Yearly train tickets cost around 80 € for students (and even that is insane tbh when I was younger they were like 60 €) but now that I'm an adult they cost around 740 € ....

Since the ask for König is open, what rank do you think he has in the military?

Complicated ask for several reasons:

A. The military and its ranks confuse me

B. Looking up the ranks in the Austrian military made me majorly uncomfortable bc they sound like they haven't changed a name since WWII (and, tbh they probably haven't)

And C. Related to point B, translating ranks could be complicated bc I'm not sure if there are english equivalents for the Austrian military rank.

But based on my 10-15 minute Google research, I'd say his rank would be somewhere around Sergeant (or some variation of "Wachtmeister" in German). He joined the military at 17, so there's no chance he'd be a commissioned officer bc in Austria, you'd need a Matura and like military university or something for that.

Fun fact i discovered during my "research": Austrian military personnel (both conscripts and career soldiers) can get a free ticket for all public transport in Austria (called Klimaticket).

👉 Países que estão adotando a tarifa zero:

Luxemburgo foi o primeiro país a instituir a tarifa zero para o transporte público. Algumas cidades da Estônia, Espanha e Alemanha seguiram o exemplo. No Brasil, algumas cidades estão experimentando esse modelo.

👉 Países que estão se aproximando da tarifa zero:

Na Irlanda, houve a redução das tarifas; a Itália distribuiu um vale de transporte público de 60 euros para trabalhadores de baixa renda; e a Áustria criou o passe "Klimaticket", de 3 euros por dia.

YESSSSSSSS zotter chocolate is amazing!!!!!! they actually have different type of chocolates, the one from your picture is the handgeschöpft (hand-scooped) one and it's my favorite!!!!!! zotter chocolate is pretty expensive though, so i don't buy it a lot. it's something you'd give as a gift

however, i went to the factory a couple of times as a teenager!! the factory is situated in southern austria in the federal state of styria. you can visit it and as you're walking around the factory getting glimpses at the work you can munch on chocolate to your heart's desires. they have chocolate fountains and chocolate dispensers all around the path!!

it's so cool because while you're there you can really eat as much chocolate as you want, no limit!! until you feel sick, that is (the first time i visited the factory i learned that there is indeed a thing as too much chocolate fdfdkklsdg)

if you're a chocolate lover who happens to find their way into austria you must visit the zotter chocolate factory

I had Fancy Chocolate from an Austrian company last night and thought of you. (It was yummy.)
