野原[Nohara] : Field, plain

薊[Azami] : Thistle

There were few flowers in the field, where the signs of autumn had disappeared. In the midst of all this, Azami(s) were barely blooming. Looking at them, the cephalic inflorescences (head flowers) were shorter and the purple flowers were darker in color than those usually seen. Probably due to the morning and evening frosts of the past few days, several had faded away despite being in bloom.

When I was looking at the faded color of Azami, I remembered the following tanka.

花の色は うつりにけりな いたづらに わが身世にふる ながめせしまに

[Hana no iro wa utsuri ni keri na itazura ni wa ga mi yo ni furu nagame seshi ma ni] Just as the colors of flowers fade during it rains on long days(長雨が降る[Nagaame ga furu]), so my appearance has faded, while I am just absently looking on(眺め[Nagame]) my aging(古る[Furu]) in this world. Kirara:knock knock knock Delivery!

Gorou:*opens door* Hey! You have my- whaaat are you wearing?

Kirara:It’s a very long and whimsical story I’ll tell you when I clock off. It’s like I’m an honorable thief.

Gorou:And you’re delivering packages in it?

Kirara:Oh it’s definitely caused some trouble, but I really do like this outfit! What do you think?

Gorou:It’s…pretty nice i suppose.

Kirara:Then why is your tail wagging so hard?

Gorou:Huh!?

He whips his head around to see his tail completely normal. His face turns red as he faces forward again to see the girl’s smug smile as she hands him the box and signature paper.

Gorou:Very funny… *hands her clipboard*

Kirara:Thank you. I pride myself on my quick wit. Thank you for using Komaniya Express. May you have a wonderful day.

She turns around to leave then lets out a yelp as she’s feels gentle fingers comb slowly up her tails, sending a rush up her spine. Her face glows bright red Kirara quickly turns to face him in flustered defiance as he slowly begins closing his door in smugness.

Kirara:You- that’s….ooooo you’re lucky I like my job! *walks off* Almost got me fired just now…. *rubs tails*

Galatras was finally ready

So Elyon, with the dirt He had given Galatras, formed one more new life form. Dreams and prophets among the mortal races had foreseen their coming, and the races of the planet had organized themselves into High Kingdoms in preparation. A High Crown was forged by the Lralku for each race, and the High Kings waited to welcome the new people.

On the highest mountain, Elyon breathed His Life into the new bodies he had formed, and placed His Fire in their heart. The First Man and the First Woman, Azor and Eleem, were born amidst loyal followers and admirers, who marveled at the Great Image in which Man had been created. With great ceremony, a Great Crown was placed on each human, giving them dominion over all that had been formed on the planet Galatras.
