The '96 corratec husky bow 205 (MTB) wanted to be a BMX-SUV all along. A 26" bike, adjusted for 164cm short rider. Bent handle bar, more back sweep (18°) for cruising with straight arms and given narrower shoulders. Short Stem (45mm). A Jis Bottom bracket with minimal axis (depending on cranks) for minimal foot distance. As a hands free rider, i need platform pedals that support many foot positions. The cranks are jet racing 160mm - save me from hip muscle pain: no need to elevate the knee too high. 25mm setback seatpost with suspension (canyon). The xlc fork has a crown to axle height of about 42cm (at least 2cm more than a default 26" MTB fork). It is not ideal for my 54mm big tires with fenders, i had to modify (dremel) it slightly to get minimal 8mm fender clearance. Also I made the crown leaner to blend it with the frame. There are not many suspension corrected rigid forks for v-brakes and for 26 to choose from. Rims are 31mm stolen rampage, laced to an ordinary MTB hub in the back. Work in progress but am pretty happy with it now. My old frame poses limits. I would prefer vertical dropouts for a single speed chain and geared hub, disk breaks would be more aesthetic. I keep experimenting with saddles. I always must dremel or lace them more narrow so that my legs don't rub. I reshaped this nylon saddle with a heat dryer. Its perfect now, maybe better than any leather saddle i tried. Its reliable. The short version of brooks b17 was okay out of the box. Not sure how it will change. I used to have a cruiser handle bar for a long time. I really want something more in-between bmx and cruiser. Cruiser bars are too unstable at the wrist, off road. BMX bars can be slightly too far away, but its not an issue now, after having narrow saddles, that allow higher, more in the front sitting. I ride mostly hands free. My frame may be about 3cm too long for me, so i have the handle bars angled backwards, its probably not ideal to have the hands right at or even behind the steering tube axis. I believe it makes it difficult to put body weight on the front wheel while steering? For tire traction. Front wheel can lift off sideways if your body weight is too far behind. The leather saddle is super short at 24cm. This is idea for riding standing up. The nylon saddle is 26cm. It can touch the pants sometimes. Many saddles are 29cm. They can collide with the handle bar, when its fully turned to the side. So many things you figure out with experience only. I replaced most parts on this bike twice until i knew what works for me.

I have been struggling (a lot) as of late, trying to overcome this terrible Crayola addiction that I have. My teeth are constantly stained and waxy, I always coughing up different colors of smoke... (I'm very unhealth)!

You find a little card on your bed in the cabin. It’s signed around the edges, like it’d gotten too close to a flame, and has a little drawing of Klunk with a flamethrower on the cover. Inside is a beaded bracelet and a simple little note. From Mikey (and Sparky) :)

Mikey sits on his bed, Klunk crawling into his lap. "Heya Klunkers," He begins quietly, looking at his sleepy cat, "I got a card with a picture of you on it! It's got a flamethrower too... you haven't been getting into any trouble while I'm not looking, have you?"

Klunk responds but nuzzling up to him more, letting out a quiet meow. Mikey snorts. "Yeah, that's what I thought." He opens the card, laughing when another bracelet falls out. "Look at that, baby! Mikey and Sparky made us a bracelet!" He slides this new one next to his other one, admiring his wrist. "Yep. I'm stylish."

Mikey smiles, admiring his collection. I can't wait to show my bros all my new bracelets.

Habe eben deinen # Ring Gate repost gesehen und bin direkt wieder super invested 👀 hatte das so interpretiert, dass sich Anon auf Joko‘s Ring bezog - also dass man da die Anfangsbuchstaben der Familienmitglieder erkennen kann. Ich sehe da nämlich auch ein J, ein L, ein M und ein O (D?). Wie auch immer will ich unbedingt wissen, wann und wieso Joko auf die Idee kam, sich einen ähnlichen Ring wie Klausi zu besorgen 😩 I need to know what’s going on for my ✨ mental health ✨

Ich hab den Post so verstanden, dass es sich auf Klaas' Family bezieht und da ist dann ein B für Bent (heißt sein ältester Sohn so?) und D für Doris, also so ineinander geschlungen.

Und dass Doris den gleichen Ring in kleiner trägt, wurde auch berichtet. Daher würde das so als "Familienwappen" passen, und auch, weil Klaas ja den Ring von Doris geschenkt bekommen hat.

Meine Theorie: Klaas hat einmal diesen Ring UND einen Siegelring, der so ähnlich aussieht und den er von Joko bekommen hat (so nach dem Motto, wenn deine Frau dir so nen goldenen Klunker schenken darf, darf ich das auch), und Joko hat das Gegenstück dazu an seinem Finger. Ich mein, wir haben jetzt schon öfter gesehen, dass sie gleichzeitig diese Siegelringe tragen.

Mein headcanon / Verständnis aktuell wäre dann nämlich: Klaas und Joko tragen ihre Eheringe und an der anderen Hand ihre Siegelringe.

Dass Jokos Siegelring was mit Klaas zu tun hat, ist für mich irgendwie selbstverständlich.

Visiting Prague the first time

Ich fühle mich wie ein kleines Entchen.

Treudoof wackel ich hinter meinem Reiseleiter her, wie gefühlt hundert weitere Menschen.

"Dicht beieinander bleiben und nicht bummeln", zitiere ich den Harry Potter-Film im Spaß, als wir die vollgefüllte Altstadt erreichen und den Stadtführer fast aus den Augen verloren.

Wir fahren U-Bahn. Sie ist überfüllt und die Menschen sind multikulturell! Ich höre spanisch, chinesisch (oder eine sonstige fernöstliche Sprache), tschechisch, französisch, englisch und Amiland-Englisch und sehr viel deutsch.... So "ich-muss-mir-die-geilen-Hörner-Abstoßen"-Deutsch 🤢

Wir sitzen im Café und beobachten die Menschen. Überall weht er herein, die prägnante Note von Urin, die in einem Übelkeit hervorruft, wenn man gerade Eis isst.... Wir beobachten die Menschen. Reiche Menschen, Klunker verhangen, in schönen Kleidern und mit teuren Handtaschen oder Hüten verziert. "Normale" Menschen mit schwarzen Nylonstrumpfhosen und kurzen Lederröcken. Mit auffälligen Tops ohne BH. Ein Mann in Kuhkostüm blieb mir hartnäckig in Erinnerung... Wir beobachten einen Mann, der einen angebissenen Burrito im Mülleimer findet und ihn isst. Ein weiterer Mann trägt eine viel zu große Hose - man sieht schon fast den Hintern- er beginnt gerade den Hosenschlitz zu öffnen, als zum Glück die Straßenbahn seine Scharm (oder meine?) verdeckt, während er den Baum begießt... Nebendran steht die Polizei.
