"You want me to do what?"

"Find the Red Hood and rip out his throat!"

Y/n stuck her hands inside her hoodie, furrowing her brows, looking at him as if he were crazy. "Why would I ever do that?"

Black Mask returned the intense gaze, and Y/n could sense he was losing his composure, which amused her. "Because you work for me," he said through gritted teeth.

Y/n smirked, relishing in getting under his skin. She had heard about the Red Hood disrupting Black Mask's supply, but frankly, she didn't care. In a few months, he wouldn't be her problem anymore.

She looked around at the construction workers fixing the aftermath of the explosion that took place a few hours ago. She took a step forward and leaned on his desk which somehow managed to survive.

“What's in it for me?” her face was only inches away from his the look in her eyes told him she was dead serious.

“Extra pay until your deed with me is done.”

Y/n straightened up from the desk, a sly grin playing on her lips. “Consider it done.”

As she left Black Mask’s office, her mind began to strategize. She knew Gotham’s underbelly well and understood that hunting the Red Hood required finesse. The city echoed with rumors about his movements and haunts, and Y/n was determined to navigate the tangled web he wove.

Her journey took her through dimly lit alleys and hidden meeting spots. She spoke with informants, listened to whispers in the shadows, and pieced together the puzzle of the Red Hood’s elusive presence.

Days turned into nights as Y/n relentlessly pursued her target, a dance of shadows in Gotham’s treacherous landscape. The city’s pulse thrummed with secrets, and she moved through it like a silent predator, closing in on the Red Hood’s trail.

Finally, a lead pointed to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Y/n approached cautiously, aware that the Red Hood was not to be underestimated. As she entered the dimly lit space, the tension in the air grew palpable.

And there he was, the Red Hood, a figure clad in crimson and black, standing defiantly in the center of the warehouse. Y/n sized him up, her gaze meeting the unmistakable red helmet that concealed his identity.

"I assume your daddy sent you?" Of course, he already knew that.

"You're foolish if you think that man is my father." Y/n took a step forward, a deliberate move.

He chuckled "You're good, you know. Found me quicker than I expected." Y/n tilted her head in confusion, a detail the Red Hood noticed.

"Yeah, I knew you were coming. Do you really think you'd find me if I hadn't allowed you to?"

Y/n's jaw clenched; the guy was undoubtedly a character, much smarter than he looked

"I know you hate Black Mask as much as I do. Join me, Y/n, we could run this city."

His offer was tempting, and under different circumstances, she might have considered it. However, her focus was on completing the job at hand. She had no desire to align herself with him; she wanted to finish this task like all the others.

"I have no interest in joining you. I came here to get a job done."

Jason sucked his teeth. "I was afraid you'd say that."

The air crackled with tension as Y/n and Jason circled each other in the dimly lit warehouse and without warning, Jason lunged forward, blades glinting ominously. Y/n sidestepped with a dancer’s grace, quipping, “Careful with those, wouldn’t want to ruin your manicure.”

He smirked, countering, “I’ve got more important things to worry about.”

Y/n countered with a series of quick strikes, her fists a blur. “Like what? Maintaining your mysterious bad-boy image?”

Jason parried with a fluidity that showcased his own combat prowess. “You think I do this for image?”

The echoes of their banter and blows reverberated through the empty space. Metallic clangs of weapons colliding punctuated the silence.

Their fight danced between offense and defense, a symphony of skill and determination. Y/n’s hands blurred as she executed a lightning-fast combination. “You really think you can take on the entire underworld on your own?” she teased.

He smirked, dodging with acrobatic finesse. “Just getting started, sweetheart.”

Y/n’s confident facade wavered for a split second, a subtle blush creeping across her cheeks. “Don’t get too cozy with endearments; you might not live long enough to enjoy them,” she retorted, trying to mask her flustered reaction.

Jason chuckled, catching the momentary vulnerability. “Sweetheart, you’re not the first to threaten me, won’t be the last.”

She rolled her eyes, but the unexpected flutter in her chest lingered as they resumed their agile dance. The echoes of their banter and blows reverberated through the empty space, creating a unique rhythm in the midst of the fierce battle.

In a sudden burst of energy, Y/n unleashed a powerful kick. “Time to wrap this up, Red.”

As the battle intensified, the clash of fists and kicks echoed in the warehouse. Y/n’s agility matched Jason’s strength, creating a dynamic equilibrium and it showed.

Jason had finally met his match.

Their faces mere inches apart, the intensity of their locked gaze mirrored the struggle for dominance.

Jason found themselves locked in a desperate struggle. Blades met fists, and the air crackled with the sound of their duel.

Exhaustion painted their faces, yet determination still burned in their eyes. A risky move from Y/n left an opening, and Jason seized the opportunity, disarming her with a swift kick. With her weapon clattering to the ground, he held her at a momentary disadvantage.

Breathing heavily, Jason surveyed the situation, the adrenaline of battle still coursing through his veins. Instead of capitalizing on his upper hand, he took a step back, releasing Y/n from his grasp.

Their eyes locked, a silent understanding passing between them. In that moment, the intensity of the fight transformed into a strange, unspoken connection. Jason, despite having the power to end it all, chose not to deliver the final blow.

“You’re good, Y/n. Maybe we’re not that different after all,” he said, his tone carrying an unexpected depth.

She looked at him, her guard still up, but a flicker of curiosity in her eyes. “Don’t read too much into it, Red. This doesn’t change anything.”

With that, he nodded, choosing not to pursue the confrontation further. The dimly lit warehouse remained a witness to their clash, a silent testament to the complexities of their entwined destinies. Jason vanished into the shadows, leaving Y/n to collect herself in the aftermath of their intense encounter.

“Mask is going to kill me.”

Honestly like, you kinda nailed it lmao. I love these hc’s. I don’t know how to add onto it LMAO but here I did include movie hc’s in one of my posts-

I fully agree that Cass and Kiera would love the slasher films. Cass likes the more modern ones because quite a few of them have a feminist vibe, whereas Kiera likes the classics because 1) they’re cooler and 2) they were probably the ones Lance showed her first.

Lance and Rapunzel both like the less spooky and more vibey Halloween movies. Like you said, a lot of Tim Burton and Halloween specials. I think Raps would like Edward Scissorhands and Corpse Bride in particular. I think Lance likes Beetlejuice (in his opinion the musical is much better.) Rapunzel probably loves The Great Pumpkin Peanuts special and all the Phineas And Ferb Halloween specials.

I think Eugene probably also likes the classic slasher films. And like you said, Cat likes the classic Universal Monster films.

Quirin probably watches Halloween movies like the Universal Monster movies, along with some of my ultimate faves- Arsenic and Old Lace and I Married A Witch. Basically Quirin watches a lot of older Halloween movies and I think Varian ended up with those as his favorites. Tbh I don’t think Varian watches a lot of fictional things to scare himself (or at all.) When spooky season comes around, he watches things like Blameitonjorge, Nexpo, Nick Crowley, etc. True scary stories. He probably also loves the internet rabbit holes because they’re kind of like puzzles. (I’m really projecting onto him ngl but it fits okay!)

I feel like Hugo likes “bad” Halloween movies. Failures. Movies that fail so badly at being scary they’re funny. Think Velocipastor (please think about Velocipastor it’s the greatest movie in existence) but I can also see him enjoying Found Footage and along with Varian, “True” scary stories.

I think Hugo, Varian, and the girls watch obviously fake ghost hunting videos and make fun of them. They watch a lot of John Wolfe. I can also see Varigo + Eugene, Lance, and the girls really liking Buzzfeed Unsolved and Ghost/Mystery Files, along with Too Many Spirits. Which Varigo reenact at one point.

I think Lance, Eugene, and the girls watch the Conjuring series and other paranormal movies together. I can’t see Cass and Hugo enjoying them a whole lot, and Varian and Rapunzel are super afraid of them. I can see Varian and Rapunzel watching The Twilight Zone together. And also those Halloweentown movies on Disney (I’ve not seen them but they seem like Disney Channel fans) Varian, Raps, and Eugene watched the Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina but deemed it not nearly as good as the original sitcom. Eugene and Hugo hate-watch Twilight. Raps watches Halloween baking shows. Lance and Hugo like Rocky Horror Picture Show. Lance and Eugene like Young Frankenstein.

I receive such whiplash from witnessing a post from you—then proceeding to be blessed with the shenanigans of how this asinine muppet man has been lured into a toxic yuri marriage, kin-morphed into Jesus, and his wife (who was a vampire vessel for the living Gerard Way—whom she channeled in a manner reminiscent of MAYA FEY) was the catalyst as to why he is Jesus now and is trying to sacrifice him as a result.

Excluding his two most recent posts (technically, the muppet man is pronounless as of now—but how do I even begin to address them?); he is unbridled Tumblr. He is Tumblr that has breeded with Tumblr itself, given birth to an infant, and nourished it with drugs whilst keeping it in a basement all of its life. It’s all theatrical, but he is a guilty indulgence I cannot abstain from. I hope you derive joy from them! Because we all require it right now

yeah i've watched the strange videos

personally i don't really like stuff like that though. i lived through an era of tumblr where people very much pretended to be cringey kinnie types on mass to convince the 0 reading comprehension propaganda prone idiots on this website that that's what the community was. the ripple effects are still felt to this day, with "kin drama" and "government assigned kin" jokes still being repeated even by some of the otherwise half-decent people i know.

i am obviously glad that people are better at telling when a joke is a joke now, but like... what's the punchline? that people act crazy online? that's not very funny to me. it just seems like lolcow mindset, without the actual harm coming to any real person. which is obviously... better? but like. i do not understand the humour/entertainment in "lets all point and laugh at this freak!"

like that's just completely humourless to me. i find absolutely no whimsical or intellectual stimulation in that. i'd rather not train my brain mechanisms to respond with ridicule and disgust to someone acting like a weirdo online, because one day i'm going to meet some real weirdos and i'd rather ensure that i meet them with compassion.

tl;dr yeah i know everything about that but it's patently unfunny to me. you do you i guess.

Childe Kinnie: A Character Analysis and Introspection

To immediately dive in: Childe is the poster child for C-PTSD. C-PTSD forms from experiencing repeated trauma for an extended period of time, the brain being forced to function solely on survival on a day to day basis, fitting Childe exactly, and is probably why I've, sadly, boasted him as one of my highest kins despite him being from Genshit (I am AR55 I can say that). Childe's trauma and his various methodologies of dealing with it and living with it are shown throughout his story and, your honor, make him So Me.

To begin: what caused Childe to form C-PTSD? Childe's trauma is, obviously, rooted from his fall into the Abyss. Although the experience isn't fully described in lore, it's easy to assume he had to be on constant alert, ready to fight at any given moment. It's here he met his teacher, Skirk, that allowed him to have the fighting skills necessary to survive in the Abyss and excel as a fighter in Teyvat. Obviously, having to be taught means he wasn't always a skilled fighter, and he undoubtedly would've had several close encounters during his time in the Abyss, on top of fighting requiring excessive alertness, especially when constantly in a hostile environment. Thus, being alert becomes a constant in his life.

Biologically, what is happening is stress hormones are constantly being pumped into the system, inducing the body into a constant state of fight, flight, or freeze. This state of mind is one that will continue to plague the mind and body for an extended period of time, and will affect relationships and viewing oneself moving forward. We can potentially see this in him being unable to form any meaningful relation with his peers–although such can also be blamed due to the eccentricness of the Harbingers themselves, who are… characters, to say the very least. Either way, there is a disconnect shown between them, with Harbingers either viewing their youngest as an oddity or with Childe looking upon them with disdain for how they follow through in their ways. Straightforward, Childe fights, and dislikes stopping to scheme like he peers frequently do.

Another addition to Childe's relations–although more of a headcanon–is a strained relationship with his family (younger siblings disincluded). Coming back to normalcy, Ajax (who had undoubtedly changed in an irreparable manner) is headcanon to have been ostracized from his family–those old enough to have seen the change. Ajax was once a frightened, hesitant boy, and within the span of three days the young boy had turned into a bloodthirsty weapon, quite literally losing the spark in his eye. He was unable to go back to living a normal life, and due to it, had his relationship with his parents completely uprooted. Unable to handle this new personality, the complete opposite of the young teen that walked off just three days prior, they sent him off to the Fatui, where his survivability made him thrive and Tartaglia was rightly born.

Upon the topic of Tartaglia, it is also of note his three names, and that they represent, because of course I relate to it as well. The names represent not only different periods of his life, but different personalities, or state of being he is. To begin: Ajax. Ajax, easily identifiable, represents the child that lived in innocence up until his fourteenth year. It carries the hope of a fair and good life, where nothing went wrong and happiness was of abundance. It is his inner child, the spark that once lit his eyes.

Tartaglia comes next. Tartaglia comes from the cruelty of the Abyss, of surviving and of the power he holds. It is a title that shows he has survived–the youngest Harbinger, the Tsaritsa's Vanguard: Tartaglia is a shield. Tartaglia is the hypervigilance of his surroundings, the need for bloodshed, to maim any potential threat before it can hurt him. Tartaglia is isolated, above any common soldier or general, disconnected to his fellow Harbingers, unable to see the reasons behind why they act. Tartaglia is a weapon, meant to be used, to serve a purpose in a way he doesn't decide: so unable to do anything other than survive, knowing how to do nothing other than fight, it makes sense to dedicate himself fully as the Tsarita's weapon. Ultimately, Tartaglia boasts his trauma and shows you just how well he can fight, that he is still surviving.

Childe, then, is the remnant of hope. Childe is the mask worn–it is what he introduces himself as, the showing of a cheerful, childlike man. Friendly and confident, willing to protect and keep any promise held. A fierce dedication to his family–parcels of letters and medication sent back to the family that sent their teenager to the military. Childe, willing to sacrifice his health, even like, for the sake of his little brother who unknowingly wandered into mortal. Childe is the want of normalcy. The want to create a place safe enough to do something more than survive–to let Ajax breathe for the first time in years. Willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of those the holds dear, Childe would do anything for the approval that he lacks from his peers and family.

Three separate states of being, three separate all conglomerating into one fucked up guy. A silly guy who puts on a front that to either hide away from his trauma or to boast how he has survived. A constant switch, unable to lice without the other: both Childe and Tartaglia, who hold the dying corpse of Ajax in their arms: one trying desperately to heal him, the other desperately trying to protect him. Ajax needs both to survive, but is given only one or the other, never both, never given any gasp of air to breathe.

The change of names could also hold significance in trying to avoid–another common symptom of C-PSTD. By changing such an integral part of himself, it creates a distance between who he is now versus who he was then. Perhaps it is projection: I, too, changed my name to separate myself from who I was, from the trauma that clung to my life in the past, which makes it of perfect sense to why it is fitting, then, for Childe to boast three separate names. Ajax and the trauma of the Abyss, to Tartaglia and his time spent in the military and ostracized from his peers, and Childe who, hopefully, will rise apart from the names that haunt his every step.

Ultimately, he is just a silly little guy with a shitton of trauma. A jokester whose need to survive slips in every now and then, a constant reminder of the harshness he faced on a prolonged basis. And because of that, your honors he is sooooo me. Me fr. Omg. Me if I didn't get therapy.

Why I think Katsuki has BPD

(As a katsuki kinnie with BPD)

Disclaimers:

I'm not saying he definitively has it, just that I headcanon him to have it.

I'm also not a licensed professional or even educated on this topic, I just have it myself and am loosely going off how the symptoms are defined in the DSM V.

BPD is a disorder that can only be diagnosed when someone is 18 or older. Currently, Katsuki is 17, nearly 18, and a requirement of BPD is for the symptoms to be present since the age of 15 (how old Katsuki is at the start of BNHA) so I'm still gonna make this anyways lol.

This not only includes things from BNHA but also the movies and BNHA Team Up Missions

1) Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights).

Do I even need to give proof for this one? Katsuki's temper and habit of getting into fights is a defining trait of his character and has been throughout the entire series.

2) Transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms.

Paranoid ideation is characterized by someone having a persistent suspicion and distrust of people around them. People experiencing paranoid ideation might believe that others are trying to harm them or treat them unfairly, even when there's no evidence to support this. While Katsuki exhibits this towards ALOT of people, especally if he intimidated by them, Deku is the one he exhibits it most to.

The reason Katsuki bullied Deku is because he believed it to be mutual. He felt an inferiority to Deku, depite the fact that he was quirkless, and began to develop an inferiority complex, but also a superiority complex, only focusing on Deku’s flaws as a way to cope with that inferiority complex.

He believed that Deku was being condescending towards him and was trying to goad him into losing his temper, angering him more since it felt like Deku knew he was better than him. Later he believes he’s been pretending to not have a quirk so he could purposely embarrass him in UA, believing that he’s finding sadistic enjoyment in Katsuki’s difficulty adjusting to UA and confusion over his quirk and their relationship. That deku was manipulating Katsuki to believe he didn’t have a quirk for 10 years, and he never realised.

Katsuki also prefers to act alone because he hates the idea of being protected or having to rely on other people to assist him. He's got better as the series has progressed and he's gotten to know his classmates, acknowledging the importance of working with others every now and then but he still prefers to be the leader of said group, protecting them from harm while expecting them to do the same for him in return.

3) Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self.

Katsuki looks up to All Might and has aspired to be like him ever since he was a child, but outside of that he doesnt really have any sense of who he is or what he wants to be. This is best shown when he notices how close All Might and Deku are and this one assumption makes him question the thing hes been so passionately working for, for years.

On top of this has both a superiority complex as well as an inferiority complex and seems to gauge his identity based of the people around him. He often avoids thinking about himself and instead focuses on the people around him (i.e. "instead of thinking about how good or bad I am at this thing, I'll think about how good or bad this person is".)

An example of this is how Katsuki would try to believe that Deku was nothing because he didn't want to accept that he wasn't living up to his unreasonably high expectations of himself. Being forced to confront this at UA was what caused his superiority/inferiority complex to get worse.

4) A pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation.

Black-And-White thinking is the simplest phase to use for this and an opinion about a person can go from "white" to "black" over barely anything. Again, Izuku is a perfect example of this. Katsuki and Izuku where best friends as kids but after his quirk didn't form and the infamous lake scene happened, he misinterpreted Deku's care as condescension and it turned into genuine hatred that lasted years.

Then after years of hatred, he has one "conversation" with him, talking things out, and they become best friends again, so much so that he risks his life on multiple occasions trying to protect him. Katsuki even risks his own health seeing if Izuku is okay when he breaks his arms. Risking his health to protect Izuku eventually gets to the point where he ends up killing himself in the war arc to do so. Even when he gets brought back to life, awakened from his coma, he risks his health to see if Izuku is okay.

In the latest chapter he's the only 1-A (Now 2-A) classmate that visits him in the hospital. When he finds out he'll never fully recover from his injuries and has potentially permanently lost an arm, he's more annoyed if anything, but when he finds out Izuku's lost his quirk, he breaks down crying, again blaming himself for Deku's injuries. All of this even though, only a few months ago, he hated his guts.

5) Affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days).

Affective instability is defined as repeated, rapid, and abrupt shifts in mood and while Katsuki has always been very emotionally driven, this is more accurate to Katsuki post kidnapping arc and especially him post war arc.

An example is in his fight with Deku, after All Mights near death, his mood rapidly shifts from non-verbal annoyance, to angry name calling to tearful venting throughout the entire fight, with Izuku's efforts to calm him down seemingly making him more erratic.

Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment.

As mentioned in the previous page, Katsuki got insecure and jealous of Izuku because All Might was paying attention to Deku's progress and "wasn't paying attention" to Katsuki's progress. This actually gets called out by All Might himself in chapter 62. He tries to get rid of Deku and frantically tries to beat All Might on his own to get back his approval, confusing Izuku and All Might who don't understand why he's so upset.

Impulsivity in areas that are potentially self-damaging.

Katsuki is extremely impulsive and gets the "consequences" for it all the time. I'll use getting into dangerous fights as an example.

In the World Heroes' Mission movie, Katsuki fights the Serpenters Twins, Ena and Dio. Katsuki fights them on his own and ends up getting mercilessly shredded apart. Even though he won in the end, he was injured to an insane amount. His entire body is torn apart and he's bleeding out of one of his eyes, but he only cares about how he won.

Recurrent suicidal behaviour, gestures or threats, or self-mutilating behaviour.

Katsuki throws himself into danger, not caring about how much he hurt so maybe you can call that recurrent suicidal behaviour? However, I'd rather focus on something else. This is something I don't really see people talk about much but Katsuki "trains" when he's stressed out. While it's not talked about much, excessively working out can be considered NSSI aka Nonsuicidal Self-Injury and while not suicidal, it's still self harm and considered self-mutilating behaviour.

The following aren't symptoms of BPD but are still relevant.

Difficulty managing/talking about/explaining emotions and struggles

Most people with BPD struggle to vocalise and put into words what's upsetting them and even may not understand what is making them feel like that, especially men since the fear of venting could be greater than a woman's due to societies expectations of men and vulnerability.

Small friend circles/habit of isolation

Due to difficulties socially, many people with BPD will fixate on certain people and ignore others, sometimes even isolating themselves completely. While this was sort of hinted before the kidnapping arc (Katsuki being rude to every one other that Ejiro and maybe Denki and only paying attention to them, Izuku and Shoto.) afterwards, he moved in with the other 1-A classmates and all of them reiterate on multiple occasions that theyre worried about how Katsuki never leaves his room.

Yeah, sure, you could chock this up to the fact that he's coping with the trauma of getting kidnapped and watching his idol "die" days before, but even after he "gets over" that, he's still as quiet as introverted as before

Maybe even more so, since after he and Izuku became friends, he would stay with him and would rarely be seen with other characters without Izuku also being there.

Questionable Childhood

Its made very clear in the series that Katsuki and his mother are very similar an he treats the people around him the same way his mother treats him. Aka, Katsuki was abused as a child by his mother and abuses others because he doesn't understand that his mother is abusive and not just angry at him.

This environment growing up is why he acts the way he does (at least personality wise) and while his mother very obviously cares about him (post war arc is proof of that), she doesn't hesitate to hit him, berate him and victim-blame him, even in front of his teachers.

Also in chapter 165, when trying to teach children to help get his license, Katsuki recommends beating the kids and accidentally confesses to the team that happened to him as a kid and it must fine because of the "My parents did that to me and I turned out fine." mentality he has.

While this is proof that she treats him like this normally, its also completely possible that his home life could be even worse than what's been shown to us, especially because he seemingly doesn't know what happened to him was wrong.

BPD is a disorder that is formed due the environment someone grows up in and in up to 90% of BPD cases, the source is associated with abuse. You're also more likely to get a diagnosis of BPD if someone in your close family has it. This suggests that even if she isn't being abusive towards him, his similarity to her could be that he inherited a personality disorder she has.

Another thing to add to this point is that bullying is also a cause of BPD and while most people don't talk about it, Katsuki used to get picked on by classmates and older kids because of his quirk.

PTSD/C-PTSD

This might sound weird at first but hear me out! Katsuki has PTSD/C-PTSD from the sludge monster incident and his home life (pre 15). Post 15, he also has trauma from being kidnapped and witnessing the near death of his idol (which he blames himself for). This all makes sense if he has BPD, because not only is BPD usually caused by trauma (like PTSD) but a study showed that Borderline personality disorder and complex post-traumatic stress disorder are commonly found together, with between 25% and 60% of people with BPD also have C-PTSD.

Self-blame

When someone close to Katsuki gets hurt or when something he's involved in goes wrong, his first instinct is to blame himself. He blames himself for the sludge monster incident, he blames himself for being kidnapped by the LOV, he blames himself for All Might's near death, he blames himself for Deku being quirkless. All of this when in all these situations, he was innocent or worse, the victim.

Even when it comes to his upbringing, when he finds out Shoto got beat as a kid, he gets worried about him and asks if he's okay, but when he talks about him getting beat as a kid and shoto shows the same concern, he immediately dismisses it because he "turned out fine".

Self blame is very common for people with BPD. It’s usually used as a defence mechanism and is a common response to having a traumatic experience. This is especially true even when the traumatic event occurs through no fault of the victim, as it allows them to feel that they have control over everything that happens to them.

Self-blame can grow into low self-esteem and even self-hate, which could be the case because of how much Katsuki has been apologizing to Izuku in recent chapters and how much he feels in debt to him because of how badly he treated him. It's understandable since he bullied him for a reason he now understands was wrong, but even then it was all over a misunderstanding and he did his best to make it up to him afterwards.
