Was it you that wrote that Klaro/ Kalijah story where Klaus gets sucked into another universe and in it both couples are happy and married? But he can’t stay and turns out Elijah has gotten addicted to that universe, and now Klaus wants to go back? Or am I making this up? Any Kalijah writers know if that exists?

Hi, there, anon. Unfortunately it wasn't me. The only two times I ventured in time-travelling stories was my first fic, that was a crossover between Buffy: TVS and TVD with Faith and Elijah being a couple, and there was a Kalijah story that I was writing a few months back, where I changed Kat's death in tvd season 5, bringing her back to the time where the Originals were still human and she fell in love with human Elijah. BUT, I never even got close to finish, because I ran out of ideas and... Yeah.

But, your are so right... Kalijah writers are getting scarce, and that's a shame bc we deserved so much more than what we got... I know that @umaficwriter used to write Kalijah fics, her writing is so good, even though she sometimes don't believe her talent u.u

And I know @mismaeve had a few stories as well, and they were incredible.

Nothing is really coming to me for the first part, suggestions are welcome! As for viking fics well there is the 10th century section of the library and the tag but how historically accurate they are is up for debate. I wouldn’t really know, I don’t have a lot of knowledge in that area. Maybe something like Stormy Seduction by klaro-addict
