She made only four movies in 1934-35 — including The Marx Brothers’ A Night at the Opera (1935) — before heading back east to continue her stage work on Broadway.

Kitty for Paramount, 1934. Trivia: in 1946 Kitty married Moss Hart, famed playwright (and frequent George S. Kaufman collaborator) and they remained together until his death in 1961. She never remarried.
