Around getting my new laptop and studying for a final exam for this semester, I haven't had as much time to go through the Monster Hunter event ://

Today's update is more about how I got 200K LMD and managed to spend it all almost in one go.

First off, though, we will see this scene.... 15 bajillion times and it will always be so hauntingly beautiful to me. The entire setup of leaves, water and moon are so peaceful. If only someone wasn't struggling to exist right in the corner.

I ALSO GOT THE YUKIBARE SKIN FOR SUZURAN I DONT EVEN HAVE HER BUT THIS IS THE SECOND SKIN I GOT FOR HER IN COPES THAT SHE'LLBE HOME EVENTUALLY.

Anyways, I got these three scruncles and a lot of headache over the idea that if I don't farm the stages hard enough this RNG is going to kick my butt. All I have been getting are Module stuff. Please cease. Be kind to me, I've had a rough time. I don't trust this thing called 'fate' anymore.

Also got Qanipalaat after saving up red credits for 2 months (Farming them is a scam and a loss of time and sanity unless you need catalysts and I still think you can find them better elsewhere).

A collaboration event between Monster Hunter and Arknights has begun in Japan!

I love both games, so I'm honestly happy about this collaboration.

I immediately started scouting, and immediately the limited-time operators of Kirin R Yato and Rathalos S Noil Corne came to me.

Both of them were originally low rarity operators, but after wearing equipment that actually appears in Monster Hunter, their rarity became quite high.

In addition, the two of them were wearing masks, so I couldn't really see their true faces, but after removing the masks, I was able to see that they had a well-groomed face at this event.

I hope that both of you will do your best as reliable operators. And please fight with me.

Completed all Monster Hunter collab stages and got new units/skins (only Mint remains). It was really fun!

I love how pretty the stages are. The falling leaves make the atmosphere really cozy, and fitting September vibes. Boss ended up easier than I thought - it's a bit weird the rewards are from a little gacha and there are no material stages - but that's what it is, at least Suzuran has two cute little foxes now. Looking forward to the ex stages!

the next AK update might be monster hunter collab??? bc there's no recruitment update (chapter 12), and as a client update, it usually means there's a new event (side story/main theme)

whether reclamation algorithm comes with it is its own mystery (tho it lasts like 5 weeks so it could run concurrently)

If Arknights ever managed to land the fabled FromSoft collab somehow, we could get some pretty good alt skins for characters, I think! Such as:

Mudrock -> Havel the Rock skin, complete with Dragon Tooth for extra heavy bonking.

Hellagur -> The Owl skin, they are both Old Men With Massive Odachi, it writes itself.

Kirin R Yato -> Lady Butterfly skin, and also it'd be hilarious to grab what's basically an outfit crossover character and give it another outfit altogether.

Specter/Laurentina -> Valtr, Master of the League skin, to bring things back full circle since Specter is literally a reference to Valtr in the first place.

Gladiia -> Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower skin, same as Specter.

Gravel -> Dancer of the Boreal Valley skin, because you know she'd rock that outfit and the dual blades.

Kirin R Yato -> Skeleton Wheel skin, for that S3.

Reed the Flame Shadow -> Firekeeper skin. But this Firekeeper keeps the fire in people's burning corpses.

Ch'en -> Gaping Dragon skin. Self-explanatory.

Ifrit -> Ceaseless Discharge skin, but it's hilariously shoddily made and it looks cute, clearly made by Ifrit with her own hands and some duct tape.

Kazemaru -> Flexile Sentry skin, the puppet is literally her just turning around and letting her "other body" face to the front.

Typhon -> Starscourge Radahn skin, what with the greatbow mastery and techniques such as shooting multiple greatarrows at once and shooting a rain of pinpoint orbital greatarrows on enemies.

Rosa -> Greatbow Silver Knight skin. You know exactly which one. That one. Yeah.

Gummy -> Aldritch, Devourer of Gods skin. Self-explanatory.

FrostNova -> Ashen One skin. Self-explanatory.

Amiya -> Solaire of Astora skin. Because she's our friend and gives us hope! But watch out. On S3 activation, she gets the Sunlight Parasite.

W -> Unbreakable Patches skin. Because you know she'd rock that leather armor and have fun kicking people right into loot.

Ling -> Rom the Vacuous Spider skin, but also adorably shitty. Ifrit made it with spare materials, including little spiderling fits for Ling's dragons. She finds it funny and cute so she wears it.
