Timeline 12 March 2024 - June 2024
For completeness and to consult when there’s discussion about his whereabouts. In addition to the previous timelines.
Timeline 12 covers 2 March 2024 - 29 June 2024
For previous dates see timeline 11
On 2 March he's at the Hyrox races in Glasgow, some fan pics were posted. He was registered and results showed up on the website, but it's unclear if he competed himself or someone else in his slot as he never posted any pics
In the weeks after he stays in Scotland a fan pic was taken on March 6th in Doune
Same day he posted some stories from Loch Lubnaig, recording a promo for MoM and getting interviewed by Charlotte Reather at his home for The Field magazine.
On 17 March he posts a story showing the St. Patrick Parade in London. A day later Paul Telfer posts a pic saying he met Sam in London over the weekend. Another fan pic taken on 20 March shows he's still in London.
On 21 March Starz finally get the word out OL S7b will be released in November, fans are not happy. Most likely they recorded the same day a promo showing S8 production started Monday 25 March,
while we already saw he was back home on Friday 22 March by a story, and a post on 24 March, the last one recorded over the weekend
More fan service posted on 1 April by Starz and confirmation of a 4 day break over Easter, back to work on Tuesday 2 April
On 13 April he's at Landcon 6 in Paris where he tells they've been filming S8 for 3 weeks now. Lots of videos and pics are shared as well as a live blog (also see my archive)
The next day he's registered for Hyrox Cologne but doesn't turn up, instead he's spotted by 2 fans in Paris. He flies back the evening of 14 April to Edinburgh
On 21 April he's spotted in Edinburgh by 2 fans, he apparently is there to treat his OL team on a lunch at Tony Singh's Supperclub in Edinburgh. In the evening he's spotted again
The next day on Monday evening 22 April he visits Midhope Castle with AN, where he's gifted some socks, but everyone is more curious what he's holding in his hands as it looks like a map or documents!
On 25 April he's in Edinburgh getting interviewed, two youtube videos are posted on 24 May
The weekend of 27 & 28 April is the MPC Gala weekend, lots of videos and pics are posted from the workout session on Saturday evening and the Peaker Games at Murray Filed on Sunday and the closing Gala. (see my archive for more footage)
On 30 April, his birthday he gets his birthday cake at the read through of Block 2 S8.
On 4 May he posts a couple of selfies showing he's in London. The same day a fan spots him in Kensington having lunch with SHer. He went to see her race at the Hyrox event in the same area, he didn't compete himself despite being registered (again)
It's unclear if he has been on set the week after, there are some doubts. Though he seems to be (back) home on 14 May when he posts a story from a magazine which shows his kitchen counter on the background.
The next day 15 May, he's clearly back on set showing his trailer which seems to be decorated during his absence by a costume designer (he tags). It's food for jokes during the next days and week.
On 24 May he posted a video announcing from the decorated trailer he'll be at Top Shelf in SF on October 5&6.
On 29 May an article is published by JJ of him holding hands on Dean street in London with a 'mystery woman', which caused quite some stir, he even adjusts the settings on his IG for some days
On 30 May he drives Dries Vos around Glasgow on his motorbike as if nothing happened.
On 1 June (OL Day) a teaser for S7b is released and a final date is announced (22 November)
On 2 June he posts a video and pics from a Kayak trip he apparently had the day before with some of crew members
On 5 June he posted a video joking about Taylor Swift who's going to give some concerts during the next weekend in Edinburgh which most of the cast will attend per his saying
On 7 June he apparently attended a concert of James at the OvoHydro in Glasgow. Most likely with a crew member as that person posted about it as well
On 8 June the main cast of OL and Maril and publisher Louisa attended the Eras Tour Concert from Taylor Swift in Edinburgh. Many posted their videos and pictures (more in archive)
The weekend of 15 June he stayed at the Avochie Estate where he spent an afternoon fly-fishing on the River Deveron
On 21 June he posted a story showing the new Mudlarking book from his kitchen counter
On 23 June he did a self-guided mountainbike ride at Comrie Croft, some fans posted a picture at the Tea Garden at Comrie
On 29 June he attended (again) the Giorgio Armani Tennisclassics. He was spotted seating in the audience next to a woman who turned out to be Alice P. showing some PDA

christmas gift-wrapping
word count: 1,3k | a/n: death talk. i can't offer much to prime's fandom, but i can offer you a perspective on grieving characters.
"Do you miss him every day?"
Distracted with gift wrapping, Blair almost didn't catch Autumn's question. They shifted their gaze to her face, mulling on her words for a few seconds. The lights in the art classroom were turned off and the weak winter sun made its way through the blinds. Coloured paper sheets were scattered around the desks. A big splotch of acrylic paint adorned the floor between the two friends.
"No."
Autumn was focused on the cardboard in her hands. She cut the tiny Christmas trees with practised ease. On the table, a pile with decorations waiting to be tied had taken shape. "Me neither."
"Why do you ask?"
"I'd been feeling guilty about it," Autumn told them. She joined her eyebrows, a little crease forming between them. "It's- I don't really think about her a lot these days."
"That's understandable… there's a lot going on."
"I guess 'miss' isn't the right word. It's not- It's not miss… Sometimes it feels like she's never existed. It's almost like it's always been just me and my dad, like things have always been like this."
"Do you forget about it, sometimes?"
"That she's dead? Yeah. I thought it'd... stop with time, but I still forget about it." She tilted her head. "And then... sometimes it's like there's never been a before. I don't remember life before her death."
Blair let go of the ribbon they had been trying to curl. "I don't remember a lot of things about him. I have these really strong memories, but they are blurry. And, yeah, everything else is empty."
"I don't really remember what we used to do together." Autumn pulled on her braid. "I know I used to arrive home around three, and she was probably in the kitchen… or in her bedroom, and, um… I know this, but I don't really remember it."
"I don't remember his voice."
"I don't remember hers either."
"I don't remember my last conversation with him." Blair fidgeted with the red wrapping paper. "It was in the car. I, um, we had passed by this… big park and I pointed something to him. I don't remember what it was. I think they were having an arts festival."
"Did it look fun?"
"Yes. I think they were projecting a movie in a wall… or it was a screen- Those really tall white screens. I think that's what I said to him."
"We should do that sometime." Autumn went back to cutting the cardboard. "There's a lot of empty space in the school. We could, um, do a film club or something like it. I have a lot of VHS tapes at home… we can ask Nishan to convert them- Well. I think he can do that."
"I think I still have his old projector. We can use it."
"Do you think he would've liked here?"
"California? Yes. He was excited to start university." Blair plucked their eyebrows. Autumn shifted her attention to their face, listening. "His dream school was Hollywood University. He had got into University of Glasgow, and he was happy with it… but it is across the Atlantic."
"Do you think he could've, like, transferred, maybe? After some time, I mean."
"No. He wouldn't have left me behind."
"What if your mom had still gotten the job offer? Then all of you could've come together."
"Maybe. I don't know. I think she only started applying to jobs after the divorce," Blair told Autumn. "And he had a really good scholarship, so perhaps we wouldn't have moved. My dad would have felt guilty about it."
Autumn nodded, thoughtful. "And I think… well, supporting four people in another country would've been hard. Harder."
"Yeah. It's a hypothetical, anyway."
They retreated into silence. Blair grabbed another box, this one addressed to Payton. While they measured how much wrapping paper they would need, Autumn moved on to another cardboard sheet.
"How do you think I should cut these?"
Blair lifted their eyes once again, frowning immediately. In light pencil sketch, Autumn had drawn very intricate snowflake designs. "I have no idea."
"Yeah, I didn't think this through." She then left out a coy giggle, admiring her work: "There's no way I can cut between these… wow, these very tiny spaces."
"Why would you do this? You should have used paper."
"I don't know! It looks pretty, though."
"You are wasting cardboard."
Autumn rolled her eyes. She threatened Blair with her scissors, "pay attention to your job. You're creasing Mia's fancy paper- Don't forget she only lent it to us."
"She's havering. No way she expects me to wrap all of these…- I'm not wasting time thinking of her. Whatever."
"She's gonna make you stay behind in practice again. Your, um, touch toe- Toe touch- Well, the leg thing looks awful!"
"Weesht."
Their giggles echoed in the empty classroom. A courageous little bird sang nearby the window, outbraving the cold. Many years ago, Blair would have been able to identify the species. The high, evenly timed chirps almost made them nostalgic, a song they hadn't heard in a while. A grimace covered their expression.
"My last conversation with my mom was in the hospital." Autumn's voice brought Blair out of their reverie. She pulled on the ends of her braid, her eyes distant and unfocused. "I had a test on the next day and I had to leave early to study. She, um, she was wearing those… breathing masks-? Oxygen mask. She told me she loved me and not to worry, so I, um, I didn't."
"Did she die too long after?"
"No, not really. She was put into a coma and they tried to… well, they tried everything they could, I think. I like to think this way." Autumn thought for a few seconds before continuing: "I talked to her every day afterwards. I'd tell her about my day and how we were doing and the things we still had to do together. I remember- Okay, I remember not telling her about this camera I had found in a thrift store because I wanted it to be a surprise. So I told her I had bought something very cool and she had to wake up to see it."
Blair smiled softly. "What did you do with the camera?"
"It's… it's somewhere in my room. She never got to see it so I kinda… I don't know, lost interest in it."
"I think you should start using it. It was interesting enough for you to want to show her."
"Maybe. It just feels like I'm- I don't know, letting her go. It was something for the both of us… using it without her is weird."
"I see."
"But I don't know."
"I was in a coma. After the accident."
"Were you?"
Blair nodded, cutting adhesive tape. "For three days. It's… a weird experience. It's like dreaming, but not really… it's almost like a really, really long dream where you're dreaming nothing."
"That sounds terrifying."
"A little. My father was by my side the entire time."
"Did he tell you?"
"No." Blair measured Autumn. "I heard."
Autumn measured them back, in silence. She gave Blair a short nod and didn't say anything else, returning to her decorations. Blair wasn't sure if they had said something they should not have, but they didn't ruminate on it for too long. They still had many gifts to wrap, and the conversation was only making them drain time.
After a few minutes, Autumn sighed. "Okay, I give up. There's no way I can cut these- Look at this!"
"No."
"No, really- Look at it!" She mourned: "It was so pretty! Now it's… well, it's less pretty… and choppy and… unusable."
"I told you to use paper."
"Okay, you did. And I didn't. Okayyyy. My bad." Autumn let go of her scissors, rolling her eyes. She then twisted her lips. "Let me help you with these gifts before Mia appears to complain about us holding her paper hostage."
Blair stepped aside to make space for Autumn, and the two spent the following thirty minutes cutting and wrapping the remaining gift boxes in comfortable quietness. They only stopped when Julian poked his head through the door and let out an excited exclamation about the height of the gift pile. After trying to knock it down, he was promptly chased out of the classroom.

NOSTALGIA UK
My first chicken curry (Summer 1994)
When Nasrul and I were at Shaikh’s place in our first week in Glasgow, I was struck by his ability to cook. It might seem like a small thing now, but at 17 years old, seeing someone just slightly older confidently preparing rice and chicken curry was nothing short of impressive. He casually explained the process as though it were the easiest thing in the world.
I remember him saying, “It’s simple—just heat up the oil, throw in some sliced onions and garlic, pour in some curry powder, add water, throw in some chopped potatoes, let it simmer and add some fresh milk,” as though anyone could master it on the first try. Deep down, I was eager to give it a go myself, imagining the satisfaction of serving up my own homemade curry.
That chance finally came when we moved into our shared flat near the University of Glasgow. With seven of us under one roof and no one volunteering to be the designated chef, we decided to rotate the duty—each person cooking dinner for the group once a week. It was a fair system, but to me, it felt like an adventure waiting to happen.
When my turn came, I was both excited and a little nervous. I wanted to replicate Shaikh’s effortless style, but more than that, I wanted the others to enjoy what I made. Standing in the kitchen, I followed the steps I’d learned from him, adding my own hopeful adjustments along the way. By the time dinner was served, I was beaming with pride. My first curry wasn’t perfect, but it was mine, and I think everyone was happy.
Dinner time became the highlight of our days. We’d all gather around the table in the lower ground kitchen , the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air. It wasn’t just about eating; it was about coming together, sharing laughter, recounting the day’s antics, and plotting our weekend plans. The meals were mostly outright experimental—but the conversation and camaraderie more than made up for it.
Looking back, those dinners were more than just meals; they were moments of connection. Each dish carried a little piece of its maker’s effort and personality, and each evening brought us closer together. And to think it all started with a simple desire to cook my own curry.

Transform your kitchen into a charming, countryside haven with rustic and farmhouse-inspired elements that evoke warmth and simplicity. Incorporating these design trends will not only bring a touch of nostalgia but also create a space that exudes comfort and freedom.
Imagine walking into a kitchen filled with aged wooden cabinets, exposed beams, and vintage accessories that transport you back to simpler times. The combination of distressed finishes and natural materials like stone countertops and copper fixtures adds character to the space, while open shelving showcases your collection of mismatched crockery and mason jars filled with fresh herbs.
Whether you're sipping coffee by the window or preparing a hearty meal for loved ones, this rustic aesthetic offers a sense of tranquility and liberation from the hustle and bustle of modern life. So why not embrace this trend in 2023? Let your kitchen be a sanctuary where you can escape to the countryside without ever leaving your home.
Vibrant Colors and Bold Accents
Immerse yourself in a world of vibrant colors and bold accents, giving your kitchen a lively and energetic atmosphere.
In 2023, one of the top kitchen design trends in Glasgow is to embrace vibrant colors and incorporate bold accents into your kitchen space. This trend allows homeowners to break free from the constraints of traditional neutral tones and explore their creativity with eye-catching hues.
From electric blues to fiery reds, these vibrant colors can instantly uplift any kitchen, creating a sense of freedom and self-expression. Bold accents such as statement tiles or colorful appliances further enhance the overall aesthetic, adding that extra touch of personality to your cooking haven.
So why settle for ordinary when you can infuse your kitchen with an explosion of color? Let your imagination run wild and transform your kitchen into a vibrant oasis that reflects your unique style and desire for liberation.
Smart and High-Tech Appliances
Step into the future with cutting-edge appliances that bring convenience and innovation to your kitchen space. In 2023, one of the top kitchen design trends in Glasgow is the integration of smart and high-tech appliances.
Imagine being able to control your oven temperature from your smartphone or having a refrigerator that can suggest recipes based on the ingredients inside. These advanced appliances not only make cooking easier but also add a touch of luxury to your kitchen.
With voice-activated assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, you can effortlessly control multiple appliances with just a few commands, giving you more freedom and flexibility in your culinary endeavors.
The sleek designs and intuitive interfaces of these high-tech appliances will make cooking feel like a breeze, allowing you to focus on what truly matters – creating delicious meals for yourself and loved ones.
Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Materials
Upgrade your kitchen with sustainable and eco-friendly materials that bring a natural and earthy vibe to your cooking space.
In 2023, Glasgow's kitchen design trends are embracing the use of environmentally conscious materials that not only enhance the aesthetics but also contribute to a greener future.
Imagine countertops made from recycled glass or reclaimed wood, adding a touch of rustic charm while reducing waste.
Cabinets crafted from bamboo or cork offer durability and uniqueness, promoting responsible sourcing.
Additionally, eco-friendly flooring options like cork or bamboo can provide a warm and inviting feel underfoot while minimizing environmental impact.
By incorporating these sustainable elements into your kitchen design, you not only create an inviting space for culinary adventures but also contribute to the preservation of our planet—a true embodiment of freedom for those seeking harmony with nature.
