All move into an apartment together and the vampire and the witch are boyfriends and the werewolf and the vampire are best friends? I swear there's a joke in there somewhere. Maybe even a comedy show about it."

Archie and Jughead laughed. "Hey, you said you wanted to be normal. A normal life."

"I don't think normal qualifies here. Once a full moon, Jughead wolf's out. Archie drinks blood from a coffee thermos. And I occasionally set the kitchen on fire with my potions." Y/N said.

"Just gotta get the hang of it. We can do this." Archie said.

"I hope you're right, Arch." Jughead said.

"Yeah. We can do this. We just have to stick together. All three of us. We'll be safe."

"Speaking of being 'safe.' I assume you and Y/N were last night?" Jughead raised an eyebrow.

"I would ask how you know, but werewolf sense right?" Y/N asked.

"Yup. Promise me you'll let me find my headphones first before you go at it at three in the morning?"

My general rule is that I want to know the source material reasonably well before pulling down and reading the fic. That's probably a part of my issues with setting AUs and the like, because at some point, those start becoming stories that have been "cast" with the actors, rather than fic.

But sometimes, I feel like context of the source material would do nothing with regards to the fic for Riverdale, and I could totally accept picturing KJ Apa in the gay scenarios of fic in general.

I mean, the mountain of to-read fic is large enough with the fic gathered from the media I know already, I kinda need the dam that limiting myself to source media I've experienced just to keep it as something I can convince myself I might someday manage to read through entirely, but... The temptation is there.

Vampire Venom ~KJ Apa Imagine~

Summary: KJ is king of the vampires and you are his human mate. When KJ runs out of blood to drink, you offer him to drink yours. However, you pass out for a couple of days, only to wake up sick from KJ giving you some kind of venom. 

Author’s Note: AU time! Here is your KJ content for everyone who’s been wanting KJ content. 

Warnings: Dying, Cuss words 

KJ was feared by everyone but you. You never saw him violent. In fact, you never saw the dangerous side of him. The whole time that you’ve known him, not once did he show his dangerous and aggressive side to you. 

You were his human soulmate that everyone knew. How could they not, he was the king of vampires. You found that out a year of dating. When you found out, you didn’t leave. You were just shocked. 

Tonight was not a good night. KJ had just ran out of packets of blood to drink to survive. His delivery person was very delayed due to some troubles with the blood bank and traffic. 

“Fuck!” KJ said.

“What’s wrong?” You asked as you walked over to the kitchen.

“I don’t have anymore blood,” KJ said.

“How bad do you need them right now?” You asked.

“Badly,” He tells you.

“Then take some of mine,” You offered.

“Y/N, I can’t do that,” KJ said.

“KJ, you need to feed. It’s better to do it now than later,” You tell him.

“I can’t,” KJ tells you. You walked over to him before cupping his cheeks. 

“KJ. Please. I’ll be okay,” You assure to him. KJ nodded before you lifted your arm to him. 

“Not here,” KJ said. 

KJ took you over to the living room before sitting you both down onto the couch.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” KJ asked.

“I’m sure,” You say as you lifted your arm again.

KJ bit into you before sucking onto your blood. The pain hurt at first but it soon went away. KJ felt like he couldn’t stop. You could feel yourself get weaker and weaker. 

“KJ,” You moaned a little out of pain. KJ continued to suck onto your blood. You felt your head get dizzy.

“KJ,” You moaned out again. He couldn’t stop. The last thing you saw was KJ’s head before passing out. 

KJ quickly released your arm before looking up at you. His face grew worried as he saw you passed out. He couldn’t hear your heartbeat.

“Y/N? Oh god. What have I done?” KJ said. 

He quickly wrapped your arm up to prevent any blood that might leak out. KJ quickly picked you up before going over to your shared room. He placed you on your side of the bed before holding onto you.

“I’m so sorry,” KJ said. 

The next morning, you woke up to see KJ holding you. 

“KJ?” You asked. 

“Y/N. Oh thank god. I thought I lost you,” KJ said. 

“My head hurts,” You tell him.

“I’ll get you an Asprin and some food. Stay in bed alright?” KJ said. You nodded as he rushed off to get you the things.

The next couple days felt like hell to you. You kept coughing and throwing up. KJ had enough and took you to the hospital. The hospital had many vampire doctors. KJ demanded for the best doctor there was to help you. 

“What’s happening to my soulmate?” KJ asked the doctor as he held onto you.

“It appears that she has some venom running through her blood. Did you feed off of her?” The doctor asked.

“I told him to. He was low on blood,” You explain.

“Is there a solution or an antidote to this?” KJ asked.

“I’m afraid there’s no antidote. However, there is a solution,” The doctor said.

“What’s the solution?” You asked.

“If you turn into a vampire like us, the venom won’t have an affect on you anymore,” The doctor explained.

“It won’t?” you asked.

“No.”

You looked over at KJ who didn’t look happy at the solution. You looked back at the doctor.

“We’re going to need some time to think about it. Thank you, doctor,” You say.

At home, you lied in bed, still feeling sick. KJ couldn’t talk to you. For the past week, KJ would bring you food but you felt like you were dying. In fact you were.

“KJ, it hurts so much,” You said. 

“Y/N, I love you so much. Do you want me to turn you?” KJ asked. You nodded at him.

“Once I do this, there’s no turning back,” KJ tells you.

“I’m sure. I want to be with you,” You tell him.

“This might hurt but it’ll be over soon. I promise,” KJ said before kissing your head. 

When KJ turned you into a vampire like him, you felt better. You didn’t felt sick but now, you did feel hungry. But not for food.

“My throat is burning,” You say. 

“Here,” KJ said before giving you a bag of blood. You quickly drank it before looking at him.

“Now what?” You asked.

“I’ll have to get some things for you so you can blend in now,” KJ tells you.

“Really?”

“Yeah. It’ll be alright though,” KJ said. 

Weeks have passed and you’ve managed to adjust to your new life. However, KJ was still feeling off. 

“KJ what’s wrong?” You asked him.

“I shouldn’t have turned you,” He said.

“What?” You asked in shock and sadness. 

“You’re a target now,” KJ said.

“I’m a target?” You asked.

“Yes.”

“By who?”

“I’m not sure but whoever they are, they want you,” KJ said. 

“Good luck to them,” You say. KJ looked up over at you.

“I’m not a human anymore, KJ. Whatever is threatening me, good luck to them. Because I have you and I know that you can train me to defend myself,” You say.

“Y/N-”

“No, KJ. I’ve been weak for too long and I need to start defending myself,” You say to him. KJ smiled at you before wrapping an arm around your waist.

“You are the most perfect soulmate I can ever ask for,” KJ said.

“Too bad you’re stuck with me forever,” You joked. KJ chuckled before kissing the top of your head.

“We’re going to get through this together. I promise,” You tell him.

The Ginger Serpent

A/N: Archie's a serpent in this one shot.

They were watching Rebel Without a Cause at the Twilight Drive-In. It was the Drive-In’s closing night and almost everyone in town showed up as Y/N, his sister, and Kevin were sitting in the back of Kevin’s truck bed. Blankets all around and some to cover them as they watched, with Cheryl inviting herself in their little group as they watched James Dean on screen.

“That hair.” Kevin smiles.

“That jacket.” Y/N said in between bites of popcorn.

“Jason always adored the Drive-In.” Cheryl said. Kevin looks at Veronica and rolls his eyes. Behind them, the Southside Serpents were laughing and making a ruckus as Kevin snickers as he elbowed Y/N to get his attention to look at them. “Southside trash.”

“They’ve been doing that since the opening credits.” Veronica said.

Kevin turned his head towards them. “Shh!” They all shush hun back and throw cans at him that never reach. They’re still rowdy as Kevin looks at Y/N in defeat. They wouldn’t be quiet. Y/N’s had enough as he stands up and looks at the Serpents, locking eyes with a very good-looking ginger guy. “Hey! You know what happens to a snake when a heavy black boot steps on it? Shut the hell up, or you’ll find out the hard way.”

All around the Drive-In, the people applauded Y/N for finally saying what they were all thinking. Y/N bows like a gentleman. “Thank you.” He sits back down as the ginger eyes him as he smirks. Kevin looks at Y/N in disbelief. “I cannot believe you just threatened a gang-banger.”

“I’ve dealt with worse in the east village. I just hate when people disrespect my cinematic experience. Especially this one. It’s one of my favorites.” Y/N said.

It’s quiet until Veronica shakes the bucket of popcorn. “How about a refill, Hermanito?”

“Yeah, Y/N, how about a refill?” Cheryl smiles sweetly. “Cherry cola, as always.” He rolls his eyes as he gets off the truck bed as everyone scoots over one spot.

Y/N walks up to the concession stand and waits for his turn as he sets the bucket on the counter. “Can I get a refill?” The guy nods his head and takes the bucket as Y/N waits for him to come back. “And some gummy bears and a cherry cola and a regular one. Who am I trying to impress?” The guy gets all the things he’s asked for. “And can you put all this on Cheryl Blossom’s tab?” He nods his head as Y/N scoops up his treats and is about to walk away, when he almost runs into the ginger guy from the Serpents.

“Not so tough now, huh?” He asked Y/N. He’s about 5’11 with red hair and gorgeous brown eyes. He wore blue jeans and a red leather jacket to match his hair. He had a menacing and playful atmosphere around him. Y/N swallowed. “What? Am I supposed to be scared of you or something?”

“You do know what a Southside Serpent is, right?”

“And? You guys are like the watered-down versions of the Outsiders.” Y/N told him. “Now, may I go through, or are we going to have problems?” He tried to push past the taller male boy, but he grabbed his arm. “I have a better idea.” He basically dragged Y/N behind the concession stand towards the fence as he helped Y/N set his stuff down before he glared at Y/N. “You sure gotta smart mouth on ya, don’t ya?” He pushed him against the fence as Y/N looked at him.

“Yeah? And just what are you going to do about it?” Y/N asked him.

The ginger smirked before he leaned down and captured his lips into a kiss as Y/N was shocked as he let the redhead push him against the fence. They were grunting and panting as the taller male slammed Y/N gently against the metal of the fence. Y/N tangled his fingers inside the ginger’s head and messed it up as a small revenge as they broke apart for air. “I should go.”

“Something tells me you don’t want to, do you?” The redhead grins.

“I guess not.” Y/N told him.

“I’m Archie, by the way. Archie Andrews.”

“Y/N Lodge.”

“Lodge? Like Hiram Lodge?” Archie asked.

“Yeah, is that a problem?”

“No. Is this a problem?” He showed him his tattoo of a serpent.

“I won’t tell if you won’t?”

“Deal.”

They kissed again.

After the Dark Lord’s disappearance Adrian was killed by Aurors on February 3rd, then Ada found out about it. She had hunted down all of them and murdered them one by one. After that she took poison on her brother's grave and died there two days before hers and Adrian’s birthday.
