The Darkling used to be badly socialized due to Baghra’s upbringing, crowds don’t seem to make him comfortable (Winter Fete), when he’s nervous he’s walking around touching things (His interactions with Alina in 01×04 and 01×05.) and if he had any other tells, he’s had plenty of time to learn how to hide them, and behave appropriately to blend in.
