Never thought I'd have to make a post like this ever in my life, but unfortunately there's been growing pressure coming from friends, mutuals and haters alike, thus my need to make a statement to clear the air on the situation:

Yes, I am in love with Kirin Jodo.

I desire nothing more than to be held in Kirin Jodo's frail, bony arms and kiss his wrinkly, purple lips. I desire that geriatric man carnally in ways that if I announced to the world I would be shunned by my dearest friends and family. The VAs behind Avatar's voice

I was playing World Tour and for some reason I never really put too much thought into my Avatar's voice, and who the ENG VA was.

And it got me thinking about the other Avatar's voices that made an appearance, and who they were. Surprisingly, I have heard the Eng VAs in different medias before.

Hopefully, this can help people hear what their OCs sound like, instead of hearing bits and pieces from the game.

Thanks for asking! I’ve been thinking about this for a bit, and I think I’ve got the basic skeleton down:

(under the cut, spoilers for the big cleanup arc of mob psycho, for obvious reasons)

The “big cleanup” in this AU is actually partially proposed by Dimple, and only starts messing with him when he starts having to face consequences to his actions.

It’s revealed to the student council that a cult has been running in the school (A branch of the psycho helmet cult, or in the AU, psycho flame [name wip] cult).

The student council president, Kirin Jodo* proposes that they specifically work to take down the cult, but Dimple interjects and suggests they use the cult for their own gains.

They come up with a plot to pose as the god figure and use the cult to drive out students they don’t like (Dimple has a killer Reigen impression, and there’s a wig store Somewhere in their area judging from Mogami’s ability to un-balden himself).

Before they implement it, Dimple gets mistaken as Reigen while going to his house to hang out. Being used to dealing with Reigen’s psychic reputation for him (Reigen’s denial of his psychic abilities generally didn’t work to dissuade people interested in his powers, so Dimple took on those kinds of people for him), Dimple doesn’t deny being Reigen, and takes the awakening lab’s card.

Sometime after the start of the plan, but before it backfires, Dimple visits the awakening lab. He isn’t impressed, but decides to continue going.

The “big cleanup” starts working (although pretending to be an idealized version of Reigen is Not helping Dimple’s jealousy of Reigen’s powers), but begins to backfire over the next few weeks as the cult starts to spiral out of control.

Dimple is able to see that actual harm is being caused (and that he’s likely to be caught if things continue to spiral), but Jodo has gone from hesitant to high on power. He blackmails Dimple, and tells him he’ll pin the blame on him if he shuts down the plan.

Dimple is Not having a good time. His psychic powers are awakened from the stress the whole situation is causing.

Ritsu decides taking advantage of Dimple is an easy enough step to keeping his brother safe, but gets surprised by his own weakness. He decides to help out Dimple anyways, to gain the trust of him and Reigen.

Dimple starts fighting gang members, posing as Reigen, or “White-T Poison”.

Dimple and Mogami meet, and while Mogami does appreciate Dimple’s attempts at using his psychic powers for justice, he doesn’t trust him to abide by his definition of justice. Tensions rise, but Dimple sees how powerful Mogami is and runs away.

Jodo gets mistaken as White-T Poison and beaten up. He decides he wants to stop the “big cleanup” plan, to prevent himself from suffering more damage

To fuck with Jodo, Dimple refuses to shut down the plan. Behind the scenes, he works on stopping the cult, but he doesn’t tell Jodo that.

Dimple gets cornered in an alleyway by a gang, and starts to beat the shit out of them. Mogami notices, and decides to bring Reigen over, since Dimple is using Reigen’s nickname and fighting for him.

Reigen confronts Dimple, who tries to push Reigen away. Reigen refuses to be provoked, and apologizes to the beaten gang members

Dimple gets kidnapped by Hoshino**, a member of Claw’s 7th division, and Reigen gets knocked out.

*The old psychic guy who shows up at Mogami’s exorcism and gets Reigen cancelled, for the reference of people like me who can’t remember any character names.

**The member of the awakening lab who can bend spoons.

Anyways, that’s the main gist of it! Some stuff might get retconned or changed later on, but I appreciate the chance to get it all written down.

little bit confused by what happened in that last comic🗿

The curse had gotten so intense it was visible from the skyline. Jodo Kirin, who was there for an exorcism, gave up. Mob sees the house being consumed by the curse with that girl's brother inside and remembers ???% destroying his own house along with his relationship with his brother, and decides to start using his powers again to save Reigen. After making that decision, he finally feels comfortable being on speaking terms with Ritsu because his need for absolution has shifted from Ritsu (who could never give it to him in earnest - see his speculation in part 1) to Reigen (who was saved by Mob's powers).
