uraraka ochako is not a dancer, and she never has been. the most ochako has ever danced is maybe swaying side to side when she thought no one was looking. so, when kiri holds out a hand to the gravity hero, she blinks hazel eyes unexpectedly while pointing at herself, " ... me? kiri! i-- " before she can finish his hand has taken hers and his arm had found her waist.

pink tinged ochakos's cheeks when kirishima pulled her into his arms. flustered, she tries to laugh, but it comes out as more of a bashful giggle. she's quick to remember to lift a pinky off his shoulder, after all, they didn't need to be waltzing on the ceiling. " if i step on your foot, it's nobody's fault but your own, " she teases with a grin, trying to get her footing as they sway.

looking up-- gods, when did kirishima get so tall? ochako blinks skeptically, but still smiles regardless. as they spin around the room, ochako can't help but feel.. lighter. it's.. kirishima's bright smile, and the strong way he holds her, that somehow, magically, removes all her stresses of the day leaving the two of them just here in this happy moment.

which is all any one could ever ask for: happiness. kirishima goes in for the spin, and somehow ochako doesn't fall! in fact she laughs excitedly! loving the way her skirt twirls around her small frame. " you're pretty good at this, kiri! " she smiles again, attempting to twirl him this time! but.. he was a little tall, huh? ah, no matter, it still leaves the gravity hero in a fit of smiles and laughs.

finally, as the song ends, ochako leans forward to pull kirishima into her arms this time for a hug. close to his ear on his shoulder, ochako relaxes fully in his arms with a light hum, whispering, " thanks for this, kiri. i needed it, " she pulls back to meet red with hazel. " you're the best friend a girl can ask for. "

About Me

I've had this blog for about two years and only just realized I never like actually introduced myself.

So hi! I go by Issy or Iutb and use any/all pronouns!

I've been posting fanfiction to Ao3 for over four years, though I like to think I'm a better writer now than I was back in high school. I draw on occasion, and I've been trying lately to get into oil painting and watercolor. I like to listen to music (folk, rock, and classical) and play minecraft (I've logged 60+hours just in the last two weeks).

My Hero Academia - To be honest, I got so deep into this fandom that my versions of the characters are no longer connected to canon like at all.

here’s some headcanons for my current canon bn.ha muses on my roster since im still working on the muse page revamp! i have much more headcanons to come as well, but here’s some of the starters that a good amount of my portrayals will be based upon!

- has a younger sister, she's at least ten years younger than him. she’s his only sibling.  - parents have been gone / dead for about five years now; one parent had passed away when he was in his late teens, other parent passed away in a car accident when he was about 28. - loves / really enjoys designing; does what he can to help make jean related things + denim more fashionable, including incorporating them into outfits (ex. skirts with denim belts / stripes at the ends, jean jackets, etc) - used to be a model before he broke into designing clothing. as he was starting out as a designer, he continued to model. even now, he models once in a while. he feels like his experience in other parts of fashion design have contributed to his success. - 100% will share jean related memes because he likes the reactions others get, including his employees. - despite his cool and calm demeanour when talking to the press and in public, tsunagu is actually soft and genuine around people he’s comfortable with, ft the occasional awkwardness.  - (kinda spoilery if you aren’t up to date with the manga but?? here u go)    in his canon divergent au, he's in hiding and living under an alias; taichi wantanabe. currently living in a small town away from the bigger city. 

    Eijirou Kirishima : 

- he’s actually adopted! a couple who were unable to have children of their own had adopted Eijirou, as well as an older sister named Suki. they gave him + his sister a loving childhood.  - doesn’t remember much about his birth parents, other than the fact that he was very young when he was given up for adoption. - his older sister was quirkless, but despite this she encouraged Eijirou in his dream to become a hero. if anything, it’s because of her encouragement that he took more steps toward his dream, especially after his conversation with Ashido in middle school.  - loves loves loves animals. if he wasn’t dead-set on becoming a hero, he’d consider doing something with animals (be it a vet or an animal day care, he’d find something to do with them) - before he moved into the dorms at UA, he used to jog home from school. now instead, he does push-ups or pull ups to try to have a workout schedule going. - he jokingly gives his friends nicknames, but as their contact names in his phone. (ex. bakubro, pikachu, tapeman, etc.)

it’s been a few days since the battle took place. the news and media outlets were referring to the large scale battle as a war. to think she could one day tell someone she’d fought in the war-- the thought alone is enough to give mina an uncomfortable shiver down her spine. 

she’d been in the hospital for a day or so, recovering from the minor injuries she’d gained during the battle. in recovery, with nothing else to do in that hospital room, all mina had was time and her thoughts. thoughts of how she should be apologizing to her class for failing to complete the one task she’d be given, and more importantly, to kirishima. which, if it wasn’t for him, would they all even be here right now?

he’d been so amazing during the fight. he’d even.. saved her, when she couldn’t save herself. mina closed her eyes and exhaled through her nose, tucking herself further into the cushions on the sofa. -- how could she just.. freeze like that? kirishima and everyone else had been so strong and yet, mina dropped the ball at the most important moment. .. how was she supposed to call herself a hero one day if she couldn’t even overcome her biggest fears?

frowning, she sighed and tucked her face further into her hoodie, pulling the strings taught with a groan. she’d put the hood up to hide even more from the world, but she hadn’t had time to make room for her horns yet in this specific hoodie.

 she thought she was alone. as far as she knew everyone in class 1a was still at the hospital checking in on the rest of their classmates, but apparently, she wasn’t the only one in the dorms after all. sclera eyes glanced up when she heard footsteps approach her, and in turn, she was met with a head of red spikes-- oh no. she wasn’t quite sure she was ready to have this conversation.  “ oh, i-- uh, didn’t know anyone else was home! ”
