Hi!! It’s Ramble anon!!
I wanted to gush a little about part 3!! (I wanted to do it sooner, but I had a big exam in the late morning 😔)
It was a lovely read, you write so daintily, it feels like I’m watching a movie instead of reading a story!!
First of all, I wanted to say that I‘m so happy that you enjoy what I write to you! I absolutely have a blast rambling to you, the creator of this beautiful story, about anything that gets my attention, I’m so honored😭 (and absolutely do not be sorry!! Take your time for anything!!)
Ik there are siblings outings, just spilling the tea 😌
Lo’ak and Y/N totally sound like the siblings that would bicker and be mean and sarcastic to each other, but the moment someone messes with one of them... (when they DO hang out, they are like SO reckless lmao, I think they wouldn’t be allowed, they would need a chaperone (Neteyam 😭))
About the colors of the Ikrans!!
Neteyam -> ikran with greenish hues like Seze
Lo’ak -> ikran with blueish hues like Bob
Kiri -> now, it’s just an headcanon!! But I’d like to think that her ikran has light lilac hues like Vitraya Ramunong, with a little bit of green in the chin and tail and sprinkled a bit on the back (because she’s so connected to Eywa, it’d be kinda cool!) (from what I’ve seen in the comics (not much tbh) Kiri’s ikran is like greenish? Oh well)
And Y/N: I absolute have no idea!! Do you have any? I’m super curious! (Btw I LOVE his personality (he’s a boy!!! So cute 😭)
“the vibe of an older sister who doesnt want to hang with her younger siblings” PLSS 😭 she doesss look like that, I KNOW Tuk begs and begs
Now about the chapter!!
Quaritch calling u sweetheart 🤢
The headbutt scene made me so happy, Fuck You Quarith Get Wrecked
But Y/N thinking her dad would leave her to fend for herself is so heartbreaking, but what was even more heartbreaking, was Y/N trying to hide her gunshot wound, she was so scared, I loved the scene, I felt how panicked she was.. (her trying to console her mom, PLS; BUT her dad NOT consoling her after she got kidnapped and almost got killed?? FOUL)
Btw Like HOW strong is she to be able to hide a gunshot would to her abdomen?? My girl is STURDY
And her ikran bringing Neytiri and Jake to Y/N!! Neytiri was so sad she got her ikran (I think it’s something that will be talked about again 😭)
[..] Father is angry, I don’t—”
“Nonsense.” Incredulous and enraged suddenly about something you couldn’t put a finger on [..]
Ik Jake was scared, but man, he chose to go THE wrong way about it 😭, I mean IGNORING her??
[..] “Don’t tell him! Don’t tell father! He’ll really kill me for this—”
“No, no no no,” she shook her head, frenzied, tone cracked from beginning to end. “Do not say that. Don’t you ever say that—”
[..] “He’ll be so angry,” you begged, pleading, pink spit bubbling at the corners of your mouth. The sound of gurgling accompanying the words you forced your whole body to form. “You can’t tell him — you can’t! He already hates me!” [..]
“Please don’t be mad,” you shuddered, meek and unsteady, tunnel vision flickering at the edges only perceiving him. “It’s my fault—I’m sorry—please don’t be angry—”
[..] he didn’t even want to hear you talking.
And you fulfilled his wish.
YOU ARE CRUSHING MY HEART PLS 😭
It’s battered to the ground, it’s been stepped on and spit on
Her siblings are going to be so horrified, I can only imagine Neteyam’s guilt (he was so worried, poor boy) and Lo’ak’s 😭 (He was mocking her so much, such sibling behavior lmao, but I think he will feel like very BAD about it, but who knows??)
“The way Neytiri is going to smear your face with blood eerily the same pattern as she’s freaking out is going to be so symbolic — that this is your ceremonial paint and what a bad omen it is. A direct punishment from Eywa made clear to your parents”
IRMA, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT 🤨
Pls this is going to hurt so good 😭
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
(I’m so tired, my energy was sucked off from that exam, I hope there are not any mistakes lmao)
HI RAMBLE ANON, please don't worry about it, ur not obligated to send me these amazing messages in the first place, I will be happy regardless whenever or ifever I get them, I will always be thankful! I hope your exam results will be exactly how you wanted them to be 💞💞
YEAHHHHH SHE AND LO'AK ARE JUST MENACES TOGETHER!! I remember talking about this in another ask, but I have to say I really imagine Sister!Reader traumatizing Aonung for almost getting Lo'ak killed, like, the scene I have in my mind goes like: even after Lo'ak and Aonung reach a mutual understanding and empathy, to make him feel the hopelessness and abandonment her brother felt, she takes Aonung as high as they can in her ikran and just plays acrobatics with him 😭 Aonung thinks he'll literally die DHSJDS She is NOT playing around. When Jake is about to scold her (but really is SUPER proud she disguised it as "friends being pals") she is like "well i had to teach him not to mess with my siblings again. in good sport, of course. like you said" and Jake can barely stop the smirk LMAOOOO
And the ikran colors! I really love your headcanon of Kiri's ikran being the tree of souls' colors OH MY GOD!
Part of why I answered this question too late was that I didn't want to reveal sister!reader's ikran's colors bc it was supposed to be a surprise! But DUDUNNNN it's Toruk's color scheme!!! Not the prettiest color palette but it's 🤙🏻symbolic🤙🏻 you know? And sister!reader is the only one having a warm-colored ikran in her family. All the others have pretty forest-colored ones. She is all fire.
Also, Jake was so busy panicking about Quaritch and how they literally went undetected right under his nose that he forgot 😭 It's good angst material, though. His mind is always on how to protect that he fails to most of the time. (Am I a jake apologist???? GASP)
AND EHEHEH I HOPE YOU LIKE THE BLOODIED IKNIMAYA MOMENT IN THE NEW CHAPTER, I SAID WHAT I SAID!
Thank you so much for this! I hope you have an amazing day <33

Traitor Part 8
part one// part two// part three// part four// part five// part 6// part 7
Y/N spent the next two hours sobbing so hard that she was gagging, and the three after that looking off into space. Her eyes lied desolate, and her body lied still and empty. Sometimes she would shiver violently, or a tear would fall down her face.
Ever since Bakugo forced her to down her meds, Kirishima had been glued to her side, assuming that, what he did would be her breaking point. The straw that broke  the camels back. The thing that would finally force her to get better and be back to normal. Little did Kiri realize, that there is no normal. Not anymore, nit after what happened to her.
After he realized that he left, after seeing Y/N in her state, it looked like she was only moments away from dying, and he just couldn’t stand it. He tried his best to help and comfort her but nothing worked, and then he realized that nothing would probably work. He came to the heartbreaking realization that he wouldn’t be able to help her. He didn’t want to cry in front of her, and it made him feel weak. He felt he had no right to cry, not in front of her.
He almost made it to his room. Almost. He had his door on the doorknob when he sunk to the floor like melted ice cream. Rambling on, in words that nobody would understand. He began to sob so loudly, he was wailing. This attracted the attention of his classmates, who were just beginning to settle in to bed.
Bakugou flew out of his room, in a panic at the sounds of his friends cries. Followed by Mina, Sero, Todoroki and Deku, albiet much slower. Bakugo was by his side in seconds, kneeling to see if he hurt. Once he realized that she wasn’t physically hurt, his concern only grew for Y/N, assuming that something happened to her.
“ Is it Y/N? Is she hurt?” Kirishima only muttered madly in response, which quickly grew into sobbing and incoherent mumbles.
Bakugo’s eyes grew wide in a state of confusion. He himself was on the verge of panic, but he knew that he had to remain calm, if not for his sake, for Kirishima’s sake, and if not for Kirishima’s sake, then for Y/N.
“ What happened?” he asked in as sturdy a voice that he could manage. Kirishima tried to speak, but he only began blubbering again, and crying much louder. Bakugou sensing a oncoming meltdown put a stop to it as soon as possible. “ Uh...uh.. none of that. I can’t help you if you keep talking all that nonsense... if you want my help, I need you to calm down.”
Kirishima wanted to calm down, he really did, but he didn’t no how to very well, which resulted in him just holding his breath and attempting to wipe the tears away. His attempts proved futile, because it didn’t work.
“ Hey... hey... hey. You can’t do that. Just breathe , will ya? In and out I know you know how.”
Slowly, but only slightly Kirishima’s breathing began to slow to a pace that was barely substandard, only enough for him to feel like he wasn’t dying every time he gasped for air, now he only felt like he needed a oxygen tank.
“ Now, can you tell me what happened?” Bakugou asked again.
“ I.... I.... she-she... I don’t think- I don’t think I can help her.” he managed. His breath began to quicken, as he finally admitted it outloud.
“ I’m sure that’s not true.” Mina suggested.
“ I don’t think that she’s going to get better.” he spoke again. This time oddly calm. Tears still flowed down his face, but his voice was oddly stable and calm.
“ She will get better, we just have to stay positive and be there for her!” Sero spoke.
“ She won’t even look at me! SHE FLINCHES WHEN I TOUCH HER.” He yelled. He was starting to get angry, extremely angry, witch was scary to everyone witnessing it,
“ Calm-” Bakugou started.
“ HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN WHEN THE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS SICK, AND IN PAIN, AND WON’T LET ME HELP HER.” He began to stand, with full force full of rage.
“ Love of your life?” Todoroki asked.
“ I RUINED HER LIFE, WE RUINED HER LIFE, AND US STANDING HERE AND PRETENDING THAT WE DIDN’T-, I... she hates me.” His voice dropped off mid statement. “ She hates me, and she has every right to hate me.”
“ Now I’m sure that’s not true.” Mina asked.
“ She called me pathetic, and weak, and a coward..” His voice was frail and shakey. And he felt like he would collapse to his knees again. But he tried his best to remain stable.
“ I’m sure she didn’t mean it.” Sero suggested.
“ She meant it, and she was right.” he said, his eyes darted to the floor in shame. “ I didn’t stick up for her, I wasn’t there for her, not when she needed me. I should have listened to her, I loved her and I thought... She trusted me and I failed her. I should have been there... I failed her.” The last bit came out as a broken whisper. He began n to speak to himself. Then his eyes darted upwards in sudden shock and realization. “ We didn’t even say sorry.”
“ Sorry?” Denki asked.
“ Sorry, for the pain that she is in and the pain we caused her.. for the role that I played in it.” Suddenly as if he was a puppet on a string he beagn to walk back in the direction that he came.
“ Where are you going?” Bakugou asked.
“ To say sorry.”
Meanwhile, halfway across campus, Y/N had just began to physically recover from what just happened. Her head was looking at the ground because she didn’t even have the energy to look up anymore. Then her head suddenly shot up like a bullet.
“ How did you get in here?”
“ I have my ways.” a voice spoke from behind her.
“ Why are you here?” she asked, despite the fact that she tried to come off as harsh, but it was way too shaky to come off as anything but nervous.
“ Can’t a father just come to see his daughter.?”
sorry it took so long to update, i have alot going on right now. I’m working on getting my book published as well as a play, but i hope you enjoy. also this series is coming to a end so if you have any requests that you like me to write, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Baby, Have My Babies - Ejiro Kirishima
summary: you and your pro hero fiancé take a romantic getaway for valentines day with one thing on his mind; baby making.
author’s note: oh hai! so this baby is for the corruption event @ultimate-astridwriting and @bummie is hosting for valentines day! shout out to them for including me 🥺. check out the other works that participated and as always enjoy!
warnings: smut! (minors no peeking!), breeding kink, use of the word “daddy” in the sack, unprotected sex, soft dom!kiri, prohero!kiri (the big bulky one with the long hair), dirrrrty talk, I cuss a lot and Kiri nuts a lot. all characters are aged up!
The night Kirishima proposed was a beautiful valentine’s night to remember. There you were, at one of the most expensive restaurants anyone could sit at in the middle of Bora Bora (your dream vacation spot), head empty. Just the image of your boyfriend, now fiancé kneeling down on one knee to pop the prettiest question.
“Will you marry me, baby?”, Crimson eyes full of love and adoration for you and only you as you gasp, your breath stolen as you watch him pull out the biggest diamond fucking ring you’d ever seen. Of course you said yes. Why the fuck wouldn’t you?
That same night you arrive at a hotel you were staying at in Bora Bora (the most romantic location to spend your valentines day). Kirishima saw to it that yours and his things would be taken up to the suite he had already reserved and decorated to surprise you.
You open the door swiftly, Kirishima’s chest swelling with pride when he hears your girlish squeal at the sight of the romantic decor (all done by yours truly). Flower pettles littered the carpet leading to the bed where countless gifts and a huge teddy bear rested. The room was covered in candles and roses and love. It smelled sweet like vanilla as a slow piano track played softly in the background. It was like a page out of a romance novel just opened up right in front of you.
Your eyes well up with tears at the wonderful gesture. Kirishima was always a romantic; his love language being gift giving and grand gestures, but he truly out did himself tonight. As you exclaim oo’s and ah’s at all of the suites glory you feel a pair of strong arms wrap around your waist.
“You like it, honey?” He asked, leaving a trail of fluttering kisses along your neck as you swoon at his touch.
“I love it. I love you, Kiri.” Gushing as you spin around on your heels to reach up and kiss him. Instinctively, He hoists you into his loving arms; your legs wrapped around his waist, his hands firmly gripping your ass as one falls to push all the teddy bears off the bed he needed you in.
He lays you carefully onto the bed and admired your body from way up there (boy is tall), drinking you in and groaning at the sight of your face looking up at him all flushed and innocent-like. God, he couldn’t wait to ruin you completely and thoroughly.
“I’ve been thinking baby..” Kiri started to say, ripping your poor dress in half with his seemingly handcrafted hands and chuckling at your high pitched squeak. “What if..” after pressing a wet kiss on your midriff, trailing the attention down just above where you wanted him. “..we tried *kiss* for a *kiss* baby..?”
You shudder at his minstrations, biting your lip as you feel him prod his thick fingers over your clothed pussy. You wince at the sound of his groan at the feeling of your wet pussy practically sticking to your panties.
“So whaddya say?” He persisted, cock growing at the burning question. You were already so drunk on him, his mouth leaving open mouthed kisses over your covered heat causing you to slowly lose focus on anything other than the thought of just being railed already.
“M-Mm-hm..” You manage, nodding your head as you feel Kirishima smirk against your panties.
“You gonna let me, baby? Gonna let me fuck that cunt? Hm?” At this point he’s slurping on your pussy as he’s talking to you with that filthy mouth of his. God yes, you wanted to say but he’s devouring so good the only thing you can say is his title.
“D-Daddy! Ughhn fuck.” You cry, nearing your end surprisingly fast as his soft lips wrap around your aching clit.
“C’mon, baby. Cum all over my fucking mouth.” He huffed against you, humming into your pussy as he reattached his lips onto the throbbing bud. You arch your back up off the bed, toes curling and eyes rolled at the back of your head as you do as you were told.
Curses leave your lips as Kirishima continues his assault on your pussy, fucking you through your orgasm and working on a second one as he now has those fingers inside you. You gasp, whimpering as he hooked his fingers just like always to drive you crazy. Works everytime.
“Daddy, p-please. S’too much!” You lament, trying to pry your poor overstimulated pussy away from the hungry beast devouring you.
Kirishima loves when you try to escape him; an ego trip floating in his mind as he watched you writhe and struggle to leave his strong grasp.
“Uh-uh baby, where ya goin’?” He teased, latching his mouth onto your pussy as he fingered you. His lips were replaced by his warm tongue, licking and sucking as he stroked your walls with his fingers. You melt under his touch, worrying that the other guests staying on your floor could hear your desperate cries for more.
“God, give it to me. Fuckin’ give it to me.” Kiri soothed, feeling your hands tangle into his long red tresses as another orgams ripped through your whole body. Your thighs clamp around his head as you shake like a leaf. He paused for a moment to take in your half-ruined body, hungry for the satisfaction completely railing you into a stuttering mess.
Kirishima sits right up and grabs your face to plant a sinful kiss, tongues tasting each other as moans exchange between the two of you.
He pulls away, slick coating his chin as he hoisted himself on top of you. He propped himself up on one arm, the other taking his bulging cock into his hand to tease against your dripping folds.
“So fucking wet, baby.” He panted, “Ready for me? Want my dick inside you? Huh baby?” He cooed, the only thing he can hear is an out of breath and whiny little baby begging for his dick.
Kirishima sat up, pulling you off the bed as he wrapped your legs around him. You mewl at his brut strength, him lifting you with such ease throwing you for a loop. You wrap your arms around his neck as he prodded himself at your soaking wet pussy, sinking your body down onto him as you both moan at the feeling.
“Gonna fill you so fucking good. You like that? You love it when I fuck you like this, dont you?” He rambled, your gummy walls felt so good wrapped around his swollen cock. His hands gripped your ass as he slammed you down onto his dick, the sudden deepness causing your nails to sink into his back.
You shriek everytime your pussy took him in, back arching as the head brushed up against your g-spot. Your legs are shaking again, watching your feet as they dangle at either side of Kirishima’s body. His thrusts are strong, purposeful as he used you like a fuck toy all while standing up.
Your pussy made embarrassing noises, Kirishima commenting as the assault continued more forcefully.
“Shiiit. I love your fucking pussy. So wet. All for me, yeah?” Your response frantic nonsense.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck! Yes, daddy. G-give me more.” And so he does; his grip on your hips tighten as he slams you down slower and harder repeatedly hitting your g-spot at a new angle as he hunched over with you in his arms.
He started thrusting up into you, his large hand smacking down on your ass as he pounded you into nirvana.
“Mmm, you feel so fucking good, baby. Want me to fill you? You like it when I stuff you, huh?”
There was the familiar feeling coming yet again, stomach flipping and eyes fluttering as you sob into Kirishima’s neck.
“God, yes daddy! Cum inside me please, I-I need it.” You gripe, grabbing hold of one of your breasts as you attempt to grind into his thrusts in time with him.
“You need it, baby? Oh, I’m gonna give it to you. Just cum one more time for me.” He huffed, the feeling of your sopping wet walls clamping down onto him slowly becoming too much.
You pant, your face pulling into that little fucked out face Kirishima loved as you scream his name. Your whole body ignites, curses leaving your mouth as you cream all over his dick.
“Yeahhhh. That’s it baby. ‘M gonna fill you-fuck! I love you.” Kirishima said frantically; rutting into as few times before unloading himself inside you.
You feel his cum fill you up deliciously, the feeling of his dick throbbing inside you as he oozed causing you to whine. You feel him fuck his cum inside you; eager to breed you before pulling you off of his cock with a satisfied groan.
“Fuck sake.” He gasped. You were always such a good fuck. It should be illegal for your pussy to be that good. As he pulled out of your used hole, you felt the thick liquid drip out of you as Kirishima carried you to the master bathroom which was also candlelit.
“Let’s get cleaned up and keep this going. I can’t wait to see you waddling with my baby inside you.” He manifested. You hum into his chest as he cradled you like precious cargo, running the hot water for a bath for two.
“Love you” You slur, lazily dipping a finger into the bath.
“Ditto, babe.”

soft boys
— — — — —
Bon thought moments like these might be his favorite. Moments where they were just existing together. Hanging together without needing any plans or activities, it was enough just to talk or sit in silence or do their homework close to each other. There wasn't a need to perform or present himself a certain way in moments like these. He seldom wasted time in his life. There was always a schedule to mind, and he was rigorous in keeping it.
It stood to reason if anyone could make him deliberately carve time into his stuffed schedule solely for 'relaxing', it would be Rin.
They weren’t doing anything at all. It was three o’clock on a random Saturday, rainy as hell, a bit cold in the old bedroom, and instead of taking proper advantage of the alone time, Rin was going on and on about this new manga he was reading. Rambling happily and a bit nonsensically about it. His tail was whipping through the air as he babbled, and Bon could only stare up at him, hands resting on his chest, legs propped against the wall so there was room on the bed for Rin, and smile softly at the gushing boy.
“And now I’m waiting on the next chapter to see if it’s Tsuki or Kiri!” Rin exclaimed, dropping his hand next to Bon’s arm and beaming like he’d said something really brilliant. He might have. Bon had only sort of been paying attention to the dissertation on Cakes with Flowers. He hadn’t read the manga and it was apparently loaded with characters because Rin had said at least two dozen different names. Or maybe it had been multiple mangas. Bon had just been watching Rin's expressions and listening to the sound of his voice without really picking out the words.
Rin’s looked down at him, and his cheeks turned a bit pink as Bon gazed back up at him.
“Yeah?”
Rin nodded a bit, blushing all the more. "Yeah." He paused for a beat, studying Bon in turn before smiling in a bashful way. “Hi,” he murmured, dropping more weight on his arms so there was only a little bit of space between their faces.
"Hi."
Rin stared at him for a long moment, tail now swishing thoughtfully above him. Bon eyed it with a growing grin.
"Whatcha thinking about?" He asked as his eyes moved back to Rin.
Instead of answering, Rin pivoted forward on his arms so his head was further up Bon, and then dropped down to press a kiss to Bon's lips.
It was a bit of a strange angle, his nose bumped against Rin's chin and he could feel his own bumping Rin's, but Rin shifted a little and it got nicer. Before he could quite grow used to it and work the proper angles out, Rin was pulling back.
"Always wanted to try that."
"Yeah?" Bon couldn't help a little snort of amusement. "Upside down kisses?"
Rin nodded hard enough to flop his bangs. He dipped back down to press a kiss to Bon's nose and pushed up properly. "Budge over. I wanna cuddle."
Bon did as he was ordered with a laugh. Lazy days to cuddle with Rin and learn about random mangas. It was a pretty great use of time.

(magical girl outfits are basically their hero costumes but frilly,,,and the powers are just their quirks but more magical-) please and thank you! 💖🧡💚❤️🤍✨✨✨”
a/n: ngl, i’ve been holding off on writing about this one since i had a really cute idea for it, with the lyrics to “heather” by conan grey! thank you for being so patient with this! I really enjoyed writing this prompt!!! there are going to be season 4 spoilers also just in case you haven't watched it!
Tumblr media
— bakugo katsuki
he adored you. sure he’d never tell you, he’s not a simp. you were his princess. you were powerful and in fact, you were the reason he met his match. he’d never seen you in your hero costume though and when he reflected upon it, he hadn’t see you use your quirk either. when the UA school festival came around, he was going to ask if you wanted to hear him practice but it seemed like you were nowhere to be found.
“where the hell is she?” he wondered, before the show started. he didn’t see your face in the crowd. he wasn’t just mad, just irritated. being late wasn’t really in character for you. you were rushing to do your hair backstage and as everyone fell on cue and he began playing the drums, you peeked out from the other side of the stage. he wouldn’t notice you though, as he was too busy focused on the beat.
you’d have to leave right before the end since you were nervous about him seeing you all dolled up, but you couldn’t help but admire his concentration.  the peace that came about his face as he played, the way he seemed to be enjoying himself.
the song quickly came to an end and as they made their way backstage he checked his phone. “any of you dumbasses seen y/n?” bakugo’s voice rumbled. “no.. isn’t she doing the pageant?” kaminari mentioned.
bakugo thought he was spewing nonsense, but nevertheless he’d have to pass that way to get snacks, so he went. neijire was almost done and before you knew it, it was time for you to go out. “y/f/n, y/l/n! the girl you can’t help but fall for!” the announcer said.
the way bakugo turned his head so quick.
and sure enough it was you, using your quirk to create snow around you, as your blue dress trailed around you. it had frills at the top and the bottom flowed with the wind.
he was astonished. it was you. the girl he fell in love with when you first challenged him, looking like an angel in front of his eyes.
Tumblr media
— izuku midoriya
he was beyond grateful to have you in his life. when i say beyond grateful, he thanked the universe for even letting him coexist at the same time as you. you were warm and loving, yet so tough and it shook him to his core.
so of course, he was at a loss when you didn’t want him to see you in your hero costume after the alterations were made. “you look beautiful no matter what, y/n!!” he cheered from outside your room. “I promise! it can’t be that bad!” he said, when in reality, it wasn’t that.
you just weren’t used to it. you stood in shock with yourself in front of the mirror. you looked like a princess, and after your internship with Mt. Lady, she had one of her designers work on your costume.
deku was still praising the way you would look in your costume from outside until you finally swung the door open.
his mouth dropped.
“oh, I forgot about this...” you sighed, taking your hair from out the scrunchie. it fell softly down to your shoulders and he almost fainted. your quirk fit the color of the dress perfectly, since you could make glitter rain down like hail. the sequins of the dress matched the silver of the glitter you could create
“y/n..” he began, and you blushed a bit. “what? I know, I know it’s a lot..” you said shyly, beginning to put your hair back into a bun.
“no!! it's perfect! you look perfect!” he said, practically stumbling over his words.
“you look magical!!” he said, awestruck. tears filled your eyes as he fawned over how the dress fit your personality and your quirk.
you were like a fairy. kind and goodhearted, mischievous and mythical. he was at a loss of words, the same way he felt after your first kiss.
Tumblr media
— eijiro kirishima
you made his world light up. seeing how you came in the room made him feel something, nervousness and excitement. it never went away, even after you started dating, you still made him feel nervous and thrilled. your humor, your smile, your genuineness, he loved it all.
kiri had tried on his costume first to make sure he wouldn’t tear through it while using his quirk and as you watched, you couldn’t help but wonder what your was going to look like. you had just carried the bag around all day and assumed the costume looked the same as what you’d drawn out and asked for.
you knew you had to try it on soon though, your internship with fatgum started in a few days and that’d barely be enough time if you ended up needing alterations.
“hey? how’d your costume come out?” he stopped to ask, watching you go from enthused to deeply in thought.
“oh! fine, I was just wondering when I should actually try it on..” you said, grabbing the bag from behind you.
“well we have time now if you want!” he gushed, watching as you began to get up.
“yeah, I really probably should..” you chuckled, closing your door.
as you opened the bag, you noticed that your costume was what you wanted, you just didn’t expect it to really look so beautiful. the skirt was nice and poofy and the upper portion of the dress had frilly straps. it was perfect.
using your quirk was a plus, since it made the dress shimmer. your quirk was primarily based around light and vision and the dress, the damn dress, worked so well!
as you walked out of your room, there sat kirishima and he looked stunned. “I-i..” he stopped and tried to gather his words again. “y/n.. I love it..” he said, looking as you twirled so he could get a better look at the skirt. “you’re so beautiful..” he said, getting up to give you a hug and a kiss. “wait no! look!” you said, excitedly. as you used your quirk, the dress began to shimmer and you’d seen a reaction from him that you’d never seen before.
his hands trembled as he pulled you close to him. “how’d I get so lucky..” he murmured after kissing your forehead.
throughout the rest of the day, he couldn’t get the sight of you excitedly using your quirk in your costume all day. the excitement, your radiant smile, it just reminded him of the first time you fell asleep on each other 🥺

— shouto todoroki
he knew from your first interactions that you weren’t gonna be one to be pushed away. you made him smile and you guys friends would be left wondering “wtf?? how’d you make him laugh????”even though people may have seen him as stoic, you never did. and your interest made him love you so much more. you were everything he admired in a girlfriend.
 homie felt like he got the whole package
and really, he did..
you were normally very talkative, so when everyone got their hero suits, he quickly noticed how silent you were. it just didn’t feel right.
“y/n?” he turned to you and asked, while everyone rambled about how their suits came out. “hmm?” you asked, not quite meeting his gaze in return.
it was beautiful, your costume..and it just reminded you of your dreams of becoming a hero. they were really coming true. you’d been dreaming of it since you were a toddler and now you were a hero in training with a suit and a hell of a quirk. you were a late bloomer and had gotten your quirk just months before the entrance exam but worked day and night to get in. that work paid off.
“Is there something wrong with your suit?” he asked, pondering over why you could be this quiet.
"no it’s amazing..” you said, feeling tears well in your eyes.
he was conflicted now, watching the tears well but you were smiling. “if you’d like, we’re allowed to try them on right now..” he said softly, trying to examine the situation at hand. lost in your thoughts, you forgot that’s what you were supposed to be doing and quickly grabbed your bag, hitting your desk while getting up.
the dress was lacy at the top and the straps made the whole look come together. you were so excited to put it on and as you walked back in, uraraka and mina were the first to tell you how pretty it looked.
shoto looked up from his phone and his reaction turned from nonchalance to disbelief. you looked like a princess??
as you came back to your seat, he couldn’t help but smile to himself again. “you look beautiful.” he said, his tone laced with affection.
“thank you..” you said accidentally using your quirk which made the sequins on the dress change color
needless to say, he loved seeing your hero costume..

Oh I have a question! How did your poly relationship start with the boys? Were you a couple with one of them and the other joined later or did you all get in this relationship together?
And an extra question: which one got your attention first?
Oooo I like this question! Thank you for asking Nonnie 🥺 Self shipping rambling and nonsense under the cut.
So we all got into a relationship together. Eiji and Katsu have been besties since high school. They meet me shortly after graduating and becoming sidekicks at Endeavor and Fat Gum’s agencies. I am NOT a hero. Just a regular old citizen, a waitress saving up to pay school bills while going to school for psychology. I wanna be a psychologist for heroes who need special attention after they go through fucked up situations and missions. (My first patient ends up being Hawks because I specifically request him when I became a licensed psychologist.)
ANYWHOO I meet them at the restaurant I work at. They go there a lot because Katsu likes the spicy Katsudon there. Katsu immediately catches my eye, Eiji is super polite and very fun to talk to. We became very quick friends. From there we all get into a relationship ahah.
It was actually not as confusing as I thought it’d be. Like I’ve always been very like emotionally intuitive when it comes to my own feelings so like I knew the *exact* moments I fell for both of them. It wasn’t at the same time unfortunately. I fell for Katsu first (surprise surprise haha). I mostly fell for Katsu first because I knew he needed me, if that makes sense. Like I knew there was something in my personality that he needed to grow and so I was like “Oh him. Yes. we love him.”
Kiri was always there. Always with us and hanging out and even while I was crushing on Katsu I still had this like weird pull toward Kiri. It took me a few weeks to realize I loved him because for the first time I realized that Kiri didn’t need me like Katsu needed me, I needed him. And that’s why I didn’t see him at first haha. I don’t think about myself or what I need or what a person can do for me when it comes to relationships. I’m always the “what can I do to help you be better.” So in my growth in trying to think about my own needs Kiri was revealed to me and I went “Oh that makes so much fucking sense.”
Eiji knew his feelings as soon as he started having them. For him it was falling for both Katsu and I at the same time. Eiji had always been close with Katsu they were best friends and for a long time he was like “Yes this makes sense for us to be best friends and I’m ok with that.” But then I came along and then suddenly he was like “Oh… the final piece is here and everything is complete now…Oh I love them. That's what this is.”
Katsu was absolutely the hardest and took the longest to come to terms with what he was feeling. He was like “Oh shit she’s kinda hot. Oh shit I can’t stop thinking about her. But oh shit… does this mean that I can’t think about Eijirou like that now too?” Poor baby didn’t know what was happening in his brain. He talked to Kiri about asking me out because he was trying to get advice. Saw how hurt Kiri looked when he mentioned it and was like “Oh shit now what do I do?”
How’d we start dating? 🙄I initiated It. I went to them and said “Hey I wanna let yall know something how I’ve been feeling. I just need to get it off my chest and I feel like it’s not fair for me to keep yall in the dark.” and then I just let them have it. Kchbskfhd. Neither of them let me finish my speech I had planned after hearing the love confession. They stopped me before I could get to the “I hope this new info doesn’t ruin our friendship”. Kiri asked us to be his partners. Both Katsu and I said yes. And then we all went out for drinks to celebrate skhbcsdb
Ask me something you’ve always wanted to know

Hi! This is the Gala anon, I was wondering if you could do a follow up where bakugou gets a little too tipsy and has to spend the night at Y/N's place? He ends up gushing about how he loves them and cuddling (maybe make out?) ensues. (You did an awesome job with the first one and I saw that someone wanted a part 2!) Thank you!
Tumblr media
☁️ Synopsis: After a long night of drinking, will Bakugou finally confess his feelings to his crush? Part 2 to this ☁️ Character: Katsuki Bakugou  ☁️ Type: Scenario. Sfw 17+ ☁️ Warning: Light cursing. Steamy but nothing too wild. Alcohol. ☁️ Note:  This was wayyy to fun to write about! It was supposed to be a small scenario but it turned into a full blown fic!! Hope you like it!
Tumblr media
Bakugou gulped hard while you straightened his tie. He was trying his best to look as composed as ever, but having you so close to him always had this effect on him.
Things weren't always like this. Back when you both still attended UA, Bakugou saw you as another classmate, but by the time you were graduating he had actually started to respect you as a hero. He knew you were strong and capable, and that was the only reason he accepted to work alongside you all this time. Not to mention of course, that he also found you incredibly attractive, something he hadn't noticed when you went to high school together — He was far too focused on becoming a pro hero to care about it.
Now that both of you were pro heroes, he actually paid attention to your features. The way your eyes were looking up made his knees weak, and he couldn't help but stare at your lips which, in his defense, looked really kissable.
"Shall we get going?" Your voice was enough to snap him from his trance-like state. Damn, he was going to need a drink if he wanted to get through the night. "Yeah, these paparazzi are starting to really piss me off." He groaned, pulling you close by the waist and guiding you to the main hall.
And while you looked super confident, only God knows how fast your mind was racing at the moment. Bakugou's hand on your waist was driving you insane. "Why is he doing it?" "Does it mean anything?" "Is this just an easier way to pose for pictures without much effort?". These were only some of the millions of questions going through your mind at the moment.
Bakugou led you to the main hall, where all of your old classmates and co-workers were gathered, waiting for the ceremony to start.
"Kacchan, Y/n, is that you?" A familiar voice made you snap your head back, and a familiar face with the biggest and kindest eyes you know made a smile crawl to your lips almost instantly. "It's been a while."
"Izu!" You smiled, now stopping on your tracks, which caused Bakugou to stop as well. "It's been so long! How have you been?"
You and Izuku were really close during high school days. He was basically your best friend during the three years you spent at UA, besides the girls of course. He listened to you ramble on and on about how strong Bakugou was, and he always told you that you just might have a crush on his childhood friend, which you always denied. You couldn't deny it anymore, but it was pleasant to reminisce about the old days.
"I'm sorry, I kind of disappeared didn't I?" He scratches the back oh his head, laughing sheepishly. "I went on a secret mission, and I couldn't tell anybody about it until recently."
"I heard about the operation on the news! I don't even know how I haven't noticed since Bakugou went missing in action for some time as well..." You say, remembering about the recent raid made to a League of Villains hideout. Bakugou was one of the heroes chosen to go, much like Izuku. He didn't tell you a thing about it until you found out yourself.
Speaking of Bakugou — you didn't know, but he was actually silently fuming at the moment. The sudden way your eyes lit up when you saw Izuku made his eyebrow twitch, and he doesn't remember the last time you smiled this brightly when looking at him.
Bakugou snatched a drink from a waiter passing back, chugging it down in a swift movement, trying to drown out the conversation you were having with his childhood friend. He wasn't used to drinking alcohol, even when both of you would go out for drinks, he's stick to water or some juice.
But he wasn't doing that tonight.
By the time you had stopped talking to Izuku, Bakugou had already downed 3 drinks, even though you spent 10 minutes tops chatting with the green-haired hero.
"Woah there, someone's rowdy today." You giggled, grabbing a glass of champagne and taking a sip from it. "Nervous about the awards?"
"As if!" He said, downing another glass in one big gulp and moving to grab another, but you were able to grab his arm before he could. "What are you-"
"I know you can take care of yourself, but you're not used to drinking alcohol, Bakugou." You said, pulling his arm closer to your chest. Bakugou blushed at your actions but looked away before you could notice.  "Take it easy, okay?" You smiled the smile he — oh so adored and he couldn't bring himself to say no to you.
"Whatever." He grumbles, before snatching his arm from your grasp and pulling him closer to him by your waist.
The sudden motion made you slightly lean against his chest, and before you could even process what was happening, Bakugou's face was inches away from your own. His red eyes staring intensely into your own.
"You and Deku seemed pre-" Before he could even finish his sentence, Bakugou was cut off by the announcer's voice.
"Welcome to the annual Hero Gala! I am Present Mic and I'll be your host tonight!"
"Oh! It's starting..." You whisper, trying to focus on anything else but the smell of Bakugou's cologne mixed with alcohol filling your nostrils. Damn, he smelled good. "We should go!"
You grabbed the blond's hand, leading him to the main stage area, and trying your best to brush away the thoughts filling your head.
The rest of the gala went by as smoothly as possible. Izuku, Bakugou, and Todoroki won the main awards of the night and each gave speeches in their own peculiar way. Izuku, shedding some tears, Todoroki thanking everyone BUT his father and Bakugou sprouting some nonsense about beating them all next year.
You and a few others actually won awards as well, each on their own category. You couldn't be happier to be making your family and everyone else proud by taking home an award. Even Bakugou congratulated you on your win, which was rare for him.
After the award show was done, the celebration continued at the after-party. And before you knew, Kaminari and Sero were distributing tequila shots and you had lost sight Bakugou.
"Hey Mina, have you seen Bakugou around?" You asked the pink girl who looked like she had a little too much to drink as well.
"Katsuki? He's over there with the rest of the squad, I think Kaminari wanted him to try some shots."
Ah fuck.
You thanked Mina before speedwalking towards the place she pointed and finding the rest of the Bakusquad trying to hold the explosive man back.
"What's going on?" You snickered at their exasperated expressions. "Why did you think giving shots to Bakugou would be a good idea? You know he never drank this much before." You said.
Bakugou's head snapped towards you, and he finally was able to get away from Sero and Kirishima's grasp, using the opportunity to swing his arms around your body and placing his forehead on your shoulder. Your eyes widened at his actions, but you were too shocked to move, and only looked over at the other guys, who chuckled.
"I'm sorry about that Y/n." Kirishima sighed before pulling his phone out of his pocket. "I'll call for a taxi, is it okay if Bakubro sleeps over at your place? I'd take him home, but I need to take care of the rest of the squad-"
"It's okay Kiri!" You reassured. "Bakugou helped me out a bunch of times when I was the drunk one."
"Thanks, Y/n, you're the best!" He smiles. "The taxi's outside already, please take good care of him."
You nodded at Kirishima before leading Bakugou outside. He was still clinging to you, which got you a few confused stares from strangers and thumbs up from your girlfriends. Even Izuku blushed before mouthing a "use protection" to you, to which you responded by violently shaking your head in hopes he realized he got it all wrong.
The car ride was silent, as Bakugou seemed to be in a bad mood, probably because he had to go home early.
You sighed in relief as the taxi pulled over next to your complex and you helped Bakugou out of the taxi and into your condo, which was at the top of the building.
"You can have the bed, I'll sleep on the couch tonight." You whispered, helping him sit on your bed. "I'll get some fresh air and then I'll come to check on you, okay? Call me if you need anything." You got out of your room and walked to the balcony, staring at the city below.
You weren't able to confess your feelings to Bakugou tonight. Not that you didn't have the chance, you just chickened out every time he got dangerously close you. Well, it wasn't your fault he was so attractive that every time he looked at you with his red eyes you could feel your heartbeat race and your knees turn into jelly.
Being his friend was easy, and even though you wanted more, the chance of ruining the friendship you had built after so much effort was too great to ignore.
"What are you doing here all alone." Bakugou's rough voice made you jump a little. You hadn't noticed his presence since you were so deep in thought.
He got closer to you, and you could smell his cologne again. "Thinking about Deku again?" He muttered.
"Uh?" You were genuinely confused. Did Bakugou misunderstand your relationship with Izuku?
"I noticed the way your face lit up when you saw him, you ain't slick." He continued, bringing his face so close to yours, your noses were almost touching. "You like him, don't you?"
"Uh, no, that's weird." You managed to say. "Izu's my best friend, he's like a brother to me."
Bakugou tilted his head to the side in confusion. "And why did you smile at him like that back at the gala?"
"I  haven't talked to him in forever!" You said more confidently this time. "I just missed Izu."
"And why do you call him Izu, yet you keep using my last name?" Bakugou blurted out, causing you to widen your eyes at his sudden outburst. "We're close, aren't we? Yet you keep calling me Bakugou!"
"Wait, wha-"
"Fuck, I wish I didn't find you so damn attractive to the point I couldn't focus the whole night. I hate the fact your lips look as if they're begging for me to kiss them. I hate the way you call Deku by his own nickname..." He rambled.
"Bakugou..."
"There you go again." He brought one of his hands to your cheek. "I fucking hate that I like you and you haven't noticed it yet! I'm right here, dammit." Bakugou said, bringing his face closer to yours. He hesitated for a second, but you got on your tiptoes, finally connecting your lips. Using his free hand, the strong man pulled you closer by your waist, giving it a little squeeze, and you wrapped your arms around his neck.
The kiss started off slow, but it rapidly got hungrier, as Bakugou sucked on your lower lip and squeezed your waist once again, making you gasp. He used this opportunity to slip his tongue into your mouth, causing you to moan into the kiss.
His large hands went down your waist and using his strength, Bakugou held you up by the back of your tights, and you wrapped your legs around his waist, never breaking the kiss.
Bakugou carried you back to your room and sat down on your bed, you know straddling his lap.
Your arms leave Bakugou's neck and cup his face finally breaking the kiss, and you stared lovingly into his eyes which shined brighter than you've ever seen before.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting to do this." You whisper, resting your forehead on his.
"You should've told me sooner, I've also been waiting to do this for some time now." He answers, his hands still on your thighs, caressing them tenderly.
"Well, you're kinda hard to read Katsu." You giggled. "How would I know you were interested in me if all you did was frown?"
"Call me that again." He whispered, completely ignoring the rest of your sentence.
"Uh, Katsu?"
"Again."
"Katsu."
"Hell yeah, I'm Katsu." He grabbed you by the neck, pulling into a kiss once again.
He was definitely still tipsy and he knew that. There's no way the Bakugou Katsuki would let someone call him Katsu without him complaining, even though it was you, and he loved to sound of it.
But he'd leave that to "next morning Bakugou". Now he was more focused on how to find your zipper using one hand only.

An AU where everything in Naruto is the same but Kisame survives
Ugghhh what could have been. He should have surviiiiiiiiiived. The whole Akatsuki should’ve survived but that’s another discussion. I have a lot of feelings about this and they’re all jumbled up. Is this cohesive? Not really. 😅
- Kisame lived damn near his whole life without anybody having his back. For a while he had Itachi, who he genuinely trusted and cared for (although to what extent and how mutual that was is purely up to you). Most importantly, he respected Itachi. And then Itachi died.
-Every time I think of someone else who could’ve gotten through to him, I come up with a reason why it wouldn’t have worked, and I make myself sad again so I’m not including that here because this post would be three times as long with all that rambling.
-But say he did live. Would he go back to Kiri? Honestly, maybe? He still has Samehada, and you know they’d want that back. Yeah, he deserted, but that was after what could arguably be considered one of the most traumatic times of his life. And since Tobito is no longer in power there, things have gotten better.
-Konoha? Itachi’s home (although this option would fully depend on how bitter he was at them). They’d probably welcome him. Cause, y’know. Konoha. And they took Orochimaru back; honestly if they can forgive him for all his BS they don’t have the right to turn away anybody.
-I could see him wandering around just doing his own thing though, maybe meet up with Sasuke’s nonsense occasionally, coming back with him to Konoha to dote on Sarada like a vicious-but-still-incredibly-polite-uncle. Beat the shit out of Gai for forgetting him again. (And that’s a can of worms in its own right. Have you seen that meta post about Gai’s health? I’m pretty sure it was on here; I’d link it but I can’t remember who wrote it.)
-He could’ve gotten an apprentice in Kiri and started training them up in kenjutsu while traveling around. Or if he stayed in Kiri, he could be a mentor for the current/next gen of the Seven Swordsmen, maybe drag Suigetsu’s sorry ass back with him to help. 😂
-Or maybe he’d settle down, start a family somewhere. No matter how many times Kishimoto changed the way he drew Kisame, said shark man was always handsome, if not downright beautiful. Like honestly. Can you imagine babies with blue-grey skin and white eyes playing on a beach next to a little house off the coast of some island? 🥺
- And really this is just all basic stuff that are nice to think about, there’s no telling where one could actually take it if they thought about it in terms of an actual story/timeline change.
I just word-vomited all over this post. Probably should’ve actually written something more cohesive but I saw the notification four days late (good job me) and it caught me off guard. If you want more word-vomit about the rest of the Akatsuki or more details about any of these, send me a thing? I’m already a mess let’s keep it going! 😅😂

22 for Kirishima please for the dialogue prompts? Thanks!
this boy is best boy. the best. fucking. boy.  this also came out slight angst? ? ? ? ? ?
D prompt 22: “Just know that I love you. I love you with all of my fucked up, piece of shit heart.”
~~~~~
Kirishima was always the sunshine in the room. It was hard to take your eyes off of him from the moment you met him, and when he confessed that he shared the same feelings for you, you were in disbelief. Beyond happy, but still, everyday you couldn’t believe how lucky you were to end up with such a man.
He was kindhearted, gentle, encouraging, optimistic, confident but not cocky, but your favourite part was his ability to lift any sadness or weight off of yours or your classmate’s shoulders. Kiri was like the big brother that everyone needed in their time of self doubt. He’d point out all their strengths, and tell them how great they were at working on their flaws.
You adored the man he was, always doing what’s right and thinking about others. He always brought a smile to your face.
But today… the thought of Kirishima brought a frown to your features. You could see it. The little signs that no one else in the class really could. Maybe Bakugo could, but he didn’t really know how to be gentle about it. You did, which was why when your worried eyes went from Kirishima and met with Bakugo’s, you knew he noticed what you did too. He gave a curt nod, as if answering your mind’s questions about if you were actually right.
Kirishima was in his own mind too much again. It didn’t happen often, but when it did, it seemed to take over his day. Self-doubt for every action he made, self criticism for every action he was thinking of making, self hate for his actions of the past.. self blame for things he couldn’t control. His crimson eyes weren’t focused on the lecture ahead, they stared blankly into the sheet infront of him, glossed over in a deadly storm of nonsense his own brain was telling him.
It wasn’t until you returned to the dorm after classes that you knew he was really in a slump. Bakugo had approached Kirishima right after the dismissal bell rang. You gave them space, knowing that you and Bakugo had the most influence on Kirishima but it was sometimes stronger when done separately. But now, as you looked over the tv area of the dorm and then to the kitchen, finding Bakugo sitting with Sero and Mina… but no Kirishima, you knew it was your turn. You immediately crossed the room to the boys dorms, unknowing that Bakugo’s eyes had followed you the entire time.
You knocked lightly on your boyfriend’s door, waiting patiently for a response.
Nothing.
You knocked again, a little louder.
“…Kiri? It’s me, hun.” Your voice as gentle as possible as you lightly gripped the handle.
The door opened itself, just a creak. You slid your hand through, the bottom of your palm coming in contact with soft fabric, likely of a sweater. The top of your hand was soon covered with his, gently pulling you closer. Your foot moved the door open enough to slip through.
It was dark, no light turned on in the room. You twitched your nose but almost no scent either. No music, no tv, no white noise. Just Kirishima and silence. You felt water raise to your eyes but you blinked them away as soon as you came. To know he felt so alone and in the dark in his own head to find this state of his room suitable tugged at your heart. He was sunshine, he was the light of your life and brought warmth to many others. Yet his demons of self doubt in his head had him convinced of something completely opposite.
He led you to his bed, sitting on the edge. Kirishima removed his hand from yours, using it instead to hold his face with his other, shielding it from you. You sat adjacent, letting one of your legs rest behind him, the other hang off the bed with his. Your body faced his. Yours steadily breathing as you rose a hand to his shaking back, his curling tighter into himself, silent tears pouring into his hands.
He couldn’t believe how unmanly he was. These days were rare, he never expected them to come up. They never gave any hint of coming, he would just wake up with a cloudy head. Each time he tried to pick apart a thought to prove it wrong, 3 more would barge in, screaming at him. The worst part for him, was having you worry. Even Bakugo worry. He didn’t want to put any of this shitty feeling or guilt onto you. He didn’t want to be a burden. Those stupid thoughts in his head were relentless, know giving him reason after reason of why the person sitting beside him would soon hate him too.
“Eiji..”
And there it was. Your voice. One that could drown out all those false thoughts in your head. A voice of an angel, his angel, that would stick by him through these tough days. One he didn’t want to push away or lose, or drag into this internal fight.
“Eiji look at me.” You entered his mind again, soft hand worming it’s way between his face and palm. You pulled gently, giving him the option to resist your invitation to open up to you, but he didn’t. His hand allowed itself to be guided by yours, stopping when yours did on his thigh. Your hand squeezed his.
You were patient, and he loved you for that. You didn’t pry, or demand to know what’s going on. You didn’t want to pick apart each thought, no, you just wanted to help him with this battle and be with him when you emerge victorious to see that beautiful smile on his face again.
“I…” He croaked, wiping his face with his free sleeve. “It’s just.. I’m..” He squeezed his eyes shut, brows furrowed, trying to find the right words to say in the midst of the jumble in his brain. “It’s one of those days again… W-where I don’t see myself a hero, or a good guy, or an even fine guy. I’m just a piece of shit. These thoughts telling me all day that I don’t deserve my friends, or my opportunity at UA… or you.” He quietly added, giving your hand a squeeze.
“How can I be so weak?! I let these thoughts consume me all day to the point I don’t feel like myself. I’m no good guy. I’m just a weak fake piece of-”
“Kirishima Eijirou.” You whispered in disbelief. His rambling took you by surprise. “Eiji.. You know none of those thoughts are true. You are a good guy. You are the best guy, who will make the best hero. But while you’re chasing that dream, you’re already the best friend to many, the best role model to some younger, the best boyfriend… the best Eijirou you can be. These thoughts..” You trailed off, hand traveling to push through his soft hair. “can’t beat you. You’re gonna power through them just like you do every challenge. There’s nothing that can stand against a heart as kind and a soul as passionate as yours. You’re the manliest man I’ve ever met, Eiji. Your drive and courage is inspiring to others. And,”
Your hand in his unstyled hair moved to his chin, pulling his face to face yours,
 “You’re allowed to have bad days where you don’t feel one hundred percent. They do not make you any less of a man, or any worse of a person. But don’t let these thoughts consume you, at least not alone. You’re not alone.”
His bloodshot eyes met yours.
“You’ll… you’ll ne-”
“I will never leave you, Kirishima Eijirou.” You finished his sentence for him, finally earning the smile that you had missed all day.
“Thank you, _____…” His voice so soft as he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you so close you were forced into his lap as your limbs all wrapped his torso. “I know you’ll tell me there’s nothing to apologize for, but I’m sorry sometimes I can’t shake these thoughts. Thanks for helping me get rid of them. I don’t know what I’d do without you…”
You smiled, combing your hands through his hair as you felt him kiss your sweater clad shoulder.
“No need to thank me. You save me every day, it’s the least I can do.” You leaned back to look at him, a soft smile on his lips as he leaned in to kiss you.
“Just know that I love you. I love you with all of my fucked up, piece of shit heart.” He mumbled, lips brushing against yours as he did so.
“Your heart is the farthest thing from a piece of shit, and is no way fucked up.” You reassured. “We’ll get through this together. You pull me out of slumps and I’ll pull you out, and together we’ll be unstoppable.”
Kirishima breathed out a hint of a chuckle as he fell back into his bed, repositioning himself until you both were a tangle of limbs, arms wrapped around eachother as his face nuzzled into your neck.
His dark room was soon filled with the light of his life beside him. The silence was replaced with soft whispers of reassurance and love. And the thoughts in his head were soon returned back into confidence, thanks to your unconditional love and support.
—-
note: this was really long wow, and also I’m not trying to make these seem like anymore than Kiri having a bad day~ everyone has them. And if you’re having it, just know that it will pass, the thoughts that are tearing you down are nothing but fear and have no evidence. You’re a great human being, and you’re not reading this just by chance; you are perfectly you!!! I love you!!
I know we're always talking about the ppl sleeping on Kirishima, but when are we gonna talk that that's mostly 'cause
HORI IS SLEEPING ON HIS CHARACTER
I ain't saying he should make him the protag or any of that nonsense, I'm just saying he himself said he didn't expect Kiri's popularity and thus gave him the importance he has.
But I genuinely think he doesn't know? entirely? what a wonderful? boi? he made? You can see that by how he uses his quirk at the moment. Yeah, they're still students and Eijirou is not the trainaholic(?) like his best friend, for example, but holy shit, my guy can go through walls. And he doesn't have a strength enhancement or anything like that from his quirk, but he does it still.
anyway, this was meant to be just rambling, but if I keep going this is bound to become a full 10k analysis, so let's not do that :D
//not to be angsty but....I feel like Kexin having a moment of realizing that A-Yao had been somewhat responsible for Mingjue's death before he himself is killed would be so interesting to write. Even if it would definitely hurt me
Chapter 26 - Building Tension
As he looked up from where he was lying down to the stars shining out of the window, the young blue haired boy was thinking that he was actually doing a good job during his... recovery. Mitsuki. That was his name, as told by the angel and many others. He was twelve, but apparently his birthday was closing in. Although no one around him wanted to go into details, he had apparently been through a very rough fight (because he was a... ninja, that was the word) and had missed more than a month of his life because of it. He didn't remember being dangerously impulsive or reckless, but by the looks of it, he was. And apparently... he was best friends with the blondie - Boruto. Strange enough, through everything... this was the one fact that he had the hardest time to wrap his mind around. If he was such an important person in his life, how... why couldn't he remember him?! He sighed. The thing was, whenever he tried to remember something, anything... he had a splitting headache, caused by what seemed to be a myriad of voices speaking in his head. He didn't know any of these voices... or rather, he couldn't decipher enough out of the ramble to recognize who was speaking, but still... he was sure these were no memories. And although he didn't exactly know why... he was actually afraid to hear what the voices had to say. And so he was, in a way... avoiding remembering anything... Which was why the visits of Boruto had become guilt trips. Sometimes, he really wished he would stop visiting... but then, this thought was unbearable too, for reasons he didn't know. Hearing footsteps and low murmuring from the outside, Mitsuki immediately ducked back into the covers, pretending to be asleep if the medics decided to come inside for a check. He didn't feel like he could talk about these problems with anyone - at least not yet. He knew that this was something only he needed to sort out.
... "Ta-daaa!" the black haired girl said cheerily as she brought out some delicious looking pasties from the basket she and her brother had brought. "Mama made these especially for you, Mitsu-nii!" The girl's bubbliness was kind of... overwhelming, especially the way she (Himawari, her name was Himawari) kept calling him 'brother'... Just another pang in the young boy's heart, and yet... for some reason he just couldn't see her presence as unnerving as her brother's. "Hey, dig in, 'ttebasa, this is all yours!" Boruto said with a big grin, leaving Mitsuki amazed at just how much enthusiasm he had. "I... thank you," the boy replied, with a smile that he hoped that at least looked genuine. He took a sweet bun from the basket and took a bite... it was indeed delicious beyond words. He didn't notice how Boruto's face fell, his expression taking on a thoughtful quality. He didn't have a chance to notice it anyway, seeing that Himawari was still chattering away. He came to a halt as the taste of the bun started to feel... too familiar, almost like... home... the feeling almost made his heart ache... "Yo, Mitsuki," Boruto's voice was now as thoughtful as his expression, not the cheerful one as before. "You okay?" Maybe that wasn't the best question to ask, since he was still recovering from his injuries as well as a memory loss, but Mitsuki knew that the blond was just worried about him. And somehow, he was glad for it. "I'm good." he said, not enjoying the fact that he was lying, but not really seeing any other way out of it. ... "He's not good," Boruto sighed as they walked down the Konoha streets with Sarada. "He talks with us, smiles and all... but it's just so clear that he's putting up an act. That..." he stopped himself there, because he was about to say 'that my best friend's still not back', but... that hurt to admit. Sarada remained silent. Looking over at her, the blond could see a thoughtful, almost sad expression on the Uchiha's face. Why though...? "Nee, Sarada," he said at last, his voice, too, becoming a little worried. "What are you thinking?" Sarada came to a halt before turning to face him, although not quite meeting his eyes. Boruto couldn't tell why this was bothering him so much... "I..." she finally began, but she clearly wasn't too keen to continue. "I was just... thinking lately..." "And?" "You're not gonna like it Boruto..." The blond let out a humorless laugh. "A lot of things I don't like happen Sarada. Just go on with it." She closed her eyes with a sigh. It was only when she reopened them that she met his gaze. "Mitsuki's condition... I just... can't help but think that we unintentionally contributed to it all this time..." Those words indeed made Boruto came to a halt as his expression slowly turned blank. "W-wait, what... do you mean...?" "Just... think about it..." Now her voice was sad too, desperate... "He had always been... well, secretive, but did we ever really try to... understand him?" "That's not true," the blond said immediately, but his voice didn't really hold unwavering certainty. "He is good at hiding it if something's bothering him, if he is in trouble, believe me I've seen it so many times while we were dealing with the bullies... and we... we took him by stride... Never questioned his motives, reasons..." "This is nonsense, Sarada," he snapped at last, and the girl could hear it crystal clear in his voice... denial, denial that he was trying to hide by acting out... she knew her childhood friend only too well. And that was why she hated pushing on with this. "You remember back in the Chuunin exams? When he lost to Shinki?" "Well... yeah, of course I do." Boruto said, a little uneasy... because when he thought back to that time, the first thing he clearly remembered was the intense look Mitsuki gave him... which was... disconcerting, he had thought... But... had he thought much deeper into it? Things began clicking together in his mind. That was also when Sarada decided to complete her theory. "Did we even wonder why he decided to give up?" "I..." the words came numb to his lips. "I just... didn't think it was too unusual of him... That I could never truly understand him if I tried anyway..." But that was the thing... he didn't try. Not really. Ever since Mitsuki came to Konoha, they had an... awkward relationship. Mitsuki seemed to follow him everywhere, look up to him a lot... much more than his other classmates, now that he came to think of it. He seemed to tie his reasoning of staying in Konoha solely to him, even calling him his... sun... although the blond would be damned if he knew what that meant. And he never questioned its meaning either... They only got closer, becoming what they considered to be best friends in the passing year... but now Boruto had doubts about just how much of a best friend he was, not knowing Mitsuki thoroughly, and only going back to it after he almost lost him... "That was exactly what I thought, too," Sarada's voice brought him to this world, his own regret reflecting in her obsidian eyes. "And I... just can't help but thinking... what if it hurt him more than we could ever imagine? That we..." "...didn't even get to know him better..." the blond's voice was almost hollow. Sarada didn't know what more to say to that. They stood in complete, shocked silence for they didn't know how long. "...what... had we been doing all this time...?" Boruto's hand was slowly balled in a fist, his teeth clenched. It hurt the Uchiha to see him like that. These episodes of dark emotions became too often in the Uzumaki, uncomfortably so. It was scaring her... She was afraid that those emotions could lead him to a place where there was no return... "I-I'm sorry," she said, stuttering. "I told you... you wouldn't like this..." Boruto closed his eyes for a minute, his posture still stiff, fists still clenched... He gulped a few times, visibly trying to calm himself down. It started to work slowly... "It's alright, Sarada," he said slowly, sighing as he opened his eyes. "If nothing... you helped me open my eyes." "What do you mean?" Sarada whispered. "I've been doing this wrong all this time." His voice had taken on a firm quality... determined. "No more secrets from now on... When he regains his memories... I'm gonna make sure there will be no more boundaries between us." Relieved, a genuine smile formed on Sarada's lips as she put a hand on his arm, which made Boruto make a double take and glance at her. "Well, we can both agree on that." It took him a minute, but finally, Boruto gave her a smile, too. ... Part of Karin still didn't believe she was doing this. But for some reason... she also didn't feel any threat coming from the situation. No, she... somehow found it easier to trust the person her colleagues and Orochimaru-sama chose not to. Well, she had decided to rule that off as pigheadedness as it was... She put a hand over her belly as she waited. She had come a little earlier than the arranged time. As much as she liked to defy the rules of the 'house'... she still tried to keep as low a profile as possible, to not raise any suspicions... so she had lied and told everyone that she was going to do shopping for her daughter. "Oh I'm sorry - did I make you wait too long?" Startling out of her thoughts, the Uzumaki turned to the source of the voice. There she was, the redhead Kiri kunoichi. She pulled up a chair across from her and sat down. "Thanks for responding... I didn't know who else to reach, since... y'know..." "And how did you know I would come?" Karin asked, mostly out of curiosity. Her question made the woman hesitate for a moment. "Call it a hunch... but I thought only a woman, a mother nonetheless... would understand that I had no ill intentions. I just want to help." And strange enough, Karin could really understand her. That was part of the reason she came... "He has woken up." she said suddenly, and she didn't know why she wanted to reassure this woman. Izumi was clearly taken aback, but slowly, a genuine smile spread across her features. She hadn't been able to catch up on everything since she came to Konoha. "I... that's..." For a moment she was unable to speak. "That's great news... I'm so glad..." Karin wanted to ask her... why was she so keen on helping Mitsuki, especially with the way that she was reminded that she wasn't a welcome help time and time again... But one part of her actually could relate. Her motherly side. Izumi reached into her pocket and pulled out a small vial. "Here is what I talked to you about on the phone. You can put it up to any test you would like, but I'm positive it will work. It worked before, on someone I know..." she thought back to the one time they very nearly lost one of her teammates, Masaki, in a mission where he had been confronted by a lightning user... a shiver went down her spine. The Uzumaki took the vial from her, raising it to her eye level. It didn't seem much... but then, as a scientist, she knew very well that most of the powerful medicine (or, well... poisons) look pretty ordinary. "I'm doing this against the wishes of Orochimaru-sama..." she began. "You are doing this because you know it's right." the other woman said, a sort of determination in her voice. "But... I wouldn't want to inconvenience you any further in any case. So, if you'll excuse me..." She got up on her feet, ready to leave. "Will you be staying in Konoha any longer?" Karin suddenly found herself asking, and she could see that she once again caught Izumi by surprise. "Maybe a couple more days... why?" She smiled. "Because I think I would like to let you know about the results." ... "Do you feel comfortable, Mitsuki?" The young boy didn't know how to respond for a moment. Looking down on the pads and cables on his chest, wrists and ankles that connected to some... weird looking machine, his emotions were churning. Then he glanced to the glass panel overseeing the room, and saw the familiar blue haired man, watching intently with his arms crossed... that sent an immense relief coursing through him. "Yes. I'm good." "This is not gonna hurt you," the angel continued explaining lightly. He had also heard her name many times through a lot of people, but for some reason... he preferred to refer to her as angel. "It's just gonna record your heart's activity, and it won't take more than ten minutes." Mitsuki gulped inconspicuously before nodding. "Okay." The pink haired woman gave him an encouraging smile and then started the machine. The boy felt himself relaxing even more when he realized that there was indeed nothing to be afraid of about the procedure. It was over even before he had the time to get bored. As she took the paper coming out of the machine, a thoughtful expression settled on the medic's face. Mitsuki straightened himself on his elbows, looking at her curiously. "Is it bad?" "Hmm?" She didn't exactly look at the boy as she regarded the results. "Well, to tell you the truth... it's a little early to determine that. We will need to run a few more tests." The boy almost groaned at that. He didn't know what possible implications these test results would have, especially if they turned out to be... bad... but he didn't particularly enjoy going through all of them. Seeing his expression, the woman's smile returned. "Don't worry, it's not gonna be something big. I'll just attach a small version of this machine on your chest and it'll monitor your heart's movements for two days. We will talk after that." It felt like a balloon deflated inside of him. The angel patted his hand. "You don't have to worry too much about it, okay? I just don't want you to do anything rash for these days, no sudden movements, nothing that would tire you out." The boy nodded meekly. "Alright, I will be careful." ... Log was a little disoriented as he entered his brother's house. The medic had been vague about her estimates on how Mitsuki's... heart condition was, yet alone whether his memories were returning back or not... And the more he needed to keep the "father" facade up, the more he was worried about the long-term effects on Mitsuki. What if he... was to lose his trust, after his brother found out that he wasn't telling the truth about his parentage? His thoughts came to a standstill when he saw the tall figure of his creator... or the one who Mitsuki had no trouble in assuming the parent role, which he himself just couldn't... emerged from the door. He knew why he had chosen to come out right at this moment, when he had just walked in. Although Orochimaru hadn't gone to the hospital himself yet, he was keeping close tabs on the Taka and him, prying on any bit of information from their conversations, occasionally asking questions if he feels like it. Which... was annoying Log to no end. Mitsuki needed the man who he deemed his father throughout all these years, needed his support, especially now that his health might be a big risk on his ninja life... And this man was doing nothing all day, cooping himself up in this house, only scraping information he doesn't even deserve... Feeling like he might hit something - or rather, someone - if he kept facing Orochimaru, Log turned his back on him, clenching and un-clenching his fists. "So... how is your procrastinating going?" It was almost like he had just dropped a bomb into the room; the silence and tension that had been building between the two of them coming to its peak. Log couldn't care less about that at the moment. He'd had just about enough of Orochimaru's crap. He didn't need to turn around to see that he was frowning. "Watch your tone." "Well, then watch your attitude!" The young man turned to him now, so furious that he felt like he was going to explode. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! How long has it been since Mitsuki woke up?! Why is it so hard to get the hell out of this house right now and go visit him?!" He managed to barely stop, heaving heavy breaths. There was so much he wanted to say, so much left unsolved between the two of them... But what was important now was not himself, but his little brother. "He needs you," he continued, his voice low and tight. "You can at least do what you couldn't previously... make a difference with him, actually become a parent... Yet you sit here all day, hearing the news only from us..." "Unlike you, I do something much more essential," the sannin pretty much hissed through his teeth. The words that were delivered... and his tone, so... belittling... this stirred Log's blood even more. "Oh yeah. I forgot. Your big project. The ultimate medicine that will somehow save the boy you don't even care to visit." "You are not the one to question my reasons." "Maybe I'm not." It was becoming harder and harder to keep his cool. "But good luck explaining them to Mitsuki. Because he won't understand. He doesn't need to understand! He's just a child! Do you even have any idea what you're doing to him?!" "He's strong." "He is not a machine! He has emotions... and you're breaking him!" Not being able to contain himself anymore, the young man punched the wall. "Or do you even care?!" Orochimaru didn't say anything to that... and honestly, Log knew that by now, he shouldn't find it surprising. Yes, Mitsuki was a child driven by his emotions, and although he wouldn't classify himself as sentimental, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do when his little brother was concerned. This man, however... it was as if he was talking to a wall. With the exception that even a wall could be considered more emotional when compared to Orochimaru. "You aren't even gonna say anything?" he asked between gritted teeth. "You will excuse me if I don't think your question merits for an answer." He didn't know why that cold answer hit him like a slap in the face... it certainly wasn't the first time his creator dismissed him in such a manner, only pretending to hear him if his opinion was of any importance. He had learned better than to take offense, believing that he is the better out of the two of them. But there were times like this... Maybe it was because in figuring out that Mitsuki was in need of his father instead of a replacement, it brought into stark attention that he lacked a father figure in his life... for so long... He kept his emotions as far away from his voice as he could when he spoke next. "But when I come to think of it... why am I even surprised, right? After all, you didn't even want to keep him at first when he was born." All he got in a response was the closing of the door as the sannin got back into his son's room. Log closed his eyes for a moment as the unwanted memory of his brother's first day came into his mind... [Flashback] Wuaaaah wuaaaah... The long and constant cry of the baby was starting to kill the young boy's ears, it sounded like an annoying siren that slowly wanted to end with his ears. The child in his arms hadn't stopped crying since he had been taken out of the tube that Orochimaru had broken in his anger towards the project... Was the child scared? Hungry? Sleepy? The blue haired boy had no idea and he was sure that he wasn't the best person to comfort a crying newborn... where was Karin when she was needed? She certainly could fit the role better... The child sniffled a little and then he was at it again, the boy really didn't know how a baby this small could produce such a wail. Was he even that noisy when...? He crumpled his face as he remembered that person... and a pain plunged in his chest. He was starting to grow desperate... The baby's distress was making him restless, almost desperate to do something to calm him... Awkwardly, he swayed him side to side. "Sssh... it's gonna be okay..." He added as an afterthought. "I'm here..." And slowly the child started calming down, the cry moved on to a simple whimper, a little pout in his mouth and big tears at the corners of his eyes as he slowly opened them. It almost made his heart skip a beat... yes, he was aware that this child was technically a clone of himself, just smaller, but... seeing those eyes, as amber colored as his own, it made him feel... strange? Like the child was looking into his soul. "U-Um..." he didn't know what to say. "Hi?" He almost slapped himself mentally, why was he saying that, the child wouldn't understand him! But at least his ears were feeling much better now. He didn't know why he did that but the oldest boy moved his hand and his index finger touched the child's nose... and it made the baby let out an unintelligible noise before he moved his tiny, tiny hands out of the blanket and grabbed his finger. Another skip in the boy's heart-beat... What was that feeling...? Why did it feel... nice, the way that little hand was holding on to his finger...? Like the baby did understand him and was trying to say hi himself? Or that he was somehow... seeking support from him? Why did he suddenly feel like he was glad he was given this solitary moment to meet the baby? "Umm... okay..." he gulped nervously, and then smiled at the thought that came to his mind. "I guess this makes me... an older brother now, huh? Heh..." Those words felt both a little odd but too right at the same time. The child blinked and maybe it was a trick from his mind but... it seemed like the corners of the mouth of the little one curled into a smile? He didn't have time to process that... as Orochimaru finally returned inside the laboratory. The child immediately stood up from the chair he was sitting on and started following his creator with his eyes. It didn't go unnoticed to the boy what the black haired sannin had in his hands. A basket? As Orochimaru put it on the top of the table, his curiosity couldn't be kept out. "What is that for?" he wasn't usually one to question his parent's actions but... something felt off... "For the child." he said without looking at him. "You're going to leave him at Konohagakure, Mitsuki." And that made the boy freeze... turning the words in his head, trying to understand the meaning, although he had a nagging feeling of what they probably meant... "I what?" "He is not going to stay here." the sannin said curtly, as if putting an end to the conversation. "I need you to deliver him to the orphanage in Konoha, making sure you're not seen. The director is an old disciple of mine." He had delivered this speech with such an emotionless voice that... Knowing him or not, the boy felt his blood boiling beneath his skin. So when the man reached forward to take the baby... the boy's arms tightened a little more around his "brother", and he took a step back before half turning backward, shielding the baby from sight. "No." This simple protest was enough for Orochimaru to furrow his brows. "This is not up for discussion, Mitsuki." "That is not fair!" he raised his voice, brows furrowed as well. "What did he do? You created him and now you want to get rid of him!? Is that how your little game goes?!" "You know nothing." Orochimaru took a step forward and Log took another step backwards, the determination clear in his eyes. Mitsuki had never really cared about what Orochimaru did or his experiments in general but this one... he didn't know why but it was just calling for help, even if the baby in his arms had said nothing... "I know enough to know that you're not even allowed to do this!" he said pointing to himself and to the baby. "We aren't even supposed to exist and yet we do. I wonder what that ninja that watches the hideout twenty-four hours a day would say if he found out." The sannin's eyes narrowed at that, and the boy almost gulped at the look in his eyes... almost. But the presence of the baby... gave him the courage he needed, and his chin pushed up a little in defiance. "What is this?" his creator asked in a hiss, his tone dangerous... "Are you trying to threaten me?" A fine coat of sarcasm had seeped in the tone, as if daring him... guessing from experiences that he won't. But the boy's voice was clearer when he next spoke. "Make me go out... make me take him out and I will do much more than going to Konoha." He was sure he had crossed the line... only, he didn't care. "You insolent child...!" the sannin roared, Mitsuki was sure he had never seen such an angry look in his creator's eyes, it was a roar that even shook the baby in his arms and it made him cry once again. "Do you have any idea of what you're saying?! Of what kind of power that child holds?!" "I may not know but I do know that you created him and you should take full responsibility of what you did! Instead you want to drop him in your former village?! You want to drop such a "bomb" of power when only you know how to control it?!" The baby continued to cry, his arms moving out of the blanket, his hands closed in fists and his head moving from side to side. It was clear that he didn't like this discussion... almost as if he could understand it... Instinctively, the older brother once again tried to soothe the baby, it was becoming natural for him... then he raised his head to glare at the sannin, meeting daggers himself. "You are scaring him. I hope you will learn to take better care of him, because he's staying." "You are not the one making the rules here!" "Am I not?" The boy asked, raising an eyebrow. "Feel free to try me." With each word he was uttering... he felt a warm spot growing inside of him... a need to be beside this baby whenever and however he needs him... He was already born into unpredictable circumstances... he would surely need his help in the times to come. The sannin clenched his teeth in anger but didn't say anything. "So here is the deal..." his eyes shone with confidence. "You'll raise him properly, not as a weapon... you'll take good care of him and my mouth will be kept shut... no one will know that you kept making experiments. But try to get rid of this baby..." his voice faded as he looked back at the baby, a wondrous expression filling his eyes. "Mitsuki... that will be his name from now on." "Oh? And what are you supposed to be called then?" "I will decide on that." the boy said curtly, not taking his eyes off from his brother. "... but try to get rid of him or me..." he looked back at his creator. "And I promise that every nation will know about what you've been doing. And I can assure you that they won't spare you a second chance. I don't care how much power you put in him, you did it and so you will take care of it. He will not be a bomb slowly ticking to explode..." And with that the boy started walking towards the door that led outside the laboratory. "I will be in my room." The door opened, only to reveal the three members of the Taka acting like they hadn't been listening to the conversation. [End of Flashback] Log came to his senses as he heard the apartment door opening. Suigetsu rushed there when he saw his girlfriend walking in. "Where have you been? I was beginning to worry..." "Hey, don't forget who you're talking to," Karin said as she raised the shopping bags she was carrying. "These aren't gonna miraculously appear on our doorstep, you know." As she walked inside, she once again addressed to her boyfriend, keeping her voice low so they won't be overheard. "We need to speak." ... Mitsuki was trying not to get too bored as he laid on his bed, having just given up on counting the drops in the IV attached to his arm. He had hold up good to the angel's words up until now. Most of his awake hours passed with drifting in and out of sleep, watching some TV when he felt like it, reading a book that someone had kindly brought... but of course after about five hours, it had become tiring. He started to feel like... wish that... he could do something else... that wouldn't include this small room. Sighing, he tried to focus his attention elsewhere. He was healing, nothing much to do about it. The blue haired man, who he called his father, had left not long after the angel finished the exams concerning his heart, not before he had seen him once more in his bedroom but the visit had been brief... Mitsuki wished he had stayed longer to keep him company. He was even starting to miss the presence of the blond boy who was always there with him and his bubbly little sister, even though they had just been there this morning. What else could he do in this room...? Sighing, the child decided to step out of the bed and grabbing the IV to bring it with him, Mitsuki approached the window, opened it and allowed the fresh air to reach him. It was a beautiful day... the sun that shone outside, although it was going steadily down the horizon, sent warmness coursing through him, and before he knew it... a smile slowly spread across his face. It felt... joyful, lively... it almost made him sad that he had missed this feeling for a month and half. He put a hand on the sill, closing his eyes and slightly leaning forward... and he made a promise to himself then and there, that he would never take this blissful sensation for granted... Suddenly a rush of wind shot past, close enough for him to feel it. The boy's eyes snapped open in surprise. What was that...? He had to lean out a bit more to understand what that had been, and taking a better look outside and then up, he saw many figures jumping around the different ceilings of the village. Mitsuki was hit with a sensation he hadn't felt since he woke up, it was like... what they were doing was calling for him... like... like he had done this before too... He couldn't recognize much of these figures but two of them caught his eye, the two people that had been there when he woke up... Boruto... and Sarada... What were they doing? It looked like they were chasing the other people... he saw Boruto jump from a ceiling to another and suddenly he was out of view. He had probably jumped to the hospital's ceiling. Faintly, the girl's voice reached his ears through the clear air. Warning Boruto about something... Mitsuki didn't know why but he felt his pulse racing as he craned his neck to try and follow the blond, although he had no chance whatsoever to see from here... Clashing noises, metal against metal, the battle was on full force... Mitsuki hoped that things were going in Boruto and Sarada's favor... He had no way of knowing how many opponents the blond had taken on, but it sounded too many... Then he heard a scream... Realizing that it was from the girl, his gaze immediately shot upwards... And like in slow motion, his eyes widened in shock when he saw Boruto falling from the roof, he thought he heard him scream too.
My secret santa gift for the @boku-no-secret-santa , for @whisper-gypsy ! I ended up doing a KiriDeku blind date thing, plus tired wingman Shinsou!! I hope you like it, it's my first time writing for Kiri so I hope he isn't too OOC! Happy holidays!!
“Izuku.”
“I don't know why it never works out for me, I mean-”
“Izuku.” Shinsou sighed, still not catching his friends attention.
“Ochako says I'm cute and all and I guess it's true but every time I think I meet someone nice i-”
“Izuku! You're doing it again and I'm trying to study.” Izuku looked over at Shinsou where he was perched precariously on his bed, surrounded by textbooks and notes.
“I-I'm so sorry! I'll try not to do it so much!”
“It's fine, were you thinking about being single again?” Shinsou moved some of his work aside, deciding he could use a break anyway.
“Yeah, Ochako tried to set me up again but this guy was… weird. I wanted to run away after the first few minutes but he was paying…” Shinsou nodded, grabbing his coffee and taking a long draw before setting it back down and stretching.
“Ill set you up with someone, he isn't anything crazy but he’s nice and I think you’ll work pretty well together. Sound good?” Izuku nodded and leaned over the papers to give Shinsou a hug, a habit the lilac-haired boy had gotten used to quickly.
“Thanks, Hitoshi! Sorry for bothering you with all this, I'm sure it gets annoying sometimes…”
“Not at all, I was bored of chemistry work anyway. Ill text you the details later, okay?” Izuku nodded and bounced back to his own bed, a smile on his face as he sorted through his messy notes. Sure, he was nervous about being set up with some random guy, especially after his last disaster of a date, but if he was friends with Shinsou then he couldn't be too bad!
Or so he kept telling himself for the next couple days, checking the details Shinsou had sent him as the day of the date approached. It was a nice restaurant that Izuku had been to a couple times, showing up early in a nice button-down shirt and slacks. The table was already reserved so he went inside, grateful for the heat as he was brought to the corner booth.
“Can I start you with anything while you wait?”
“U-um, a water and maybe a glass of wine?” He asked nervously, fiddling with his sleeve as the waitress left. The restaurant was quiet that night, not too many patrons in the middle of the week, but Izuku liked it better that way. Fewer people to see him make a fool of himself when this mystery guy showed up, as usual. When his drinks were delivered Izuku downed the wine, hoping to ease his nerves a little. Izuku checked Shinsou’s text again, making sure he had said seven and not eight. But he had shown up at the right time so now he waited, sipping his water and glancing around. Every time someone passed by he perked up, hoping it was his date, but it never was. Eventually, the waitress came back, a sympathetic look on her face.
“It… looks like no one else is coming, sweetie. Want to order something while you're here? We have several specials today!!” Izuku shook his head and looked down, biting his lip. He didn't want to cry, not here, not now.
“C-c-can I get some soup, for now, please? Or b-bread?”
“Sure thing honey, I'll be back with that soon.” Izuku nodded and thanked her, staring down at the table and blinking away tears. What was wrong with him? He tried so hard to be nice to everyone, to smile and laugh and be friendly. But every time Izuku thought he had a chance, something happened. Ochako realized she wasn't into guys (and Izuku with the opposite problem), Bakugou hadn't really clicked with him, and Todoroki… just hadn't been the guy for him. And those were just the ones he had spent more than single dinner getting to know. Hell, he was still a virgin! Nearly done with college and still a virgin, how sad was that? The tears kept flowing with no way to stem them, Izuku just closing his eyes and praying that no one would notice him. But Izuku felt a weight settle into the other side of the booth, a hand reaching out to take his.
“Hey, you okay dude? I saw you crying, figured you could use a friend.” Izuku looked up and wiped his eyes with his other hand, taking a better look at the guy across from him. He was far too attractive, in Izuku’s opinion, with spiked up red hair and a comforting smile spread across his face. Izuku glanced down, noticing the stranger's hand still over his own.
“Oh, heh, sorry about that. I guess I'm kind of a physical guy, you know?” Izuku nodded, dabbing at his eyes with a napkin and holding his hands in his lap.
“I must look horrible… I take it you aren't my date?”
“Huh? Oh, no, I don't think so. Actually, I got stood up too, I was on my way out when I saw you. Mind if I stay for a bit? I'm actually kinda starving and ill pay!” Izuku blushed a little, managing a smile.
“Y-you don't have to do that, really! I mean, um, i-i don't mind paying…” The stranger waved a hand and grinned, leaning forward on his elbows. It was only now that Izuku realized he was in a suit and he quickly looked away, not wanting to give himself any ideas that he shouldn't be having.
“No way, I crashed your booth, I'm not letting you pay. Did you order anything yet?” Izuku shook his head, watching as the redhead perused the menu.
“Thank you… I'm Midoriya, by the way. Midoriya I-Izuku.”
“Izuku huh? That's a cute name. I'm Kirishima Eijirou, but most people just call me Kirishima. You can call me whatever though! Hey, do you know what's good here? I've never been before and everything sounds really friggin’ amazing!” Izuku giggled, leaning over and pointing something out.
“I really like their pork cutlet bowls, but everything here is pretty tasty!” Izuku pulled back, quietly prattling on about the various dishes he had tried as Kirishima stared with a mild blush.
“Hey, um, Midoriya? You good?” Izuku’s head snapped up and he covered his mouth quickly, ears burning red.
“I-i'm so s-s-sorry! I kind of ramble and mutter a lot, e-especially when I'm nervous…” Kirishima laughed and sat back, grinning.
“Ahaha, sorry to laugh, it's just… Dude, you're adorable! Like, seriously, I don't know who stood you up but they are seriously missing out!” Izuku blushed and couldn't speak, no matter how much he tried. He had never gotten such a sweet compliment before and eventually he just hid behind his hands, mumbling nonsense under his breath. Kirishima smiled softly, gently pulling Izuku’s hands away.
“Too much? Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you like that.”
“N-no, I'm just not used to people… s-saying things like that.” Izuku muttered, not taking his hands away. Kirishima’s touch was warm and gentle, comforting after having been ditched mere minutes before.
“Really? Are all your friends blind or something? I mean, the freckles, the hair, the cute little mumbling, I'm shocked you aren't married or something!” Izuku laughed, sipping at the last of his water.
“I… I am definitely not married, that's for sure. I'm still in college, it's my third year. How about you? Do you go to the university?” Kirishima nodded, waving a waitress over to order.
“Mhm! Same year, majoring in art. How about you?” Izuku felt his heart jump, this guy was cute, sweet, and an artist? He was way too good for him and yet, Izuku never wanted this to end. Ending meant leaving and leaving might mean never seeing Kirishima again. Before he could talk, the waitress came over and smiled at them.
“Oh! Your date showed up! Sorry for the delay with your bread, a fresh batch just went in the oven! Would you guys like to order anything else?” Kirishima nodded, grinning.
“Two pork cutlet bowls, please! And-” Kirishima leaned up to whisper something to her, smiling as she noted it down and walked away. Izuku tilted his head in curiosity but got only a smile in return. “Anyway, whats your major?”
“Oh, um… it's kind of embarrassing…” Izuku blushed brighter, wondering if he was going to burst into flames before the night ended.
“I won't laugh, promise! Come on, I'm so curious!” Izuku smiled softly, unable to resist the puppy eyes Kirishima was giving him.
“Alright, you win. My major is education, with a focus on preschoolers and younger kids.” Izuku glanced away, feeling Kirishima’s grip tighten on his hand.
“Really? That's so neat! Do you want to be an elementary school teacher?” They got to talking about their hopes for the future, Izuku wanting to run a small preschool and Kirishima confessing that he didn't know what he wanted to do. They talked about anything and everything until the food came, two steaming bowls placed in front of them.
“Enjoy! And I'll be back before long with that special order of yours!” The waitress winked and left them to their food, Kirishima digging right in.
“Ah, fuh, hot!” He cried, instantly regretting the bite of pork and noodles he had taken. Izuku giggled, blowing on his own spoonful of broth before eating it. When Kirishima finally recovered he smiled, letting the next bite cool significantly.
“Wow, this is amazing! I don't think I've ever eaten anything this good!” Kirishima exclaimed happily, eating quickly as Izuku split his attention between watching and eating his own food. He couldn't help it, Kirishima was beautiful, even as he scarfed down his food like a starving man. And Kirishima didn't seem to notice the eyes on him, only glancing up when his bowl was nearly empty.
“Hey, are you okay? You haven't eaten much.” Izuku smiled sheepishly, running a hand through his hair.
“I'm okay, just a little… distracted.” Kirishima smiled and stole a bite of egg from Izuku’s bowl, his eyes glimmering with mischief.
“Better eat up!” Izuku giggled and lightly smacked Kirishima’s hand when it went for a slice of pork, eating it before he could.
“There you go! Don't get too full though, there's a surprise for you later!” That grin made Izuku freeze again, another bite halfway to his mouth. How could this man, practically a stranger, make his heart beat like this? Make him feel like he had found everything he wanted in the span of an hour? It was scary, if Izuku was being honest with himself. He didn't want to mess this one up, not with Kirishima.
“Distracted again?”
“Oh, yeah… Sorry, I get into my own head a lot, I guess.” He didn't elaborate, not wanting to bore Kirishima with his life story.
“Try to stay here, okay? How about I talk and help you out?”
Izuku wanted to cry, Kirishima had done it again, made him feel like he was the only guy in the world. But he bit back the tears and let Kirishima talk, rambling on and on about his friends and the antics they had gotten into. It kept Izuku focused, quickly finding his bowl empty thanks to Kirishima. As it turned out, they both knew Bakugou, Kirishima actually having several amusing stories to tell about him and his friends. Izuku coughed with laughter at one point, wiping his cheeks when he finally stopped laughing.
“And they survived? Really?”
"Well, barely! Bakugou was on the warpath for days, Mina wound up losing a chunk of hair in the process! Oh and Sero, poor Sero!” Kirishima laughed and leaned on one arm, gazing at Izuku. He took in the little details of the smaller boy, the way his mouth turned up at the corners so easily, the blush that almost constantly colored his cheeks, the glimmer in his eyes, it was all so beautiful to Kirishima. Before long the waitress was back, taking away their empty bowls and setting a massive sundae on the table along with two spoons.
“Kirishima, did you order this? Y-You didn't have to that, i-i mean, you're already paying for dinner…”
“I wanted to share dessert with you, and besides… I'm having a lot of fun with you.” Izuku smiled and took a spoon, popping a bite of ice cream into his mouth.
“I'm having fun too, Kiri!” Izuku smiled shyly, watching as Kirishima took the cherry from the sundae and popped it into his mouth. A minute later and he was sticking his tongue out to reveal the stem, tied into a perfect knot.
“Whoa! I've never been able to do that!” Kirishima grinned, setting the stem aside and taking a spoon for himself.
“I could teach you, sometime, if you like.” He felt his cheeks turn pink, trying to keep his confidence up as Izuku stared at him with wide eyes.
“I, u-um, yeah! Yeah, that would be great!” Izuku distracted himself with more ice cream, sneaking glances at Kirishima. He felt like he was back in high school again, a shy little freshman who crushed on anyone who gave him the time of day. But Kirishima hardly seemed to mind, smiling when their eyes caught for one heart-stopping moment. He held out a spoonful of ice cream, a flavor Izuku had not tasted yet.
“H-huh?”
“Eat it!” Kirishima’s grin was so pure and sweet that Izuku couldn't resist, leaning in to eat the ice cream and pulling back with a blush.
“Mmm, it's good!” He covered his mouth and sat back, hiding his grin. When he pulled away he noticed Kirishima staring at his lips a little too long.
“You, um, there's chocolate on your lips.”
“O-oh!” Izuku quickly wiped his mouth and looked at the dim reflection of his phone to make sure he was clean.
“I would have kissed it away, but I didn't want to be too forward or anything, y’know?” Izuku nodded and tried his best not shiver with delight. Kirishima wanted to kiss him, really wanted to, and Izuku couldn't be more pleased.
“I… wouldn't have been mad o-or anything.” He smiled, shoving ice cream into his mouth to keep from saying anything too embarrassing.
“I'll have to remember that.” Kirishima teased. It wasn't long before the sundae was gone and Kirishima asked for the check, grabbing it off the table before Izuku got the chance.
“Nope, no looking!” Izuku giggled, watching as Kirishima handed the check back.
“C-can I get the next one, then?”
“Next one?” Kirishima’s expression was damn near impossible for Izuku to read and he quickly covered his mouth, looking away.
“S-sorry, I got too a-ahead of myself…” His apology was muffled but Kirishima took his hand away from his mouth gently, bringing it to his lips with a smile. The gentle kiss brought Izuku back from the dark parts of his mind, eyes wide and meeting Kirishima’s.
“You can pay next time, dude, I'm not gonna stop you.” His grin said more than his words, reassuring Izuku that his move had been welcome. Soon, his card was returned and they were ready to go, Izuku getting an all too good look at Kirishima in his suit.
“You're dressed really nicely, were you s-stood up by someone important?”
“Huh? Oh, nah, Bakugou dressed me, said it was the only thing I had that was acceptable. I kinda run on muscle shirts and stuff, I guess this is a little over the top for this place.”
“Y-you look good, really good.” Izuku felt the gentleness of Kirishima’s touch as he led him outside, glancing at the parking lot.
“Hey, did you walk here or…” Izuku nodded, motioning at his tennis shoes.
“R-ran, actually. It's what I do when I'm really anxious. The dorms aren't far, it wasn't too bad.”
“I drove, want me to drop you off? My place is on the opposite side of the school but I don't mind!” Izuku nodded shyly, fighting the urge to whine when their hands separated to get into Kirishima’s beat up red car.
“Sorry it's such a damn mess, I let Kaminari borrow it for like a week. He's my bro but I swear he was raised in a barn sometimes.” Izuku just laughed and nudged a few old magazines off the passenger seat before strapping in. It was only a ten-minute drive, if that, but Izuku liked the quiet time. He spent it mostly watching Kirishima, listening as he hummed to whatever pop song made its way from the speakers. He never seemed to stop smiling, Izuku noticed, a gentle upturn of his (very soft looking) lips.
“Which building are you in?”
“O-oh! Um, this one right here. You can just let me out, don't worry.” Kirishima shook his head, parking haphazardly and opening his door.
“And leave without your number? Hell no!” Izuku blushed but went with Kirishima up the stairs to his dorm room, stopping right outside the door.
“I should… probably go in. My roommate is expecting me and…”
“Hey, no worries. Is it cool if I get your number? Don't feel like you have to or anything but I felt like it was a pretty nice night, all things considered.” Izuku nodded and passed over his phone, Kirishima handing over his in return. They switched a minute later, contact info typed in and saved for later.
“Ill text you, okay? I have class tomorrow but we can figure out a time to meet again or something!” Izuku nodded, rubbing the back of his neck and smiling.
“Thank you for tonight, it was great. And t-thank you for sitting with me when I was upset, most people usually just walk a little faster or look away.”
“I'm glad I did, you're too cute to cry. I'll talk to you soon, Izuku.” That bright grin hit him again as Kirishima turned away, heading for the stairs.
“Wait, Eijirou!” Izuku heard himself say it but it was as if he was simply a bystander as his body did things his mind never had the confidence to. Kirishima turned around and Izuku closed the scant difference between them to cup his cheeks. Izuku was pretty sure he was going to have a heart attack when his soul decided to return to his body because he leaned in and kissed Kirishima like it was nothing, pulling back before Kirishima recovered enough from the shock to return the favor. Apparently, the rush of chilly air back into his lungs was enough to pull Izuku back to reality, hands still cradling Kirishima’s pink face. But Kirishima was smiling and that helped keep Izuku from collapsing on the spot.
“W-wow… Yeah, I would really, really like a second date, holy crap.” He grinned, taking Izuku’s hands for a moment before drifting away. Izuku waved and called goodbye before slipping inside, finding Shinsou waiting for him near the window.
“Oh god, you saw all of that…”
“Mhm.”
“I-i can't believe I just did that! I kissed him, just like that, after one date that I never even meant to-” Shinsou touched his shoulder before plopping on his bed, encouraging Izuku to do the same.
“That wasn't the guy i set you up with, by the way.”
“Yeah, he… stood me up. Kiri saw me upset in the booth, he got stood up too, and he sat with me. We talked and ate together and… yeah, i guess you saw the rest.” Shinsou nodded, giving Izuku a smile.
“He likes you, a lot. Go to bed, i want details in the morning when your back from cloud nine.” The lamp shut off and Izuku snuggled into his covers, grinning with a stuffed toy pulled to his chest. His phone buzzed, reminding him that he was still in his nice clothes, and he glanced at it as he moved to undress.
One new message: <3 Kiri <3
Hey! Wanted to say goodnight and return that kiss, call you tomorrow? I'm done at 3~
Attached was a picture of Kirishima, grinning and blowing a kiss to the camera and easily sending Izuku into happy hysterics.
//I really wanted to try and write this week. It's the last week of my current school term so it's rather easy assignments finally. But my body decided to be like "screw you and your plans. Have fun being sick" so I've been too tired all week T-T hopefully by the weekend it'll clear up at least some and I won't feel so bluh.
