had the unique experience today of being lucky enough to win a plush kirby prize in an ichiban kuji that is Perfect for holding on my lap while I watch things on my laptop, while the something that I was in the midst of watching today was the seemingly most R-rated show netflix has to offer

this on its own is not much of an issue, except for the fact that due to this plush's design and how i had my hands folded over it it looks like kirby is watching along as well, leading to a particularly fascinating contrast in media consumption- here's a visual aid I put together demonstrating this phenomenon:

Ribbon is a character I actually don't draw a lot, I think I quickly drew her like three times before so I never took the time to properly make art centered around her. She's adorable that's for sure and I wanted to draw her dynamic with Adeleine (a character i also draw rarely lol), together they make a great duo (thanks star allies for that hehe)

An old unfinished "what-if" kirby anime scenario. Inspired by a convo based on this post from my friend @startistdoodles

Extra thoughts and context below

I've had this whole storyboard planned out and sitting around since 2022. I was planning to have an bit extra at the end where the dark matter descends and trails behind Dedede before entering into his back, all the while Waddle Dee exclaiming enthusiastically but Dedede brushing him off, oblivious.

If I ever end up polishing this, I'll probably add that in, maybe follow closer to the very original storyboard, where the waddle would "speak" to the dark matter, unaware(?) of its danger
