Uragirimono, The Traitor
My girl’s bio was looking a little too empty so I whipped this up over a couple days. She’s part of ZeroAerie’s kitsune subspecies for imperials and pearlcatchers. As always, feel free to check out my FR account. I go by LunaWard over there.

And so a new cycle of festivals begin! I'm really liking the new skins and accents, rip my savings. Here's Kogane and Awase with their new looks, I think they look gorgeous~ Now I'm just gonna try and think of some nice lore to explain the shiny rune ribbons and holy lights. I think it'll work out considering they're both Cursed Tenno Kitsune dragons, so I can alway link it to something curse related.

30 Day Dragon Share - Day 2: Favorite Lightning dragons
Fujin - Suzuki
Special Mention: Colt
Y’know, I don’t have a lot of Lightning dragons.... I realized that today. However, what I also did learn is that when I get a Lightning dragon, they tend to be amazingly flashy~! (All aside from one, anyways.)
But let’s get into their lore aspects, shall we?
Fujin is the clan’s Lightning representative, as well as professional tinkerer. While he typically keeps to himself, you can still often find Fujin in the company of Aleka or Firewall, talking about science and robots. Nobody’s really gotten a good read on him in the months he’s been with the clan, but he doesn’t mind; rather, he prefers it that way!
Suzuki is a part of the Kitsune subspecies on FR, a Foxfire pipe fox! She was found by Konohana (an Imperial who’s being is tied to a large cherry blossom tree) as a kit, taken in and carefully raised. Despite being a kitsune, Suzuki has yet to meet any other, due to her adoptive mother’s protectiveness. (She worries that Hayashi will attempt to take the child from her and though Suzuki has grown up a lot since those days, Konohana still clings on.) Someday, she might new places and other fox-dragons...but until then, she’s quite content where she is!
Despite the Shade having been chased away, Colt never went with it. A Shade-touched dragon (with some lovely art in her bio by @chalkolate-fr, the one who sold her to me!!) who continues on her life like nothing happened. A new pest to the clan like Numina never could be. Sure, she starts fights, steals things and hides them away to be found later (usually in someone else’s den), but isn’t that the fun of life~?

Worldbuilding: Kasaiwari’s Occult Species
A quick post about the unusual species that live in and around Kasaiwari, courtesy of yours truly and @hellkite-fr!
Nestled as it is between fire and water, hidden from the industrial heath by a swath of thick rainforest, Kasaiwari has more than it’s fair share of unusual creatures and magical subspecies. Here, where dragonkind never went to war with other intelligent beings, the occult live unquestioned- and to question would be quite rude.
There are three main species which reside in Kasaiwari, and remain very rare outside of it’s borders.
Tengu “Gods of the gates.”
Atop the small, active volcano which drips new land into the sea, a torii older than Kasaiwari itself stands, marking the boundary between the outer world and the spiritual world. If one waits, they may find the mighty Daitengu perched atop, the whole thing creaking under his mighty weight. Shaggy black feathers blot out the sun, and a mask of crimson stares down. Once upon a time, dragons were sacrificed to appease him- but those days are long since passed, and now he is a mostly benevolent watcher. Although he has been suspected for the increase in demonic activity, it worries him as much as the Tenkubashi family, and his Kotengu carry orders down to the Tenshi when a greater demon forms.
The beastkin ‘tengu’ took their name from these Tengu. They’re not too happy about it. The Tengu keep to themselves, staying away from the towns and remaining in their mountains and canopies; but they can be drawn down for festivities, walking among the dragonkin in their masks, enjoying the music and fireworks.
Kitsune "The trickster’s breed.”
Perhaps the most well known of the occult species, their history is intertwined with that of Kasaiwari’s. The rumour goes that the Tenkubashi family has kitsune blood within their lineage- something that is hard to dispute when they share the same fluffy, vulpine ears. The classification of Kitsune is hard to define. Some believe them to be spirits occupying a physical form, some believe they are spirits who were granted physical forms, and some believe they are simply a subspecies, similar to beastkin. Kitsune can be found in the jungles and in the towns themselves.
There are ‘pure’ kitsune, who cannot transform at all, stuck in their true, fox forms. There are ‘shifters’, who can change between their true, fox form, and something very similar to the shifted forms of dragons (humanoid) at will; these are seen as the most numerous, simply because they interact with dragons they most. Some disguise themselves their whole lives, no one ever the wiser of their true nature, and some are a little more obvious. There are also ‘were-breeds’, which uncontrollably transform into their true forms either during full moons or times of emotional stress. This is thought to be caused by interbreeding with non-kitsune.
Qilin “A prosperous omen.”
The rarest of the occult species, the Qilin are the least well documented. Whilst they certainly do exist, it has been several generations since one has been sighted. Heralding the birth or demise of a particularly pivotal ruler, the legends go that the first of the Tenkubashi lineage had a qilin companion. Whether they can transform, as the Kitsune can, or if they remain in their true forms is a mystery. There are rumours that they can transform, and that with illusion magic their transformation is flawless.
Despite the lack of information, their iconography often appears in royal rituals and ceremonies, and claiming that one has seen a qilin in the street is somewhat of a common conspiracy theory.

30 Day Dragon Share - Day 1: Favorite Light dragons
Roial - Cereza
Velvel - Kazuhiko
Special Mention: Romulus
My Light dragons~! All of which I’m proud of in some way or the other....and all who face to the right side of the screen... Hmm. (Except Romulus, who’s looking like he knows more than he lets on.)
Have some lore snippets for all of them beneath the cut!
Roial is our spy! Don’t let those glowing eyes fool you; he’s incredibly stealthy and clever. If he’s not on a mission requested by one of the higher ups (Terrinia, Saboo, Alia), he’s generally keeping a very close eye on any newcomers that step into Clan Terria. Plus, his wife is just adorable...and they’re adorable together!
Bayanar- or Cereza- is a literal golden child from a cult. Though left behind (or kicked out; her story changes all the time), Cereza has made quite the spot in the clan with her appearance alone! (And once I’m done dressing her, she’ll be an ICON.)
Velvel- despite his Light ties- is actually Shadetouched! His Runes keep the Shade under control, but left him neglected by his parents as they had to wrangle in his siblings (who had Spines- making their Shade powers more troublesome- and made them difficult to raise as a result). However, he’s taken the upbringing well... Kind of. This dragon seeks as many partners as possible to fill a void and, more simply, to have fun.
Kazuhiko is a part of the Kitsune subspecies on FR. He’s a nine-tailed tenko, a pure race that is incredibly powerful. However, instead of flexing this power, Kazu typically keeps to himself, within a shrine that is his home base and the surrounding forestry. He’s close friends with another dragon because of this (Hayashi, a 4-tailed forest spirit kitsune) and is content with his life how it is.
Finally, little Romulus... Eternally a child with no real idea why (nor the care to think about it too hard), he wandered off from home and found himself at the home of Aleka and Firewall, the latter a nearly complete robot dragon, if not for the failing heart inside. While Aleka works on keeping him alive and healthy, it’s Romulus who’s been adopted by Firewall, the two easily likened to a sibling pair, though it’s more like Firewall is a father to the little one with how overprotective he can be!
