Lisa has been heavily disappointing me for a while now and it’s not just due to her association with the Arnault family but some aspects of her attitude are also showing to be very hypocritical and fake. Blinks as a fandom have been too hypocritical too because one thing is having a contract under a LVMH brand that you are tied to and another is dating and willingly tie yourself to them and their brand.

Ever since that relationship started to become very clear I raised my concerns over her being used by them to push their image in France and the way Lisa was associating herself with their political agendas such as her being buddies with the first lady of France. None other act that was due to appear on the charity event other than Lisa was hanging out with the French government who are very notable for their ties with the Arnaults. Everytime someone pointed this out you would get called an anti. The Arnaults are not liked in France due to them being major contributors to poverty in France and their ties to the french government.

A lot of the activities Lisa had this year seem more about promoting the LVMH brands that Frederic is appointed for rather than her solo career. Again, using her F1 appearance as an example, that was solely to promote Frederic’s Tag Heuer collaboration with F1/Red Bull. Not about her career. Then, her collab with the clothing brand KITH whose founder is a major investor on 1srael and friends with Frédéric - they recently shared a collab for Tag Heuer/F1. And when people pointed this out we’d be shut down again. This isn’t just about Lisa endorsing brands anymore but about building a personal relationship to these people beyond work.

I won’t be here to baby sitting Lisa, she’s a grown woman and her being so far removed from the world isn’t an excuse for it. Seeing Lisa travel the world with this family in their private yachts and private islands is so bizarre considering how that wealth has been build and how they hold such damaging political views.

I won’t be supporting her single that is dedicated to that terrible man but watch a lot of people romanticize the entire thing just because he is a billionaire (as if that’s not an entire red flag within itself). There’s not ethical or clean billionaire in the world.

fully agree on how the ties with him / his family are damaging to her career and image, while he / his family / his brands benefit from being connected with her. not primarily financially but ever since the relationship has become public knowledge, he has had many of her fans defending him, singing his praises, and basically trying to give him a good image because he’s associated with her. all the while she gets slutshamed, called a golddigger and other insults, and gets dragged into this mess. and it’s pretty apparent that he has noticed how good it is to be associated with her and is using it to his advantage (the f1 event is a good example, i remember we had a similar conversation on this blog after it). now, she is most likely aware of the situation and sees it as doing something to help someone she loves, but she needs someone to knock some sense into her and make her see that it may do good for him but it doesn’t do any good for her (also for her morals cause those people are NOT good company)

that being said, do i think that her being around him and his family and social circle while she participates in events like the global citizen festival looks incredibly hypocritical? fuck yes! do i think it makes her fake? not necessarily. we don’t much about the pinks’ backgrounds, but i think it’s safe to say they grew up on the wealthier side, so lisa might removed from the lives of normal people. you say it’s not an excuse and i fully agree — it is an explanation, especially if you choose to give her the benefit of the doubt (as i’m doing) when judging her actions. this has nothing to do with her dating him though cause she needs to break things off IMMEDIATELY, but to me calling her fake is a bit of a leap
