as funny as "the power of friendship and this gun i found" is re: kuuga! i always find myself shrieking internally like! well yes but He didn't find it! that's Ichijou's gun... a symbol of the trust they have forged, that he can throw Kuuga his gun without a second thought... they work together so perfectly

i'm really enjoying kuuga. i love how different it feels from every other kamen rider show i've watched! i love the showa tribute aspects. i love the characters. i love the fuckin grody monster designs.

love that they kinda fake you out in the beginning like the dynamic between Godai and Ichijou is gonna be like the whole classic At Odds thing and then Ichijou just Cannot. you cannot have heated drama with Godai it will bounce right off him!

but they also serve to highlight the absurdity of the concept of either of them Dating someone outside all this.

neither of them have time for that! but they do have time for each other. They're both so deeply involved in fighting the Grongi!
