I’m always drawn to that cute+creepy combo haha I stumbled upon this Japanese movie, My Girlfriend is a Serial Killer, and knew I had to draw it haha. I particularly loved this cute line at the end where he says his artery is for her whenever she decides to kill him (I mean, not for IRL, but just as a cute genre thing ok haha murder is bad.)

EEAAO was a batshit hell of a ride through multiverses and emotions. Laughed and cried so much, and really had no idea where things would go, but they were able to bring it home to a satisfying end that made sense and made a point. A rare, rare feat for any story. If you haven't watched it yet, please do! On the surface you might think it's an Asian story, but it's actually very relatable and universal. This scene was a particularly heartbreaking one whilst they were in Wong-Kar-Wai-verse 🖤
