met at an art workshop
He was looking for help with a brush technique and there you were, having just learnt it from the art professor
Bless you for offering to help him because he’s certain he wouldn’t have asked himself
Somewhere during the workshop, social media handles are shared
You two are the creative friends to lovers fr
Sending aesthetic pictures to each other and saying what do we think?
Renjun’s the one who takes the initial leap to give you his number
And the rest was history <3
Renjun is 100% the teases you out of love boyfriend
It’s his love language <33
Very much a fan of buying little trinkets he finds that remind him of you
Presents them to you when he gets home by quite literally dumping the paper gift bag in your lap
Immensely satisfied by the reaction on your face
Takes you to craft stores and small privately-owned cafés on dates
Saves your favourite new cafés and restaurant on his phone so can grab desserts and take-out from there on his way home for you
This man makes such a good impression on your friends
I’m convinced they smother him in affection whenever he joins you on an outing
Low-key pleading for help with his eyes while he’s having his poor soul squeezed out of him
And you’re over there watching him suffer with an unassuming grin on your face
What did he really expect from you, huh?
You little traitor – his words, trust me
But it’s fine, he loves you anyway
Even if he’s wheezing to get his breath back
Isn’t the biggest fan of PDA but peppers you with kisses all over the second you two are alone
Expect forehead kisses and the occasional peck on the lips when you two are outside
Hand holding with Renjun >>>
Makes up for his lack of PDA by having your hand in his almost always
He stuffs your hand in his pocket when it’s cold and puts a hand warmer in the hand he is (unfortunately) not holding
Pretends not to absolutely combust when you put your head on his shoulder as you’re walking home from a date
He feels absolutely normal about this. Yes :D
Takes candid pictures of you and uses them in a collage that he surprises you with on your birthday
I swear down he has the softest of smiles as you process the gift in your hands
Has the sweetest of heart eyes fr
“This…you made this for me?”
“Of course I did, my love~”
You better keep this man
Renjun best boyfriend
I’m rooting for you two <3

Crete, 12th century B.C.
Soaring above Crete, on wings made from wax and feathers, Icarus, the son of Daedalus, defied the laws of both man and nature, ignoring the warnings from his father, he rose higher and higher. To witnesses on the ground, he looked like a god, and as he peered down from above, he felt like one too. But, in mythological ancient Greece, the line that separated god from man was absolute, and the punishment for mortals who attempted to cross it was severe. Such was the case for Icarus and Daedalus.
Daedalus could only watch in horror as Icarus ascended higher and higher, powerless to change his son’s dire fate. When the heat of the sun melted the wax on his wings, Icarus fell from the sky, just as Daedalus many times had ignored the consequences of defying the natural laws of mortal men in the service of his ego, Icarus was also carried away by his own hubris.
“Icarus!”
A scream erupted from the father, as he watched his son fall from the sky, his artificial wings dissolved, Icarus kept flapping his wings but soon realised that he had no feathers left and that he was only flapping his featherless arms, he was holding onto the wood where the feathers were once placed for dear life. He knows he should’ve listened to his father, he shouldn’t have flown too close to the sun.
He was scared, he grew confident, no, overconfident, he was overwhelmed by the idea of flying, the ecstasy of freedom, and the feeling the air, he was touching the clouds, it gave him a godly feeling... He felt as if he was a god, and that was what boosted his confidence, and overcome with the feeling of divine power that came with it, he ignored his father’s frequent warnings, but now he was paying for it. He shouldn’t have flown too close to the sun.
Icarus fell into the sea, he didn’t know how to swim, and as a result, the water entered his lungs filling them, and he felt as if they were burning. He was scared of the idea of dying, he was still young, he shouldn’t die because of the first mistake he made, he was young and supposed to be learning from his mistakes not dying because of them. He tried to return to the surface, but it was all in vain, he saw his own life flashes before his eyes, unfortunately, it was short, soon enough he let himself go letting the darkness consume him, with one thought on his mind.
He shouldn’t have flown too close to the sun.
***
Heracles carried the young man’s body as he went to bury him in the tomb he erected. Heracles looked down at Icarus whose body had gone pale and his hair lost the shining it held, He was doubting if he should bury him and just go on his way, or take him to his father... Zeus.
He pitied the boy, he was young, he was reckless, and he was just living the life of youth, all the kids around his age were like him. Unfortunately, his story was going to be legendary, parents are going to teach their kids to listen to them or else they will end up like Icarus.
The boy who should’ve listened to his father and didn’t fly close to the sun.
Heracles stopped when he heard a movement coming from between the bushes, he whipped around ready to fight whoever stood in his way, but instead, he saw a woman in a hood looking at him, and he knew from that moment, this woman was a witch.
He put the body he was carrying a moment ago on the ground and looked at the woman with fire in his eyes. “What do you want?” he asked.
“Ah, no need to worry about me, I mean no harm. I’m here to tell you that Hades is looking for this boy.” she replied and Heracles looked at her wide-eyed.
He knew better than not to trust witches, but he knows what his uncle was capable of, this boy had already faced a tragic ending, he doesn’t need to witness another one. Debating what to do, he turned to the witch once more and asked her.
“What should I do then?”
The witch smiled and replied before disappearing into the darkness. “Take him to your father, give the boy another chance.”

.
Seoul, 21th century CE.
Looking at the sun as if it took something precious from him, he didn’t understand how could people love something that can be so dangerous, sure it gives them light and warmth, but it can also destroy anything that comes too close to it... Even if you look at it for a while, you lose your eyesight.
“Taeyong? What are you doing here?”
He heard a soft voice calling him, he tore his eyes away from the sun and turned to look at the woman he loves with all of his heart.
He smiled and turned around again and replied, “Watching the sunset.”
You looked at him in amusement and went to stand next to him, he held your hand as he looked at the sun with the same gaze he was looking at earlier.
“Well, if I’m correct, my vampire of a boyfriend hates looking at the sun,” you said as he let out a chuckle wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
“Just because I dislike the sun, doesn’t mean I’m a vampire!” he said whining playfully causing your smile to widen.
“Maybe you’re right, I mean, it’s not like you bite me or anything,” you said sighing dramatically, and he smirked mockingly.
“But I do bite you sometimes,” he said causing you to blush and look ahead of you, Taeyong smiled seeing you so flustered like this.
Meeting you was the best thing that has ever happened to Taeyong, he was unfortunate almost all his life, as if he was cursed, he can’t go to a place where people wouldn’t stop looking at him, you assured him many times that it was because he was too handsome, but he disagrees. He thinks it’s like people are judging him, and he doesn’t know for what exactly, he was pretty normal, or maybe that was what he convinced himself to think. When he was young, Taeyong felt different from the other kids his age, he remembers when his parents first took him to the beach when he was six years old, he remembers how he cried upon seeing the water, yelling and begging for his parents to get away from it.
But then you came, his new coworker, and it was like all the abnormalities in his life vanished the moment he set his eyes on you, you were like a blooming rose in the middle of a dead field, you gave life to everything around you, he was captivated by your beauty, it was from another world, he was sure you were an angel, even the way you acted with people around you, either they were friends or strangers, you were kind and always held a smile on your face, and was very delicate with the delicate things.
It took him a lot of time to approach you, he thought if he walked up to you asking you on a date, you were going to laugh at him and tell him that you had a boyfriend. But the opposite happened, you greeted him with a smile and told him that you had no problem with going on a date with him, and since then, romance blossomed between the two of you until he finally asked you to be his girlfriend which made you over the moon.
Taeyong treated you with nothing but love, he treated you like you were the most delicate flower, he was always so affectionate with you and made sure that you feel loved and happy all the time, he was also super supportive of you, and when you achieve something or impress your employers at work, he would sit with a smile on his face and feel his heart swell with love, and he may or may not boast about it to his coworkers and friends.
“Did Johnny tell you about the new location of the wedding?” you asked causing your boyfriend to look at you smiling and nodded.
“Yes, he called me yesterday, I’m really happy for him,” Taeyong answered as his mind drifted back to when he witnessed his friend proposing to his girlfriend, and how he was over the moon when she agreed to marry him. He also wishes for the same future with you, it was no secret that Taeyong wanted to marry you, you were the only woman he pictured as his wife and the mother of his children.
“Yeah, me too,” you said as you took Taeyong’s hand in yours, giving him comfort from the anxiety that overcome his body.
Taeyong gave no reaction but nodded, he felt uneasy travelling to another country, he didn’t understand why Johnny had to travel to another country to hold his wedding when he could’ve held it in their country where everyone would be able to attend. He can easily apologize to Johnny for not going to the wedding and avoid travelling, but he knows how his friend is going to be let down by the news, and he didn’t want to disappoint Johnny because he was scared.
“Yuri told me that she was the one who suggested holding the wedding in Icaria, she wanted to do something different,” you paused when you noticed the troubled look on Taeyong’s face and asked, “Taeyong? Darling, are you okay?”
He didn’t answer you right away, it seemed as if he had trouble speaking, he was doubting if you would understand what he was feeling, but he knew that you would never judge him, quite the opposite, he knows you were going to make sure to help him until he felt better.
Your eyes held nothing but pure concern for your lover, you were worried about him, you know he could be weird at times, despite that, you loved him unconditionally. You held his hand, noting that they were sweating and you were sure it wasn’t from the weather. You watched as he took a deep breath before looking at you once again, his eyes held doubt and vulnerability.
“I’m scared... The idea of travelling to another foreign country makes me anxious, I know I’m being irrational, but it scares me so much, I sometimes feel like the idea is suffocating me as if it wants me dead. But I have to, if I don’t go Johnny is going to be disappointed, he’s counting on me Y/N, and I can’t let him down.” Taeyong confessed, looking everywhere but your eyes.
You sighed hugging him, he hugged you back tightly, the familiar feeling of comfort and relief filled him, he felt like the mountain of worries he held on his shoulders had been lifted by your simple touch, and that’s another reason why Taeyong loves you so much. You ran a hand through his hair soothing him completely.
“Hey now, it’s okay, I’m with you, you don’t have to worry about anything as long as I’m around,” you whispered and he hummed contently causing you to smile. You didn’t let go of him until he pulled away first, you always made sure he was okay before starting to talk to him about his problem.
“Taeyong, polyagapiménos,” you said and he closed his eyes smiling upon hearing the pet name, you continued, “I know that travelling to another country scares you and you have every right to be... If I’m being honest, I’m scared too, but I know that it’d be alright because I have you with me, and that’s all that matters.” he rested his forehead against yours affectionately, as he closed his eyes in affection smiling slightly. “As long as we’ve each other, I don’t want anything else from the world. Think about this as a vacation for both of us, to have a break from all the work and stress we’re going through. What do you say?” you said and he opened his eyes looking at you.
Thinking about your words, they sent a wave of calmness through him, he needed words of comfort that made all his doubts go away, he didn’t want his fear getting in the way of his friendship with Johnny, he couldn’t lose him because the idea of flying terrified him. But, there you were, chasing away all his fears with your comforting words, he felt as if he was Atlas, the Titan who was responsible for bearing the weight of the heavens on his shoulders, but you, you were an angel who disobeyed Zeus’ orders and set him free because that was enough for his punishment.
Taeyong looked at you like you put the stars in the sky, he kissed your lips softly, you smiled through the kiss and ran your hand through his hair. His lips tasted so sweet, his lips were like a drug that you were addicted to, not only his lips but all of him, you could never get enough of him.
He pulled away smiling pushing a strand of your hair behind your ear and put his other hand on your cheek, “I don’t know what I would do without you.” he whispered and you smiled leaning into his hand kissing the palm of his hand.
“You don’t have to worry about that, I’m not going anywhere,” you promised and he smiled.
“Good, because I don’t plan on letting you go at all.”

In a place that looked like a castle, the roof was so high that no one could ever see its end, the walls were gold and beautifully decorated as if it was heaven itself. Then a very muscular man walked through the gates carrying a body. He lied the body he was carrying on the ground, the man sat on one knee and looked ahead of him.
“Heracles.”
He looked up to see an enormous man who looked at him with a small smile gracing his features, he looked human, but he sure wasn’t one.
“Father,”
“Long time no see, son.” His father said causing the son to smile.
“I know, I’m sorry. I came here with an issue.” Heracles started as his father nodded motioning for him to continue, “This boy... He was flying with his father to get away from King Minos, but he flew close to the sun and his feathers melted causing him to fell into the sea and drowned... I met a witch, and she told me that Hades is looking for him, and she ordered me to take him to you. She told me to give him another chance.” Heracles explained but Zeus didn’t seem phased.
“You do know that the boy thought of himself as a god when he was flying? His father thought that he could compete with the god’s powers... It was only a punishment for him to lose his son like that. Besides, I cannot interfere in Hades’ business, I gave him my word, this is an absolute rule I set, and even if I did allow this, he will never allow this to happen.” the father replied and his son looked at him pleadingly.
“Father, please, he’s just a boy, he was reckless, save him. He doesn’t deserve to be sent to Hades, please.” Heracles pleaded in pain, Heracles was feeling like that because he had a son who was almost the same age as him, and his son died. And he didn’t wish the same fate upon the boy he wanted to save desperately.
Zeus looked at him, a war igniting within him, he looked at Athena, who was sitting on her throne patiently, calm, and collected. Zeus sighed as he walked over to the boy who was lying on the ground of Olympus, Zeus looked at him and the broken wood where the feathers were placed, Zeus put his hand on the boy’s shoulder, and an incredible light shone from the back of his shoulder.
Heracles watched in amazement as his father stood over the dead boy, the broken woods were long gone, but a scar appeared on the back of both his shoulders, he sighed knowing that the way his father punished the boy for thinking about being a god, and also for being reckless.
Zeus stepped away from him and nodded at Hermes to take the body of the boy away, Heracles anxiously watched the boy being taken away by his half-brother. And Zeus turned around looking at Heracles and said.
“He shall have a second chance then.”

The sky was clear, the clouds were decorating it beautifully, the birds were flying away their wings making the most peaceful sound, the sound of freedom. Looking beneath him, he saw a man in his mid-fifties flying with his arms extended and he wore artificial wings, furrowing his eyebrows, he then noticed how his arms were also extended and he saw the artificial wings he also wore.
Feeling worried, he felt the sunlight hitting his face, he looked up and looked away immediately because the sun was right in front of him. He tried to fly away from it, but suddenly he saw the feathers falling off from his wings and his breath hitched in his throat.
“Icarus!”
He fell from the sky as his wings did earlier, he was falling fast and then closed his eyes the moment his body hit the water as he started drowning painfully.
***
Taeyong opened his eyes breathing heavily, his chest was heaving up and down as he tried to catch his breath as if he finished running a marathon. Looking beside him, he saw you sleeping peacefully, he stood up not wanting to disturb your sleep. He went to the bathroom to wash his face to help him recover from the nightmare.
It was the same nightmare he has been getting ever since he decided that he was going to Icaria for Johnny and Yuri’s wedding. He didn’t know why this was happening, and he didn’t know why he also was getting this nightmare in particular. He took a deep breath as he splashed his face with the water, after a few seconds he wiped his face with the towel, and felt an ache in the blades of his shoulders.
Taeyong sighed in pain as he touched the part that was hurting him the most, he felt his hand touch something rough. Furrowing his eyebrows, he looked into the mirror to see the scar that he didn’t know when he got it, and he also touched the same scar on the other shoulder.
Looking in the mirror, he saw you standing behind him rubbing your eyes cutely, Taeyong smiled and turned to look at you, taking your face between his hands.
“Darling? Why are you awake?” Taeyong asked, feeling bad for interrupting your sleep.
“I got scared when I didn’t see you next to me, so I came looking for you,” you explained and Taeyong smiled at your cuteness, bringing one of your hands up to his lips kissing it lovingly.
“I’m sorry, I just had a bad dream,” Taeyong said and you furrowed your eyebrows at his words. Taeyong avoided meeting your eyes, you gently put a finger under his chin, causing his head to rise, your eyes meeting his, you saw how vulnerable he was.
“The same nightmare?” you asked and he nodded sighing. “Do you think about it a lot? Maybe that’s why you keep on seeing the same nightmare...” you trailed and Taeyong shook his head.
“No, it’s not like that, I don’t try to think of it because I know it’s only going to affect me, I try to avoid it at any point... But it keeps on haunting me.” Taeyong explained his voice small and weak.
You sighed heavily trying to get his mind off the nightmare, but you didn’t know what to say. Taeyong turned back to the mirror and then looked at you asking.
“Do you feel anything? Here?”
You furrowed your eyebrows and touched the blade of his shoulder, you traced it delicately only to feel the pattern of the scar.
“No, it’s normal,” you replied and that made Taeyong more confused. He was wondering how you couldn’t feel the roughness that was inside his scar.
“Why do you ask though?” you asked again and he shook his head, “No reason, it’s just I was examining it... I don’t remember when or how I got it,” he replied and you smiled reassuringly.
“Don’t worry about it Yongie, you see this?” you said and lifted your leg, pointing at the scar that was on the inner of your thigh. “I grew up with this on my thigh, when I asked my mother she told me that was because my clumsy baby self burnt herself by accident. Maybe you should ask your parents,” you suggested and he bent down kissing your thigh.
“I will ask my mother, also you’re still beautiful, it makes you more attractive.” Taeyong winked and you blushed as he laughed hugging you close to his body.
.
.
.
Unfortunately, the nightmares became more frequent which caused Taeyong to be more anxious, stressed, and scared. You tried to help him as much as you could, but you know nothing was helping. Taeyong before didn’t have a problem going out in the daylight, but now he’s scared to even open the windows. And his fear of heights was also getting worse, you didn’t what happened to him to be triggered like this, and you didn’t know how to help him anymore, so you decided to take this upon your shoulders and talk to someone you trust about it.
You walked inside the big building, and went to the receptionist, you approached her and she smiled at you politely. You smiled back and said.
“Hi, I’m Y/N Y/L/N, and I have an appointment today.”
“Oh yes, please sit down for a few moments,” she answered and you nodded and went to sit down on the sofa that was seated there.
You sat and examined the place intently, you’ve never been here before, and you came only for the sake of your boyfriend, you wanted to help because you hated to see him defenceless like this. He wasn’t your Taeyong, he was always scared and paranoid, not living his life at the maximum, and you were both worried and sad.
“Fancy seeing you here, Y/N.”
You heard a voice speaking, you looked up to meet two soft, brown eyes, you smiled getting up and engulfing your adopted-brother in a hug and said.
“It’s been a long time, Doyoung.”
After a few seconds, Doyoung pulled away from you, as he led you to his office, he opened the door and let you inside as he took off his coat and sat on his chair. You smiled as your eyes fell upon the portrait that was placed on his desk.
“I can’t believe you still have this photo.” you chuckled as you took the picture tracing it and smiling fondly.
It was a photo of you, Doyoung, and your father. He was carrying both of you on his back as little you and Doyoung smiled widely at the camera. Doyoung loved his adoptive father so much, not only he saved his life when he was young, but he also never made him feel like he didn’t belong. Quite the opposite actually, your father even taught him all the things he knew, and he also inspired Doyoung to become a psychologist.
When your father brought Doyoung who was five years old at that time home, he was wrapped up in his jacket, but his hair was still wet from the rain, your three-old-self gave him your favourite blanket and plushie so he could feel better. From this moment, you two were inseparable.
“Of course I still have it, it was such a joyful moment, something to wipe away all the memories of him being in pain,” Doyoung muttered, and you sighed heavily, remembering all the sleepless nights you spent next to your ill father.
At the age of fifteen, you discovered that your father had a serious illness, and none of the doctors knew what was wrong with him, he had a rare disease and the chance of him surviving it was less than ten percent.
For six months, he was in indescribable pain, you always cried in your brother’s arms, his screams still haunting you till this day. Until one day, when you were coming back from school and entered the house, it was dead silent, you were confused, then you saw seventeen-year-old Doyoung, sitting on the chair, his eyes bloodshot red and he was sniffling. You knew then that you were never going to see your father again.
It was a hard time for you, you couldn’t move on from the fact that you were never going to see your father again, till this day, sometimes you miss him terribly and you cry all night, even Taeyong can’t help you if you ever miss him.
“Yeah... Anyways, how are you? And how’s your wife doing?” you asked and Doyoung smiled.
“I’m good, and Jiwoo is amazing too. How about you? I haven’t heard from you for almost a month, and also how’s your weirdo of a boyfriend doing?” Doyoung snorted.
“And this is exactly why I’m here,” you answered him and he looked at you waiting for an explanation.
You told him all about what was wrong with Taeyong and how weird he has been acting ever since he heard the news of the new location of Johnny and Yuri’s wedding. Doyoung listened closely as you spoke, noting every little detail that left your mouth.
It wasn’t strange for him, he already dealt with people almost worse than Taeyong, but he knew you wanted him to assure you that Taeyong was fine, and that was something he couldn’t fake.
After you finished telling the story, Doyoung stood up and went through the shelves looking for something, you didn’t say anything, just watched him silently. He came back with a book in his hand and some files which you assumed were researches.
Doyoung sat down on his desk and opened the first file, pushing it towards you and said.
“So, after what you told me, I think Taeyong’s phobias are pretty normal to me, sure phobias are irrational, but most people suffer from the same phobias. Such as the fear of heights and water, the abnormal one is his fear of the sun..” Doyoung trailed and he looked into your eyes pointing down at the file in front of you, you looked down and read the title.
“There has been a legend going around for a very long time, that our phobias are how we died of in our past lives. And if this legend is correct, then maybe Taeyong died because of the sun, or the water, or heights.” Doyoung explained and before you could say anything, he opened the next file.
“The same legend says that our dreams are our memories in our past lives. So, what’s Taeyong dream about?” he asked.
“He told me that, he dreams of falling from the sky, and someone shouting a name he couldn’t remember correctly, he also told me that every time he falls, he ends up drowning in the sea.” you shuddered at the image your mind created.
Doyoung sighed rubbing his temples, he looked troubled, in the beginning, it seemed like Taeyong’s case was simple, but it turned out to be difficult. He looked at you already coming up with a plan that he wasn’t going to tell you about.
“Frankly, I think these nightmares are just because of his fears, you’re saying these nightmares started ever since he learnt that he had to fly to attend his friend’s wedding, correct?” Doyoung asked and you nodded waiting to see what he was thinking.
“Then it’s simple, the news triggered his phobias, and because he knows he has to attend, he is thinking of all the worst scenarios that could happen to him once he sets his foot on the plane,” Doyoung concluded.
You looked at him amazed by how he seemed to have a solution for every problem, to say you were beyond proud of your brother was an understatement. Doyoung stood up and went to the small cupboard, he took out a small bottle and put it in front of you.
“What are these?” you asked.
“These are pills to help him during the time of the flight, you are going to need them. It’s going to be a living nightmare for Taeyong, so you have to be prepared for the worst, and these pills are serotonin reuptake inhibitors also known as SSRIs.” Doyoung explained as you took the pills from him.
He could sense you were a bit anxious which is understandable, but he didn’t want that, he knew what he was doing, you just needed some reassurance.
“Is it going to be that bad for him?” you asked referring to the pills, Doyoung sighed and nodded.
“Y/N, don’t worry, it’s completely fine as a human being who is about to face his phobia what he feels is normal. But I can assure you that these pills will help him greatly, and I want you to keep an eye on him on the plane, he might have a panic attack.” Doyoung said and you sighed.
To say you were skeptic would be an understatement, but decided to say nothing. You stood up smiling and hugging him, ready to leave.
“Thank you so much, Doyoung. I’ll leave now, sorry for bothering you and thanks for the free pills.” you said and he laughed patting your head.
“Don’t say that, and please visit me more often, you know your older brother would love to see his little sister more often.” Doyoung teased and you smiled nodding.
Once you left the office, Doyoung sat down again and started to look through the files again, stumbling upon the paper he was looking for. Grabbing his phone typing down the numbers, dialling it.
“Hello?”
“Kun, meet me in my office in thirty minutes and don’t be late.”
.
.
.
Entering the airport, Taeyong felt anxious more than ever, the voices that echoed through the big speakers announcing the flights made him want to go back home. But he knows he can’t do that, he had already bought the tickets and promised Johnny and Yuri to attend the wedding, they were counting on him, and knowing Johnny, Taeyong knows that he needed him the most because that was a big step in his life and he wanted to make sure that his best friend was to witness this step and be there for him.
“Darling? Are you okay?”
Taeyong heard your soothing voice and he turned around his scared eyes meeting yours. You got anxious by the way he was looking at everything around him, doubting everything, you know he was scared because he was about to face his biggest fear... Flying.
“Yes, yes, it’s nothing,” Taeyong replied and you looked at him, not believing what he was saying.
“Yongie, it’s not too late to return home, the wedding doesn’t matter, you’re the only thing that matters the most to me. And if you’re not comfortable with flying, you could say the word right now and I would cut these two tickets in half.” you said sternly.
Taeyong looked at you like you were a goddess, he couldn’t believe how he managed to be with an angel like you. You always made sure that he was okay and comfortable with everything going around him, and you weren’t shy when it came to his comfort zone, if it meant not going to his best friend’s wedding, then so be it. You didn’t care as long as he was comfortable and happy.
Taeyong smiled softly kissing your forehead, you sighed leaning into his warmth, and he wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
“No love, we are going to this wedding, I can do this, as long as you’re with me I’m pretty sure I can face any fears.” he replied and you blushed slightly at his words but looked at him for confirmation and he replied with dragging you to check your luggage.
After an hour or so, you two got on the plane, Taeyong growing more anxious with every step he took towards the plane. When he set a foot on the plane he felt a shiver run down his spine, he ignored it though and sat down on his seat next to you.
When the plane took off, he closed his eyes as a feeling of nostalgia ran through his body, his mind flashed him some of the nightmares he had, his stomach was twisting as he remembered how he fell from the sky and drowned in the sea. He didn’t want the same fate he had in the nightmare, he didn’t want that to happen.
Taeyong could feel his breath quickens and seemed like he was about to have a panic attack, he felt dizzy and couldn’t breathe properly, he could feel as if his heart was going to stop any moment, the overwhelming fear of his phobia is taking the best of him.
You noticed how Taeyong was breathing heavily, you looked at him sadly and held his hand tightly. He squeezed it but didn’t dare to open his eyes, too scared and thought that if he opened them the plane would fall and he dies.
“Polyagapiménos... I’m here with you,” you whispered and kissed the smooth skin of his cheek. Then you took out the pills Doyoung gave you and opened the small bottle bottle and pressed two pills against Taeyong’s lips.
He was confused about what was this but didn’t dare to open his eyes, so you rubbed his hand comfortingly, “Those are some pills to help you overcome your fears, they’ll make you feel better.” you soothed.
Without hesitation, Taeyong swallowed them and took the water bottle from your hand, gulping the water as if it was going to calm his nerves.
After ten minutes, Taeyong breathed and opened his eyes as he looked at the opened window of his seat, he could see the clouds and he smiled at the sight, he saw the birds flying from below and his heart felt at ease. It felt like freedom and he wished to be like these birds, he wanted to feel free from all the things that ached his head. He wanted to be fearless.
All the calming feelings Taeyong felt disappeared when he saw the sun, it glowed greatly and its rays hit his face. His mind drifted back to his nightmare and how the sun always dissolved his wings and killed him. He closed the window quickly avoiding it and sighed deeply, he glared at the seat in front of him angrily imagining it the sun he was looking at earlier.
The pills you gave him looked like they had fast effectiveness because now it was like he was normal and didn’t fear anything, he was impressed by how well you handled the situation so well.
“Taeyong, are you okay now?”
He turned his head to your direction, his face softened when he saw you looking at him concerned, he smiled nodding.
“Yes darling, I’m better now,” he assured and you smiled and Taeyong took out his phone snapping a picture of you smiling.
“Hey! I wasn’t ready! I look ugly, Yongie!” you whined as you tried to take the phone from his hand but he was stronger than you and held you back.
“No, you don’t, my baby girl is always beautiful,” Taeyong said and you blushed hiding your face behind your hands. “By the way, how did you get these pills? And how did you even know they were going to work?” he asked and you smiled.
“I went to Doyoung and told him that we were flying for a wedding and you had fear of flying, so he told me to give you these pills because they’ll help,” you explained, half telling the truth because you didn’t want him to worry much.
Taeyong smiled softly as he took you in his arms cuddling you, in return, you wrapped your arms around his waist hugging him tightly. Taeyong was so tired after taking the pills, his eyelids were heavy as he tried hard not to fall asleep. Looking at him, you pressed a kiss to his cheek, drawing circles on his hand lovingly, whispering.
“Go to sleep baby, we have a long way ahead of us.”

Ever since you arrived at Icaria, Taeyong didn’t feel homesick, quite the opposite actually, it was as if he returned home. He was so happy looking at Icaria with an adoring look on his face, and he could never forget the déjà vu that hit him when he saw a temple that he swore he saw it somewhere but he couldn’t remember when or where. You were happy that Taeyong was enjoying himself while the two of you explored Icaria a week before the wedding of Johnny and Yuri, you prepared a small picnic to a park that Taeyong knew nothing about, you wanted him to enjoy himself and his time to the maximum because it’s not every day he travels to new places.
Taeyong smiled when you dragged him in the park, sitting the huge basket down, you took out the blanket and he helped you spread it on the grass, you sat down and he followed, sitting across from you. You took out the lunch you made and the bottle of juice, you took a plate and started filling it with every piece of food you made for Taeyong who was staring at you intently. He smiled at the fact of how you take good care of him, you always made sure he eats well and was healthy and scolded him when he overworks himself and forgets to eat or drink water. Every night, he thanks his lucky stars that he found you, or god knows what could’ve happened to him.
“You’re doing it again,” you muttered and Taeyong snapped back to reality, smiling at you as if he was mocking you.
“Doing what?” he asked again and you sighed feeling shy under his gaze. Despite being with Taeyong for almost four years now, he never failed to make you flustered, it was as if he wants to see the blood rushing to your cheeks every time he says or does anything that makes you blush.
“You know exactly what, don’t you get tired of staring at me?” you asked handing him his plate, he sat it down and kissed your hand affectionately causing you to smile and your heart to melt as he answered.
“Never.”
The two of you started eating enjoying the weather and the sun, or rather you enjoying the sun because Taeyong was complaining about how the world would be a better place if it was just night with the moon and the stars illuminating the sky, and at least the weather wouldn’t be hot. You remembered the talk you shared with Doyoung and frowned. This could never be a phobia, Taeyong just strongly dislikes the sun, if he really had a phobia of the sun, he wouldn’t dare to go out in the sunlight. Also, the fact that you feel like Doyoung is hiding something from you makes you even more determined to know what’s the matter with your lover instead of being fed with lies.
“Love? Are you listening to me?”
You heard Taeyong ask you his voice soft and concerned, you turned to look at him and smiled not wanting him to be worried or anything.
“I’m sorry Tae, I zoned out, what were you saying again?” you asked and he looked at you in doubt but chose not to say anything.
“I was telling you about Johnny and Yuri, Johnny called me this morning and suggested we all go out for sightseeing tomorrow, what do you say?” he asked and you nodded.
“Sure yeah! I want you to enjoy your time the most, that’s what matters the most to me,” you said smiling and Taeyong grinned.
“Are you really trying to flirt with me right now?” he teased and you groaned sitting back and he just laughed. “You know, Y/N?” Taeyong said and you looked at him waiting to hear what he wanted to say.
“Yes, Yongie?”
“Ever since I stepped my foot inside this island, I felt so happy, like returning home after being away for a long time. It all seemed so familiar, and the breeze that blew when I exited the airport, it was as if the breeze was welcoming me for returning home. For the first time in my life, I feel like I belong somewhere. I feel like this is my home.” Taeyong said and you smiled, happy to hear such things coming out from his mouth.
You noticed this too, even if hadn’t been two days since you arrived in Icaria, but you did notice the change in Taeyong’s behaviour. He was more lively, he was playful, he wasn’t the same boy that looked troubled when he stepped inside the airport, but now it was all worth it, it really was amazing how much he changed into someone bright and happy, not the troubled one that always looked as if he was carrying the whole world on his shoulders. Taeyong was a happier and healthier version of himself.
“I’m so happy to hear that Yongie, you deserve nothing but happiness,” you said smiling softly and he stood up and sat down next to you, taking your hand in his he smiled at you saying,
“Thank you, thank you for everything, for being so patient with me and bearing with me through tough times, I don’t deserve you. But I’m willing to prove to you every day that I’m worthy of having you to myself. Thank you so much, Y/N.”
Taeyong planted a soft kiss on your lips and you smiled into the kiss pulling him closer to you, you had your hand on his cheek while his hands held your waist firmly. After a few seconds, you pulled away resting your foreheads against each other
“Don’t say that Yongie, if anything I don’t deserve you, you’re too good for me, but I can’t help it, I love you,” you said and he made a sound of disagreement hugging you.
“No, you’re good for me! Stop saying you aren’t! And I love you too, polyagapiménos, so much.” he whispered and you hugged him tightly.
You two continued your lovely picnic and after finishing the food, you packed your things and decided to take a walk along the streets of Icaria. You wanted to see the Temple of Artemis, but unfortunately, it was too late so you decided to explore the island more. You were shy under the gazes of the people who looked at you and Taeyong, they were looking at you with a smile on their faces admiring the love between you and Taeyong. You two were unaware of the pair of red eyes that were watching you, not knowing those pair of eyes were going to turn your life upside down.

Heracles raced inside the temple where he was meant to meet Zeus who didn’t know what his son wanted of him. Heracles waited anxiously inside the temple until he saw an old man entering the temple, it was Zeus in disguise. Zeus watched his son running over to him, as the door closed giving them privacy to talk freely as they wished without anyone interrupting them. Zeus could see the troubled look on Heracles’s face, something was definitely wrong, he hopes it’s not about the rumours that are going around, this will unleash hell upon them.
“Son, what is that you wanted to speak to me urgently about?” Zeus asked with authority clear in his voice. Heracles looked at his godly father not knowing where to start or how to tell him the news which made Zeus even more anxious.
“He’s here, Icarus has returned once again.” Heracles declared as Zeus’ eyes widened in fear, the rumours were true after all, he should’ve known that. “Not this only, Hades knows of his arrival,” Heracles finished staring at the ground in shame.
Zeus looked at him and screamed in rage, causing a loud clap of thunder to interrupt the silence of the night. He stared at Heracles a million scenarios running through his head. His son failed at the task he said he would be responsible for, he gave the fallen boy time until he finally decided to resurrect him, on one condition, to be away from Greece and make sure he never knows what his past was. Zeus knows very well that he shouldn’t have resurrected him, he shouldn’t even have interfered in Hades’ business. His soul was meant to be in the underworld all these years, but he took his soul from the underworld giving him the chance of another life. But the damage is done already and he needed to think quick.
“I knew this was a bad idea from the beginning, you now understand what I meant when I said not to meddle in Hades’ business?! This is all because of you!” Zeus growled and Heracles didn’t dare to look at his father, he just listened to him. “How did you know about it?” Zeus asked once more his patience running out.
“Hermes, he received a message from Apollo,” Heracles replied and Zeus breathed deeply.
Hades will never let the boy go again, he would do whatever it takes to have his soul and take it back to the underworld where it was meant to be from the moment his body hit the sea. Zeus have to be quick, he needed to act before Hades, he had to reach the boy first before a war breaks out. Zeus looked at Hercules, having already made up his mind.
“Hades is not going to let him get away this time, we have to reach the boy before Hades does. Look for him, bring him to me. I will let Artemis talk to Moirai.” Zeus ordered and Heracles nodded and before he could leave the temple, the gates of the temples opened.
A man in his mid-twenties burst through the gates, he had black hair and creamy skin, he looked like he ran a marathon, his clothes and hair were messy. But he couldn’t be blamed, he has been flying around for two days and the news he has couldn’t be postponed nor it had to wait. He raced towards the god and the demi-god, bowing to his father.
“Hermes? What is it?” Zeus asked as the messenger of gods turned to look at Heracles first before darting his eyes anxiously to Zeus and told him the news they wished they didn’t want to hear.
“Hades, he found the boy.”

You and Taeyong arrived in front of the hotel after a long night of wandering around Icaria. Your smile was wide the whole time you and Taeyong were walking hand in hand in the streets of Icaria, you also bought a lot of souvenirs for your friends. You bought Doyoung and his wife a nice souvenirs as well, you know how much Doyoung loves reading about ancient Greek and Greek mythology, so you bought him a book with the stories of the Greek gods and the Titans. As for Jiwoo, his wife, you brought her a necklace with Athena’s symbol to represent her wisdom.
Taeyong stopped when he saw a man that seemed a little familiar to him, his eyes widened when remembered where he saw this man, he saw him in his dreams. This couldn’t be a coincidence, Taeyong turned to look at you, “I have to do something very quick okay? Wait for me inside, I will be back.” he said before running along the streets trying to follow the man from his dreams.
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion but decided to wait for him inside the hotel and ask him later about what he had to do. Turning around, you hit a hard chest and tumbled backwards but a hand caught your arm and quickly pulled you back. You opened your eyes ready to thank whoever saved you from falling, and also apologise for bumping into them. Looking up, you saw a man that was around your age, he was Asian, tall and very handsome, he had black hair that was combed nicely away from his eyes that were a dark shade of brown.
“Are you alright, ma’am?” he asked in English and you looked at him smiling gratefully, slightly blushing.
“Yes, thank you so much. I’m sorry for bumping into you, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” you apologised and he smiled shaking his head.
“That’s alright. Are you here alone?” he asked and you shook your head.
“No, I’m here with my boyfriend, he is just doing something and will be back,” you replied and he nodded. The atmosphere turned a little awkward because he was still standing there and you were a little uncomfortable by it.
“I see, what brings you here to Icaria? I’m here for my friend’s wedding,” the stranger said and you looked at him shocked.
“Really? Funny, this is also why we are here, are your friends by any chance called Johnny and Yuri?” you asked and he nodded enthusiastically smiling.
“Yes, wait, you’re invited to their wedding too?” he asked and you smiled nodding. It didn’t surprise you to meet someone from the wedding here, this was the best hotel on the island and the man looked rich.
“Yes I am, My boyfriend and I are good friends with them, what about you?” you asked and he smiled again.
“I’m Johnny’s friend from the states, he is my best friend.” he said and you smiled shaking his hand.
“I never caught your name,” you asked and he smiled.
“My name’s Jaehyun,” he said and you smiled back.
“My name’s Y/N, nice to meet you Jaehyun,” you said and you were unaware of the wicked smile on his lips as he said.
“Trust me, the pleasure is all mine.”
***
Taeyong came back to the hotel, his shoulders slumped, he was disappointed, he did meet the man from his dreams and talked to him, but they couldn’t communicate because Taeyong doesn’t know any Greek. But from what he understood is that the man was a normal fisherman, after knowing this Taeyong apologised to him then left. Taeyong still couldn’t understand why he dreamt of this man, what did his dreams wanted him to know? He was so tired and just wanted to be normal, was that too much to ask?
Taeyong entered the hotel and saw you sitting with Jaehyun talking, Taeyong raised his eyebrow in jealousy and confusion not knowing who this man was and he doesn’t know how you know this man. His eyes met yours and he smiled when he saw your eyes light up as you walked over to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged you back kissing your forehead his eyes locked with Jaehyun to let him know that you belonged to him.
“Where did you go? I have been waiting for you too long,” you said slightly whining causing him to laugh softly at your cuteness.
“I’ll tell you when we go to our suite,” he replied then pulled away from you and looked at Jaehyun again. “Who is this you were talking to?” Taeyong asked and you looked back at the man sitting on the sofa playing on his phone.
“This is Jaehyun, he is a friend of Johnny from the states,” you replied and he furrowed his eyebrows, confused than ever.
“Johnny never mentioned him though,” Taeyong muttered under his breath as he walked over to the man wanting to know who he truly was. You stopped in front of Jaehyun who stood up smiling politely at Taeyong.
“Jaehyun, this is my boyfriend, Taeyong. Taeyong, this is Jaehyun, Johnny’s friend,” you said and Jaehyun held out his hand for Taeyong to shake.
“Hello, it’s very nice to meet you,” Jaehyun said smiling, Taeyong looked down at his hand not trusting him one bit. Jaehyun let his hand fall to his side, standing there awkwardly.
Taeyong studied his demeanour, he watched how he kept eye contact with him, Taeyong didn’t trust him, and he couldn’t understand why you believed him, he could be a killer for all he knows or someone dangerous. He didn’t like his aura at all, he seemed dangerous, he seemed like he couldn’t be trusted.
“Strange, Johnny never mentioned you,” Taeyong said, Jaehyun smiled slightly as you watched the tension grow between the two men.
“He didn’t mention you either,” Jaehyun replied looking at Taeyong up and down. “You can call him if you don’t trust me, go ahead, do it.” Jaehyun challenged causing Taeyong to glare at him.
Taeyong didn’t shy away from his offer, he took out his phone and dialled Johnny keeping eye contact with Jaehyun as he held you tightly close to him, afraid that if he blinked Jaehyun would hurt you. You looked at Taeyong who was bothered by Jaehyun’s presence, you rubbed his arm comfortingly trying to calm his nerves down. After another ring, Johnny finally picked up his phone.
“Hi, Taeyong! How are you, man?” Johnny greeted and you looked at Taeyong who was still staring at Jaehyun.
“Hi Johnny, listen quick question, do you know anybody that goes by the name Jaehyun?” Taeyong asked not wanting to wait another moment.
“Yeah, Jung Jaehyun, he is my friend from the states, he is staying at the same hotel you and Y/N are staying in, why? Did you meet him?” Johnny clarified and Taeyong watched a smile appear on Jaehyun’s lips as he took the phone from him.
“Hey man, your friend Taeyong here doesn’t trust me and needed confirmation, are you sure he is your friend?” Jaehyun said still looking at Taeyong.
“Hey Jae, yes he is my friend. Now, would you stop bothering me? Yuri is calling for me so we can continue watching the movie. If you want you could come with us sightseeing tomorrow what do you say?” Johnny asked and Jaehyun smiled satisfied.
“Sure why not, see you tomorrow.” Jaehyun said hanging up and gave the phone back to Taeyong. “Are you sure now? Nice to meet you again, Y/N.” Jaehyun said smiling at you then left to go to his room.
Taeyong relaxed the moment Jaehyun left you two, he turned to look at you and wrapped his arms around your shoulder kissing your cheek. You wrapped your arm around his waist, rubbing his back and he smiled at you. Despite Johnny confirming his doubts, he still couldn’t trust Jaehyun and didn’t intend on doing so.

The two of you went to your room, you were changing your clothes while Taeyong sat on the bed deep in thought. You watched how he was staring into the distance with that troubled look you know on his face, something definitely happened, he was okay before he left to do whatever he wanted to do. Remembering this, you sat down on the bed and cuddled into Taeyong who wrapped his arms around your body out of habit.
“So, what was that thing you wanted to do before you left me at the hotel entrance?” you asked and Taeyong looked at you sighing deeply.
“I don’t know how this happened, but I saw a man from my nightmare, the one that always yells the name I can’t remember. I saw him and tried to talk to him but it was in vain for two reasons, the first one is because he doesn’t know English and the second one was unreasonable, he was a normal fisherman, but again, why would I dream of him?” Taeyong said sighing and you sat on his lap swiping his hair away from his face.
You know it was taking a toll on him, all of this what he was going through, you wished you could help him somehow, to take away his pain, to give him the happiness he deserves. Taeyong didn’t deserve to suffer, he is an angel, and life was being unfair and cruel to him. Taeyong sighed when you ran your fingers through his hair, massaging his scalp while he held your waist, the gesture never failed to calm him down. You smiled happy to see him trying to relax, you leaned down kissing his soft lips, mumbling.
“Yongie, that’s alright, you’re not the first one to dream of someone you’ve never seen before then met them. Life is nothing but a cycle of coincidence, you were destined to meet this man sooner or later,” you whispered pecking his lips again, “Relax for me, will you? Just focus on me,” you said and Taeyong with his eyes still closed, he smiled.
Letting out a squeal when your back was met with the mattress and Taeyong on top of you, he trapped you in his arms, putting them next to your head, you smiled up at him and he leaned down to kiss your lips passionately. You kissed him back holding his neck, after a moment the two of you pulled away. Taeyong looked at you, his eyes were dark.
“Don’t get anywhere near that Jaehyun, I don’t trust him,” Taeyong said and you bit back a smile, thinking of how attractive he is when he is jealous.
“Wasn’t planning to, I also don’t trust him, I tried not to talk to him after I learned that he is friends with Johnny and Yuri, but I felt embarrassed because he kept talking so I had no other option.” you explained and Taeyong chuckled shaking his head.
“You’re too nice sometimes,” he said looking deeply into your eyes.
“I love you Taeyong, you don’t have to worry about anyone taking me away from you,” you assured and Taeyong stared down at you feeling his heart skip a beat.
“You promise not to leave me?” he whispered unsure which caused you to furrow your eyebrows, adjusting yourself so you were sitting on the bed with him on his knees in front of you, you hugged him tightly not knowing where this was all coming from.
“I promise, you know I can never be without you, I wouldn’t survive. I love you Taeyong, too much to let you go.” you said burying your face in his chest as he wrapped his arms around you.
Taeyong felt this bang in his chest and he doesn’t know why just the thought of you leaving him made his heart sink, his brain cannot comprehend the thought of losing you, he refused to do so. How can he accept the idea of losing you? He will never accept it, even if he did lose you, he will do everything in his power to return you again.
Taeyong pulled away from you, kissing your lips feverishly, you kissed him back with the same passion as he pushed you on your back getting on top of you again. You wrapped your arms around his neck bringing him closer, feeling his tongue poking your lips, you opened your mouth allowing him to explore it.
Your tongues danced together in a French kiss before he pulled away to take off his shirt. You did the same thing and his lips travelled to your neck, sucking and biting on it, the purple marks slowly forming on your skin, decorating it beautifully.
“Mine,” Taeyong whispered against your neck, as your fingers tangled in his hair pulling on it lightly, not wanting to hurt him and whispered.
“Yours, only yours to savour.”
After hearing this, Taeyong couldn’t stop himself from holding back, he let himself go as he took all of yours and his clothes off, not waiting any longer to make love to you. He rubbed his crotch against your core, satisfied with hearing your beautiful moans filling his ear. He looked down at you in lust capturing your lips in a kiss, he poured all his emotions into the kiss as he slid inside your vagina, letting out a long moan, he waited a moment for you to adjust to him.
Tapping his shoulder, Taeyong took that as a sign to start moving, thrusting his hips inside you, you let out another beautiful moan as you felt him inside you. Picking up his pace, Taeyong felt you clench around him causing him to let out a beautiful moan, your hands wandered around his body and you sank your nails in his back decorating it with scratches. Taeyong hissed from the pain mixed with pleasure that almost made him lose his mind.
He leaned down to the valley of your breasts kissing and sucking marks on them, you let out a loud moan the pleasure overwhelming you and felt yourself close to your climax. Taeyong felt you tighten around him and he picked up his pace feeling like he was getting closer to the edge, he took one of your breasts in his mouth and continued to thrust into you. He hit a spot that made you see stars, you gripped his shoulders tightly looking at him lustily.
“Baby, I’m close,” you whispered and he cursed at the pet name getting to him, his thrusts inside you became more powerful, as he chased his orgasm. “Oh my God, I love you so much.” you said as he brought you in for a sloppy kiss and you two moaned against each other lips.
“I love you too.”
Taeyong looked at you as your walls clamped around him and you let out a cry of euphoria releasing the pit inside your stomach, Taeyong moaned at the sight of you as he also let go of himself, his semen paintings your walls. Taeyong rode out your highs and collapsed on top of you.
You were breathing heavily with a blessed smile on your face, Taeyong pulled himself out of you causing you to let out a groan at the loss of contact, as he fell on the bed next to you. You never felt close to him as much as he was inside you. You two fit together like puzzle pieces, you looked at Taeyong who had his eyes closed, you smiled kissing his shoulders. He opened his eyes and turned to look at you, you snuggled into his chest.
“That was amazing, I really needed it,” you said and he laughed softly kissing your hair, wrapping his arm around your body.
“Glad I could help. God you’re gonna be the death of me,” he whispered and you kissed his lips again, “I love you.” Taeyong whispered and you smiled cuddling into his chest again closing your eyes mumbling.
“I love you.”
***
Taeyong sighed for the millionth time as he sat beside you, annoyed by the man sitting in front of him, Jaehyun, he watched as he joked around with all of you, throwing you and his friends into a fit of laughter. It’s not that he wasn’t funny, it seemed as if he was trying hard to impress you, Taeyong isn’t stupid, he saw the way he was eying you and shamelessly flirted with you, Taeyong had to hold in his laughter when Jaehyun asked who was the most handsome person in here and you said your boyfriend’s name. He didn’t know why Johnny invited him in the first place, Johnny told him it was going to be the four of them, but Jaehyun tagging along killed all the fun for him.
“Love? Are you okay?”
Taeyong awoke from his daze by your sweet voice, he smiled and nodded, taking your hand in his. You drew circles on the back of his hand relaxing him a little, his eyes drifted to Yuri who spoke up.
“It’s almost noon, where should we go next?” Yuri asked and Johnny turned to look at Jaehyun, much to Taeyong’s confusion.
“Our finest tour guide, where should we head to next?” Johnny asked and Jaehyun smiled.
“I suggest you should check out the Icarian sea, the view there is so relaxing,” Jaehyun said and you furrowed your eyebrows looking at Taeyong concern written all over your face.
“I don’t think this is a good idea, Taeyong doesn’t like water at all,” you said your voice firm to prove your point.
“We won’t swim or anything like that, it will be like having a meal there or watching the sunset. What? Can’t handle the sight of the sea?” Jaehyun asked teasing a bit causing Taeyong to glare at him, but instead of answering him, he turned to look at you with a smile.
“That’s fine love, don’t worry about me,” he said and you shook your head refusing to let him do something that might cause him a panic attack or anything.
“No, Taeyong! They can go if they want I don’t care, but you’re not doing something that might make you uncomfortable just because you’re shy to refuse!” you whispered to him and he sighed patting your hand.
“It’s alright I promise, I can sit by the beach that’s fine. Come on, Johnny and Yuri are counting on us,” he tried to persuade you and you looked at him in uncertainty.
This was going to be bad, you just know it, was Taeyong really risking all of this so your friends won’t be upset? Was he really willing to have a panic attack just because they wanted to see the sea? Was he even ready to face his fear? You will never know.
You looked at him in doubt one last time and saw how he was looking at you, you were unsure of what to do, this didn’t sound good in your opinion, and you know Taeyong knows this as well, but because was too much of a nice man to actually say anything else. You sighed and nodded heavily hoping that nothing wouldn’t go wrong.
“Fine then, but if I sense the smallest change in your behaviour, we’re out.” you said sternly and Taeyong smiled kissing your forehead nodding.
Jaehyun rolled his eyes and stood up causing Johnny and Yuri to stand up as well. He looked at you and Taeyong both men having a glaring contest. The atmosphere was thick with awkwardness, as Johnny and Yuri looked at each other in discomfort. Jaehyun broke the eye contact saying.
“Come on, we don’t have all day.”
***
Maybe this was a bad idea like you said, but Taeyong chose to keep his mouth shut as not to make you even more worried than you already were. His heart was beating loudly that he was afraid that anybody would hear it, he doesn’t know why he was feeling like this, that wasn’t a normal way to feel upon going to the sea. Yes, he has a phobia of it, but the feelings he felt were more like being scared to face something he thought he almost forgot.
The way to the Icarian Sea looked familiar, it was as if he saw it before, the sky was bright and the sun was glowing greatly, it reminded him of a memory that he couldn’t quite put his hand on it. Taeyong could feel your eyes on him, but he kept on staring at the window pretending as if he wasn’t about to die of fear.
The car stopped in front of a fancy looking restaurant, he furrowed his eyebrows getting out of the car, helping you as well then his eyes scanned the area around him taking in his surroundings. The air smelt differently, the wind picked up as if welcoming him. He looked around as Jaehyun led you towards the cornish where you would be able to see the sea clearly. You looked to your right to see how tensed Taeyong were, you held his hand and he looked at you smiling softly trying not to make it obvious that he was nervous. Jaehyun stopped in front of the sea looking at it smiling and turned around to face you again.
“Take a look at how beautiful the sea is, admire it.” Jaehyun said and you looked at the sea, the water was clear and the sun was shining brightly causing the blue of it to glow.
Taeyong looked at the sea and felt nauseous, his mind flashed hundreds of memories all at once, his head hurt a lot and he let go of your hand rubbing his temples while letting out noises of pain, he fell to the ground and screamed. He saw the same vision that haunted him back home, the sun hitting his face, melting the feathers as he fell from the sky, how he saw the troubled look on the face of the man who looks like he was his father. How he fell deep into the sea, the water consuming him filling his lungs cutting his breathing completely, how in the end he died tragically.
“Taeyong! Love! Please wake up!” you shouted slapping his face gently trying to get him to wake up, Johnny pushed you away and quickly grabbed Taeyong carrying him as they returned to the car asking Jaehyun to drive them to the nearest hospital.
You sat in the backseat holding Taeyong tears streaming down your face ignoring the apologies of Yuri and Johnny. You knew this was going to happen, he didn’t listen to you when you begged him not to go there and look where this got him now. You held his hand tightly pushing his hair away from his face, letting the air cool his body down. You weren’t aware of Jaehyun’s eyes that looked at you from the front mirror, he turned around and stared ahead of him with a calm smile on his face.
He got his answer.

Taeyong heard multiple voices all speaking at once, he wanted to open his eyes but his eyelids were too heavy, he began seeing the same vision he saw before passing out, he shook his head trying to get rid of it. It played through his mind quickly and when he fell into the water, he opened his eyes gasping. He closed his eyes once the light hit it, he opened his eyes slowly blinking letting his eyes adjust to the light. He saw you looking at him with tears in your eyes and he felt bad to be the reason why you were crying.
“What happened? Where am I?” Taeyong asked his voice hoarse, you squeezed his hand kissing his cheek.
“You passed out when you saw the sea, we took you to the hospital to make sure you were okay,” you answered and he closed his eyes remembering what happened.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N, I should’ve listened to you,” he said as he raised his hand wiping your tears, you sniffled leaning into his touch.
The door opened and Johnny entered with Yuri and Jaehyun, they stood behind you and Johnny looked at Taeyong with guilt in his eyes, not knowing what to say. Taeyong smiled to ease his worry, he didn’t want Johnny to blame himself, he was the one to blame, he was too stubborn to listen to anyone, he wanted to prove to himself that he wouldn’t get scared at the sight of the sea. And besides, Jaehyun’s words got to him.
“Taeyong, I’m so sorryـــ” Johnny started but Taeyong quickly cut him off.
“Hey John, it’s okay, I’m fine, really.”
“No Taeyong, we shouldn’t have pushed it, we’re sorry we were insensitive, we’re sorry to you too Y/N,” Yuri said shifting her eyes from Taeyong to you and you smiled.
“That’s alright, Yuri. We accept your apology,” Taeyong said and Yuri smiled at him.
Jaehyun watched what was happening silently analysing it, he felt Johnny nudge him, he nodded towards Taeyong asking him to say something, after all Jaehyun was the one who offered to go to the Icarian Sea, he sighed and looked at Taeyong who was staring at him dead in the eyes as if he knew what was up. Jaehyun held eye contact with him for a moment until he finally decided to break the silence.
“I’m sorry, man, I didn’t know you were that scared of the sea,” he said slightly mocking and that caused you to glare at him. He then turned to Taeyong dropping the question he longed to ask for so long.
“What did you remember when you saw the sea that led you to passing out?”
Taeyong’s eyes widened, he wasn’t expecting Jaehyun to ask that, a million thoughts ran through his head as everyone seemed to wait for his answer, he looked lost and you noticed that, Jaehyun looked at him with a satisfied smile knowing he had no choice but to answer. You decided to take matters into your own hands when Taeyong seemed to forget how to speak.
“When he was young, Taeyong almost drowned and was saved at the last minute, he is traumatised by the sea. That’s why upon seeing the sea and the people swimming there he fainted because he remembered that awful accident.” you answered and Jaehyun turned to you glaring as if he knew you were lying, you looked at him with a fierce gaze daring him to prove you wrong.
Taeyong looked at you relieved, happy that you came up with such a good lie, although you didn’t know what he saw, but what he sees in his dreams and his irrelevant phobias only for the two of you to share, not letting anyone else interfere. Taeyong looked at Jaehyun who excused himself and left the room. Johnny and Yuri seemed convinced by the answer and they decided not to push it and ask any more questions.
“When can I leave?” Taeyong asked and you looked at him smiling.
“Any time you wish, darling,” you said and he smiled kissing the back of your hand.
“I will go make a check out of the hospital, come on Yuri.” Johnny said taking his fiancée’s hand and left the room.
You turned to look at Taeyong who was staring at the ceiling his mind occupied by thousands of thoughts, you rubbed his arm comforting him, knowing that wasn’t easy for him. You wanted to know what he saw, was it the same nightmare he used to have before travelling to Icaria? Or was it something else?
“Yongie,” you started and he looked at you with a devastating gaze that broke your heart, “What did you see, polyagapiménos?” you asked and he melted when he heard the pet name.
Taeyong didn’t want to tell you, he didn’t want you to worry about him, he wanted to know what his visions mean by himself, he wanted to be sure of them. He couldn’t deal with the constant worry of being a freak that had phobias of the most ridiculous things, he needed to be sure that he was still sane and not on the verge of losing his mind, and that’s what he was planning to do once he leaves the hospital. So, he looked at you with a smile shaking his head, pushing a strand of your hair behind your ear, then he said.
“It’s nothing, love, don’t worry about me.”
***
Taeyong watched as your chest rises and falls slowly, indicating that you were asleep. He untangled himself from your arms, as he left the bed and went to sit in the living room. He opened his laptop and began his research. Like he had promised, he was going to be the one that solves his own mystery. He wasn’t going to ask anyone for help, he was going to do this his way. He opened Google and searched for his first phobia, the phobia of the sun.
“Heliophobia refers to intense, sometimes irrational fear of the sun. Some people with this condition are also afraid of bright, indoor light. The word heliophobia has its root in the Greek word helios, which means sun. For some people, heliophobia may be caused by extreme anxiety about getting skin cancer.” Taeyong read out loud.
But that wasn’t his case, he wasn’t scared of the sun in fear of getting skin cancer, he didn’t know why he feared it but he didn’t fear it because of the results he got. He sighed and wrote down his second fear, the fear of the sea.
“Thalassophobia, or a fear of the ocean, is a specific phobia that can negatively affect your quality of life. A negative or past traumatic event can also trigger a deep fear of oceans. Traumatic experiences of being frightened while swimming or almost drowning are also leading causes of thalassophobia.” Taeyong read again.
That made a little sense, yes he feared it because he was scared that he was going to drown even though he never stepped a foot in the water. Taeyong decided to go for his third phobia, his fear of heights.
“Acrophobia is an excessive fear of heights and manifests as severe anxiety. A person could have an attack just walking up stairs or climbing a ladder. Sometimes the fear is so great a person can’t move. Acrophobia can create a dangerous situation for someone who has it. Acrophobia sometimes develops in response to a traumatic experience involving heights, such as: falling from a high place. watching someone else fall from a high place. having a panic attack or other negative experience while in a high place.” Taeyong read once more.
Yes, he was scared of falling from a high place, but again he didn’t know how this phobia started. Taeyong was getting confused by every passing and he didn’t know what to do anymore. Putting his head in his hands he thought about what else to write in the search engine. He remembered what happened to him when he arrived at the Icarian Sea, he jerked towards the laptop and wrote down the words in the search engine.
“The Icarian Sea is a subdivision of the Mediterranean Sea that lies between the Cyclades and Asia Minor. It is described as the part of the Aegean Sea to the south of Chios, to the east of the Eastern Cyclades and west of Anatolia. It contains the islands of Samos, Cos, Patmos, Leros, Fournoi Korseon and Icaria.” Taeyong said and he grew confused.
That was it? He scrolled down until he stumbled upon an article that its title said, ‘The legend behind the Icarian Sea’. Taeyong looked at the link confused but clicked it because the curiosity got the best of him. He began reading the article until he got to a part that caught all of his attention.
“Icarian Sea. Body of water off the island of Crete, named after Icarus who fell here after soaring too near the sun on wings of feathers and wax.” Taeyong read silently and he felt the same pain he felt when he was at the sea.
It was a little bearable and he told himself to be strong, he wrote down the name of Icarus and waited for the results to come. He clicked on the first link as he began to read the article silently, his headache increasing by the passing seconds.
“Icarus was a minor character in Greek Mythology, famous for not surviving the transition from boyhood to manhood. He was the son of Daedalus, an accomplished inventor, who produced an ingenious labyrinth on the island of Cnossus for Minos, the king of Crete. Even Daedalus could not find a way out of his maze. Sometime after building it, Daedalus fell into disfavour with the king of Crete and was condemned to live the rest of his life inside the labyrinth. Because he was his father’s son, Icarus faced the same fate.”
Taeyong’s mind began flashing him some memories that he has never seen before, he didn’t know if he has seen these memories before in his dreams or it was really a reality. He closed his eyes and opened them again continuing to read the article although he found it hard with his weak eyes and strong headache.
“Icarus and his father were trapped. Ever the inventor, Daedalus built wings of feathers and wax to escape. In theory, the wings would allow Daedalus and Icarus to fly above the labyrinth and off the island to freedom. Just before their flight, Daedalus warned his son to be careful. If he flew too low, his wings would get wet in the ocean; if he flew too high, the sun would melt the wax and the wings would disintegrate.”
Taeyong could see that scene but it was blurred, he saw a boy in his twenties talking to a man that seemed to be his father. The boy turned around and he sensed some of his features, he was the spitting image of him, he had the same eyes, hair colour, nose, jawline, height, and even the same built figure of him. He continued reading and the headache of his reached its peak.
“Icarus took off with all intentions of following his father’s sage advice. Away they flew, escaping the labyrinth. Like any adolescent boy, Icarus struggled with parental advice. He found flight awkward at first, but learned quickly and soon flew with the attributes of adolescenceــhis physical strength made up for his lack of coordination and balance. Also, like many adolescents, Icarus moved rapidly from ungainliness to false prowess. Drunk with his newfound power, he soared higher in the sky, ignoring his father’s warning. Daedalus looked around in fright and could not find his son. He peered down at the ocean and saw a small cluster of feathers floating on the water. Icarus had soared towards the sun, his wax melted and he fell to his death into the Icarian Sea.”
That was the last thing Taeyong read before he passed out on the floor. This time instead of the blurred vision he usually saw, he saw the real vision, the vision that was crystal clear.
The sky was clear, the clouds were decorating it beautifully, the birds were flying away their wings making the most peaceful sound, the sound of freedom. Looking beneath him, he saw a man in his mid-fifties flying with his arms extended and he wore artificial wings, that was his father, Daedalus, he looked at his arms and saw that they were also extended as he flew by the artificial wings he wore just like his father.
He saw himself confidently flying high in the sky, he felt the sunlight hitting his face as he felt like a God, he looked up and saw the sun right in front of him. He challenged himself and flew higher and higher, but suddenly the feathers fell off from his wings and his breath hitched in his throat.
“Icarus!”
He kept flapping his wings but soon realized that he had no feathers left and that he was only flapping his featherless arms, he was holding onto the wood where the feathers were once placed for dear life. He knows he should’ve listened to his father, he shouldn’t have flown too close to the sun.
He fell into the sea, he didn’t know how to swim, and as a result, the water entered his lungs filling them, and he felt as if they were burning. He was scared of the idea of dying. He tried to return to the surface, but it was all in vain, he saw his own life flashes before his eyes, unfortunately, it was short, soon enough he let himself go letting the darkness consume him, with one thought on his mind.
He shouldn’t have flown too close to the sun.
Taeyong opened his eyes gasping as he sat up quickly, he looked around him as he started crying. He got his memories of his past life back, he now knows what the visions he kept seeing meant, he now understood his fears, the man he met and thought he was from his dreams, that man was a clone of his father. He was moral for all the arrogant and overconfident people who were blinded by their ego. What happened to him was taught in schools and it was a lesson that was narrated throughout history.
You were woken up by the loud sobs of Taeyong, startled you ran towards the living room and saw him on the floor hugging his knees close to his chest as he rocked back and forth crying his eyes out.
“Oh my God! Taeyong! What happened?!” you asked and hugged him, his body was as cold as ice and you grew worried. Taeyong pushed you away as he stood up clutching his hair tightly in his hands.
“I know what’s wrong with me.” he said and you looked at him confused before noticing his laptop open on an article. When you read the title your eyes widened looking at him in disbelief. Taeyong straightened his back as he declared.
“I am Icarus, the son of Daedalus.”
Once the words left his mouth, a crashing sound was heard, you jumped in fear and Taeyong grabbed you pushing you behind his back. He looked from the peephole and saw people wearing black hoods. His eyes widened as he stepped back and looked around quickly thinking of a way out. He went to the balcony and saw there was no other way but to jump. All of sudden, someone appeared in the thin air as he stood in front of you.
“Kun? What the hell are you doing here?! And how the hell did you appear out of nowhere?!” you asked when you saw your brother’s friend standing in front of you.
“No time for this now, Y/N. We have to get you somewhere safe, Hades knows of your existence, Zeus wants to meet you.” Kun said saying those words to Taeyong.
He held out his arms for you both to hold onto, you quickly understood what was happening and held Kun’s arm. Taeyong didn’t understand what was happening but Kun looked at him sternly.
“There’s no time Icarus.”
Upon hearing his real name, he grabbed onto Kun’s arm as he teleported you somewhere safe. Just as soon as you disappeared with Kun, Hades burst through the doors looking for the lost soul that was stolen from him a long ago. He let out a scream of frustration refusing to believe that he was tricked twice saying.
“I promise to find you, and when I do, I will make sure you never leave the gates of the underworld ever again, Icarus son of Daedalus.”
***
Taeyong found himself in front of a temple he has never seen before, he looked to his side and saw Kun helping you up. He rushed over to you clutching you close making sure you weren’t hurt, you smiled assuring him you were okay and then looked at the temple in front of you gasping causing Taeyong to raise his eyebrow in confusion.
“Artemis’ Temple.” you whispered and Kun smiled nodding.
He motioned for the two of you to follow him inside the temple where you saw a beautiful woman inside with two other men. Taeyong inspected the temple, it was one of the greatest temples he ever saw, the moon was shining brightly illuminating the temple, he noticed the animals outside the temple like they were guarding it. He looked at the woman who smiled once she saw him, she was a young woman, beautiful and vigorous, wearing a short costume that leaves her legs free. She had a bow on her back, she was also wearing a lunar crescent on her brow.
The second man was an old man, with long curly hair and a beard. Despite being old, he looked strong and demanding, like he ruled the world. Taeyong turned to look at the third man who was staring at him the moment he stepped his foot inside the temple. He was a muscular grown man with a beard, his hands and feet were large. he was also wearing a lion skin garment with a lion’s head still attached, serving him as some sort of hood.
“Hermes, you are late.” the older man said and Kun hurried to him apologising, your eyes widened knowing who they were.
“Icarus, you are still alive.” the muscular man said hugging Taeyong tightly causing him to feel awkward, Taeyong was stiff and didn’t know what to do. He pulled away from him and looked at him shocked, “You don’t know me? I am Heracles, I carried you the moment you fell into the water and was the one to take you to Zeus to let him give you a second chance.” Heracles explained.
Taeyong blinked, so this man was Heracles, and the older man was Zeus, the God of thunder, and the woman must be Artemis, Goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation and of chastity and childbirth, and this was her temple. Before Taeyong got a chance to reply, Heracles looked behind him staring directly at you causing you to feel small under his gaze. Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows as Heracles walked over to you.
“Aren’t you the witch that I met on my way to bury Icarus and told me that he deserves a second chance and warned me from Hades?” Heracles asked and all the eyes were on you.
You looked at Artemis and read her gaze, taking a deep breath you changed into your true form. The young witch with a black hood that Heracles met in the forest centuries ago.
“I’m Y/N, I’m a witch from Goddess Hecate’s army, I was the one that stole Icarus’ soul from the underworld under the orders of God Zeus.” you declared bravely.
Taeyong felt like he was about to faint, that was too much for him to comprehend, he couldn’t believe that his sweet, graceful girlfriend is a witch, the same witch that saved his life. He looked at you and you avoided his gaze, you weren’t ready to be confronted, but you had no other choice. Taeyong stepped in front of you his eyes held many emotions causing you to feel bad.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Taeyong whispered and you looked at him with tears filling your eyes.
“I couldn’t, I didn’t want to risk your safety, Zeus made me swear to never let you know the truth because Hades was after you for years.” you explained and he shook his head.
“That’s not true! If you really cared about my safety why didn’t you stop us from going here?!” he asked and you looked at him with fire in your eyes.
“Who do you think was the one giving you nightmares? I wanted to stop you from going but not making myself a suspect. I wanted you to take that decision yourself, but I failed because you longed to go back home.” you said and he stared at you not believing his ears.
All this time, his constant suffering from the nightmares was because of you? You gave him those nightmares to scare him? Why would you do that? What has he ever done to you? Taeyong had so many questions, what did he do wrong for you to repay him like this? Why did you even save him in the first place if you were going to make him suffer?
“Why did you save me? You could’ve just let me die, it would’ve been better for me,” Taeyong whispered and you looked at the ground not wanting him to see your tears you replied weakly.
“Because I love you.” your eyes met his soft brown ones, and he started crying with you.
“I saw you every day at the castle of Minos, I saw you when you were locked in the tower with your father, I saw you when you flew too close to the sun and fell to your death and I couldn’t do anything about it because I can’t interfere in Moirai’s fate or else I would be doomed. So, I protected you until Heracles came to bury you, I knew Hades would have you trapped in the underworld without resurrecting you and I couldn’t let that happen, so I convinced Heracles to take you to Zeus so he can resurrect you later and I went to the underworld and stole your soul. This is why Hades is after you. I waited centuries for you so I can finally be able to be with you and away from Hades. Believe me, Taeyong, I did all of this for you, ” you said your tears not stopping once.
Taeyong couldn’t believe you did all this for him, he felt bad about thinking you were a monster, you just loved him and was the reason why he got another chance in life. He was supposed to be rotting in the underworld with Hades, but no, you went through hell and back so he can live again. You did all of this because you love him. Taeyong took your face in his hands placing his soft lips against yours, you kissed him back fiercely holding his face. After a few moments, you pulled away from each other and he kissed your forehead.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered and you nodded. You pulled away from his embrace and turned to look at Artemis who was smiling at you.
“You have to disappear, and her too, your existence is dangerous, Hades won’t stop unless he has you, and we are a little late behind because Hades already knows about you and he will attack any minute.” Zeus said sternly and Taeyong looked at him scared, he didn’t want to go to the underworld and leave you.
“What should we do father?” Heracles asked and Zeus looked at Artemis and she began explaining what she had in mind regarding the situation.
“I have already spoken to Hecate, she said she found a way for Y/N, as for the boy I’m unsure what we should do with him. I have a thought but I’m not sure about it.” Artemis started and before they could ask her what she meant, a roaring sound was heard. They all turned their heads towards the sound, their eyes widened.
“Hades is here, we are too late,” Zeus said.
Bursting through the door of the temple, Hades with his chariot, the same one that he took Persephone on to the underworld. You gasped standing in front of Taeyong who couldn’t believe his eyes and what he was seeing. He was surrounded by the Greek gods all along.
“Jaehyun is Hades?” he whispered and you kept your ground as Jaehyun, or Hades, glared at you.
“Enough games Zeus! Give me the boy back, you do not see me interfering in your business, so why would you interfere in mine?” Hades spoke with authority dripping from his voice that made your skin crawl.
“Wait until his death Hades, he is already alive!” Zeus spoke loudly and Hades laughed shaking his head jumping off his chariot.
“You really think I’m a fool, don’t you? I know what you did Zeus, for your precious son to be happy you went against the absolute rule we put when you divided our roles. Not to interfere into the other’s business, your words, not mine Zeus.” Hades clarified staring into his brother’s eyes.
Taeyong only watched in silence at the chaos he caused. It was true, he shouldn’t have been resurrected from the beginning, his existence caused troubles for everyone and the world was at risk of war. He will never forgive himself if something bad happens to any of his loved ones, especially you. He wanted to protect you just like you protected him before. He knows he stands no chance against Hades, but he is willing to try his best to solve this.
You were scared for Taeyong, you know Zeus would never stop Hades this time, it was too late and Hades was right, he was interfering in his business, and if he did this again, a war would afire between them and the world would end. But you couldn’t let them take Taeyong away from you again, you couldn’t live knowing that his life was ripped from him again.
“I’m not leaving this time without the boy, I’m taking him with me, the underworld where he was meant to be from the beginning.” Hades said coldly, and before Heracles could stand up for Taeyong, Zeus held him back shaking his head.
Hades walked towards Taeyong who stood his grounds looking directly at him not scared of him at all, if he was going to take him then so be it. At least he knows you will be safe. Hades grabbed his arm and was about to leave to his chariot when your voice stopped him.
“I stole his soul.”
You looked at Hades who stared at you with a wicked smile, you looked at Artemis who was watching you intently, stepping up you walked to Hades standing in front of him looking directly at Taeyong.
“I stole his soul from the underworld, I was the one that begged for his resurrection, if anyone here is to be punished then it’s me. Spare his life, take mine instead. After all, I’m the real criminal.” you said shifting your eyes to Hades who had unreadable look on his face.
“No, Y/N, don’t do it!” Taeyong hissed but you ignored him still staring at Hades, you wanted to break into his head, get under his skin.
“If you take him I will steal his soul over and over again, I did it once and I can do it again,” you spoke and Hades glared at you. “Come on Hades, just take the rebel in front of you.” you snapped and he pushed Taeyong to the ground and took your arm.
“You think you can challenge me? You’re nothing but a witch that could easily be stripped from her powers! I will make sure you rot in hell.” Hades promised.
“No, please no! Y/N, why did you do it?! Why?!” Taeyong screamed and you looked at him shaking your head.
Hades watched the two of you intently, he wanted to see the both of you suffer, he wanted to punish the two of you so you could be a lesson to all those who dared to go against him. He looked at Taeyong smirking, he had the perfect idea in mind.
“Don’t think you’re off the hook, Icarus. You are going to the underworld with us, and you will see her when she dies, I will make sure those memories haunt you for what’s left in your life. And when you die, I will make sure you face the same fate as her.” Hades said and you shook your head violently.
You couldn’t let Taeyong see you when you’re pushed into River Styx, the scene will forever haunt him, you remember when you used to go to the underworld when Hecate asked you for tasks, you feared falling into that river, you can still remember the screams of the dead as Charon led you in his ferry to your destiny.
Hades took you and Taeyong both on his chariot as he descended the underworld. You could feel your heart beating loudly against your chest as you found yourself in the underworld. You were used to it, but you couldn’t say the same for Taeyong.
Taeyong looked at the world he entered with terrified eyes, it was nothing like what he thought it would be, it was truly haunting, no one would ever wish to go there. Hades stopped his chariot and he pushed the both of you to the ground making a loud thud, he grabbed you and walked to the cliff where you saw the dead souls swimming in the Styx.
“Watch your beloved Icarus, watch her as she falls to her death, remember that you were the one who was responsible for this, she sacrificed herself so you can live, and now she is about to face her fate,” Hades said and was about to push you off the cliff but the sight of sunshine illuminating the underworld captured his attention.
Taeyong turned towards the light and saw a handsome man entering, he was tall and broad and was wearing laurel leaves. Taeyong gasped when he was finally able to see his face, the surprise was obvious on both of your faces.
“Doyoung!” you cried and he helped Taeyong up who was still shocked at the sight of someone that he thought was your protective, older brother, not the God of the sun.
Upon seeing him, Hades rolled his eyes glaring at him not welcoming the God of the sun. “What are you doing here, Apollo? You know you are not welcomed in the underworld.” Hades spat remembering how he tried multiple times to take away his lover, Persephone.
“Zeus sent me here, I’m the guardian of them both.” Doyoung, or Apollo, said not caring about the lethal tone that Hades used.
“Well, the witch here is sacrificing herself to save Icarus. We have a deal, don’t we?” Hades said holding you by the arm tightly.
Apollo looked shocked upon hearing this, he looked at you not believing what Hades was saying and asked, “What? Y/N? Is that true?”
You just smiled weakly nodding, he tried to reach you but stopped knowing he couldn’t do anything to help you. You turned to look at Hades who wanted nothing more than to throw you in the Styx river, you looked at him eyes burning with tears and said.
“I want to say goodbye.”
Hades rolled his eyes tired of your games, it was your last wish, and because he was generous he was going to let you have it. He pushed you towards Apollo who caught you, you looked up at the God that was your brother your whole life. You were crying because you were never going to see him again, he protected you from Hades all this time with his twin sister, Artemis, he protected Taeyong without you knowing it. You hugged Apollo tightly and cried as he held you.
“Thank you for everything, I’m sorry I couldn’t repay you, I wish I could.” you whispered and he held you tightly.
“You don’t have to thank me, we wouldn’t have made it this far without your intelligence. You’re truly the cleverest witch I have ever stumbled upon. Farewell, dear sister.” Apollo said and you pulled away.
“Farewell brother,” you said before shifting your eyes to Taeyong who was still looking at you crying hard, you looked at Apollo again whispering, “I won’t be there, so please keep him safe.”
You turned to look at Taeyong who scooped you in his arms crying heavily, you cried with him holding onto him tightly. It was unfair, he didn’t get to be with you as he liked, you were supposed to grow old together like he had planned, you were supposed to get married and have kids. He never thought your story would end like this. You protected him all this time and he wanted to repay you for it, but he can’t, because you’re sacrificing yourself to save him one last time, to give him the chance to live instead of the one he lost long ago.
Why couldn’t Zeus interfere to save you? Wasn’t he the God of gods? Didn't everything go as he planned? Why couldn’t he save you because of your nobility? Taeyong hated this, he didn’t want to let you go, he wishes he could steal a time tuner and listen to your words of not coming to Icaria, maybe then you would’ve lived comfortably together and achieved your dream to grow old together.
You were still holding onto Taeyong tightly not wanting to let go, you couldn’t if you wanted to, he was holding onto you for dear life, his tears wetting your dress. You ran your hands through his hair trying to soothe him.
“It’s okay love, you’ll be okay, believe me, you have to let go of me, please Taeyong, listen to me this one last time.” you begged but he shook his head pulling away and took your face in his hands.
He kissed your lips hard claiming you, it was your last kiss and you know it, thus causing your heart to ache and cry more. He brought you closer trying to hide you into him but that couldn’t be done, and he had to face the reality that you were slipping through his fingers easily and in front of his own eyes. He pulled away from you resting his forehead against yours, your tears not stopping once.
“Please, please don’t go, I’m not going to be able to live without you, please Y/N don’t do this, don’t leave me. God! Why can’t you just let us be?!” he cried screaming at Hades who didn’t move an inch and held a bored look on his face. Taeyong let go of you and walked up to him not caring if he was going to be cursed by speaking like this to the God of the underworld.
“You took Persephone a long ago, tell me, what if one day Zeus wakes up and decided to take her away from you? Tell me what would you do? Will you be able to move on from her? Will you be happy knowing that you will never see her again?! Answer me!” Taeyong yelled looking dead in the eyes at Hades who tensed hearing his words.
Persephone has always been a sensitive subject to Hades, he lives in constant fear that one day he will lose her, even if he knows that she loves him. The time she spends away from him to go live with Demeter at Mount Olympus is torture, it didn’t help with what Taeyong was saying because it was summer and she was at Mount Olympus. Hades looked at Taeyong who was still crying but his face was a strong showing that he was willing to fight for the girl he loves until his last breath. Hades turned to look at you again.
“Your time is up.”
Before you know it you were yanked away from Taeyong. Everything seemed to be going in slow-motion, you watched as Taeyong screamed trying to reach you but Apollo held him back, he was looking at you with the same look he held on his face upon admitting his fear of losing you the night before when he made love to you. You cried knowing that you broke your promise of not leaving his side, but not everything can go as planned and you knew it from the day Zeus told you that it was time for the resurrection of Icarus, he warned you that there will be trouble along the way, but because you loved Icarus so much you agreed willingly knowing you were capable of protecting him.
Taeyong watched in pure horror as Hades pushed you into the Styx river, he watched your body fall down in the river as the souls surrounded you sucking you deeper into the river. He lost the ability to breathe when he saw you sinking further and further into the river. His mind flashed him memories of the two of you together, your beautiful face, your eyes, your smile, your hair, the way you looked at him, everything. He couldn’t save you, he lost you forever and he was spending the rest of his life haunted with the memory of you sacrificing yourself for him.
Hades turned around and saw Taeyong on his knees still staring at the river with tears rolling down his face not stopping once. He looked at Apollo who was glaring at him, his hatred towards the God of the underworld growing more and more.
“You shall leave now, there’s nothing for you to be here for. Return when you die.” Hades said as he went to sit on his throne. But he was wrong, he had you, and the one thing that Taeyong needed desperately from the underworld.

Inside the temple, she waited patiently for the guests she expected with her sister, sure she dreaded them, but she had to grant the wish of her brother, and it was the least she can do for him. The story of the sweet sacrifice reached Mount Olympus, some felt nothing, some felt pity, and some admired the witch for her sacrifice, and she was one of those who admired her. Asking her father for help wasn’t easy, she talked to her father to give her permission to interfere knowing fully well she can do something about it and he finally agreed.
“To what do we owe the pleasure?”
Turning around, Persephone saw three beautiful women in front of her, but she knew well that it was just a cover-up for their hideous look. They were the infamous Moirai, the three sisters of fate. Persephone looked at her sister, Artemis who sat patiently waiting for what was to come.
Persephone stood up causing the three women to cower in fear, they knew better not to mess with her, thanks to her husband she was well-respected by other gods, titans and warriors. Persephone stood in front of them and with authority in her voice she said.
“Tell me the fate of the witch who died protecting the boy who flew too close to the sun.”
Everybody knew Icarus, not just because of his tragic story, but how his soul was stolen from the underworld, and now they know him because of the sacrifice the witch made in order for him to be safe and live again. The three sisters looked at each other and showed their true form, three old ugly women.
“The witch is dead, Persephone. There’s nothing to be told about her,” Atropos, one of the sisters who was the cutter of the thread of life spoke. Persephone glared at her growing impatient.
“You know something, and I have an order from Zeus, so I suggest you tell me at once before I take a strong action with you.” Persephone threatened and they looked at each other again in doubt but didn’t want to anger the goddess knowing Hades will punish them for it.
The first sister, Clotho whose job was to spin the thread of life, took out the eye they took from the Graeae and Persephone watched as the eye turned into a small crystal ball and listened to what Clotho had to say.
“The witch never died, her soul refused to leave her body, she was blessed by Aphrodite. From the start when she begged Zeus to give her lover a second chance until this moment. There’s only one way to save her, and Hades has to let her go willingly, if that happened she will reunite with her lover. And if not, her soul will forever be trapped and her body will never leave the Styx river.”
With that being said, the three sisters disappeared from Persephone’s sight, she sighed and turned to look at Artemis who held a sympathetic look on her face sad with the news of her friend’s body trapped in the Styx River. Persephone felt bad for Artemis because she knew the witch never left her side and was loyal to her.
“What are we going to do, Persephone? Hades won’t let her go willingly, you know him better than anyone.” Artemis said her voice soft and calm.
“I know, but she is blessed by Aphrodite, she is Hecate’s warrior and favourite witch, she was your friend, Apollo was her protector, and most importantly, she is admired by me. In front of all these circumstances, Hades might let her go.” Persephone explained thinking of a way to help the witch leave the underworld and reunite with her lover, she looked at Artemis and said.
“Call Hermes, tell him to bring Hecate.”

You think it might have been just normal, boring days passing by, but the truth was those days were torturing years for Taeyong. He lived with the curse of being the only one to remember you, with your disappearance, it seemed as if you never existed. Johnny and Yuri forgot about you, he guessed it might have been because of the curse that was put on them, and he now knows how torturing that curse is. To be the only one to remember you.
The nightmares he used to get disappeared, instead, all his nightmares were about your death and how you fell into that damned river. How your body kept sinking into it like you would never reach the bottom. Apollo, or Doyoung, kept visiting him every day keeping his promise to you to keep him safe, he has to stick to it because you aren’t there to protect Taeyong yourself.
Doyoung to Taeyong was your older brother that he never got along with because he used to intimidate him all the time. But now they were friends, they spent the past three days talking about you, Doyoung talked about how brave and clever you were, the witch that defeated a titan who threatened Artemis.
You were truly blessed by the gods, Hecate blessed you with more powers than the rest of her witches, you were her favourite and you never let her down. Athena blessed you with her wisdom, Aphrodite blessed you with beauty and gave you the power to love unconditionally, Ares blessed you with abilities to make you a great warrior. You were a friend to Artemis and you were loyal to her. Unfortunately, he never got to meet you before, that was until he learnt that your wish of being with Icarus was finally granted, and asked to be your protector to repay you for protecting his twin sister, swearing to her and Zeus to protect you at all costs.
Taeyong loved hearing about your stories, and it made him feel closer to you knowing how great you were, it made him appreciate you more, but it made him miss you terribly. He keeps looking at the photos of the two of you together staring at your face for hours, it always ends up with him crying his eyes out calling for you in hope you will respond to him.
He wished he had more time to with you, you were ripped from him unfairly and he had no saying in it, he wished he met you sooner, he now knows he should appreciate every second because it’s a blessing. Perhaps he should’ve agreed when you told him you would rip the tickets in half, maybe then you wouldn’t have gotten on the plane and went home and stayed safe together.
Taeyong wondered what was your plan, was it to keep him safe and let him enjoy the life he had? Maybe then his dream of marrying you would’ve come true, maybe you had the same plan as him, marrying each other, having kids, growing old together. If he died naturally maybe then you would’ve gone to Hades admitting your crime then let him punish you all he wants, but then you would be happy because you let Taeyong have the life he deserved.
Maybe that was the plan all along, but he had to ruin it by insisting on going to Icaria for the wedding of his best friend despite all the signals and the frightening nightmares you gave him. He hates himself for it, it led him to lose you, the only person that truly loved him, put up with him, comforted him, helped him, took care of him, the only person that was there for him when no one else was. How could he let you go like that?
He remembers that one night when he fell asleep and had a dream of the two of you getting married, he remembered how happy he was to see that dream coming true, but when he woke up he cried because he knows that dream was never going to come true.
Taeyong sat on the chair watching the two lovers in front of him exchanging vows, they were making their dream of marrying each other come true. Taeyong was bitter, he only watched envious they got this chance and he didn’t, he just hoped that they would cherish one another forever.
“I promise to love you forever, be there for you, hold you when you feel down, protect you till my last breath, I love you so much, Yuri.” Johnny said.
Taeyong’s heart clenched as he remembered how he never got to tell you he loved you for the last time. He blinked trying not to show that he was crying because he remembered his lover. From beside him, Doyoung watched the boy who became his friend, suffer from watching the two lovers in front of him declaring their love towards one another in front of all these people. Taeyong watched as the priest announced them a married couple as they kissed.
The cheering around him seemed to die down as he imagined you and him getting married instead of them. Oh how happy he would’ve been, he would kiss in front of all these people every minute to prove that you were his only to cherish and love. But reality hit him hard in the face when the sight of you drowning into the Styx river crossed his mind.
“Come on, you have to go congratulate them,” Doyoung said pulling Taeyong up as they went to the newly married couple.
“Congratulations, Johnny and Yuri, I’m so happy for you guys,” Taeyong said smiling and Johnny smiled back at him.
“Thank you Tae, thanks for coming, I know it must haven’t been easy on you to travel when you have a phobia of flying,” Johnny said and Taeyong gave him a tight-lipped smile shaking his head.
“No, don’t apologise, I’m more than happy to spend this day with you,” he said and Johnny eyed Doyoung who was standing next to Taeyong awkwardly, Taeyong noticed this and smiled, “By the way, this is my friend, Doyoung, he is a therapist and was more than happy to accompany me. Doyoung, this is my friend Johnny and his wife Yuri.”
Doyoung smiled shaking their hands, “Nice to meet you, and congratulations,” he said and they smiled at him.
“Thank you, Taeyong. Hey, I know it’s been a while since you last went on a date, but I have the perfect date for you, my sister’s friend, she is here today and I can tell you will like her.” Yuri said.
Taeyong looked at Doyoung who kept his mouth shut, he sighed shaking his head, “No, thank you, Yuri. I’m comfortable this way,” Taeyong said and she stared at him.
“What nonsense! I’m sure you will like her!” Yuri said as she waved at someone from behind him.
“Yuri, no, please,” Taeyong tried to stop her but she just hushed him.
“Oh hush, I’m sure you’ll like her, there she comes!” she said and Taeyong sighed looking behind him at the girl Yuri wanted him to hook up with. His eyes widened and he held his breath. It was impossible, that couldn’t be happening, how is this for real? He couldn’t take his eyes off of the girl that was coming their way.
It was you, you looked graceful like how you used to be, your eyes bright and you were still beautiful, your hair shined like it always did, your pretty smile is still the same as it always has been, you didn’t look like how you did when he saw you in the underworld, it looked as if you were never there.
How was this possible? He remembers Hades’ words exactly, you were never to be resurrected again and you were forever trapped in the underworld. Did you manage to escape again? Or did Hades decide to give him mercy and make you return to him? Did Zeus interfere once again? He will never know.
“Hi, I’m Y/N, nice to meet you,” you said, your voice is still the same, Taeyong smiled happily for the first time in four days.
“I’m Taeyong, nice to meet you too,” he said and he saw how your eyes squinted like you were thinking about something.
“Have we met before?” you asked and Taeyong couldn’t believe it.
You didn’t remember him? You didn’t remember your old life? Did you get resurrected as a human? Was that another chance for him and you? If so, he had to make sure he would never let go of it.
Taeyong smiled shaking his head feeling his heart beat with happiness as he answered your question.
“I don’t think so, I would’ve remembered a beautiful face like yours.”

you and yeonjun were sat comfortably on the couch, watching a movie along with the rest of his members. your boyfriend had his arms wrapped protectively around your waist and had his head placed on your chest. to you that didn't seem like the most comfortable position, but yeonjun seemed to love it. "puppy, are you sure you're comfortable?" you spoke, a little too loudly, before realising what you had said. yeonjun looked at you with wide eyes, a smile threatening to spread across his face. soon, yeonjun went bright red as you heard the members snickering blatantly at the nickname. "puppy? i'd have thought yeonjun hyung was dom-" beomgyu spoke, but was interrupted by the pillow hurtling towards his face. "i like puppy," yeonjun whispered in your ear once everyone had stopped teasing the two of you.

calling soobin "bunny," wasn't an uncommon thing in your relationship; soobin loved when you called him that and was completely used to it. but using it in front of other's was always a red zone— seeing as it could be perceived as quite a sexual name, as well. so, when you called him bunny around his members when asking him to pass you your phone, he went completely stiff. "soobin?" you asked, confused why his ears had started to turn red. turning to your right, you saw yeonjun choking back belts of laughter. raising your eyebrow, you slowly realised you'd called him bunny. seeing soobin covering his face, as the younger members jeered and called him bunny as well, was probably the cutest thing you'd ever seen.
𝐁𝐄𝐎𝐌𝐆𝐘𝐔
it had started as a joke once beomgyu had begun to grow his hair out. along with his hair, he had grown a certain amount of sass, leading you to call him princess whenever he'd flip his hair. however, 'princess,' became a common nickname for you two, and neither of you realised or said anything about it. "princess, here," you said, giving beomgyu a bottle of water once he finished their dance routine. unphased, he thanked you for the water, finishing most of it. "princess?" yeonjun spoke up. "huh?" beomgyu asked, looking towards him. "(y/n) calls you princess?" soobin continued. "oh, yeah," he shrugged. the boys were slightly confused, you could say.

taehyun listened to you complain about your classmate, passing comments about how she was way out of line, etc. "angel, you need to understand the intensity!" you groaned. hearing a splutter from your right, you turned your head, confused. "what?" "you call him angel?" kai asked you, chuckling as he chewed his food. going silent, you blushed slightly when you realised you'd called taehyun angel. feeling an arm wrap around you, you turned your head to your boyfriend. "call me that more often," taehyun nuzzled into your neck.
𝐇𝐔𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐈
"hi bambi," you greeted, leaning into kai's wide arms, as he let you inside the front door. "i missed you," he whined against the top of your head, waddling to the couch with you still in his arms. "he really does look like bambi," taehyun commented as kai plopped down on the couch with you, yelping as he heard taehyun. "why are you here?" kai blushed. "do you think i'd miss finding out what (y/n)'s nickname for you is?" taehyun chuckled. groaning, kai begged him not to tell the rest, even offering to do his laundry. "deal!" taehyun said, leaving the living room. "do you not like bambi?" you asked, pouting. "no! of course i do," kai assured you, "i just don't want anyone else to call me that." kai placed a peck on your cheek before taking you back into his arms and squeezing you with all his might.

Bodyguard | Jeno
Prompts:
22. “Be good for me and spread your legs.”, 33. “If I have to pull over this car, you won’t be able to walk for a week.”, 28. “You take my fingers so well baby.”
- Pairing: Bodyguard Jeno x Princess reader
- Genre: Smut and a little angst
- Warnings: Secret relationship, unprotected sex, breeding kink, and daddy kink.
- Word count: 2.1k
You sighed as you looked out the car window, the raindrops cascading down the window, wasn’t this every young girl’s dream? Being a real princess. If it was like the fairytales, sure it would be fun but it was nothing like that. You had many responsibilities and lessons to learn, your life was spent mainly hidden behind closed doors as you learned the ins and out of being royalty so that you would be prepared for the day when you became queen. You didn’t get to just sit around and be pampered and you didn’t have many friends. Not all royalty was like this but your family was constantly in fear of something happening to you so you were kept sheltered away.
The only people close to you were the ones who your family deemed safe. The only people your age you were around were the handmaids and your bodyguard. You would see people your age at the occasional ball and you never were around any young men unless your parents were trying to find the man to wed you off to. The only male your age you were around was your bodyguard.
You let out another sigh and your bodyguard cleared his throat from the driver’s seat of the car, “What is on your mind miss?”
“My parents keep sending me out to go on dates with these princes and they are all just so drab. I am so tired of it.”
“Well you are an adult and usually you would have already had a husband chosen for you but your parents gave you time.”
“I should just marry you Jeno.”
You were sitting on the passenger side in the back and you noticed the way he gripped the wheel tighter.
Jeno and you had started playing a dangerous game a few years back. When you were younger you had an older man as your bodyguard but he was replaced with Jeno, and with your persistent flirting the two of you ended up messing around.
“I really don’t want to go meet this man. Why don’t we just go back home.”
“Your parents would fire me if I did that.”
“Hmm but I need you Jeno.”
You pouted when you noticed he wasn’t going to give in.
You placed one foot on the center console and spread your legs out to entice him. You had on a skirt but there were pantyhose underneath. You started to lightly touch yourself and let soft moans escape your lips.
“Ahh Jeno, please.’’
He looked back quickly and cursed under his breath then focused back on the road.
“Don’t do this right now miss.”
You started to move your fingers faster against your clit and moan louder.
“If I have to pull over this car, you won’t be able to walk for a week.”
“That’s what I want you to do Jeno. Now please.”
Jeno looked around for a place to park and found a private parking garage. You stopped touching yourself as he paid for parking and then he drove into a dark corner. You unbuckled your seatbelt as he opened the door opposite of you. His gaze was dark, and you could tell he was pissed but turned on. You had been very busy recently and hadn’t been able to do this in a while.
He sat down in the car and closed the door behind him, his eyes never leaving yours. You spread your legs towards him and beckoned him over. He crawled towards you, hovering over you. He pressed his nose against yours, his eyes still locked onto yours.
You started to get nervous under his intense gaze.
“Hi.”
He smirked, “Hi.”
He leaned and connected his lips with yours, and you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him in closer.
You kissed each other with so much passion, so much need. Both of you having built up sexual frustration over the past few weeks of being so close but unable to touch each other. He rubbed his hand over your aching heat and groaned at feeling your pantyhose. He pulled back from the kiss for a moment to grab and rip your pantyhose right down the middle.
“Fuck Jeno, you could have taken them off.”
He kissed you again, “Too much work.”
He pushed your panties to the side and pulled away from the kiss to wet his middle and ring finger in his mouth. Then he kissed you again as he pushed two fingers into you. You moaned into his mouth at the contact, “Going so fast Jeno.”
“We have to be quick okay. I would love to spend all night in this car with you but we can’t be very late for the meeting.”
He curled his fingers inside of you, immediately finding your most sensitive spot. He knew your body so well.
He pulled away from the kiss, his lips smeared red from your lipstick. He kissed down your neck leaving faint red marks from your lipstick down your neck.
You moaned out and fidgeted underneath him. He started to curl his fingers faster, trying to pull an orgasm from you.
He leaned back and watched his fingers inside of you, and he groaned as he watched his fingers coated with your wetness.
“You take my fingers so well baby.”
You reached to grab his arm, trying to slow him down.
“Ahhh too much Jeno.”
“You can take it.”
He grabbed your hands and pinned them above your head, up against the car door.
You tried to tighten your thighs around him but he kept them pushed apart with his thighs. You gasped loudly as you came around his fingers, your chest moving rapidly as you shook.
“Good girl, I told you that you could do it.”
He kissed your forehead then pulled his fingers out of you. You let your body relax and he let go of your hands above your head.
He undid his belt, and unzipped his pants, pushing them and his boxers down his thighs just enough for his dick to pop free.
You reached down and gripped it, stroking it a few times. He sucked in a breath and shuddered at the feeling.
“I wanna suck on it.”
You ran your finger over the tip, collecting the precum, and you sucked that finger into your mouth tasting it.
He gripped your chin, turning your gaze up to him. “As much as I would love to feel you choking on my cock, we can’t get that pretty little face of yours that messy. Plus we know you become a dumb cock slut when I let you suck on it.”
He ran his thumb over your bottom lip and you took it into your mouth, sucking.
He pulled his thumb away and smirked, “So good for me.”
“Please... Daddy, I want to suck on your cock.”
He froze, “What did you just call me?”
You bit your lip, “Daddy?”
“Baby, you know what that does to me. Are you wanting me to punish you?”
“You did promise me that you would fuck me until I couldn’t walk.”
“Don’t test me, baby. You might regret it. I am doing my best to not make a mess of you but I won’t be able to hold back if you keep this up.”
“Daddy, please.”
He groaned and leaned back admiring you as he stroked his cock.
“Be good for me and spread your legs.”
You bit your finger as you stared at him, slowly spreading your legs open for him.
He let out a heavy breath through his nose and his shoulders relaxed.
He moved in between your thighs, leaning over you, he placed his hand next to your head on the seat. He rubbed the head of his cock over your clit, then down to your core, and back up.
You wrapped your legs around his hips, “Please fill me up, daddy.”
He pushed inside of you slowly, and you clawed at his shirt as he filled you full.
“So fucking tight for me. Gonna have to start fucking you more just to stretch you back out.”
You whimpered and arched your back up.
“Did you miss my cock baby?”
“Y-yes so much. So fucking much.”
“Missed your pussy baby.” He grabbed onto the car door to steady himself and started to thrust fast. Your whole body moving with each thrust. He thrust particularly hard and your head hit against the door and you both chuckled. He leaned down close and placed his hand over the top of your head to cushion it as he continued to thrust into you hard and fast. His hand hit against the door with each thrust. He buried his face down in your shoulder and groaned, “Fucking feel so good.”
You tightened your legs around his waist and he reached down, grabbing your hip to give himself a better angle.
He moved from your shoulder to look into your eyes, the two of you sharing a loving gaze at that moment. When you said you should just marry him, you meant it, because you truly did love him but your parents would never allow such a thing. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he leaned down to kiss you. Your lips connected in a passionate kiss and your foreheads rubbed together as he continued to thrust into you. Sweat from his forehead fell onto yours.
He leaned back from you, and you let your arms fall from around his neck. He grabbed the underside of your thighs, pushing your body in half so he could reach an even better angle in you.
He hit a certain spot that made you gasp and desperately grab onto the seat.
“Right there, please don’t stop.”
His fingers dug into your thighs as he started to thrust faster at the perfect angle. You couldn’t help the loud gasping moans that escaped your lips as he pushed you closer and closer to the edge.
You reached out and grabbed his arms, leaving scratch marks down them, your body arched, your eyes close shut, and your thighs shook around him as you came.
Jeno continued to thrust fast, trying to prolong your orgasm as long as he could.
You had stopped breathing, holding your breath as you came, when you took a deep breath and opened your eyes you saw him staring at you.
“Such a pretty girl when you cum on my cock.”
He moved his hands to your hips and started to move even faster, chasing his own orgasm.
“Gonna cum inside me daddy?”
He groaned, his head falling forward.
“Just gonna impregnate you so you are mine. Want you all for myself.”
“Yeah, pump me full daddy. Make me yours.”
His eyebrows furrowed and his breaths got heavy as he was about to reach his high.
You ran your nails down his arms and that sent him over the edge. He moaned deeply and his hips moved sporadically as he came inside of you.
His body tensed then relaxed and he leaned forward against you. You started to pet his head and he relaxed even more against you.
Neither of you wanted to move because you knew the moment that he moved it meant you needed to head to meet up with the man you might end up marrying that wasn’t Jeno.
He massaged your sides with his hand and laid still inside of you, his cum leaking out around his softening cock.
“Baby, we really need to go. I can cover for a bit by saying traffic and we had to stop for a moment to grab something because you weren’t feeling well but it will be suspicious.”
You let out a heavy sigh, “Please just a bit longer.”
He let his head rest against you for about a minute longer then leaned up and kissed your lips then your forehead.
“We have to go now.”
He finally fully pulled out and you whimpered at both the sticky feeling and also the loss of contact. He leaned up and grabbed wipes from the front and wiped you clean.
He cleaned you up then kissed you one final time before moving back to the front to drive the car.
You sat in the back trying to make yourself look presentable again. You caught Jeno’s eyes on you several times.
The ride to the restaurant was silent other than the soft hum of the car. Once you got there he opened the car door, and when you were about to step past him he stopped you.
“Please don’t fall for him. I really want you all for myself.”
You stared into his eyes and smiled softly, “I promise.”

Out in the rain – JJK
P: Jungkook x female reader | G: fluff, drabble | Inc: playing in the rain, fever, Bam mention, Jimin mention, Namjoon mention, Yoongi mention, grad student!Jungkook, dance teacher!Jimin, y/n's also a grad student, sleepy Kookie my beloved | Wc: 980| W: food cw| R: G
Summary: Jungkook initially thinks nothing of spending hours in the rain with Bam; it’s fun, and he likes spending time with his Doberman. Y/n gets her I told you so moment when a fever descends upon the grad student.
Min's notes; This was cute <33 the ending feels a lil rushed tho, but eh- I like where I left it
In hindsight, Jungkook knew spending hours in the rain with Bam wasn’t the smartest idea. He’d woken up feeling like several trains ran through him. He ached. Blinking through the brain fog, he groaned; lethargy, shivering and a sore throat? He would be an idiot to deny the facts – he was sick. Very sick, if the lead weight in his limbs were anything to go by.
How absolutely wonderful.
Flopping back into the comfort of his sheets with little resistance, Jungkook shifted around, overly uncomfortable. Everything was off-kilter, and he couldn’t help but whine in pain when his head throbbed from the squirming. Wishing for the pain to go away without actively getting up to find painkillers wasn’t doing much to help either.
“Love? Good morning— Jungkook?” Walking towards the boyfriend-shaped lump on the bed, y/n frowned, concern knitting her brows. “Are you okay?”
“…’m sick. Everything hurts.”
“Am I allowed to say it? A nod. “I told you so baby, it was pouring with rain yesterday. You stay here, I’ll go and get the thermometer.”
Luckily for y/n, Jungkook hadn’t planned on moving at all. In fact, he was quite happy to melt away underneath his duvet.
Peeping his head over the covers, Jungkook squinted as light poured through the gap in the door, exceedingly grateful that he invested in a good pair of blackout curtains. Saved from looking at the sunlight any longer once y/n re-entered the room, Jungkook returned to the comfort of being under his covers completely. He was shivering – nothing like being smothered under his covers couldn’t fix.
And then his precious duvet was torn away from him.
“Hello there~” y/n snickered as her boyfriend whined, “ can you lift your head for me bun? I need to check if you’re running a fever." Ruffling his sweat-damp hair, y/n hummed as she stuck the device in her sick boyfriend’s ear. Jungkook was definitely running a fever; he was a full two degrees above the human average. With a sigh, y/n set the device aside, wrapping her arms around Jungkook to help him sit up.
“How bad?”
“Very. Think you can make it to the living room?”
“Mhm…” Throwing his legs over the side, Jungkook hauled himself up, taking a grand total of three steps before wobbling, leaning into y/n’s open arms. Determined, the grad student blinked back the bout of dizziness as he tried to steady himself, huffing out an exhale. The fever wasn’t going to keep him down if he had anything to say about it.
Nursing a thermos of green tea with Bam curled up on the sofa, Jungkook read through his thesis for the third time that afternoon. As sick as he was, grad student responsibilities came first; his thesis needed to be worked on, whether he wanted to work on it or not. Coughing into his arm, the student read over his notes, content with simply editing the work he had already done. Alone in the apartment, he had no plans to move from his spot, risking his fate by leaving his front door unlocked.
He was a student, if someone decided to barge in, he’d welcome them in. Anything to escape university.
There was someone tapping his shoulder.
“…Kookie? Earth to Jeon Jungkook?” Opening his eyes only to immediately squint through the brightness of his overhead light, Jungkook made a noncommittal hum. “Oh thank fuck, you’re alive.”
“Jimin hyung?” Blinking as the blob in front him nodded, Jungkook hauled himself up with a weak groan, his vision swimming just that little bit more before it cleared up. His skin boiling, Jungkook made a frail attempt at fanning himself with his shirt, too exhausted to react to the way it clung to him and the sweat on his body. What he did react to, however, was the lack of Bam’s presence on his sofa – they were laying together, right? Turning his head from side-to-side – with all the grace of a ragdoll – Jungkook still couldn’t tell where his canine companion had gone.
“Hyung..?” Jimin hummed his response from the kitchen. “Where’s Bam? I thought he was here on the sofa with me?” Accepting the bowl of soup while he waited for Jimin’s answer, Jungkook let the bowl rest on the table.
“Namjoon hyung came by and took him for a walk, like, half an hour ago? Probably still with him. Anyway, eat up; Yoongi hyung brought this over and you need to get your strength back.” The older of the two answered, gently flicking the brunet’s forehead. Laughing when Jungkook huffed, whining about not hurting the patient, Jimin turned his head and followed the sound of knocking at the front door.
There was quiet, and then Jungkook paused when he heard laughter.
Y/n was home! He’d live!
“Hello to you too, Mr I Have A Fever~” Y/n cooed, ruffling her boyfriend’s hair as she deposited her bag and coat off to the side. Waving Jimin off when the dance teacher eventually needed to leave, she went on about her day, filling Jungkook in about everything happening outside the confines of his front door. It sounded fun. Pausing her description of a boring media lecture when she finally noticed Jungkook watching her with ever-so-adoring curiosity, y/n’s features softened.
He was just too cute for his own good.
“Anything you want, baby? You’ve been looking at me like that for a while now.” There was a pause as y/n waited for her answer, more than content to return her boyfriend’s gaze.
“Just a nap,” Jungkook yawned, shifting around until his head was settled in y/n’s lap. “You’re here now… so ‘m gonna sleep now~” A smile on his face when he felt the soft press of a kiss to his temples, Jungkook let his eyes shut again that day, the heaviness of fever-induced sleep soon taking over. He welcomed it.
“Sleep well my love.”

"If I could give so much love to the wrong one, imagine how much I could love the right one." The quote on the wall said, you looked back at Mark and smiled as he stared at the description of one of the paintings.
"Yo, I don't understand what this says-" Mark whispered and you pulled him closer to yourself, "Shut up." You said and leaned onto his shoulder, staring at the quote. "If I could give so much love to the wrong one, imagine how much I could love the right one." Mark read and then looked down at you and smiled, kissing the top of your head.
"Why do we always go to art museums? Do you like them?" Mark asked you when the both of you were in the lobby and you looked up at him, "Hm? I do like them. Makes me feel royal if I go to one, you know? Plus paintings are nice. We should appreciate art." You said and looked down at your phone again to check the notable pieces inside. "You know they give us a booklet guide, right?" Mark mumbled as he peeked into your phone. "Shut up."
"I wanna go to the souvenir shop!" Mark giggled excitedly and you just trudged behind the taller male as he navigated his way through people to the souvenir shop. He picked up a few things and then called you over. "This is the quote you were staring at!" He said and handed you the canvas, the quote was indeed written on it but you smiled and put it back in place. Mark's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Why'd you put it back, babe?" He said and picked it up again. "Some things are just meant to be admired." You said and he stared at you in confusion, "Eh? I don't get you, but anyway, saves my money. I don't care." He said and picked up a few more canvases.
Your eyes fell on his bright ones which were frantically searching for gifts for everyone.
"You think Johnny hyung will like this?" His eyes shifted towards you and his smile drooped softly, "Baby you good?"
"Yes love, I'm fine." You said and held his arm pulling him closer to yourself. He started talking again, something about Haechan being disgusting and wearing his shorts and you looked up at him from his shoulder, his eyes were so passionate and so beautiful.
He looked down at you and then his eyebrows furrowed, "Quit staring, will you?" He said and you nodded softly, kissing his cheek. "You're my right one, Mark Lee."

you and jake lay in your bed, tangled with each other. jake's arm was sprawled over your waist, while your head was buried comfortably in his chest, breathing his scent at the ungodly hours of the morning. "jake?" you asked softly, wondering if he was awake as well. a soft hum sounded through his chest, making your head vibrate slightly. giggling at the feeling, you pulled away from his chest and looked at him.
"what's up?" he asked, raking his fingers through your hair. you shook your head, leaning in and placing multiple, wet kisses around his face, making him cringe and whine. as you laughed, jake looked at you with the same affection you had in your gaze. "i love you," he mumbled against your cheek. "i love your nose," you said back. "what?" he asked, confused, "my nose?"
"yeah, you have a really pretty nose." you traced your finger down his nose bridge, before jokingly squeezing it, making him cry out in pain as your finger nails dug into his skin. giggling you placed a kiss where your nails had marked him, humming out an apology.
"i want to sleep," he pouted. "then sleep," you replied, kissing his sulky mouth. jake shook his head, his long hair slightly flopping. in turn, you cooed, raking your fingers through his overgrown hair which fell at his neck. humming in satisfaction, he threw his leg over your waist, clinging to you like a koala. "you're such a big baby," you said, with hearts in your eyes as you trapped him in a tight hug. "i want to spend time with you," he said, as his reason not to sleep.
you shook your head. "we can do that tomorrow," you said scratching him under his chin. "go to sleep," you assured. earning a yawn from jake, you smiled in satisfaction as he leaned his head in the crook of your neck and fell asleep soon after. placing a long kiss on the top of his head, you soon fell into a state of deep slumber, as well.

“Dong Sicheng.”
The cold voice rang out clear enough for the entire classroom to stop its mayhem and look at the duo, who earlier this week had caused a scandal big enough to spread throughout the college campus in a rapid fire.
The said boy looked up from his notebook, equally annoyed eyes meeting the voice of the owner as he frowned at her asking her to continue.
“You are sitting on my seat.” Y/N gritted, trying not to make a scene in front of the class like last time, when he had bumped into her in the cafeteria, spilling her coffee and then refusing to buy her a new one.
This wouldn’t have been so known in the college if either of them didn’t burst into a shouting competition, which ended with them having to be finally pulled apart by their friends.
“Really? I don’t see your name over here. Or do you, perhaps, own this seat?” He asked coolly, not even making attempts to move.
The class held its breath as the students now watched you turn visibly angry, your pretty brows crinkling in disbelief at his audacity.
“Do you,” she began slowly just to make sure he was well aware, “even know who I am?”
Now he raised his eyebrows.
“Does it make a difference?”
She sucked in a breath, trying to keep her composure. She really didn’t want to lash out at him. No point wasting your time and beauty on someone so infuriating.
“Look here Sicheng. You have exactly five strikes to make me love you, so do NOT waste them I’m warning you.”
“Love me? Why the fuck do I want you to love me? And five strikes for what exactly?”
She ignored the first question, going for the second instead.
“Once I mark down an enemy, I give them exactly five strikes to get on to the better side of me. Because trust me, you do not want me as your enemy.”
It was true. No one definitely wanted her as their enemy. She was, after all, one of their professor’s daughter. One of the most strict professors. And the last thing they wanted was to cross him and get themselves into trouble.
But to her dismay, Sicheng just shrugged.
“Really. You aren't worth getting back into your good books.”
Even though his comment hit her like a blow, she covered the hurt on her face quickly. She opened her mouth to retort back but was interrupted immediately.
“Sicheng! Y/N! What’s this commotion I’m seeing!” Their attention snapped back to the professor who had walked in. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment as she realised she was the only one standing up whilst everyone else had sat down already.
Embarrassed, she quickly sat down on the empty seat beside his.
“Meet me after class, the two of you.”
She glared at him and he glared back, before turning back to his notebook.
“Strike one.” You muttered under your breath.
╼ 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐈𝐈
“Fuck you.” She muttered, as she forcefully pulled out the weed from the soil, nearly uprooting the rose plant along with it.
“Careful. You definitely don’t want to be responsible for replanting those roses again.” Sicheng warned her, to which she just gave him a look of “I-know-what-I’m doing-mind-your-own-business”.
Sicheng and her had ended up being assigned to garden and tend the rose bushes in front of their college along with the gardener, who right now, had gone for a little break. This activity was supposed to be a ‘bonding time’ like the professor had instructed but Y/N really couldn’t see herself and Sicheng bonding anytime soon.
“Well, it’s all your fault we are here.” She snapped.
“My fault? How was it my fault? If you hadn’t demanded that seat was yours and just sat down on the seat next to me-”
“I’ve been sitting there for the whole week!” She exclaimed, nearly falling down in her excitement.
He shrugged.
“Doesn’t make it yours honestly.”
She humphed, and went back to working wondering when it would be lunch time soon so that she could get a break from him.
“You are gonna hurt yourself like this.” She said all of a sudden, as she noticed the way he was cutting the branches of the rose. He too, like her, ignored her advice.
And no sooner had those words escaped her mouth, Sicheng let out a gasp as one of the thorns pushed into his skin.
He yanked the gloves out of his hand, and cursed lightly at the sight of the thorn stuck in his finger.
She tsked at him as he began to take it out, causing him to stop. He looked at her dryly and she beckoned him closer to her. Sicheng rolled his eyes but nonetheless edged closer to her.
Taking his hands in her now ungloved ones, she expertly pulled out the thorn from his finger. It was done so fast he didn't even have the time to reach.
Sicheng stared at his finger in amazement, as he watched a small trickle of blood come out.
"Come on." She said, throwing away the thorn and standing up. He looked up at her in confusion.
"Where to? We aren't done yet-"
"We need to apply antiseptic and a band aid on that." She pointed, already hopping out of the soil onto the hard pavement. Then looking at him she said again, " We don't want that to become infectious now, do we?"
Sicheng stared at her. All of a sudden, it was like she was a whole different person. Now that they weren't fighting like usual, he wondered why others called her "sweet", a value he was always sceptical about associating with her.
She waved at him.
"Earth to Sicheng? Are you okay? Or did you lose too much blood?" She snickered.
Her snide remark jolted him back to the present, and he rolled his eyes and quickly got up, following her inside.
The coolness of Y/N's room was a blessing against the sweltering heat they had to garden in.
Presently, Sicheng found himself sitting on the bed next to the girl he detested the most, as she took out the ointment and band aid.
himself sitting on the bed of the girl he hated the most, right next to Y/N. His hand was on hers and all of a sudden the room seemed to feel hot.
Gently, she dabbed the ointment on his finger and it stung a little, causing him to wince.
She looked at him concerned and for a second Sicheng felt his heart stop.
“Are you okay?” She asked softly. He opened his mouth to speak but no sound came out as he stared at her instead. The sunlight coming from the window beside her bed lit her up, accenting her features more. Her hair stuck on to her slightly sweaty forehead but somehow he found that it made her look more natural. …And more beautiful. Despite being sweaty, he could still get a whiff of her soap, and Sicheng felt his stomach flip a little.
He gulped, trying to remember her question. What was that she had asked?
She raised an eyebrow at him and he felt his cheeks burn, as he looked away hastily clearing his throat.
“Uh, I-”
The door to her room opened with a bang, causing both of them to jump apart, not that they were doing anything inappropriate.
“Hey baby.” Jung Jaehyun strode into the room confidently, and Sicheng watched as Y/N’s face broke into one of the brightest smiles he had ever seen.
Confidently, Jaehyun leaned down and pecked her lips, and she let out a small giggle.
Suddenly Sicheng felt a sharp pain in his chest, and he frowned, wondering what even was this emotion.
“Hi, Jae! How did you know I’ll be in my room?” She asked, still smiling at him like a person madly in love. Which she probably was.
“I didn’t actually know you’d be there here. I, uh, came to get my jacket!” She didn’t seem to notice him stuttering but a small part of Sicheng was nagging as the scene he had seen a few days ago kept replaying in his mind. If she was his girlfriend then who was she?
“Ah yeah! You left it last night!” She said, reaching for something behind her bed and pulling out a leather jacket. She handed it over to him with a smile.
“Hey!” Jaehyun said, acknowledging Sicheng for the first time. Maybe it was his imagination, but he could surely see the panic in his eyes. Did he know that Sicheng had seen that?
“Hey man. How are you?” He asked, to which the other boy just shrugged.
“Good good. By the way, Johnny invited us over to his house tomorrow. Both of you too. So you better be ready okay?” Jaehyun said, waving them goodbye and zooming out of the room faster than he had come in. No sooner had the door closed in front of them, Sicheng whipped towards Y/N as she quietly put the band-aid on his finger, a small smile still lingering on her face.
“Jaehyun is your boyfriend?” He asked incredulously.
She raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah and?”
He opened his mouth to tell her what he had seen but for some reason, he couldn’t get himself to tell her the truth. Maybe it was the fact that he didn’t want to see her heartbroken.
“He’s an asshole.”
The words slipped out of his mouth before he could even comprehend what he was saying.
“Excuse me?” She screamed, pushing herself away from him.
“I said, he’s an asshole.”
“Oh is that so? You know who else is? You.” She spat, venom in her every word.
Sicheng felt his patience snap as he looked at her annoyed.
“Maybe I am. But he’s a bigger asshole. And honestly you would be the biggest one if you didn’t believe me.”
He felt himself fall from her bed onto the hard floor as Y/N pushed him off her bed, seething with rage.
“Asshole.” She hissed. “Get out of here. I don’t even want to be anywhere near you.”
Sichneg got up nonchalantly, brushing himself up. He walked towards the door, and finally looked at her once more before leaving.
“Trust me, you’ll regret loving him.”
“Strike two!”
╼ 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐈𝐈𝐈
“Do you think this looks good on me?” She muttered, looking at herself in the mirror. She saw the girl beside her roll her eyes, clearly bored with her long choosing process.
“Goddammit Y/N! You look good in all! Just pick one!” Minjeong groaned, tired of the long shopping session they had. Their hands were overflowing with bags of clothes but Y/N still couldn’t seem to decide on the perfect clothes.
“Hmm but I want a perfect one for Jae!” She giggled. Her best friend sighed angrily, before walking up and throwing her original clothes at her.
“Wear these. Or I’m leaving you this instant.”
Y/N frowned at her hurriedness, but nonetheless changed back to her clothes and stepped out of the dressing room.
She walked out of the dressing room and straight to the counter, where Minjeong was already billing for her clothes. Finally paying for her things and being handed her bags, she rounded around only to bump straight into someone.
Her bags fell from her hand and she let out a small oof.
“Oh it’s you again.”
The familiar voice caused her to look at the speaker, and she scowled at Sicheng.
“What are you doing here?” She asked, irritated to see him.
He raised an eyebrow too.
“What, do you own the store too now?” He snockered.
“You shouldn’t step outside. There’s people outside who look like they want your head on a platter.”
“Aww, jealous?”
“Jealous of you?” She snickered. Sicheng rolled his eyes, before bending down to pick up her bags and handing them to her.
She looked at him in surprise as she took the bag from him, still unclear on why he helped her.
“We should stop fighting over petty stuff.” He leaned in and whispered, before walking away. She whipped around to stare at his reiterating figure, only for her thoughts to be broken by Minjeong’s laughter.
“Your cheeks are burning oooh!”
Y/N turned away embarrassed, before pulling her still laughing best friend out of the shop.
“That will be strike three Sicheng.”
╼ 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐈𝐕
“Hey, what are you doing here?” Sicheng asked, frowning at the girl sitting all alone in the corner of the room. The room was very poorly lit and he couldn’t see her face clearly, so he sat down beside her.
Y/N turned towards him sniffling, and he froze as he saw her tear stricken face.
“Y-Y/N? What’s wrong? What happened?” He asked her, trying to hide the worry in his voice.
“Sicheng.” She whispered, in the most vulnerable voice and he felt himself automatically wrap his arms around her. She too leaned into his touch. “Sicheng I’m sorry.”
“What are you sorry for?” He asked.
She looked up at him and he felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. What had happened?
“I-I’m sorry for c-calling you an asshole. You were right about Jae-” She broke down into tears once more, unable to complete her sentence. He pulled her into a crushing hug, as though it would stop her pain. “I’m sorry. I should have trusted you-”
“Hey hey hey. Shh. Calm down first okay?” he whispered, gently patting her back. "Of course you wouldn't trust me. It's not like we were on good terms."
"I should have listened to you." She mumbled into his t-shirt again, and he guessed that she was drunk.
He dearly wanted to let her go and find Jaehyun, and give him the lunch he deserved but a small part of him didn't want to let go of Y/N. It was as though if he let her go, she might get hurt again.
"I'm sorry. I should have explained to you why. This is partly my fault too." He muttered into her hair, rocking her gently.
She looked up at him once more and Sicheng felt his heart stop. She looked so beautiful that he wanted to pause this moment just to stare at her forever.
"Why didn't you tell me then, though?" She asked.
He gulped, and decided to tell the truth.
"Because I didn't want to break your heart."
The yellow light was throwing a faint glow on her face as she stared at him with slightly parted lips. He felt his breath flatter as she leaned in slightly.
And before he knew, her lips were on his, kissing him gently. He felt her clutch the collar of his t-shirt tightly as he pulled her in closer with a quick jerk, wanting to feel her touches more.
His head was spinning like crazy, and the more he tried to figure out what was going on, the more he found himself lost.
It was like the only thing in his mind was the feeling of her lips against his, the softness of her clothes under his fingertips…
Sicheng had kissed many girls before from his thousand different flings and girlfriends but kissing Y/N was somehow different. It felt more...natural. And it felt more true.
The kiss was over too soon in his opinion and the next thing he knew, he was staring at her swollen lips, the urge to kiss her again much stronger.
But she was drunk and he didn't want to do something that might cause her to regret later.
Slowly, she leaned in so that their lips were brushing against each other's.
"That's strike four. For not telling me."
He found himself laughing as he got up, pulling her with him.
"You'll be thanking me later. But now let's get you home." And he prayed that she got over Jaehyun as quickly as his heart was beating right now.
╼ 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐕
The door to the small cafe swung open, revealing a shivering man as he quickly stepped inside. Once he was inside the warm and comfortable coffee shop he stopped shivering, looking around for someone.
Sicheng's eyes finally landed on Y/N's, as she waved at him happily.
He walked over to her, taking a seat opposite to her.
"Hello." She said sheepishly.
"Hello. How are you?" Sicheng asked, smirking at her shy attitude.
"Good good. How's your holiday going on?" She asked.
Y/N had asked him whether he wanted to meet up during the holidays in her favourite cafe, to which he immediately agreed. Even though he didn't want to look too eager, he didn't want to lose this opportunity to meet her too.
What he had never told her was during this small friendship which had bloomed between them, he had fallen madly in love with her. His mind kept wandering back to that night when they had kissed, but she never mentioned it, nor did he bring it up assuming that she had forgotten it.
Nonetheless, he loved everything about her. Her stubbornness, her laughter, her beauty and her everything.
Even though he saw her everyday, it was like he was falling in love with her every time he saw her.
Even now, as he saw her smile at him, he felt his head go dizzy at her beauty.
"I hope you don't mind but I ordered my favourite cake for you!" She said, peering at him curiously.
"Nooo I don't want to try what you like!" He whined. Her face fell a little and Sicheng felt his heart break a little but he suppressed it for the laughter bubbling inside him. "That's alright. I'll get you something else-"
"I was joking." He grinned.
She opened her mouth and closed it, trying to process what he had just said. Then she glared at him, pouting at him.
They talked for a long time, eating their cakes and drinking their coffee after which they decided to go for a walk in the park.
Sicheng made sure to walk close to her, but he didn't have the courage to wrap his arm around her and pull her in closer.
“Oh look!” She said suddenly, pointing at the sky. He looked up to see tiny snowflakes fall from the sky, and he looked at Y/N again. He felt his heart explode to see her happy, as the snow fell in her head like a halo, making her look like an angel.
Her eyes flicked to his and she stared back at him, time frozen for both of them.
Slowly, her eyes fluttered close and Sicheng saw her lean into him slowly. He felt something pull him towards her too, as he gently wrapped his arms around her waist.
But just before her lips touched his, he moved his face a little, a wicked smile on his face. Her lips met his cheeks and she drew back horrified, but then glared at him as she saw his smirk.
“Sicheng! Strike five!” He felt her push herself away from him.
“Just kidding!” He said hastily, quickly pressing his lips on her. He wasn’t going to waste his strikes. Not this time at least.

“Baby.”
You ignored him, trying very very hard to get some sleep. You really wished you hadn’t sat for a whole Harry Potter movie marathon for New Year’s night but how could you refuse your boyfriends cute pouty whines? But halfway through the first movie, it was very evident that Bang fucking Chan’s intentions weren’t even to watch the movies. It was just an evil excuse to cuddle you and pepper you with kisses.
Which, you didn’t mind of course but watching movies straight from 6 PM to 12 AM wasn’t really healthy and you had had a tired day already (holidays were tiresome) and wanted to just go to sleep.
“Baby, are you sleeping?”
You suppress your desire to slap him.
“I’m trying to.”
“So I uh, just wanted to let you know that I’m going to be loud-”
“What?” Never in your life had you turned towards Chan this fast, still unable to believe what your ears were hearing. Was he talking about that?
“-because I’m hungry and my tummy is rumbling.”
No sooner had the words left his mouth did you hear a loud growling sound coming from his stomach. And for some reason, you found it really funny and let out a giggle.
“What’s so funny?” He whined, pouting at you while puffing his cheeks.
You grabbed his cheeks between his palm before quickly pressing a soft kiss on his lips.
“Nothing nothing. Just that…you look like a baby. A cute baby saying he is hungry.” You said, accentuating your voice to make yourself sound like you were talking to your five year old niece.
But Chan loved that you were babying him despite him annoying you and it was very evident in the smile growing on his face.
“So, uh, since I was thinking…let’s make something?”
You blanched at his words.
“Make something? Do you even know what time it is?”
“Yes, I know it’s 1 am, but I want cupcakes.”
“Go get yourself something from the fridge.” You grumbled, turning away from him to go back to your attempt of sleeping.
“But baby,” Chan whined, snaking his arms around your waist and pulling you flush against his chest. You cursed yourself for melting under his warmth and touch, snuggling into him even more closer. “The food will be so cold! And it won’t have our love in it! You don’t want your lover to be all cold and shriveled up now, do you?”
“You are already shriveled up, you old man.” You muttered, forcefully closing your eyes, trying not to laugh at the sound of Chan's dramatic gasp.
“Y/N! What are you saying? How can you not love an old shriveled up goose like me!”
“Goose-”
Fifteen minutes later, you found yourself seated on the kitchen counter, legs around your boyfriend's waist as the two of you kissed and finally got to enjoy slightly burnt cookies.
“Good morning love.”
You smiled involuntarily at his husky voice, eyes opening only half to see Chan's equally smiling face. His hair was all ruffled up causing your heart to flutter a little.
“Good morning. Did you sleep well?” You whispered, snuggling closer into him.
“Too well. You must have poured all your love into those cookies because they were too good.”
You laughed lightly, feeling his arms wrap around your body as you pressed your ear next to his chest, hearing his heart hammer under your touch.
“Happy New Year.”
“Happy New Year love. I wish only the best for this year.”
“What did you dream of?” You asked softly.
“Our wedding.”
You looked up at him shocked, hoping your cheeks were not as heated up as you felt them to be. But Chan's smirk was definitely telling something else.
“W-What?” You stammered, clearly not ready for his cheekiness this early in the morning. (Well it was almost 12 in the afternoon but hey they two of you slept late-)
Bang Chan smirked his knowing smirk, gently caressing your hair.
“What what? Don’t you want to get married to me? Or do you prefer someone else other than this old shriveled up goose?”
“I- What no.” You muttered, looking down as more blood rushed into your cheeks. “I didn’t mean that. And don’t call yourself a goose.”
“Well good. I can surprise propose you then.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Surprise propose me? No thank you. I don’t want to get a heart attack.”
Secretly, you were in love with the idea though.
“Hahaha very funny Y/N. I can see the excitement in your eyes.”
“That’s it. I’m going to work.” You got up from his embrace but he pulled you back into his arms.
“It's January 1st, baby. Too much stressed from work? Or perhaps…want to get away from this old goose?”
“Shut the fuck up Chan.”
You pretended to be mad at Chan for quite some time. On the outside, you acted like you were offended by his jokes while on the inside you were dying at the antics he was doing just to get your attention.
Finally, the two of you settled down on the couch for another movie marathon, you smiling coolly at him while he stared at you with puppy eyes. But you were no fool. You knew, even now his extremely sharp brain was trying to work out on what he did wrong and how he could correct it.
The comfortable (at least according to you) silence was broken by the sudden pitter patter of rain drops falling against the window sill. (Why was it raining in winter? Climate was really messed up nowadays)
All of a sudden he exclaimed.
“Let’s dance in the rain!”
You looked at him dryly.
“Cliché, much?”
But Chan was already on his feet, pulling you up with him as he dragged you towards the open balcony of your shared apartment.
“Chan wait-”
But it was too late.
With a short tug and laugh from him, you were soon under in the rain. As the water seeped into your clothes, you shivered, visibly cold.
“Ch-Chan.” You chattered, clutching yourself. He smiled at you softly, causing your insides to warm up. All of a sudden you were struck for the millionth time by how handsome he looked. The soft light of the living room was throwing light on his face, his edges soft. The rain had caused his hair to stick on to his forehead but he looked breathtaking nonetheless.
He extended his hands towards you, which you gladly took. He pulled you in closer, but maintained a little distance between the two of you.
“Chan?” You asked softly.
“Hmm, love?”
“Can you- can you sing for me?”
His smile grew wider as he slowly twirled you, the two of you dancing in the rain as his beautiful voice stood out against the falling sound of the rain.
“Under the stars yeah yeah 24 to 25 bae.”
You smiled at the familiar song, finally stopping a hair breath away from his face. His eyes flicked to your lips and back to your eyes again. He stared at you with a smile reaching his eyes and you smiled back, your heart nearly fluttering out of your chest.
“I want a hug.” He said all of a sudden. You felt a bubble of laughter escape you, as you heard the slight whining tone in his voice
“Ask, and you shall receive.”
His eyes widened at your words, surprised that you had finally given in and he didn’t waste this opportunity.
“Can you hug me?” He asked softly and you immediately collapsed into his arms. You tried crushing him but Chan was stronger than you and hugged you even more fiercely. You felt a laugh rise in your chest at your silly competition and Chan let out a fake grunt to show the effort he was putting in.
“I love you so so much.” You whispered, and you felt him pull you apart. Leaning his forehead against yours, he stared into your eyes lovingly, causing your knees to feel like jelly.
“I love you too. I love you a lot.”
You smiled at him, pinching his cheeks slightly.
“Have I kissed you today?” You asked, feigning ignorance.
“You tell me. Do I look like I’ve been kissed enough today?”
“Hmmm.” You pretended to think.
“Y/N.” Chan whined, shaking you gently. “Why are you depriving me of your love?”
“I’m not! I’m just thinking whether or not-”
He shook you harder. “What’s there to think?” Then all of a sudden, he looked up before shouting, “Hey, look! Mistletoe.”
“Nope, I’m not kissing you.”
He yanked you towards him, causing the two of you to fall down on the slippery balcony. You struggled to get up, but he kept pulling you down. Soon, the air was filled with the two of you laughing and bantering.
“Let me go!”
“Only after you give me a kiss!”
“No!”
“Yes!”
And it went back and forth until you quickly pressed your lips against his. He immediately stopped struggling and pulled you in even more closer.
Finally the two of you broke apart, cheeks flushed and huge smiles on your faces.
“Y/N.” He murmured against your lips. “It’s the New Year. Shouldn’t we start with a new chapter?”
You blinked at him. “How so?”
Chan pressed a kiss against your lips. “Will you marry me?”
You smiled.
“Yes. Just stay with me.”
A/N: Please do tell me what you think about this story!! I worked really hard on it and I would love to know everyone’s thoughts on it~ Comments and reblogs are appreciated!

My Incubus | Wonho
- Pairing: Incubus Wonho x Female reader
- Genre: Smut
- Warnings: Summoning and making a deal with a demon, size kink, baby girl/ daddy, oral male and female receiving,
- Word count: 1.6K
You stood right outside the pentagram chanting words in Latin. As the spell came to an end the candles at each point of the pentagram went out making it completely dark in your bedroom. You froze unsure of what to do. A cold breeze could be felt and the candles slowly relit. You looked up to see a gorgeous man standing in the middle of the pentagram. His hair was a dark brown, and his outfit was solid black minus the chain connected to his belt and the light glow against his leather pants. His very prominent muscles showed clearly.
He smirked, "Like what you see?"
You nodded, "Yes I do."
"My name is Wonho. Why did you call upon me? Most people don't ask for an incubus."
You bit your lip, "I'm lonely and I figured an Incubus could help with that."
"Oh baby girl, you can't even imagine the ways I will help you."
He stopped and smirked, "But it comes at a cost."
"What is the cost?"
"You will bear my child, and in turn, I shall make sure you aren't lonely. After my first seed is released, once a week you will have an insatiable craving to feel me inside of you, and when that time comes I will make sure to please you."
"So my payment is a child and the need to feel you?"
He nodded his head, "That is it."
You bit your lip, "I agree."
He reached his hand out towards you, and you grabbed it. He stepped out of the pentagram and kissed you passionately. Pulling away he smirked, "The deal has been sealed."
Now that he was closer you really could see just how undeniably hot he was. He looked like a perfectly sculpted Greek god. If going to hell means we must sin, then devilish men must be beautiful enough to tempt you into sinning and this man could make you do anything.
He licked his lips, "You are very beautiful. Why did you have to call upon a demon to please you?"
You smirked, "I figured only a demon could offer me what I needed and by the looks of it you will offer me exactly what I want."
He pulled you forward by your chin and leaned down to your ear. He ran his tongue around the outside of your ear and then bit down. You whimpered and he gripped your ass with his other hand. "I will offer you everything you have ever wanted and more. Your wildest fantasies will be fulfilled with me."
You shivered under his touch, his hand was cold yet warm at the same time.
He growled lowly in your ear, "Baby girl. You are making me hard without even doing anything. Feel."
He grabbed your hand and placed it on the very prominent bulge in his pants. A deep groan left his lips, "Fuck."
He was thick and long, "Wonho you are so big."
He licked his lips, "Of course I am. A sex demon better be large in the pants."
You gripped his bulge tighter and his dick twitched under your hand.
"On your knees."
You looked up at him shocked, "What?"
He gripped your hair and pulled you so you were looking into his eyes, "On your knees baby girl. Daddy wants your lips wrapped around his cock."
He let go of your hair as you slid down to your knees in front of him. You watched as he undid his pants, and pulled out his very large cock. You gulped nervously, unsure of if it would even fit in your mouth.
You wrapped your right hand at the base and your left hand above that, taking the tip into your mouth. Your mouth was stretched by just the tip as he had a lot of girth. You took him back until your lips touched your hand. He groaned and gripped your hair tighter. "Fuck baby girl. Daddy wants to face fuck you."
He used your hair to hold you still as he thrust in and out of your mouth quickly. You struggled to breathe, and tears welled in your eyes.
He thrust faster and groaned as he released into your throat.
"Swallow that all up baby girl and then show me."
You swallowed all of it and opened your mouth showing him it was all gone.
He smirked, "You are such a good girl. I think it's your turn now."
He picked you and threw you over his shoulder. He smacked your ass since it was right by his face.
Walking over to your bed he threw you down roughly and you slightly bounced.
He crawled over you, hovering as he looked at you with hungry eyes. "One thing you will learn baby girl is that if you please me I will always reciprocate."
He snapped his fingers and your shirt and bra were suddenly gone.
You gasped, "What the hell?"
He smirked, "That's called magic baby girl."
He kissed down between your breasts and over your stomach. When you reached the hem of your pants he looked up at you, biting down on your pants he growled.
He slowly slid your pants off leaving you just in your underwear. He grabbed the bottom of your thighs and spread your legs. Leaning forward he kissed your clothed core, "You smell fantastic, I can't wait to taste."
He grabbed the hem of your underwear with his teeth and pulled until they were fully off, leaving you exposed to him.
He hovered over your core and blew against it causing you to fidget and bite your finger. You felt self-conscious about your body right now and you blushed as he looked at you with such hunger.
He looked in your eyes as he leaned down and placed a kiss on your clit.
He spread your legs out farther as he ran his tongue from the core to your clit. "Mmm baby you taste amazing."
You blushed even harder, "Don't be self-conscious baby girl. You are perfect."
He smirked against your core as his tongue swirled around softly against your clit. He was teasing you, "Ahh daddy, please give me more."
You gripped his hair, and he growled. "No touching baby girl."
He stiffened his tongue making your body shake with each flick of his tongue. He moved so slowly, not rushing. He sucked your clit into his mouth and kissed it, and then licked. You whimpered and moaned fidgeting under him.
He suddenly flicked his tongue fast making your body jolt, he placed his hand on your stomach holding you down, your legs still spread wide for him.
You bit your finger as you tried to hold your moans.
"Don't hold those beautiful moans in baby girl."
He started moving even faster, he slid a finger inside of you curled it up immediately finding the perfect bundle of nerves.
You moaned and tried to arch your back but he held you flat against the bed. Your legs shook and your chest heaved up and down, you gripped the sheets tightly the coiling tightness building inside of you. He added another finger and rubbed against your spot harder sending you over the edge.
A gasping moan left your lips as you shook from the pleasure.
Once you came down from the high you looked up at him, your eyes hooded from tiredness due to the intense orgasm. He pulled his fingers out of you and licked them clean.
"That was sexy as hell baby girl. You are very responsive to my touch which is fun."
He sat up on his knees and took his shirt off, and slid his pants off all of the way fully exposing himself. He was very muscular, and you got embarrassed again.
He hovered over you, "Baby girl no need to be nervous, this isn't your first time right?"
You hid your face from his intense gaze, "No. It's just that you are intimidatingly perfect."
You chuckled and smiled, "You know incubus only will come when summoned if the girl summoning them is beautiful. We have high tastes you know, so you are very beautiful."
You bit your lip, "Why is it that a demon is so sweet?"
He grabbed your legs and placed them over his shoulders as he lined himself up with your core.
"We aren't all bad." He slowly slid himself into you, his dick stretching you out. You wrapped your arms around him, your nails digging into his skin.
He moaned lowly as he finally sunk all the way into you.
You relaxed as you got used to the stretch. "I'm gonna start moving is that okay baby girl?"
"Yes, daddy."
He smirked and connected his lips with yours as he slowly slid out and then thrust back in quickly. He continued at a torturously slow pace not ever moving very quickly.
"Daddy, faster please."
He leaned back gripping underneath your thighs, bending you almost in half. He started thrusting quickly, your body bouncing with each thrust. He moved his hands to your waist as he thrust into you at a very inhuman pace.
Your moans came out strangled and desperate, the pleasure you were feeling was overwhelming. Your mind was clouded with lust.
His eyes turned full black as he groaned and neared his high. You looked at him shocked, but your brain was too clouded to think much about it.
You arched your back and moaned as you started tightening, "D-daddy. I-I'm gonna cum."
He growled out in a dark voice, "Cum baby girl."
The way he said it sent electric shocks through your entire body, you orgasmed so intense a moan couldn't even escape your lips, and you blacked out.
You woke up a bit later to see a sympathetic clothed Wonho next to you. "I'm sorry Y/N, I got carried away."
You smiled and placed your hand on his face. "That was the best orgasm I have ever had. Thank you."
He smiled and kissed your hand, "I will see you next week baby girl."
He snapped and disappeared leaving you to laying there already desperate for his touch.

April 14th, 2020.
The first time you met him, it was raining.
The sky was dark and grey clouds were all that was visible, the sun was out of your sight. Everyone around you was either walking calmly under an umbrella or running around with their jackets or bags above their heads trying to keep themselves dry for as long as they could.
You sat under the roof of the bus stop, the roof provided you with a dry safe place for you to stay under until the rain stops. You watch as the people start to disappear, most of them starting to get picked up, or they’ve bought an umbrella from a nearby store, or just plainly walking in the rain unbothered.
The rain was calming. The sound of the small droplets hitting the ground was soothing in your ears after all of the scoldings you had gotten from your teacher just a few hours ago. The smell of the rain was pleasing, it was light and refreshing- unlike the heavy perfume that was in your face ever since you stepped inside of your high school.
You close your eyes to take in what was happening around you.
Without your sight, your hearing was enhanced and you could hear the little things that were happening around you. You could hear the splashes of rainwater when someone steps in a puddle, the sound of fabric fluttering against the wind when a person opens an umbrella, the joyful laughter of kids who are excited to play in the rain, and the sound of cars passing by- splashing water onto the side of the road.
As you enjoy the noise around you, you hear footsteps slowly making their way towards where you sat. The soft sounds of fabric fluttering around were getting closer, as a soft thud was heard right beside you.
You open your eyes, squinting slightly due to the sudden change in lighting. You look to your left, and there he sat.
He was soaking wet, water dripped down from the little strands of his black hair which he pushed back revealing his handsome face. From his outfit, you could tell he was a student, but you had no clue which school it was.
The boy was wearing a dark navy blue pair of pants and a white blouse, which was now see-through due to the water that it had soaked up. The view made the tips of your ears red and your heart beat, but you quickly shook that thought off- instead, you turned over to your bag before pulling out a hoodie that you always kept with you.
Softly tapping your finger on his shoulders, he turned around to face you. He stares at what was in your hand before he lifted his head to look at you. He had big round eyes and full plump lips, his cheeks had a soft layer of pink on them as it was getting quite cold, and he was wearing a wet outfit. You gesture with your head to your hoodie, telling him silently to use it.
He grabs the warm material from your hand before he turns back around to face the road in front of the two of you and puts the hoodie on. He ruffles his hair while shaking his head, trying to get it as dry as he could, before he puts the hood on and turns to face you again.
“Thank you.” His voice was surprisingly soft. He stares at you once again with those big eyes of his, and you could feel your face getting hot. His eyes were big, but they were dull- as if they’ve seen through everything in the world already and were disappointed. You wondered what the boy had seen to have such an expression in his beautiful eyes, but before you could even open your mouth, the boy looked away.
“You’re welcome.” You look away from the boy and back to the street before the two of you. A comfortable silence falling between the two of you. The both of you did nothing but sat there and watched as cars drove by and waited for the rain to stop, but the rain only started to pour even more. Sighing, you took a look at the boy again, only to find him staring at you already. The two of you quickly broke eye contact and looked away, red blooming on both of your faces. The boy softly clears his throat before he looks at you again.
“Hi,” you turn your head to look at him. “My name is Sunghoon.” He smiled. He hadn’t given you his last name, which was understandable since giving away your full name to a stranger was never a good choice.
You could feel the corners of your lips begin to lift themselves into a smile and you looked at him in the eyes again this time, his eyes had another expression to it- curiosity.
“Hi Sunghoon,” you say, breaking your eye contact before looking down at your hands, “my name is y/n.” you didn’t give him your last name either, not wanting a stranger- well, a handsome stranger to know your full name. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Another wave of comfortable silence falls between the two of you. Grabbing your bag, you shuffle around inside to find your earphones before pulling them out of the bag. Plugging them into your phone you begin to play your playlist, a smile softly forming as your favorite song comes on; Spring Day.
Looking over to Sunghoon, you see that he was just staring out onto the road blankly, seeming bored. You once again poke his shoulder with your finger and you hold up the other earphone to him, silently asking him if he wants to join you in listening to music. Sunghoon looks at you before he reaches out and takes the earphone, whispering a soft thank you to you before he puts it in his ear. The soft melodies of Spring Day flow right in his ear and he smiles, realizing that his favorite song was playing.
Sunghoon begins to hum out the melodies he was hearing out of habit before he realized you were watching him. His face flushed red once again at the thought of you watching him hum, but all you did was smile and began humming the melodies that followed. The two of you locked eyes again, smiles growing wider than before, the two of you began to relax feeling strangely comfortable in each other’s presence and you both began to hum along with Spring day that was playing in both of your ears.
As the melodies come to an end, the rain does too as the grey clouds begin to go away and the sky cleared. The two of you stood up from where you sat for the past 15 minutes (which felt way longer for the both of you) and Sunghoon returned the earphone to you before he started to take the hoodie off.
“Oh, you don’t have to return that.” You told him, and he pauses. “Your shirt underneath is probably still wet so just wear this for now, and you can return it when we meet again.” You gave him a smile.
“We’ll meet again, right?” He smiled at you.
“Maybe.”
“Well then,” you pick up your bag, “Until next time then, Sunghoon.” You wave at him before you walk away, towards the direction of your house. You didn’t turn your head back when you walked away, but if you did then you would’ve known that Sunghoon watched you walk away with a smile until you were out of his field of vision.
“Until next time, y/n.”
And so, when the rain stopped, the two strangers parted ways.
April 23rd, 2020.
It was raining again.
And just like before, you were sitting in the bus stop under the dry haven the roof of the stop had provided you. This time, you had a cup of hot chocolate in your hands, warming you up slightly every time you took a small sip.
You were soaked through with rainwater- it had started raining when you were walking home, and as if it was fate, you arrived at the same bus station you met the boy- Sunghoon, last time.
Despite having a cup of hot chocolate in your hands, your body still shivered from the cold. Your flimsy white blouse doing a horrible job of keeping you warm and covered up as the white blouse was now see-through. You hug your backpack closer to your chest in hopes of warming yourself up and keeping your chest covered from the people who were walking down the streets under their umbrellas.
Everything was just like last time. People are running to get under cover or they are walking around in the rain unbothered. This time you don’t close your eyes. Instead, you looked around, focusing on the things you don’t really see when it wasn’t raining.
You watched as raindrops fell onto the windowpane beside you. The droplets stick to the window slowly moving downwards towards the ground. You watched as the small streaks collided with each other and formed into bigger droplets and bigger streaks. You reach out your hand towards the rain wanting to feel the small, cold droplets on your hand.
You feel a tap on your back and you turn to see Sunghoon smiling at you. You felt as if the world was suddenly silent as you looked into his eyes.
“Hey.” He says, his voice was like that of a feather- soft and gentle and his eyes were those like a child’s, they burned you with curiosity, excitement, and amusement.
“Hi.” You gave him a soft smile, which he returned- his eyes turning into small crescents. He holds out his hands and you look down at them.
“Here,” he hands you the hoodie you had lent him last time, “thank you again, for lending me this last time.” he smiles again, his cheeks rosy and his breath uneven.
“You’re welcome.” you take your hoodie back from his hands, and a soft smell of citrus fills your senses.
“I washed it since it was soaked in rainwater when I got back home, and it was the only thing I could do as a thank you for lending me this” he explained as he plopped onto the seat beside you- exactly where he sat the first time he had met you.
You put the hoodie on quickly, trying to cover yourself up from the boy beside you. Warmth immediately floods your body and the scent of citrus was stronger now that you had the hoodie on.
Silence fills the space between the two of you once again, and you look over to Sunghoon. He was looking down at his phone and was listening to music. You took this time to take a look at what he was wearing. This time, he had on a pair of black ripped jeans, with a white t-shirt, and a black blazer jacket on top, with some silver jewelry to match. You accidentally make eye contact with him as you begin to lift your eyes back up from studying him. You broke eye contact and quickly looked away while a bright red began to bloom on your face.
While trying to calm your fast-beating heart, you feel a soft tap on your shoulder and you look over, only to see Sunghoon smiling at you and offering one of his earphones to you. You smiled and mumbled a small thank you when you took his earphone and the soft tempo of Where the sea sleep began playing. The two of you listen to the song in silence, being completely comfortable with each other- despite it only being the second time you’ve met.
As the song came to an end, you quickly glanced at Sunghoon and you decided to ask more about him.
“How-”
“How-”
The two of you stopped before you both burst into joyful laughter. The earphone that was in your ear falls out and your laughter turns into giggles as you bend down to pick them up, Sunghoon’s laughter still ringing in your ear.
“You can go first-”
“You go first-”
Another wave of laughter hits the two of you as he gestures to you to go first. Taking small breaths, you try to calm yourself down.
“How have you been, Sunghoon?” You gave him a smile, your head tilting slightly watching him in curiosity.
“I’ve been...alright.” He returns your smile. “How about you?” You look away.
“It could be better,” you pause, “but I’ve been fine.”
Slowly, a conversation emerges between the two of you as you enjoy your time together. The music the two of you were listening to disappeared as you began to question each other about different things and got to know each other more.
Still in your own world, the two of you don’t notice that the sky had turned slightly darker and the rain was now slowly going away. As your small conversation ended, you noticed you knew a lot more things about him- nothing too personal, but definitely some interesting things such as the fact that he was a figure skater like you, or that he had the same birthday as you- the same year as well. You find it amazing how the boy in front of you had so many things in common with you.
Grabbing your bag, you stood up from where you sat, and you turned to face Sunghoon.
“Well,” you began, “I guess it’s time for me to go now.” You smiled at him, and you swear you saw Sunghoon’s eyes dim a little at the thought of saying goodbye. Sunghoon gets up as well, throwing his backpack over his right shoulder.
“It was great talking to you y/n,” you felt a small sliver make its way through your body as your name rolled off his tongue. “I hope we can do this again soon.”
“Yeah,” you smile and he waves before he turns around walking away, in the opposite direction of where you are going to go. “Me too.”
And so, when the rain stopped, the two newly made friends walked away.
May 5th, 2020
It’s raining, again.
Rushing to get out of the rain, you run towards the little bus station again, hoping that maybe you could see Sunghoon there later. As the bus station got in your line of sight, you could make out a figure inside the stop. You hesitated to go inside the stop as you didn’t want to bother the person inside, but the rain was getting heavier, so you stepped in.
Bunching up the ends of your skirt, you squeeze it hard trying to get your skirt to be somewhat drier. Wet strands of hair were sticking to your face, you brush your hand through them- pushing them back and showing your forehead. You wipe your face with the wet sleeve of your soaked shirt and a hand reaches out with a handkerchief from beside you and you look up at the owner at the hand.
“Use it.” It was Sunghoon. You could feel your heart start to beat faster and faster, and your whole body begins to feel hot. You smiled at him, taking the handkerchief from his hand and uses it to wipe the water from your face.
“Thank you.” You said to him, your voice being drowned out with the sound of rain falling hard to the concrete streets. Sunghoon watches as you pat away the water on your cheeks, a slow smile stretches on his face as he stares at you.
“Why are you here today?” You asked him as you put your bag down and turned towards him.
“I’m just waiting for the rain to go away, I don’t feel like getting soaked today.” his eyes turn into crescents as he gives you a small grin, a hint of mischief laced in his voice. “What about you?”
“What you said,” You tell him as you look into his eyes. “I’m just waiting for the rain to pass.” You could feel yourself slowly get drawn deeper into his eyes as he stares at you with an emotion you can’t really decipher.
“Well, I guess we can keep each other’s company while we wait.” You break eye contact at the sound of his voice- feeling a small sense of disappointment as you look away. “You won’t mind that would you?”
“No, of course not.”
The two of you exchanged questions and talked about your hobbies for hours, the rain providing you a comfortable setting with its sound and smell- which you both enjoyed. You quickly learned that you both came from rich families and that you both had a deep hatred for the way the high society had so much control over your daily lives- how you both had to put up an act every time you were in the public’s eye. The longer you had talked with Sunghoon the more you noticed different things about him- how little dimples would always show up on his cheeks when he smiled or how he was very expressive with his face, always making cute expressions when he talks about something.
Everytime Sunghoon smiled at you, you could feel your heart explode, everytime he looked at you, you could feel your ears heat up into a bright red. It felt euphoric to be able to spend time with the boy in front of you. From the first day you met him, he had piqued your interest- you wanted to know more about him, ask him why his eyes were so dull that day. But now when you look into his eyes you could see stars- it was like his eyes held the whole universe inside them.
You knew exactly what you were feeling and you were scared. It felt dangerous to fall in love with Sunghoon. He was really no one but a stranger you had meet for a couple of times and you knew little to nothing about him- for all you know if he had could’ve been lying to you ever since you began talking.
When the rain slowly comes to a stop, so does your conversation, and once again the two of you begin to prepare to go your separate ways. Hesitating a bit, you reach out and tap his back with your phone, and he looks at your phone before he looks up at you, staring right into your eyes tilting his head as a silent question.
“Can I…have your number?” He remains silent and still for a second before he breaks into a smile and he grabs your phone out of your hand.
“Of course,” he types in his number on your phone. “I was just about to ask.” He gives your phone back, and you take a look. He had saved himself as “Sunghoonie” with a little penguin emoji behind it making you break into a smile.
“I still have something I have to do, so I'll get going now.” Sunghoon threw his bag over his shoulder and stood up before looking at you. “ I’ll see you next time y/n. I hope you like me enough to send me a text.” He gave you another one of his blinding smiles before he turned away, walking at a quick pace, trying to get home quick as he tried to hide the huge smile that was planted on his face as well as the slight blush that creeped its way onto Sunghoon’s face.
You smiled as you watched as he walked away from where the two of you sat for the past hour and just as you were about to turn and take your leave you noticed the little black and white umbrella that was clipped onto his backpack, the smile on your face growing impossibly bigger as you slowly walked away while the sun behind the grey clouds showed itself once again. Your steps were a little faster than usual, wanting to get back to the house you never called home so that you could text the boy you had just talked to, excitement blooming inside of your stomach and you could only hope that your mom would ignore you instead of yelling at you today.
And so, when the rain stopped, the two red faced teenagers parted ways.
“But mother I don’t want to go the party-“
Before you could finish your words your head was flung to the side, a big red mark started to form on the left side of your face, crystal tears started to form in your eyes.
“It’s the only thing you can do for me and your father after all the things we had to do to raise you up.” She wiped her hands on a white handkerchief before she discarded it in the garbage, “So just do what we are telling you to do like a good daughter- and don’t you dare embarrass us in front of our partners, like how you did last time when you lost in that figure skating competition to the son of Park Jaehwan.”
Your mother snickers at the name, before she looks you in the eyes again. “Do you know how embarrassing it was for us to know that you lost to his son? He was so cocky about it too, always bringing it up everytime we met. Don’t embarrass us again y/n. You know what happens if you do.” She glares at you as a warning one more time before she makes her way up into her study leaving you alone in the living room to cry your heart out at her words.
Your maids (who you see as sisters instead) rush to help you get into your room to get you ready. The oldest and closest to you- Yeji tries to comfort you the best she could as she wipes your tears away.
“Please stop crying y/n, you're going to mess up your pretty eyes.” She signals the other girls to start preparing you. “I know how much you hate this but we have to do this.” You look at her with sad eyes, ones that have seen and been through too many things. Different girls held different things in their hands, one bunch had hair brushes and hair ties in their hands while another bunch had different makeup in their hands. 2 of the girls came up to you as Yeji continued to whisper encouraging comments at you, in their hands was a beautiful white dress- one that would make anyone that’s wore it look like an angel. It wasn’t a very long dress as it only went down to your knee- it was an off-shoulder lace dress with tiny diamonds lined up at the shoulder seam, it was easily one of the most beautiful dresses you’ve seen.
Pushing you into the washroom that was in your room, they all leave you to change into the dress. You put it on gently, afraid that it would rip and you looked into the mirror when you were done.
Oh my god.
You thought as you spun around, watching as the soft silky fabric fluttered in the air. You were in awe at how the dress fitted you perfectly, how it made you look so beautiful- how it made you feel beautiful. A knock on the door disrupts your thoughts as you hear Yeji asking you if you were done and that you needed to get your hair and makeup done.
You open the bathroom door and you watch as all of the maids’ mouths drop open in shock. You let out a cute giggle as they start to snap out of their shock and they began to run around the room like headless chickens trying to get you to look even more beautiful then you are now. Skillful hands were everywhere touching nearly everything, there were hands on your face, fingers in your hair, and you were pretty sure at one point someone’s hand was on your feet putting your shoes on for you but you couldn’t tell.
Once they were done, they had stood you in front of a mirror once again. And if you thought you had looked your best before- you were wrong. Now standing in front of the mirror with your hair done and simple but elegant makeup on your face, you looked like a goddess. The small diamond earrings that were dangling on your ears complemented the diamonds on your dress and the white stiletto heels complimenting your white dress.
Without hearing your mother knock, she slams the door open before she begins to drag you out and rant about being ‘fashionably late’ before you had a chance to say thank you to your maids- so you mouthed it to them and flashed a quick smile before being pushed out of the front door. And into a car that was too expensive to your taste.
It was so boring.
There was nothing to do, and no one to talk to. Everyone that was in the room were adults that were just looking to show off their wealth and power or adults that were looking for new business partners- there was no place for a teenager like you. You were placed next to your mother who was talking to one of her business partners who also had their son standing next to them.
“Hey y/n.” You look over to the voice, “how have you been?” It was the boy that stood beside the man who was talking to your mother.
“Hey Jay,” You lifted your glass of apple juice to him, which he cheered his cup with yours before he downed the whole thing. “I’ve been good, you?” He takes a look at you again before he places his now empty cup on a platter of a nearby servant.
“I’ve been good too.” A small talk begins between the two of you before you are both interrupted by another boy.
“You should really smile y/n, you look like you’d rather die than to be here.” You turn around to the voice only to see Lee Heeseung, another close friend of yours and Jay “Hey Jay.” He says to his cousin before they do their little handshake.
“Shut up Hee, you know how much I hate being in these parties.” The named boy lets out a small chuckle before he pats your shoulder in a teasing manner.
Slowly, as the three of you quietly talk in your own little circle, more and more teenagers joined you- some boys named Sunoo, Jungwon, and Riki along with a girl named Ryujin.
The topics the seven of you talked about flew around everywhere, quickly changing as a person talked about something else that interested the rest of the six. Suddenly, a loud sound came out of nowhere as a rainstorm slowly brewed outside the window. Everyone inside the beautifully decorated ballroom paid no attention to the weather outside as they continued to dance and chat inside the dry, brightly lit golden room.
You stared outside into the rain a little longer than everyone else, your mind wandering off to the boy named Sunghoon. You wondered if he was thinking about you right now- if he wanted to meet you again.
Feeling a light tug on your dress, you look away from the world outside to Ryujin who was looking at someone in the crowd. She inches a little closer to you before bringing her mouth near your ear.
“Someone’s been staring at you for a while now,” she pauses, looking back to the crowd again. “I don’t know if you know him or something, but he doesn’t seem to hold any hostility to you from what I see.” Her eyes searched the crowd before quickly pointing to the two boys that were talking near the wall opposite to your group.
You recognized the boy in the navy blue suit right away- it was Jake Shim, a distant cousin of Jay. The two of you never talked much but the two of you still considered each other friends. You squint a little at the second boy who's back faced you, the boy wore a white suit and he had black hair that was slightly slicked back.
Your eyes widened as the two of you made eye contact, and you suddenly felt as if everyone else in the room had disappeared leaving only you and Sunghoon in the room. Sunghoon’s face matches yours as his eyes widen slightly and his mouth opens to let out a small gasp of surprise.
You were so caught up in surprise at the sight of Sunghoon that you didn’t notice Jake waving excitedly at his cousin and had begun dragging Sunghoon to your group. You snap out of your surprise as Jake waves his hand in front of your face in excitement before saying his greetings.
“Hey y/n! It’s nice to see you again!” He smiled at you and you were flustered at his puppy-like personality. He points to Sunghoon as he begins introducing the two of you. “This is Park Sunghoon, he’s my best friend in high society! If I remembered correctly, you skate right? Sunghoon here also skates a lot, maybe you guys can be friends or something!” You stared at Sunghoon for a few seconds before you tore your eyes from him to look at Jake who seemed like an excited puppy waiting for your compliments.
“Hi Sunghoon, it’s nice to meet you.” You gave Sunghoon a tight lipped smile- one that never reached your eyes.
“Hello, y/n. I’ve heard a lot about you.” He also smiles, but it was one that looked forced- unlike all of the ones you’ve seen on his lips when you talked at the bus station. Jake leaves the two of you to greet his cousin and the rest of your friends. The two of you were quiet, not knowing what to say to each other in a situation like this.
“So-“
“How-“
The two of you pause for a second before laughter bloomed between the two of you, finding his situation familiar. Sunghoon gestures to you to go first as the laughter begins to quiet down.
“So...how have you been?” You asked him quietly as the atmosphere around the two of you began to feel awkward once again. It’s been over a week since you’ve seen Sunghoon and seeing him here was surprising as you didn’t expect to see him again.
“I’ve been good,” he sighed, “I didn’t really want to come but now I’m glad I did since I got to see you.” He smiles again- this time, it was genuine and his big eyes turned into little crescents. Out of nowhere, he suddenly grabs your hand before he drags you to a balcony door, he pushes you inside and closes the door when he gets inside himself.
The balconie was quite spacious and it had a roof so the rain didn’t get to the two of you. The two of you stand next to each other in silence as the rain once again accompanied the two of you, silently helping the two of you get comfortable with it’s sounds of raindrops falling to the ground.
“You look beautiful today.” Sunghoon breaks the silence between the two of you as he stared into the rain, thanking god in his head that it was already dark outside so that you couldn’t see the deep blush that was painted on his face.
Under the dim light the moon provides the two of you with, you finally took your time to study Sunghoon. Today, he was wearing a white silk suit, his silky black hair was slick back and his plump lips looked as if they were painted with a slight red tint- making his face look even more attractive (if that was even possible).
“Thank you,” you were glad that your maids had used foundation on your face today to cover up the nasty mark your mother had given to you otherwise, Sunghoon would definitely see the red blush that crept onto your cheeks. “You look handsome today too,” You giggled as you looked down at your own outfit. “We match.”
He looks at your outfit, staring at you with his big eyes before he looks down on his own clothes.
“We are,” he laughs as he looks back up at you. “What a coincidence.” Silence befalls the two of you once again and the rainstorm starts to slow down as you stare at each other in silence. It felt as if there were only the two of you left on the balcony and you wanted the time to stop right at this moment. You both stared at each other in silence, forgetting about everyone that was in the room behind the closed door. Just as you were about to open your mouth to talk to him, the balcony door suddenly busted open, and there stood your mother- her face was red in you didn’t know if it was embarrassment or anger and her biggest rival, Park Jaehwan standing right behind her, staring at the boy next to you in disappointment.
“What are you doing with that boy y/n.” She states rather than ask, “get over here. Now.” You don’t move, wondering why she was so angry at the moment.
Instead of waiting for you to move, your mother walks over to you instead and wraps her hand around your forearm, her grip was tight and her nails dogged into your skin. The man behind her calmly walks to Sunghoon before he pats him on the shoulders.
“Dad.” You turn your head in surprise and your eyes grow big.
Dad?
Sunghoon is Park Jaehwan’s son?
“What were you doing with Min Soonyeon’s daughter here?” He questions Sunghoon as he burns holes onto your skin with his stares.
“We were just…” He makes eye contact with you and you can see the gears in his head turning to come up with a lie.
“We-“
“We were just getting to know each other.” You cut through what Sunghoon was about to say and the older man glares at you while your mother’s grip on your hand tightens around your arm.
“I did not ask you girl, I asked my son here.” He tells you, his tone hostile and he turns his glare from you to your mother then back to you again. “Don’t answer what was not asked of you, it’s basic manners- but I don’t blame you, being the daughter of Soonyeon it was expected you won’t know such a thing.”
Your mother scoffs as she pulls on your arm and hides your body with hers before she glares at the older man.
“I don’t think you should say that Jaehwan, seeing that your son couldn’t even answer a simple question.” Your mother glances at Sunghoon who was silently just staring at you before she turned her eyes back onto Jaehwan. “I can see that he got that from you Jaehwan. I must say however, he’s definitely a better man than you- at least he isn’t cocky over the stupidest things like you.” She hisses before she turns on her heels, dragging you by your arm to the balcony door.
“Let’s go y/n, we don’t want to continue to talk to these unruly men.” You look back just as you cross the door to see Sunghoon staring at you with sad eyes and he mouths a small ‘sorry’ to you.
“It’s alright, I’m sorry about my mother.” You mouthed to him just before he disappears from your line of sight as your mother drags you out the front lobby and into your car.
You can tell that your mother was filled to the brim with anger and you chose to shut your mouth in order to not anger her more. A small ‘ding’ comes from your phone and you bring it up to your face to check.
Sunghoon 🐧: I’m so sorry about that y/n. What my dad said to you was rude and I’m sorry you had to hear that.
You smile at the name. You bring your hand up to your phone as you begin to type your reply.
You: It’s really nothing Sunghoon, trust me, I’ve heard worse. I’m sorry about my mother, she really doesn’t have a filter for anyone. I hope you weren’t offended by that.
Sunghoon 🐧: It’s fine y/n. Really 😄 You looked really beautiful tonight y/n, I don’t remember if I’ve told you that and even if I did, I’ll say it again- you looked amazing tonight. It was great talking to you tonight, I had fun. 😁 I have to go now, but it was really nice seeing you tonight.
You: Thank you Sunghoon, you looked handsome as well, I almost thought you were a prince from a fairytale 😉 But it was great talking to you again, I really didn’t expect to see you at the party but I’m glad I did. Goodnight Sunghoon, sweet dreams.
You closed your phone as you stared outside to the passing buildings, watching as the rain finally stops . Your head spinning with joy and your face flushed with bright red, and a huge smile decorated your face.
What you didn’t know however was that Sunghoon on the other side of the phone was just like you- his face was red and a smile decorated his face as he talked with your friends who were still at the party, the image of you smiling in the dress you wore never leaving his mind.
And so, when the rain stopped, the two lovestruck teenagers parted ways.
It’s been weeks since you’ve seen Sunghoon at the party, and since then the both of you have been texting non-stop over the phone. Every little thing in your everyday life was shared with Sunghoon- how your lunch had tasted that day, or how a boy spilt some coffee on you by accident, and even you helping a elderly lady across the streets, Sunghoon listened on and on- never cutting you off. He just listens quietly to you as you happily tell him everything, smiling as he realizes how happy you were that day, or he would have a frown stretched on his face in worry as he listens to you.
Sunghoon was a simple man.
He never said much even when the two of you got closer together. He never shared much about his life like you did. He always just smiled and said a simple “It was alright” when you’d ask him about his day, or he would shake his head in denial when you’d ask him if there was something bothering him. Soon you had realized that that was just how Sunghoon is- simple, quiet.
A silent promise was made between the two of you when you had met for the fifth time under the same bus stop you and him met nearly half a year ago. It was raining- again, that day when the two of you saw each other after texting for so long without seeing each other.
It was just like the first time you met him- he was soaked from head to toe in rainwater and you just so happened to have a spare hoodie inside your backpack. It was like meeting him for the first time all over again, but this time, a new feeling bloomed inside both of your young hearts- burning with heavy passion and love. It was so painfully obvious to the both of you what that feeling was- love.
From that day on, you both would always find yourself going to the bus station whenever it rained- it didn’t matter if you guys were doing anything, you just knew that you wanted to see each other again.
So you go. To the same damn place that you both loved so much.
And he would always be there. Every. Single. Time. And so would you. The rainstorm never stopped either of you from going with it’s rain water, it never mattered if you were soaked in rain or that you’d get sick the next day- all you cared for at that exact moment was Sunghoon.
The boy you fell in love with.
The quiet, gentle, and loving boy that you meet on this one rainy day by chance.
Every time it rained, the two of you would talk hours on hours about anything and everything. He would hold your hand in his larger, warmer ones, rubbing his long, thin fingers across the back of your hand in a soft, loving manner and you would lay your head on his shoulders- taking in his soft citrus scent that you grew to love so much that you searched through the entire city of Seoul to find one that only came close to the one he used.
It always felt as if the two of you were the only ones in the world when the rain fell. You felt euphoric when you would hug inside your small world under the roof of the bus stop, and he would tell you how much he loved you.
It might have been fast to other people, but to the two of you- it felt as if it was natural. The love you had for each other felt so strong, so obvious that even without words, passerbys could tell how much the two of you loved each other.
But every time when the rain stopped, the two of you parted ways. As if everything was normal, as if you never knew him more than Park Sunghoon, the son of Park Jaehwan’s son, your biggest competitor in the ice skating world, and the son of your mother’s biggest rival- as if you never spilled “I love you''s to each other.
When the rain stops, so does your heart. It stops beating for anything else in the world and when the rain falls, your heart beats again- in a fast, rapid pace that you’ve never felt before unless you were with Sunghoon.
The rain was your safe haven- for it always meant you could meet Sunghoon again. That you can run without care in the world right into the safety of his arms, and that you could stay there until the rain stops again.
It was clear to you at this point that there was no pulling back. You were in love with the rain as well as the boy in front of you- Park Sunghoon- and there was no way you could ever stop.
Your head twists to the side as a loud slap echoed around the house you never called home. The bright, glowing red mark on your cheek stinging as you see your mother glaring at you with hatred in the corner of your eyes. You notice your dad just sitting on the couch reading his newspaper as if the scene happening in front of him didn’t;t happen at all.
“HOW DARE YOU!” Your mother screamed at you while holding your phone in her hands, your texts with Sunghoon over the years clear to everyone who walks by. “YOU’VE BEEN TALKING TO PARK JAEHWAN'S SON FOR NEARLY A YEAR BEHIND OUR BACKS?!” She screams again, her hand raised and flies down to meet your cheeks with a hard slap, turning your head to the other side.
You don’t dare look at her, too afraid to see what she looked like right now. Your mother had found out about you texting with Sunghoon when she had looked over your shoulder when you were texting him and now here she is- your phone in her death grip and she stared at you with pure hatred in her eyes.
All of the workers in the house silently watched as your mother screamed at you, too afraid of what she might do to them if they spoke up.
You tune out all of the remarks your mother was making at you and you dip your head down, staring at the pair of sneakers Sunghoon bought for you when he saw your soaked shoes one day. Since then, the both of you always exchanged little gifts with each other. And soon enough, the two of you confirmed your feelings with each other.
Although neither of you ever vocally confirmed but it was as clear as the day that you were in love and in a relationship- with all the sweet, flirty talks (that you never knew he could say) from him and all of the actions from you, the two of you made a perfect couple in other’s eyes.
But when your mother found out, she was furious- no. The word furious couldn’t even compare to what she is right now. Her face was red in anger and you could practically see smoke coming out of her nose and ears. Her eyes glared at you as if you were never her daughter and her teeth grinder against each other so hard that you were (slightly, but not really) worried that they might fall out.
“SPEAK! YOU ARE NOT DEAF NOR ARE YOU MUTE. TALK! WHY WERE YOU TALKING TO PARK SUNGHOON?”
You didn’t answer. Knowing you’ll only get even more scolding.
Another slap was delivered to your face when you didn’t answer. This time, the slap was so hard against your head, you could feel your ears ring and your vision turned a bit blurry.
Your father must have seen you look hazy as he finally stood up from his seat on the couch and stopped your mother from slapping you again.
“Stop it now Soonyeon. That’s enough. Y/n go to your room, now. You’re not going to get any food for tonight as a punishment, and if I find any of you giving y/n food,” he pointed towards the maids, “then you will also serve a punishment.” Your father looked at you one more time as you stared at the floor, his stares burning into your skull.
He sighs, “I’m very disappointed in you y/n.” Crack. “Why can’t you just listen to us once and behave?” Crack. “Just…get out of my sight and go to your room. You need to reflect on what you’ve done.” Crack. “And you won’t be getting your phone back until you realize that you need to break up with that…that boy.” And just like that, your father breaks your heart and leaves with your mother towards his office, leaving you alone in the living room.
All of the workers that were just watching rushes up to you to check up and help you. Asking you left and right about how you were feeling, if you needed ice or face cream for your cheeks. You ignore all of them and head right into your room, closing your door loudly, surprising everyone who was in the house.
Tears formed in your eyes as you thought about what your father said. About how he was disappointed in you and that you never behaved the way they wanted you to- even though all you ever did growing up was doing everything they ask (or rather ordered) you to do, wishing for nothing more than a single compliment from them or maybe a single hug from them.
But as you began to grow up, you realized how those things that was normal to everyone else were something impossible for you to get. Your parents only ever cared about their business and their status. Never did they really care about you or your happiness. If they really did, then they would have noticed how happy you sounded when you were texting Sunghoon, or how you were getting happier day by day when you were with Sunghoon- but ah, of course they didn’t. They don’t even care anyways.
Grabbing your old phone from your bedside cabinet, you text Sunghoon with your old number (which he saved for emergencies like these!).
You: Hey Sunghoon, let’s meet up later tonight.
Sunghoonie💞: sure, but are you okay? Why are you texting like that? Is something bothering you?
You smile, feeling giddy to know that Sunghoon could notice these little things about you, but your smile drops as you realize what you needed to tell him later.
You: Um, yeah. I need to tell you something, and I’d rather tell you in person…
Sunghoonie💞: Of course, anything for you. Same place at same time?
You: yeah, like always.
Sunghoonie💞: alright, remember to bring an umbrella tonight, the forecast said it might rain tonight. I love you ❤️
Your heart skips a beat.
You: Thanks Hoonie, you too. I love you too ❤️
You put down your phone and you let out a big sigh. Why did the world hate you so much?
You wait in the bus stop with two cups of hot coffee in your hands.
And somehow, although it was in the middle of winter right now, it was still raining.
You sit under the dimly lit bus station as you wait for Sunghoon to show up. The sky was dark, and the streets were empty and silent. You watched silently as the raindrops fell to the ground in front of you, as you waited, and waited, and waited…but he didn't show up.
It’s been hours since the promised time, and yet he hasn’t shown up. You put down the now cold cups of coffee to check your phone to see if you had missed a message from him or something- but there was nothing. He hasn’t even read your latest message that was sent two hours ago.
Feeling discouraged and cold, you throw the two cold cups of coffee in the nearest trash can as an ambulance speed passes you, in a rush to get to the hospital as fast as they could. Somehow, your heart felt heavy at that moment, as if it was telling you- warning you about something, but you ignored it and started to make your way home.
The rain never stopped. It didn’t stop when you sneaked out the door of your house, it didn’t stop when you got to the station, and it didn’t stop when you were waiting- fuck, it’s still raining now as you walked back home under the same umbrella Sunghoon carried that one day you guys met. The same one that was black and white, the same one that Sunghoon hid behind his backpack when he met you for the third time under the same bus station you were just at.
As you walked your mind kept going over all of the possibilities of why Sunghoon didn’t come. Maybe he was caught by his parents? Or maybe he had something to do last minute?
You walked slowly through the dimly lit streets, your head in the clouds but you never noticed the two shadows that were slowly creeping up behind you.
Before you could even scream, your mouth was covered by a large dirty hand and before you could even process what was happening, you were dragged into a dark alleyway, leaving your (or Sunghoon’s) umbrella on the ground.
“Give us everything on you. Right now.” A hoarse voice calls out beside you and a cold, sharp object pricks your side. Tears rush to your eyes as you begin to shake- terrified for your life, but you don’t move, cold rain drops making your clothes and hair wet.
“I said give me everything on you right. Now!” The man in front of you whisper-yelled, afraid of waking up the neighborhood if he was too loud.
You don’t move, still frozen in fear but a quick, hard slap to your face snaps you out of it.
I don’t wanna die.
You think to yourself.
I still have so many things I want to do. I don’t wanna die.
With a shaky hand, you begin to remove all of the jewelry on you- the earrings you got from your parents when you reached adulthood and the ring you had gotten from your grandmother. You remove your purse from your shoulder before you handed everything to the two thieves.
“Please-please just let me go now, I pro-promise I won’t tell anyone!” Your words shuddered over one another and your voice was shaky, anyone could tell that you were absolutely terrified right now, but the two don’t move.
“We want that too.” The man beside you tells you and he reaches out to touch the necklace on your neck. You shrink yourself away from him, terrified of what he was going to do.
“No! You-you can’t take this! Anything but this!” You yelled at them before they slapped you again making you quickly slap your mouth.
“Shut up you bitch! Do you want to die? Now give us that necklace!” The man in front of you yells while he tries to take the necklace of you himself.
“No!” You try to get away from the man’s hold.
The necklace was something you can not ever give away. It was the first ever gift you had received from Sunghoon, and you didn’t want to ever give it to the filthy criminals that were in front of you.
“Ugh, you bitch! Just give it to us and we’ll leave you alone!” The man beside you tells you as he also joins in the small fight between the man and you for your necklace.
A sudden strike of pain hits you on the side and everything stops.
Slowly, you lose the energy to stand up on your own and you drop down to the floor, a warm, wet substance soaking the back of your shirt, the salty drops of rain hitting your face directly. The two men quickly run away, grabbing all the stuff that you had previously given them when they hear a man shout at the beginning of the alleyway., but not bothering to take your necklace anymore.
Everything felt hazy now, and you couldn’t see anything with your vision bury and black spots filling your vision. You could hear a muffled voice of a man calling for help from you don’t know who, but you could feel your body getting lighter and lighter. The calming sensation of laying on the ground and the cold rain hitting your warm body takes over, and you close your eyes.
Am I dying?
Who are you kidding, of course you were. There was no way you weren’t. A stinging pain was pounding against your left side where one of the men had a knife against you, and it doesn't take a genius to know what happened- even if you were starting to feel more and more sleepy.
Knowing yourself that you’ve already bled too much and that there was no saving you anymore, you let your mind rest and just think about all of the happy things you’ve been through in life- but there were no signs of your parents.
Instead, all you could see when you closed your eyes was the face of your lover. The very man that your parents wanted you to stay away from- the very man you were going to break up with tonight. The man you loved with your whole heart- Park Sunghoon.
His smile, his laugh, all of his small habits, all of the time the two of you skated together, and all of the time you talked under the bus station flew through your mind like a record. All of the happy memories in your too short of a lifetime plays in the matter of a few minutes inside your head, and you do nothing else other than smile when you feel hands over your body, placing you on a soft bed and into an ambulance.
I love you.
You think as tears slowly seeps through the corner of your eyes.
I love you Sunghoon.
His face shows up inside your head again.
Thank you for loving me.
Your hand drops.
And the rain stopped.
Your parents run into the emergency room frantically, both of their hearts heavy with both guilt and worry.
“How is she Doctor?! She’s okay right?” Your mother asks ina. Hurry, not even caring about her image anymore, tears gathered in her eyes as she held onto your father’s arms for support. Your father’s face was void of any emotions but his eyes betrayed him with them over spilling with worry.
Your doctor shakes his head.
“I’m so sorry but the patient had already died when she was on her way to the hospital. I couldn’t do anything for her any more. I’m sorry for your loss. Y/n l/n, time of death; December 8th, 00:13am.” He explains before bowing his head and leaving.
Your mother breaks down in tears as she drops down to the floor, guilt filling her entire body.
If only she didn’t yell at you.
If only she didn’t tell you that you were a disappointment.
If only she didn’t tell you to break up with Sunghoon.
If only she told you she loved you.
Your father stands still as a tear finally runs down one of his eyes. All of the memories of you played over and over again in his mind, from when he first held you in his arms the time when you said your first words, you walking by yourself for the first time, and all of the other things he wished he treasured more when he still had time.
The two of them walked out the door to the emergency room as your body was rolled out with a white blanket on your face by the nurses. Your mother cried even more seeing your body, knowing that everything that happened to you was mostly her fault.
Not far from where your parents stood, another pair of grieving parents were crying over their now dead child.
“This is all your fault!” The woman screamed at her husband. “If you never yelled at him or tried to control him he would’ve never been there!”
The woman breaks down again, as her husband looks down in shame, guilt, and sadness. His only child, his only son was now dead because he tried to make him break up with his beloved.
Sunghoon was now dead because of him.
If only he didn’t yell Sunghoon earlier, then he wouldn’t have tried to meet up with y/n. If he didn’t try to meet with y/n, then he never would’ve died.
Then he would never have been hit by a car.
Maybe it was all because of the two family’s selfishness that led to their only child’s death or perhaps this is just how their story was about to end.
The boy who tried to get to the girl he loved in order to satisfy his father by breaking her heart and the girl who tried to meet with the boy she loved to break his heart. In order to be the good girl her family wanted her to be.
Perhaps it was fate that they both died trying to meet, or maybe they were just never meant to be together and the stars decided to punish them.
How ironic was it that they had both got into an accident near each other, and died on their birthday at the same time?
How ironic that it was their love that led to their own deaths?
How ironic was it, that when the two died, the rain finally stopped?
Mayhaps this was their fate, to fall in love and die. Or maybe, this was all just some kind of sick joke that god played.
Either way, when the rain stopped, two young lovers parted ways. Even death itself could not keep them away.
Hopefully, through their deaths they can finally find their own happiness.
When the rain stops, two lovers parted ways, both of them on their way to meet each other once again at the gates of heaven.

Puppy love 🐾
𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠; Bang Chan x Gn!reader
𝐠; fluff (?) . smidge of angst . Ex!bf chan // 𝐜𝐰; none :)) // 𝐰𝐜; 1.8k
𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬; When you moved back in your home town, you unexpectedly meet the one person you didn't plan on seeing again.
𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭; @heyitstacy
𝐀𝐧; I don't even know if this is fluff...? Also, the exes talking again after not seeing together for a long time trope is liek, one of my favourite uhh tropes(?). *cough* winter nights *cough*. Anyways, the titrle doensnt make sense but cause berry is here just go with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Also this isn't proof read so excuse any incorrect grammars and typos.
You gently placed the last box onto the living room floor, exhaling a deep sigh as you crack your aching back. After a few hours, you've finally finished moving the boxes from the moving van into your home.
Looking around the place, you can still feel that distinct feeling from when you were younger. Having to move out as soon as you graduated senior year of high school in another country, you had already forgotten what home feels like. Coming back home was one of your plans after college, moving back in was definitely not. But your mother insisted and you gave in, only until you found your own place.
You started unwrapping the fragile knick-knacks and breakable accessories, handling each one with care, as you wiped dust that might have collected whilst being inside the box. Placing them where it cannot be knocked over easily.
As you go through each box, you notice how much stuff you put inside without realizing if it was important or not. Like the little porcelain cat figure, with it's tiny collar and bell was one, but in the back of your mind, it tells you that that piece of decoration is important. You sniffled a laugh at the thought, putting it back inside its box.
Next thing you pulled was a black box labeled "memories". You were definitely gonna waste time going through these instead of cleaning and unpacking. You opened the box, revealing piles of pictures and polaroids. Some with notes in the back that you were surely gonna take time to read.
You stare at each picture, noticing at how much you've changed over the years. Even your friends that you haven't seen in a while. Some pictures were taken in college, with the new camera one of your high school best friends gave you as a moving away gift. You definitely didn't put it to waste.
Getting more invested as you finish tackling the college photos, and just as you are about to get to the next pile, the bell on the doggy door rings, indicating an animal has gotten in. You wondered if it's your dogs finally running to you even after hours of your arrival. But to your surprise, it was the dog you never knew you'd see again.
"Berry, hi, where did you come from," you can recognize that color and smile anywhere. She sniffed your body, remembering the scent she would smell often. Jumping up and down in excitement. "Did Hannah let you out again?" You say, rubbing her ears as she tries to lick your face.
You hear the doorbell ring. "Must be Hannah to pick you up," you took her in your arms, making your way to the front door. And when you saw the person in front of you, your face dropped.
Out of shock you slammed the door shut in front of his face. You were mentally freaking out. Not letting go of berry you stood there rooted in place. You didn't expect to run into someone this soon and especially not him.
Your mind in shambles as you try to compose yourself. But soon when you realized what you just did, you sheepishly grinned at him as you opened the door again.
"So sorry about that," you say, rubbing the back of your neck.
"It's not a problem, I'm sorry about berry," he reached out to take her from your arms.
"Oh no, it's ok, it's good to see her again after a while," you smiled at the dog as she opened her mouth in a smile.
"No wonder she got excited and tried to get out to your front door." The air was thick, slowly drowning you two in awkwardness. It's been almost 7 years since you've last talked. Time surely does go by fast.
Chan became more broader and built, not fairly tall but still taller than before. His dimples seemed to have gotten deeper considering it can show even if he isn't smiling. His hair is still a mess but it's a prettier mess since his hair has become curlier than before. His cute lips still stuck in a line, trying to think of conversations to break the ice.
"So, did you just get here?"
"Yeah, I'm actually unpacking right now," he nodded, still avoiding eye contact with you.
"Do you wanna help me unpack? I mean, you don't have to."
"Sure."
And so, the two of you got to work. He helped you unpack everything out of the box and just started sorting from there.
Chan was going through the accessory box and saw the familiar ring in the pile of bracelets and necklaces. He recognizes the ring because he bought that couple rings in high school, symbolizing a promise you made. Unfortunately, Chan still remembers that painful scene in his head.
You were too busy rummaging through a box filled with clothes to notice Chan staring at the piece of metal in his hands. His mind played bits of memories you two had, even the ones that weren't very good.
"Have you finished staring at that box?" You said, snapping him out of his daze.
"Uh yeah."
You spot the ring he held in his hands.
"You still kept it." He said. Sounding shocked as if you were supposed to keep it.
You nodded.
It was a special part of your life, of course you are gonna keep it. As someone very sentimental, you keep anything and everything that has a special significance in your life. Even the bad ones.
"It was the time I had my first boyfriend."
Chan hummed, knowing he was your first boyfriend. He gave you that ring during your first year of senior high, it was a very special moment for him as well.
'...and my first heartbreak' you finished in your thoughts.
Your break up with chan ended on a good note, but you can't deny the fact that it hurts. Both of you realized that after high school, you are gonna be miles apart. You are going to another country while Chan stays here.
The wind blew cold on this winter night. The moon glowing bright in the dark starry sky.
You and Chan went out to an abandoned park after your graduation ceremony. Just having a chat, talking about plans in college.
You and Chan went out to an abandoned park after your graduation ceremony. Just having a chat, talking about plans in college.
"So you are going to America, right?" You nodded. You already know where this is going but you can feel the tears that are fighting to spill.
"And I'm staying here…" the distance is overwhelming but Chan knows he can. But he doesn't know that you can't.
"We could call evernight, well it'll be hard because of the timezones."
You gripped the chain holding up the swings you were on. You didn't want to hurt him and this decision you made on your own made you feel selfish. You were breaking up with him just because you couldn't handle the distance that will come in between you in college.
You didn't want to spend your college years with your boyfriend halfway across the world. You are already expecting a lot of school work and lectures, not to mention the course you picked that will give you hell.
"And maybe I could go to you during break, tickets will be expensive but think of it as a vacation."
You wanted him to stop, this is already making you rethink your decision. But it wouldn't be fair for him when he's the only one fighting to keep this relationship.
"Chan I'm sorry," you croaked, a single tear spilled from your eyes. "I'm sorry, I— I don't think I can do that," you managed to let out.
You looked at him, his face didn't show any signs of pain. He probably thought of this outcome. He knew the possibilities after knowing you would be away for college. He was ready for it, but can't deny the fact that it still pained him.

"It's ok y/n"
"No it's not ok! This is— this is selfish of me to do, I didn't even talk to you about I, we haven't even tried it and I'm already giving up—"
"Hey, It's ok, you are not giving up, you know what's best— I shouldn't have thought of what you wanted when I talked about keeping this relationship. I'm actually very proud of you for deciding this on your own, I know it was hard for you."
His voice cracked once, but his face remained expressionless.
He quickly built up the wall in front of him, hiding the pain that lingered through his veins.
"If anything, I'll wait for you—"
"Don't. Please, I mean it's not that I don't love you anymore but I don't want to hold you back, go date someone else if you want to, just don't wait for me."
He didn't say anything further. Standing up to make his way in front of you, reaching his hand out for a hug. And you gave him a hug, one you'll miss once you fly to the states. His voice you'll miss hearing every night before going to bed, and his soothing touch that always calms you down.
"I love you." You said, as you sob into his shoulder.
"I love you too."
Chan reaches into his hoodie, taking out a necklace with the ring tied to it. You felt your stomach churn.
That gave you a feeling that he still did wait for you. That he still has feelings for you. Either the same ones or he is feeling something stronger.
"I'm in town for the next few weeks but I'll be traveling for work."
You both aren't kids anymore, you have your own lives to get back to. But Chan still wants you to be part of his life. And you are sure that you wanted it as well.
"So your dream to be a music producer came true?" He gave you a smile. It's definitely not weird how you still remember something so trivial about your ex that you were supposed to forget, but how could you? He talked about it so much in the past, it's hard to forget.
"It took some hard work but it paid off in the end." He rolled the ring in his hands, feeling the carved out designs on the metal.
"How about you?"
"I got a job at a journaling company near town, years of photography finally paid off," you proudly boasted. Chan smiled, knowing how much that meant to you.
Both your lives took off in the right direction but the both of you knew there's something missing. Sure you are both happy but, that missing piece was each other. You wanted Chan to be there with you when you graduated in college, when you succeeded in getting a job. And Chan wanted the same.
"While we are both still here, maybe we could go out sometime?" He proposed.
"Sure."
You should be thanking the dog for making him come to your house, for letting him help you unpack and finally getting to talk again.
And maybe, you could start a new chapter in your lives, together again.

-[ skz; inviting their crush to the gym/swimming pool and noticing their crush’s other tattoos when he walks out shirtless
P: stray kids x male reader | G: fluff, reaction, request | Inc: swimming, the gym, a ton of admiration on the boys' part, implied nudity (bc swimming lol), blossoming crushes, tattoos, Felix is a little shit | Wc: 1.74k| W: implied nudity, tattoos | R: PG13
Minnie's notes; god this became a monster of its own creation lol, for some reason I kept making each one longer and longer- this was fun!
Bang Chan | 방찬
You and Chan go swimming after gym fairly regularly together, so logic says that Chan shouldn’t be surprised when he sees you shirtless – he lives with three other guys, two of which share his relaxed outlook about walking around shirtless. He’s seen most of your tattoos as well. This is normal for Chan.
What isn’t normal is the heat rushing to his cheeks when you pop out of the changing rooms – shirtless – asking if he has a spare shirt you can borrow because you forgot yours. No, Christopher Chan Bang doesn’t have a crush on you that’s been bubbling away for weeks.
Absolutely not.
“Hyung..? You okay?” Ohoho, was that a new tattoo on the small of your back? When did you get it done? Why does he want to run his hands over it?
“Uh— yeah, yeah…I’m fine~ I’ll grab it, don’t move y/nie~” Hopefully you didn’t notice him sparing a second glance to admire your new body art. And the bright red blush on his face.
Lee Minho | 이민호
Minho enjoys going to the gym with you; you’re a motivational workout buddy, funny, are eager to try whatever food he makes afterwards, and did he mention that he’s fascinated with your tattoos? You look fucking amazing, in his humble opinion.
No he isn’t a little fixated on them, shut up. And no, his ears do not become red when he catches a peek of your tattoos – especially your pecs – when you’re sweating after a workout.
What do you take him for? A schoolboy with a crush?
Okay, maybe he has a crush on you. Sue him. You’re attractive as fuck (his words) and a great person; what was he supposed to do? Not fantasise about those arms?
So when you crash at his dorm after a late night gym session and pop into the living area to ask him if you can borrow a shirt – while entirely shirtless, in front of the others – his ears are bright red. His gaze fixes on the new tattoos across your chest and he malfunctions in real time, ignoring the kids staring at his reaction.
“Just— just pick anything you want.” Did this man just stutter?
“Sure thing hyung~ thanks!”
Seo Changbin | 서창빈
Changbin met you at the gym and the pair of you immediately hit it off. You admired his commitment to working out and staying in shape, and Binnie couldn’t help but be fascinated by how sweet and soft you seemed in comparison to the sheer number of impressive tattoos you have.
So he’s not exactly surprised when he finds himself infatuated with you. What can he say? Changbin is a confident man, and he knows what he likes. And it just so happens that you are exactly his type.
He’s a bashful admirer, your Binnie.
So when he invites you to go swimming with him and the other members on a day off, don’t be surprised when you catch Changbin gazing at some of your newer tattoos with a blush on your face. Perhaps forgetting to pack a spare shirt for the pool wasn’t the worse mistake you’ve ever made. As for the man himself, he’s going to want to hear all about his crush’s new body art. Quite delectable body art, if I might add~
Hwang Hyunjin | 황현진
Frankly, it’s a miracle that you even met Hyun at the gym to begin with, that man avoids the place as often as he can. And can you blame him? He lives with 3Racha after all, that’s enough gymbro energy for him. But yes, you end up meeting Hyunjin at the gym, while you’re doing some light weights and he catches sight of your partial sleeve and the top of your chest tattoo through your vest. During a conversation while you’re spotting him and he finds out you’re his hyung, it’s settled.
New muse acquired.
For days afterwards, Hyunjin’s sketchbooks and canvases are full of tattoos, imagery and artistic rendition of you all from all your consequential outings together after your initial meeting.
And like the hopeless romantic that Hyunjin is, it takes him little time to fall for his newest muse. His art becomes more and more romantic (if possible) and there’s more reservation on his end because Hyunjin now wants anything he makes for you to be absolutely perfect. It’s for you, of course. His y/n hyung.
When you invite him swimming over the summer, Hyunjin quite positively loses his mind over some of the newer tattoos he sees across your chest and abdomen while you’re looking for the shirt you packed. Ever the tits man that he is, Hyunjin can’t help but give your newly tatted pecs a loving squeeze – with your permission of course. I give this man around five days before he confesses his feelings lol.
Han Jisung | 한지성
Between you and me, I would be a dirty liar if I didn’t think Jisung was immediately infatuated with the ‘buff tattoo guy’ at the gym (as he so excitedly tells Chan) the first time he spots you after you finish a set and reach for your water bottle. A cute smile, sick tattoo sleeves (his words) and an impressive set? Social anxiety be damned, Jisung makes it his mission to get closer to you, which he does, to his credit. Soon, he’s calling you ‘tattoo hyung’ as a joke and he has some eye candy to forward to when he joins you at the gym.
And by all means, the buff chipmunk is adorable, so you indulge him when he jokingly presses his face between your pecs. They’re comfy, sue him.
Until it’s starting to get obvious that there are developing feelings between the pair of you.
So, without telling Sung outright you fill out your tattoo sleeves just that little bit more, get some art done on your abdomen that may or may not be inspired by the rapper himself. Taking his invite to go swimming with him and some of the other members, you show off the new body art to a very infatuated Han Jisung.
You may be going home with a boyfriend, that’s all I’m saying.
Lee Felix | 이용복
Meeting Felix feels like it was fate, in my honest opinion; you were working on your arms, and Lix was getting his rehabilitation exercise done. As luck would have it, he asked you to spot him, the two of you start talking and you left that gym session with a new friend and Felix’s number. And soon enough, your phone is buzzing every other hour with a text from Mr Buff Sunshine about everything from how his day went, to workout advice, to spamming you with memes.
It's cute, and 100% part of the reason you consider getting some sun-inspired tattoos across your chest. Perhaps even a few quotes you’d seen his fans talk about on twitter.
Felix decides to have some fun with you when you and Felix make plans to head swimming, because your ‘swimming top’ as it were, is now nowhere to be found. Go figure.
“Hey Felix?” What seems like an innocent move on your part – asking for a t-shirt – clearly is lost on the Australian in question. There are new tattoos on your abdomen. Rather fucking hot ones, in his humble opinion; and Lix’s face is burning red.
Lord above, could you be any more attractive? You do eventually get one of Felix’s shirts, that suspiciously look like the one you were missing, but between you and me…Felix is more than happy to have you shirtless.
Kim Seungmin | 김승민
I’m genuinely more impressed by the notion that you met Seungmin at the gym of all places. Granted, it was by the treadmill, and he was pacing himself at a brisk jog, but my point still stands. Talking to you becomes his new ‘kill time’ card, and it doesn’t take many of these particularly amusing gym sessions for numbers to be exchanged and for Seungmin to start asking about your numerous tattoos. He saves you in his phone as ‘y/n – cool tattoos~’, deeming you the newest subject of teasing and some awfully aesthetic food pictures. Courtesy of Minho’s cooking, of course.
And while your friendship blossoms, and you begin taking tattoo ideas from Seungmin, something warm and fuzzy starts making its way into Seungmin’s heart. He doesn’t hate it.
But he would rather be caught stark naked than admit he has a crush on you. So his fondness is translated through more frequent texts, more emojis and asking more and more about your day.
And inviting you swimming, of course.
Thanks to your own genius, you had left your spare swimming shirt at home and resorted to asking around for a spare shirt you could borrow. Giving Seungmin the perfect view of your newest tattoos. On your sculpted abdomen.
I think you’ve broken him.
Yang Jeongin | 양정인
You should thank who or whatever possessed Jeongin to actually start going back to the gym, because you stumble into him on your way out from the changing room. Don’t get him wrong, he was a little intimated at first; you’re hot, have some impressive body art, and you’re muscular? Cut him a little slack here.
He does see you again, however Innie picks up the courage to talk to you, and it turns out the two of you have quite a lot in common. Perfect! Instead of spending his whole time of his time with his headphones on, Jeongin spends his break between sets talking to you, his dimples on full display the entire time.
You have now gained the title of cool hyung. Congratulations.
His fascination with your tattoos bleeds into something more romantic, and Jeongin finds himself itching for the days to speed up so the swimming outing you two have planned comes by faster. At least he gets to fill his time by hanging out with you in your tattoo studio.
Praise to everything holy – and Jeongin’s patience – the day of the swimming outing finally arrives, and Jeongin is buzzing with excitement. The weather is great, the venue you’re going to has good food places nearby – it’s perfect.
“Jeongin-ah, have you seen my swim-shirt?” Well, perfect if you ignore the fact you forgot your swimming shirt. Which leaves your new chest tattoo on full display for Jeongin to marvel at while he helps you go in search of a t-shirt to buy.
Yes you saw him blushing. No you aren’t going to bring it up unless Innie says anything himself.
You hope he does though.

"I can't believe it! We're going for a stupid quiz competition instead of getting summer vacations!" Jimin groaned, resting her head in her hands.
"At least we get to go abroad! We'd be in Seoul all summer long otherwise," Aria urged, smiling at Jimin who looked like she would pull her hair out of its roots.
Similarly, a certain group of 7 boys were stressing over the Annual Decathlon they had to attend. "Jisung, Jeno and Jaemin are lucky. They're just coming for the school newspaper. No studying required." Renjun huffed, crossing his arms. Jisung shrugged, "Perks of being a photographer."
"You don't even need to come, why are you?" Donghyuck questioned. "You know well why he's coming," Chenle smirked, looking towards Aria slyly. "No way!" Mark screeched, drawing the rest of the team's attention to him. Sheepishly bowing his head in apology, he turned back to Jisung. "You like Aria?" he whispered questioningly.
Turning red, Jisung scratched the back of his neck, urging Mark to quiet down. "Since when?" Jaemin leaned forward in his seat. "Since Freshman year started," Chenle answered for him, earning a smack on his arm from an infuriated Jisung. "I'm not trusting you ever again," Jisung rolled his eyes.

Telephone
PAIRING || Baekhyun x female reader ft. Kibum, Taeyeon, Taeyong, Irene
GENRES || Horror, 911 operator Baekhyun, X-EXO Baekhyun.
SUMMARY || The telephone calls from his ex girlfriend was scaring him. Especially when she claimed that he murdered her.
WC || 1.8k
WARNINGS || horror, character deaths
A/N || This story probably isn’t that scary but I loved it so much. Off lately I’ve become really interested in 911 calls and so I really wanted to do this for Baekhyun as he had got the highest number of votes along with Kai.
TAGGING || @fifty-shades-of-mischeif @xavi-in-kpopland @whatudoing @midnightmoi @moonswhite @shrutiajit @cerisetalks @exoxobsession @nctisthecity @woo-minhee02 @roroswitherose (If you want to be added to my taglists, fill in this form)
“911, please state your emergency.”
Static. He waited for a minute more but there still wasn’t any sound coming from the other side.
Baekhyun sighed exasperatedly, sure that this was another prank call. Halloween night was looming close which also meant teenagers found it funny to call the operators up at night to scare them.
But he was used to this. After all, this was what he was trained for.
He was about to hang up the call when he heard a sound. Immediately he jerked back the phone to his ear and strained them to hear anything, but now he could hear a buzzing sound.
“Hello? How can I help-”
“Help.”
He inhaled sharply, the woman’s raspy voice very clear in the empty office. Baekhyun was the only one serving shift in his floor currently, and the only thing accompanying him was the soft beeping on the seven screens in front of him and the buzzing of the fluorescent tube lights above him.
"Ma'am, what is happening?"
His fingers flew across the keyboard, noting down the number first and then quickly texting the other department to find out the location of the call.
"Pl-please help. Make him stop." The woman whispered, her ragged breath harsh against his ears.
"You need to tell me what is happening so that I can help you. What is your name ma'am?"
He was still calm, he had enough experience to know what would happen if he lost his cool too.
A message dinged on one of his screens indicating that they had traced the nearest cell tower of the cell phone.
"Officer Lee." He said, already on the other line, talking to the nearest official he could see. "We have a 911 emergency of abuse."
"Roger that. Address?"
"It's…" Baekhyun's voice trailed off on seeing the address. No way- How was that possible?
The address was his house.
He cleared his throat, sure that the address was wrong since they tracked the nearest cell tower, and that could be miles away from the destination.
“The address shows my house but I think it means nearby places.”
There was a pause, as though Taeyong too seemed to be trying to process this.
“On my way.”
“Ma’am,” Baekhyun said, back to line one, “if you could tell me your name or your address, or even what is happening to you I could help you out.”
His eyes were trained to look at all the monitors at once, one monitoring the small dot that represented Taeyong heading towards the destination, another with a blank form about the caller and another one where he was rapidly typing what he was hearing, ready to call in other emergencies in case he heard something.
“Help. Why don’t you help me? Please help.”
“Ma’am help is on the way-”
There was a loud pop as all the lights went out and the only source now was his computer screens. Baekhyun wasn’t scared of the dark ever, another reason he never minded this night shift as a Dispatch Operator but the growing sounds of gurgling and growling in the telephone line was causing shivers to travel down his spine.
“Baekhyun…” The woman rasped, this time sounding like she had gargled razors and Baekhyun felt his blood turn cold.
H-How did she know his name?
The hair on his nape stood up as his breathing came out in pants on this unusual call. With a jolt, he realised how lonely he was, not a single soul on his floor whilst he was plunged in darkness.
The call cut off abruptly, and at the same time the power surged to life.
Yet, the cold feeling hadn't left Baekhyun as though he could still hear the woman gargling in his ear.
“Byun?”
He jerked as the second line came to life, Taeyong’s voice clear through the landline.
“H-Hey. Did you find anything?” He tried not to sound shaken, but it was hard because the more he tried to ignore, the more the feeling of foreboding grew in him.
“Nothing. We will be needing to get a more specific address. Your entire apartment seems safe to me. Is she still on the line?”
Baekhyun exhaled.
“No. She cut the call. I don’t think she needs help anymore. She sounded alright at the end.” He lied.
“Are you sure? Shouldn’t we follow the protocol still-”
“She told me so.” Baekhyun snapped, and Taeyong quieted down.
He sighed, rubbing his template, trying to forget what he heard. Being a 911 operator, there was bound to be such horrors right? He had heard some similar stories of ghost calls from his superiors.
"Well then...I suppose that's it huh? Are you calling it a night?"
Baekhyun felt his heart leap to his throat.
Calling it a night? On any other day he would have loved to crash on to his bed but all of a sudden going back to his house seemed like a distant nightmare, something which would haunt him and tear him apart.
"N-no. I'll continue my shift. Besides, Kibum won't wake up if I call him now."
"You sound...scared. We've dealt with these before, right?" Taeyong asked, clearly concerned for him.
"Y-yeah. I'll hang up now."
As soon as the phone went down, Baekhyun buried his face in his hands, trying to block out the horrible sounds he had heard.
But the more he tried to forget them, the more he was convinced that they were no more voices in his head but were coming from the room.
I’m hallucinating. I’ve gone mad.
He got up and walked upstairs, walking into a similar room to see only two occupants in the entire floor. Night shifts were starting to become rare.
“Hey Taeyeon.” Baekhyun said, approaching the older female of the two women working as dispatch at this time.
“Hey Baek- Are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
Baekhyun smiled sheepishly, taking a seat between Taeyeon and Joohyun.
“You know, calls these days. As Halloween approaches things get creepy.”
“I think I’ll leave this job after a year. There’s only so much I can handle such depressing news and situations.” Joohyun muttered, eyes still raking over the screens.
“So, uh, I was wondering if you both could take my shift. I, uh, the last call-”
He really didn't know how to explain the call.
But they were already nodding, understanding his unexplained fear.
“You go home. We will take care.” Taeyeon said, patting his shoulder lightly.
He smiled at them gladly, getting up to leave.
But even after he left the building, he could hear those groaning sounds following him.
He pressed his fingers against his temples, the headache still persisting despite eating the medicines.
He couldn’t sleep even a bit the night before. Everything he shut his eyes he was only revisited by the same nightmare and then he woke up in cold sweat. Even awake he couldn't shake off the foreboding fear in him, shivering in the darkness.
The telephone range once more and he automatically picked it up.
"911. Please state your emergency-"
"Help."
Baekhyun froze, feeling blood drain out of his cheeks.
"Baekhyun, please help."
It was the same woman. He was very sure of it.
But this time he was scared for a different reason.
This time he was scared because he knew this voice.
"Y/N." He whispered, fear clutching his stomach as he felt his heart hammer in his chest.
In the empty office he could only hear his own ragged breathing and the slight buzzing sound coming from the phone.
But how was this possible?
Y/N had died six months ago.
Or rather, she had been murdered in his apartment. At first he had been charged with murder, but due to lack of evidence he was set free.
"Help please." She rasped. "Help me-"
"Where are you?" He whispered.
"In your apartment. Why aren't you helping?"
He felt his head spin. Whom was he even talking to? With each word her voice turned raspy and he could feel the famine fear returning.
"If you don't help me he'll-"
Baekhyun heard her gasp, followed by a whimpering as he heard someone slap her.
"Y-Y/N?" He asked, though he didn't want to know what had happened to her.
"Stay away." A male voice said.
Baekhyun nearly fell off his seat, the hair on his arms and neck standing up.
"Stay away."
He could hear his own voice on the other side of the telephone line.
The telephone nearly slipped from his sweaty hand as he tried taking in a breath to calm himself down.
"And who's this-"
"Just stay away from us."
And the line disconnected.
"Who was that?"
Baekhyun jumped from his seat, hands flying to his mouth to prevent himself from screaming when he came face to face with Kibum.
"You scared me." He hissed, rubbing his sweaty forehead while trying to calm his shaking body down.
Kibum raised his eyes.
"Did I scare you? Or that call did?"
Baekhyun looked away.
"What are you talking about-"
"You asked the caller whether she was Y/N."
Baekhyun shivered involuntarily at the memory.
"It sounded like her." He gulped.
Kibum sat down beside him, concern etched on his face.
"Are you sure? Taeyeon and Taeyong said you were acting a bit differently even yesterday."
He exhaled.
"I'm fine. Just no sleep. You know, Halloween is just around the corner, kids coming up pranking-”
“You should go home.” Kibum cut him, patting him on the shoulder. “I think you need rest.”
Baekhyun opened his mouth to protest, but shuddered in the thought of facing another ghost call.
Packing his things, he made his way out of the office into the elevator, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.
His heart jumped again as his phone rang, cutting the heavy cold silence.
"Hello?" He whispered, wondering who it was.
"Why did you kill me?"
He felt his head spin once more.
"Y/N. How did you- Kill you- What are you talking about-" he panted, stumbling back to support his wobbly legs with the help of the wall of the lift.
All of a sudden the air felt cooler, and his clammy hands seemed to be unable to grip the hand bar of the lift.
"Don't you know? You killed me. Well, not exactly you. It was Baëkhyun. But he is you, you are him, right?"
He heard the lift ding as it reached the ground floor. Frantically, he tried pushing random buttons, not wanting the lift door to open.
But as though his fate was doomed, the doors slowly opened, until he was face to face with her.
She dropped the phone from his hand, stepping into the lift coolly as Baekhyun stumbled back, trying to make as much distance as he could with her. But soon his back hit the wall and he could only stare as this ghostly form of his ex lover smiled at him.
"Now it's time for me to return the favour."
A/N: Please do tell me what you think about this story!! I worked really hard on it and I would love to know everyone’s thoughts on it~ Comments and reblogs are appreciated!
