Here's some more KND Fan Personality Thingies

Alright I saw a few people doing this  #knd background character expansion and here is Ann, Numbuh AH-1

The nurse we see in op DADDY, ELECTIONS and even op LOVE (shes in more episodes but this is a few, she actually speaks in DADDY). Ive actually drawn her way back in 2014 a bit (links included here). Having headcanoned her and Fanny being medics together (and later when Fanny returns to the medic field before her own decommissioning). Anyway her Numbuh is a reference to the USS Refuge (aka AH 1) being a large Hospital ship back in the 1920s-1940s (there’s more ships under AH). I think I named her after a Nurse around that time but I didn’t make notes on who and I’m mad at myself for not writing that down. But given we see her in Sector V’s school play and here during ELECTION then it’s to assume shes a classmate or lives in the area. Giving me more reason to think her and Fanny know eachother and are probably friends to a degree. She’s very good at what she does, while she may be stationed at Haircut Headquarters, as most medics she’s capable of being about anywhere dure to her profession. As for personality, she’s sweet but very serious about her work. Definitely cares for peoples well being. Maybe I’ll draw her up again.

I saw the tag #knd background character expansion challenge and decided to participate.

My child character I’m choosing to ��make” is this blue haired kid right here:

I’m not sure what other episodes they were in, but I just remembered first seeing them in Op. ELECTIONS (season 5, episode 2)

My headcanons for them:

Their name is Jett Ace Bass

Pronouns: He/Him/They/Them

Codename: Numbuh 1, 2, 3, 4—Rock’n’Roll

Age: 10

Jett loves rock music (if not shown obvious by his codename) and has multiple band posters on the walls of their room.

Jett’s natural hair color is black

He’s the combat fighter of his sector, and he always plays music whenever he’s training/ he has some kind of song playing in his head whenever he’s fighting *cough cough* Enemies by Shinedown *cough*

Jett has a very chill yet aggressive personality. Most times when you just see him he’ll just be calm minding his own business, but once you know him better he can be a bit more open/ being himself (so yeah, he can be a bit shy sometimes)

Jett was introduced to rock music by his dad, who sadly died whenever he was 7 due to cancer. He made a promise to his dad he’d continue to “rock on” for him.

Jett has 2 older brothers, and they get along well

His oldest brother’s name is John. John is 25 years old and currently serving in the military, so Jett doesn’t see him very much, but they still get letters in the mail

His second oldest brothers name is Hendrix. Hendrix is 16 years old and is apart of the Teen Ninjaz, but he still gets along with his younger brother very well (He’s like Mr Boss: “I love my younger sibling, it’s just everybody else’s I hate!”). He teaches his little brother how to play the bass. Jett really looks up to him (music wise at least).

Jett doesn’t really like to talk about his mom. She’s still really depressed after their dads death and sometimes fails to provide for them. Although him and Hendrix try to comfort her as much as they can, it can sometimes drive Hendrix crazy too “SHE’S NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO MISSES DAD!!”

Jett was inspired to dye his hair blue because blue was his dad’s favorite color + one of his favorite singers had their hair dyed blue as well

Jett dreams of being in a rock band whenever he’s older

Whenever something is on Jett’s mind, he’ll write a song about it/ how it’s making him feeling. Some of them he shares with others but their’s some he keeps to himself because they’re too personal

Jett is very loyal to the Kids Next Door, and especially to his loved ones. You hurt them, he’ll hurt you.

Disrespect his dad in any way...and he’ll put you in the hospital

This was definitely a fun challenge to do, I might do another background character! And I’m definitely wanting to make designs for Jetts older siblings, so I might make more content of my new blue-haired child Jett in the future.

I will not be that original for the #knd background character expension, because I am not that imaginative for background characters in the first place. I usually don’t care about them, because they’re in the background but ah what the hell, why not.

Here’s Numbuh Ten to Midnight from the comic Op: P.A.P.E.R.C.U.T.. We don’t know much about him, so I’ll start with his name : Jerome Milford, based on Jerome Tobacyk and Gary Milford, some dudes who wrote stuff about paranormal phenomenons. He looks rad with his black robe. I love this, okay? Black robes are awesome.

He clearly changes his voice to sound more ominous or mysterious. He normally has braces so his voices is actually ‘nerdy’. Also, his official title is the ‘Master of the Mystically Mysterious’, but we don’t know which sector he is from. There’s a lot of groups that are not actual sectors: the full time 2x4 tech scientists, the decommissioning squad, the artic guards and trainers, the full time medics, the hair stylists, etc... so why not say he’s from a special force against paranormal stuff that would also include vampires, werewolves/dogs, ghosts, leprechauns and stuff? Because I decided it was the case and you can’t stop me low key want now a fic were he has to deal with Nigel for being an actual demon xD

A bunch of headcanon stuff:

He totally is a goth nerd

He listens to goth/metal bands like Evanescence or Within Temptation.

He shops at Hot Topic

He actually likes horror movies

When he’s confronted to actual monsters, he can get surprised and scared and losing his cool just like in the comic.

He takes everything to his work related seriously, even if people just want to make fun of him

He reads a lot

The dude has canonically bags under his eyes, undeniably proof he also stays up late all the time. Why? I don’t know, to get in the mood maybe?

It's been a while since I've done one of these, so here's a piece on Numbuh 94!

Name: Cassidy Morgan

Personality: Expert Kicker (sporty), Girlish Tomboy, Occasionally Overcompetitive, sometimes whiney, still naïve, usually very friendly unless provoked,

Looks: (updated)/ gold hoop earrings, crown-shaped dark-brown hair, orange hair beads, yellow socks, green and orange strap shoes (sometimes green crocs), green hoodie, black belt and yellow pleated skirt

Backstory: She was part of Tommy's cadet grad class and got assigned to work on the moon base as a communications operative. She moved to Sector W when her family moved to the area, and she wanted to learn something new.

Trivia: Friendly rivals with Harvey (note: #363 has a crush on her), was close friends with #363 (former moonbase guard) and #89 (head of soda snacks and treats branch), great friends with Sonia, loves rainbow monkeys, good at soccer, once ate an entire lemon on a dare

Decided to dive into the minor character end of the pool for the next installment of the #knd background character expansion challenge with the infamous Numbuh 85!

At 8 years old, Paddy is the eldest of Sector W as well as the former leader of said sector.

Before the "DADDY" incident, Paddy was a very cheeky operative, usually spending his free time playing pranks on older operatives with Harvey. Although you'd be more likely to see them arguing over petty issues, Paddy & Harvey are on somewhat decent terms. While at times he can be a bit whiny and cowardly, Paddy will never outright ditch his team/friends in a dangerous situation, even if it puts himself at risk.

After receiving his bad haircut, Paddy became much more self-conscious , to the point where he wouldn't go out on missions. He'd only really came out after the "Scavenger Hunt" incident. Overtime, he slowly grew his confidence with help from his Sector (yes, even Harvey) and his sister, believe it or not. Nowadays, Paddy's still actively fighting for the KND and defending kids everywhere from bad haircuts from their parents (or the KND medical grove)!

I haven’t lineless art in a while and what better way to do that than with Numbuh AH-1 Anyway I had fun with this one. Maybe I’ll draw more of her another time. Have more Character to her than just being a medic. Bonus: op LOVE outfit cause it still fits her palette.

Finally decided to come back to the KND Background Character Expansion challenge with Numbuh 89 (credit goes to @thehottestpeoplearefictional for inspiration)

Kel "Kelly" Armstrong is the medic of Sector Y. They're' best friends with Reuben and is similarly quiet. While they're more social then Reuben though, Kelly's just as sensitive (albeit emotionally). Kelly's always willing to stick up for Reuben and the rest of their Sector. Despite this, they have a tendency to hold grudges and make suspicions, usually unintentionally. Kelly and Reuben are both scared of Sector W, especially Harvey and (oddly enough) Sonia. Aside from them, Kelly is most often welcoming and socialable to their fellow cadets, especially their Sector.

As a continuation to the #knd background character expansion challenge, here's Numbuh 91, Quincy Johnson!

As part of Sector Y and Cadets Next Door Head Musician, Quincy's considered one of the KND's grooviest operatives! He has a strong love for 90's media, especially music! While Quincy's usually calm, collective & easy-going, he isn't above the occasional freak-outs (especially when the situation's wild, ya know what I mean, dude?). Having 37% of his vocabulary consist of 90's slang definitely makes him an... unique operative. Nethertheless, working with Quincy will (almost) always be a jumpin' good time!

KND Tidbits: Part 2

Imagine if the Arctic Base had an Ice Rink, and on weekends they'd sometimes skate there (either for training or just for fun).

Sonia and Lee are Ice-skating experts

They'd be considered the best KND skaters & would host KND ice-skating shows

Sector Q (the Canadian sector in my headcanon) would often play hockey against other sectors (most notably Sectors V & W)

The Sector Q leader (the mountie) & Harvey would definitely be rivals

Sonia and the blonds Canadian girl would be cousins & definitely gal-pals.

The Mullet kid despite his hard, crunchy exterior is actually a cinnamon roll (who could kill you)

Real Name: Annabelle Fernsby; Sector: Q

Despite being the textbook definition of the "weird kid", Annie is considered as one of the coolest Cadets in the pack. It's a well-known fact that she's one of the only operatives to have never been defeated by the Common Cold. Her pet tarantula, Bob is always one to get themselves out of a web of trouble! As a friend to bugs, insects & arachnids alike, Annie is a force to be reckoned with!

To start off the #knd background character expansion challenge, here's Numbuh 364!

Currently enlisted in Sector Y, Numbuh 364 is seen as a lovable doofus. While he usually means well, he can be a bit incompetent (whether or not that comes from being Numbuh 13's long-lost cousin {thrice removed}, we'll never know), which sometimes puts his teammates in trouble; not helping is that he's mute. Despite this, he's always able to get out of any scrape, no matter how unbelievably dangerous. Hell, he could escape an erupting volcano if he put his mind to it. Just don't expect him to deliver any cakes anytime soon.
