Videl's inclusion and integration into the Dragon Team is such a missed opportunity for fun interpersonal dynamics and interactions, what with Toriyama seemingly unable to decide where he wanted the story to go until Boo and Majin Vegeta basically derailed the entire thing.

One moment I keep imagining and can't get out of my head is everyone telling her stories of their adventures, how they met, how they were all kind of awful people when they were young and so on. Yet everyone has more than one moment where they displayed immense courage, loyalty, friendship, honor, selflessness etc.

But then they get to Vegeta. Everyone's kind of used to him now but once they try to think of any positives for the guy, they stop dead in their tracks. Pretend Boo and Majin Vegeta don't happen in this scenario yet. Or at all. Whatever floats your boat.

So they try to downplay how much of a scumbag he was or how he never really earned his place with the group or worked off his bad karma like the others did.

So they try to spin a "he helped when needed" tale more for Bulma's sake than anyone else's.

Piccolo ends up being the only one who tells her like it is and forces Gohan and Krilling to tell her the whole truth regarding Vegeta and what he was/is like.

So the three of them tell her everything. All the horrible stuff he did even when fighting on their side. Videl looks horrified at Bulma and Gohan, asking her how she could boink him and how Gohan can tolerate him after what he put him through.

"Eh, he's alright." he says.

Videl goes home and lays awake in bed in a state of a semi mental breakdown and existential crisis, wondering just what kind of insane group of people she's dealing with.

Bandits, would-be assassins, space pirates, alien demons, shapeshifting animals, fearsome castle lords, cyborgs made by a cooky old geezer from a long gone terrorist army, CEO of Capsule Corp who at 16 shot a 12 your old monkey boy in the head with a pistol with no hesitation, bizarre cat deities that live with lazy fat ronin and perverted martial arts hermits who taught math to his students as part of their training.

On top of learning that there was a literal space Hitler zipping around the galaxy, wiping out entire solar systems and was this close to wiping out Earth if not for a time traveling half alien, half human hybrid.

It's a lot to process and she can't even talk to her dad about it because he's still in denial over what he saw in the old tournaments and during the Cell Games.

Then she learns that the Tournament Announcer is a bit in-the-know and goes to him for information only to find that all he knows is what he witnessed at the tournaments and his knowledge of old martial artists. Then he gives her a history lesson on martial artists like King Chappa, Namu, Giran, Bacterian, the Wolf Man and so on. He helps her deal with all the weird and bizarre shit of the world that she was frighteningly ignorant of.

But will forever have a hard time feeling safe with Vegeta around

How strong do you think Nam, King Chappa and Bora were at the beginning of Z, assuming they each continued training throughout that entire time period? How would their ‘beginning of Z’ selves fare at the 22nd or 23rd tournaments, in your view?

Probably not much different.

It can safely be assumed Chapa is beyond human limits. I say that because Roshi draws the "Human limits" line around Pamput.

This guy lasts five seconds in the ring with Goku.

This bout kinda seems like space-filler at first glance, but instead it serves the role of providing a yardstick. Pamput is an exceptional martial artist and top-tier of what fighters are capable of... within human limits. He's basically Mr. Satan.

Our characters broke those limits a long time ago and left human ability a long way back.

Chapa gave Goku more of a fight, however, and his signature technique Hasshuken/Eight-Armed Fist is based on moving your arms at such tremendous speech that it forms the illusion of having eight of them.

So I feel confident saying that Chapa is beyond human limits. He's still no match for Goku but that's not exactly a mark of shame. Goku's fucking tough.

Namu also puts up a much better fight against Goku than Pamput, but that was three years earlier so it's not as fair of a comparison. The Goku he fought hadn't even learned how to anticipate his opponents yet.

Still, a man who can jump this high for his signature move is probably beyond human limits, I think.

My dude leaps like forty feet straight up and then lets gravity be his weapon. He comes down face first even.

Then again, Pamput can do this with an elbow strike.

So that jump might still be within human limits. I don't know. As for Bora....

Yeah, that seems beyond human limits. I'd call that conclusive.

In any case, these are all tough guys. But I don't see them going much farther than they are now. I can see them getting stronger, but on their scale, if that makes sense.

In fact, we see Chapa again at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai and get an idea of how his improvement compares to Goku's.

This time, there's barely even a pretense of a fight. Goku wastes him like Pamput.

Even if Chapa, Namu, and Bora were to continue their training, they would need to pursue higher forms of training to grow beyond where they are. That would mean studying martial arts that explore the concept of ki, which is relatively obscure in martial arts spaces; It's really just the Kame-senryu and Tsuru-senryu that comprehend this advanced concept.

Namu has his village to concern himself with; He was only at the Tenkaichi Budokai to get water for his people. He clearly practiced martial arts in his spare time before all this - The Tenkaichi Budokai is not an entry-level competition, despite the experiences of the Kame-senryu prodigy children. However, he's not seeking to become the #1 greatest martial artist in the world.

Chapa seems pretty set in his ways. He's an older man convinced of his mastery. I don't expect him to start looking for new avenues to learn from.

Out of the three, Bora is the one I'd see with the most potential for improvement. He has a sacred duty to guard the base of Karin Tower.

Now that he's seen someone make the climb successfully, he might take that as motivation to give it another go. Though probably not until Upa's older and can defend the Sacred Land himself.

But ultimately, I don't see any of these guys reaching same heights as Krillin, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan. Namu and Bora don't have the spare time to travel the globe on a journey of greater martial arts mastery and study advanced ki manipulation, or to ascend to the heavens and meet gods who will offer them further training.

Chapa does. But I don't think he wants to.

Dragon Ball 134

It’s the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai!   And Piccolo Junior is the man to beat!   But almost nobody knows who he is, because he entered as “Majunior”, and apparently no one recognizes him with that turban over his antennae.     Tien notices him immediately, but Goku asks him not to say anything, for fear of starting a panic.   

But Piccolo Junior isn’t the only surprise at this tournament.   Turns out there’s a lady at this event, and she’s very excited to see Goku.   Unfortunately, Goku has no idea who she is, which makes her very upset.

Krillin flips out after she leaves.   Krillin goes gaga over every girl who looks in his general direction, but this is on a whole other level.  

I relate to Krillin a lot.   I’m not even sure what he’s so upset about exactly, he’s just frustrated that Goku’s got cute girls he doesn’t even know about, while Krillin’s got nothin’.   Does he want Goku to find out if she has a sister?   Is he hoping Goku will tell him his secret to attracting women?   I don’t know, and I don’t think Krillin does either, honestly.     He just saw Chi-Chi and decided that life was completely unfair.   

Why has one of Piccolo Daimao’s henchmen come to the tournament now?!   This never really gets explained, beyond the likelihood that Junior knew Goku would be here, so it made the best place for a confrontation.   But it’s not like he announced this to anyone, and yet Kami told Goku like it was a certainty. 

Also, why did Hulk Hogan come to the tournament?    

It’s time for the preliminaries.   This year, only 72 fighters showed up, which I think is about half as many as last time.   Tien asks Chaiotzu to screw around with the number drawing, which will ensure that each of the gang gets put in a different block, and that way they won’t have to fight each other before the tournament begins.

So the brackets are set up, and Oolong and Puar sneak in to watch.    The prelims are supposed to be off-limits to spectators, but apparently if you can turn into a bird you can fly right in.    Yamcha looks pretty ridiculous with Puar perched on his shoulder as a bird.   When he’s a cat, it’s fine, but a bird is just too much.   I won’t even get into Oolong’s half-assed pig-man-bird creature.

Goku’s first opponent is... King Chappa!   Again.   What a coincidence.

At the last tournament, Goku basically ate Chappa’s lunch, despite Chappa being a former World Champion and one of the most revered fighters on the planet.   This time, Chappa’s returned to avenge that loss, but Goku’s only gotten stronger.    He doesn’t even bother defending himself, and waits for Chappa to come at him.

Seagull Puar looks on with great interest.

Goku plays with Chappa again, but only briefly.    He lands a single chop to Chappa’s neck, and that’s the fight.    Boom.

And this is the payoff for all those episodes of Goku training under Mr. Popo.   He seemed to be completely clueless the whole time, but now it’s three years later, and the others keep talking about how calm and focused he is, and how well he’s managed to suppress his energy, which were all things Popo was trying to get him to do.    So at least we know Goku has learned how to do all these things and apply them to his fighting style.   What we don’t know is whether or not he’s achieved this to Popo and Kami’s satisfaction.    But Yamcha and Tien are certainly impressed.

And so is Piccolo, although he’s still very confident that he can destroy Goku no matter how well he can lay out jobbers like Chappa.

From here, we see a whole montage of the squad working their way through the preliminaries with no trouble at all.   Then we get to Chiaotzu, who...

OH SHIT CHIAOTZU’S DEAD!   AGAIN.  It... it wasn’t supposed to be this way!  He just had to lightly tap all the weaker fighters and cruise into a friendly match with Tien.   How could this have happened?

His opponent assures Tien that he didn’t actually kill Chiaotzu, since that would get him DQ’ed.

Awwww, yeah, it’s Mercenary Tao!    He’s back, and he’s here for revenge!

Short version is this: Goku defeated Tao about seventy episodes back, and then Tao tried to throw a grenade at him, and Goku kicked it back in his face when it exploded.    Turns out he survived that somehow, and then spent all his money getting rebuilt as a cyborg.   Why did he bother paying his bill?   Normally Tao just threatens people into comping him.

So not only does Tao want revenge on Goku, but he also has it in for Tien and Chiaotzu, since they betrayed his brother, the Crane Hermit.   

This is what I love about this show.    Piccolo Junior would be enough to carry this arc, but this is a whole tournament of guys Goku has to fight, so we were bound to see at least a couple of friendly matches with some of his pals, but on top of that, we have this mystery lady (psst!  it’s Chi-Chi) and now there’s a whole other villain who also came to the tournament to murder Goku.   It’s amazing is what it is.

The concept of there being a rival dojo to Tien’s that is super hardcore obsessed with besting him but Tien is fully unaware of this because he keeps to himself. At the next martial arts tournament Tien attends with his students and is totally confused when some guy he beat at a tournament 20 something years beforehand comes up and is all in his face about getting revenge and hoe his students are gonna wash tiens and Tien's just going... this feels familiar.... :|

when it comes to like- The Remaining Cast and who’s in the show/manga probably chiaotzu is one of the most underrated characters. like people acknowledge he exists but- this is due in part to how he’s handled in super- no one really appreciates just how funky or fun of a character he was or has the potential to be. he’s more or less kind of treated like tien’s accessory opposed to an actual character who can fight and do what he wants at this point. i’ll save my chiaotzu rant for another day tho cause i have a lot of thoughts Point Is chiaotzu’s great and i wish he was appreciated more not only for his fighting potential but just the fact he actually appears like a very sweet and funny guy when he’s allowed to show his personality (not to mention i’ll always piss myself laughing at how ominous he is during the 22nd)

but as in All of DB??? daaaaawg you know that one a tough one for meeee i love a lot of the old cast. though i guess if i was held at gun point i’d probably have to say bora and upa are probably one of the most underrated sets of characters Ever. i can’t even properly explain it all technical and shit i just think they’re really neat and interesting characters LMAO like i love them so much- it would’ve been great to see the mates more involved in the series or at least have the gang say hi once in a while (i get that they really can’t venture too far from korin’s tower but i mean why’s that at this point everyone just hops up there nowadays). upa was such a delight and a lil baby sweetheart in db and it was so nice to see him for a split second at the beginning of z. and bora like. dawg i cant explain it i just think he neat i just think he cool LMAO

see dawg this is why it’s hard for me like there’s so many cool and underappreciated characters that i adore so much. i get why the likes of bora and upa and namu aren’t talked about as much they don’t really do much past their intended purposes but still i guess i just personally really enjoyed them. Random Tenkaichi Budokai Headcanons:

-In addition to the prize money, every winner receives their own championship belt. Tien and Goku are the only champions to not receive belts due to the tumultuous events following the 22nd and 23rd Budokais, respectively.

-Promotional photos of the champion are usually taken a few hours after the final match when the prize money is awarded. Goku is the only champion to not have promotional photos taken. Photos were taken of Tien but were never released due to Krillin's murder at the hands of Tambourine.

-The announcer's name is Ken. While he is on friendly terms with members of the Dragon Team and knows the truth about the Cell Games, he is often not invited to Capsule Corp functions because nobody can remember his name.

-While the majority of the modern Budokais have been filmed, the 24th Budokai is the first to be widely televised. Prior to this, official broadcasts were aired on syndicated television or radio. Many fans have also recorded their own footage.

-Bootleg tape trading of fan recordings of previous Budokais is a pastime among super fans who often manage to find different perspectives and angles of their favorite matches.

-While most casual Budokai fans consider Mr. Satan to be the GOAT, many diehard fans still prefer previous fighters like Goku, Jackie Chun, and Tien. There is also a growing number of younger fans who love to revisit the fights from the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd Budokais.

-There is growing skepticism among super fans as to Mr. Satan's role in the Cell Games.

-There is a Budokai Network which airs the previous Tenkaichi Budokais along with original content like interviews, documentaries, pre/post shows for the new Budokais, and of course, a reality series featuring Mr. Satan. Whenever the network requests an interview or to use the likeness of any member of the Dragon Team, it must be vetted and approved by Capsule Corp's legal team.

-Yamcha sometimes appears in documentaries as a talking head due to his experience in previous Budokais and his historical knowledge of the sport.

-There is a convention that occurs the day before every Tenkaichi Budokai called Budokon. Fans can buy merchandise, trade tapes, and do meet and greets with previous competitors. Frequent guests usually include Bacterian, Giran, Ranfan, Man Wolf, Panput, Jewel, Mighty Mask, Killa, and King Chappa.

-Panput is notorious for overcharging fans for photos and autographs. Also, do not mention Goku or Mr. Satan in his presence.

-There is a Tenkaichi Budokai Hall of Fame where former champions, competitors, and other notable figures are inducted. Notable inductees include Mr. Satan, Goku, Tien, Jackie Chun, King Chappa, Krillin, Yamcha, and Namu. Goku, Jackie Chun, and Tien, did not attend their own respective ceremonies due to their whereabouts being unknown. Yamcha and Krillin are the only members of the Dragon Team to attend their own HOF inductions.

-Ranfan is the first female fighter to be inducted into the HOF, followed by Chi Chi and 18.

THE THING ABOUT THE PSEUDO CELL JRS ON MONSTER ISLAND

The DBS manga doesnt even call these creatures "Cell Jrs." They are called "Pseudo Cell Jrs." And use the words "perhaps" & "maybe." This simply means that this is a what-if idea of Toyotaro.

If the Cell Jrs. did have regenerative capabilities, then the RR Army would've tried to locate them ASAP. Yet, they didn't. Not only that, but if they were capable of regeneration, then they could've regenerated soon after Gohan destroyed them to help Cell attack Gohan. Plus everyone at the Cell Games would've noticed them & sensed them. Yet that did not happen because they cannot regenerate.

So them being on this island makes no sense. Its just Toyotaro wanting to draw Cell Jrs.

The idea of the Cell Jrs. possess similar abilities like Cell came from a video games. All we were shown is that they were weaker & smaller versions of Cell who couldn't handle a single hit from SSJ2 Gohan while Perfect Cell could. (Kinda similar to King Piccolo's mutant children being weaker than him & lacking certain Namekian abilities.)

This is just like how Toyo's bonus page of King Chappa training Uub isn't canon & those pages ARE NOT meant to be taken seriously. These bonus pages & bonus stories are simply Toyotaro thinking up what-if ideas.

And the bonus page of Bardock's crew. When translated, Toyotaro uses "Just an idea" "could've" & "would've." Nothing concrete. These are just his ideas for fun & these ideas ARE NOT to be taken seriously at all.

SIDE NOTE:

This inclusion of these Pseudo Cell Jrs is stupid because 17 could've gotten his own niece killed.

Its said by 17 that the Pseudo Cell Jrs dont attack Rangers. And Marron wasn't wearing a Ranger outfit.

And even though Goten & Trunks were wearing ranger outfits, they were still attacked. Why did they attack ppl wearing the Ranger outfits? Why didn't they attack Marron? A better way would've been for Goten & Trunks to be in their gi while Marron is in the ranger outfit. The Pseudo Cell Jrs. attack Goten & Trunks since they aren't in uniform. Then, Marron yells for the Pseudo Cell Jrs to stop & they listen to the person in the ranger uniform.

Also... These Pseudo Cell Jrs. would have been desteoyed when Buu destroyed all life and later the planet. They are evil like Cell, so they wouldn't get wished back when Dende made a wish for everyone to come back except the really bad people.

Another thing is that it doesn't make sense for the Pseudo Cell Jrs. to be tamed by 17. One single Cell Jr. could defeat SSJ Grade 2 Vegeta with ease. 17 was weaker than SSJ Grade 2 & he wouldn't be able to fight 7 Cell Jrs. and tame them.

Regardless... Nothing here makes any sense. As expected of Toyotaro.

here a few for you!

Uub has incredible Middle child energy, and was born like any other human. before he began actually training with other super beings like Goku and the Z fighters, he was slightly afraid to fight because. Dear god This 11 year old is reportedly as strong as Good Buu is. that must be strange and confusing for a little boy surrounded by regular humans, I can see him being afraid to spar even with king Chappa, his teacher

He didn't realize he had a sweet tooth when he was small, not having access to any sugar high desserts, but became pretty hooked once he ate dinner with Gokus family the first time. That ol Buu desire for candy is ingrained Deep

When he was little, he was unknowingly using his God Ki in many small ways that people didn't realize at first. But theres a few plants around his village that certainly don't exist anywhere else in the universe, brought about by the dreamings of a small boy, extinct planets dancing in visions, by his own hand that come out into drawings in the dirt, and then to life when he isn't looking

DBZ, rewritten

while i was brainstorming about my own main au, "From Eden", i was also thinking about a rewritten version of db, another AU i'd like to write someday but for now i just summarized it. you can read it under the divisor!

premise: there aren't ocs or too many headcanons of mine, just some ideas i thought they would've been cool to see instead of the plot we have now. i removed some things but i also inserted some new things i thought they would've been interesting. i didn't add moro or granola's sagas for some reasons i'll explain better later. hope you like it!

Until Frieza Saga, DB-DBZ stays as it is. But, from Chapter 330 of the manga things start changing. Mecha Frieza doesn’t exist, Future Trunks only comes (with a mask on his face) to warn Goku about the heart virus, then goes back to the future.

Although the warning, Goku carelessly dies anyway. Piccolo still trains Gohan and lives with him, the Ox King and ChiChi, who’s pregnant. After the Androids defeat, Piccolo trains Gohan at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, making him transform into Super Saiyan for the first time. Thus, as in canon, Gohan transforms into Super Saiyan 2 and defeats Cell.

For the 25th World Tournament (and so Majin Buu saga) Goku comes back to Earth for 24 hours and meets Goten for the first time. Goku tries to fight against Majin Buu, but he doesn’t stand a chance against him and is defeated. Goku and Piccolo train Goten and Trunks to make them fuse into Gotenks who, with Vegito’s help, tries to defeat Super Buu, but they get absorbed in the process. All of this happens while Gohan is trained by Shin and Old Kai, who awakens his potential and thus gains a part of Godly Ki. Shin and Kibito use their Potara earring to fuse into Kibitoshin, and helps Gohan to defeat Kid Buu. All the lives get resurrected, Gohan chooses to train with Shin on the Sacred World of Kai, becoming a Supreme Kai apprentice next to Kibito. Yet, still lives on Earth and marries Videl.

At Age 778, Bulma organizes her birthday party. At the same time, Beerus wakes up after his 39 years of slumber to look for the Super Saiyan God. After knowing there is a Saiyan with a glimpse of Godly Ki, he travels to the Sacred World of Kai, looking for Gohan. He isn’t there, so Kibitoshin tells him he shouldn’t disturb his apprentice while he’s on Earth—but Beerus goes there anyway. Vegeta tries to stop him, but he, along with Android 18, Piccolo and Gotenks, is defeated. Beerus only wants to fight Gohan, thus he chooses to try to fight him only with his Unlocked Potential. At a certain point of their fight, Gohan is able to transform into Super Saiyan God, leaving Kibitoshin speechless. After their fight ends in a tie, the birthday party continues and Gohan acknowledges he will be a father.

For formal reasons, Kibitoshin decides to unfuse and Shin continues to work as Supreme Kai, still having Gohan as his student. Since ChiChi has a lot of potential because of her demon origins, Shin chooses to train her, as well as Whis decides to help Gohan with his training too. During Gohan’s training, Vados and Champa pay Beerus a visit. Vados finds out Universe 6’s Earthlings are extinct, thus Champa wants Universe 7’s Earth for himself. They decide to do a Tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7, where Gohan meets Hit and Cabba for the first time. Gohan doesn’t need to transform into Super Saiyan God, until he fights against Hit and reaches Super Saiyan Blue, leaving Beerus and Shin surprised. Universe 7 wins and, like in canon, Beerus wishes for Universe 6’s Earthlings to be alive. In the same period, Gohan knows Zen’Oh due to one of the gods’ reunions.

At Age 780, Gohan realizes his daughter is starting to mysteriously develop some Ki alone and when he asks Shin to check her, he says she has definitely taken it from him. Gowasu and Zamasu pay Shin a visit and Gohan sees Kibito training with Zamasu for the first time. Zamasu, though, notices Gohan and thinks he’s even more powerful than Kibito--when he sees ChiChi being trained by Shin as well, he starts despising mortals even more and tries to attack ChiChi in front of Gowasu. When Gohan surprisingly blocks him, they start a battle that ends in a tie because both Gowasu and Shin forcibly stop them. When they return to Universe 10, like in canon, Gowasu makes Zamasu see the Babarian population from afar, but Zamasu kills one of them and his master tells him not to do it anymore as they return back home. A new Time Ring is created and when Shin notices it, Gohan starts wondering if it’s because of Zamasu like he previously thought when ChiChi was attacked. Gowasu returns to Universe 7, telling Shin that Zamasu disappeared. In fact, Whis finds out Zamasu has collected all the Super Dragon Balls to wish his body to be immortal. Piccolo and Dende confirm Zamasu is coming back and plans to destroy all humans. Gohan prepares for the fight, as well as Gotenks, while Bulma, Whis and Beerus watch them. During the fight, Gotenks is seriously wounded and Gohan’s Super Saiyan God transformation fades, while Zamasu’s body starts corrupting due to an overcharge of energy. Shin teleports both Gowasu and ChiChi with him, she surprisingly attacks him with the Z-Sword--that only Gohan was able to wield. Zamasu is finally wounded, but with Bulma’s plan, Beerus is able to kill him with his Hakai.

In the meantime, Dende tells Goku about Uub. So Goku teleports to the Sacred World of Kai to tell Shin about him. When Shin acknowledges Uub is actually Kid Buu’s reincarnation, he first thinks he could be a menace--but probably isn’t since he’s good. Gohan brings him to Mr. Satan’s house and meets Majin Buu, who apparently can take the form of the Grand Supreme Kai. Both Shin and the Grand Supreme Kai travel to find Uub, who’s currently training with King Chappa. Shin offers to fight Uub, and surprisingly finds out the child has a great potential. The Grand Supreme Kai is aware of the fact Uub is holding part of his power and suggests him to train with the two deities.

Twelve years later, Pan is thirteen years old and follows the same training as Gohan, who’s now the new Supreme (Demi)Kai. Shin, having now the rank of Grand Supreme Kai, is watching them through the training and Beerus wonders if Pan will ever be as strong as her father, Shin thinks the same about Bra, since she’s trained by Beerus and Whis. Bulma kept the Dragon Balls for another birthday party, but when she and the rest of the group summon Shenlong, a black dragon appears to explain the Dragon Balls have been overused, so they now have a negative energy within them. The Dragon Balls separate into several deities, thus Beerus suggests to send Pan, Bra and Uub to defeat the Shadow Dragons and recover the Dragon Balls in their normal state. Bra is the one who drives the ship, so she decides where to go first. The dragons are all pretty much the same as in canon, but the trio will fight against the last three evil dragons, Uub fights against San Shenlong, Bra against Shu Shenlong, while Pan fights against Omega Shenlong, unlocking her potential as her father did. Once they defeat the dragons, the Dragon Balls return back to normal. Shenlong asks Pan if she wants to train with him, but she refuses and says she soon wants to become Supreme Kai as Gohan did.

I want a picture of PackRat with Angelik , Ella Diabla /PR-R63 , Bradley, Dru-Scylla, Chesh , Scorpia , and Cancer  all together like a movie poster or a team pose like the Ginyu Force did, but not as flamboyant since this team is at least more than 50% made up of females!   The exact position of each character I've not decided on yet. I don't want it to be based on a preexisting one from the show or movies. I do want it to showcase all the characters as much as possible with as little of them being overlapped and hiding parts of one another. Now, on to the new character designs. Since these are my characters set in the DBZ-universe or a variant of it they're designs will be changed somewhat to fit in more with the Akira Toriyama art style. 1.) PackRat, I kind of want 2 different versions of him. In the DBZ universe there are lots of characters with more than 1 form. Normally a base or calm form and then a powered up full strength battle form. Sometimes even 4-5 forms but I'm going to keep it simple of just the 2. Starting form he is lien built a lot like Frieza's Final Form when he 1st transforms into that form or more like Imperfect Cell's build.   He's wearing a full head covering helmet/mask like a mix of Gohan's Great Saiyaman helmet but minus the visor and with a mouth guard/shield something like what Cooler has in his final from and Cunber's.     He is wearing a wrecked up and broken old suit of Saiyan Armor the kind seen on Cooler's Armored Squadron with the single shoulder pad on the left side.  He's got the collar of a God of Destruction uniform around his shoulders. There's a large hole in the middle of the armor exposing PR's chest symbol with his portal generator. He still has his harness with his swords and shield across his chest.   His cyborg left arm is just like Mecha-Frieza's but with PR's signature 6th finger .  Here's the biggest new change to PR is his right arm is based on Perfect Cell's organic armored arm design with the shoulder horn/spike of Porunga, but with only 4 digits on the hand which will be covered in his calm state with Saiyan Armor gloves but in his traditional colors. He is wearing a pair of God of Destruction pants/bottoms with the sash. With the Majin belt buckle! His boots are a lot like the Angel'sbut with PR's colors. Finally for PR's tail it'll be like Frieza's in his 2nd Form but with out the stripe/lines running the length of it. Now for PR's final form design he gains a lot of mass and muscle and he bulks up to be roughly the same build as Broly but his body is hairy now like a Super Saiyan 4 but green and all. Because of his head getting bigger his Helmet is now gone but his humanoid face is gone and is replaced with a more animal like rat face like Quitela. but with whiskers like Shenron's  and lots of piercings. He hair his also a lot like a Super Saiyan 3'ssame color even. He's got an Angel's halo around his neck.   Also because of the transformation his gloves are gone and we see his bare right hand. and his knuckles are spiked like Xicor His boots too are now gone and we see his bare feet are a lot like Frieza's race's feet or a Great Ape's feet but with long talons. PR's wings are still part of his feet as well. 2.) Angelik, she for the most part will remain unchanged just a basic translation into the DBZ art style. Her design will mostly be built on a Saiyan female like Gine with her cat tail wrapped around her waist and the armor on over her Angel uniform. Her angelic wings will be like Angel Goku's. Her face will be like a normal human's but with a small cat nose. She'll also keep her halo even though she isn't dead as per what it means in the anime/manga. She i also wearing her collar and bell. 3.)Ella Diabla/PR-R63,she'll have a slightly more toned build than Angelik with it being based more on Fasha's build. Since her physical form is just a female counter part to PR her features will be reminiscent of his such as his tail, winged ankles, hand-like feet, rodent-like ears, and in this universe both her arms will have the exoskeleton design of Cell's just like PR's right arm. Now she sorta has a 2nd form but it's a shadow/demon form she projects from her body as a mental attack and it looks like Kale with large bat-like wings like those of Tambourine. As for her clothing in her physical form she's dress in a costume similar to Android 21.  Her demon form wears only a body hugging suit a lot like the one Towawares. As for her face both forms have the same facial feature as one another the only difference is her physical form has PR's logo painted/tattoo over it. Her hair style should be the same in both forms and based on Videl'spigtails. 4.) Bradley's a smaller built character with a height and build like Chiaotzu. His skin texture and head should be more like Bibbidi or Bobbidi. He should have horns like Captain Ginyuand the head veins too for good measure. His ears should be like Piccolo's but with earrings. His clothing should be more like Android 19's or Dr. Kyuuas he is PR's science officer/mechanic/doctor. The big thing I want is both his feet are missing with only a tiny bit bone showing out of the stumps like a piece of roasted meat. He gets around by hovering around with his Ki a lot like most smaller characters in DBZ. 5.) Chesh, he is an odd case for this group. His body type is effeminate but he is male so might base his body shape on Bullaas she appeared in GT. Like Angelik he should have ears like or Puar'sor Beerus. His horns should be like Chilled's. As for his goat-like legs Yakon is the only ref. Chesh's 2 tails will be like the Saiyan's tails but he won't wrap them around himself like they do or like Angelik. His costume will be again like Chirai's  Saiyan Armor. His over all though appearance and posing will be based more around Schrodingerfrom Hellsing style. 6 and 7.) Scorpia and Cancer these 2 are going to sort of count as one for this list. They're both cyborgs with their machine parts resembling Cacao's and Mecha-Frieza/Coola's.   Their torsos are compose like Android 16's but of coarse female.   The only differences between the 2 are Scorpia is taller than Cancer (similar to how Goku is taller than Krillin), Scorpia has 4 arms (she ha her 2 normal human arms mounted on her ribs just blow her breast level and mounted where her normal arms should be are 2 larger machine arms like Dr. Wheelo's)  where as Cancer only has 2 (with only her left arm being like Wheelo's ), Scorpia has her normal legs except for her left foot which is mechanical and Cancer's whole left leg is mechanical and looks just like her left arm , Scorpia's color scheme being orange and Cancer's is red, Scorpia has a large tail like Mecha-Frieza's and Cancer doesn't have one at all, Scorpia has short cropped hair like Vegeta in GTand Cancer has longer hair like Bad Launch in DB, and finally Scorpia has a mostly machine face like Meta-Cooler (aka the Big Gete Star Core) while Cancer has a normal head with just an eye patch over her left eye.   8.) Dru-Scylla, The head is a hybrid mixture of a Hammerhead Shark's and Monster Shark. With a mixture of a boat prop and a drill bit on her nose like the character Slash from Street Sharks. 4 catfish-like whiskers; 2 short ones in the front and 2 extremely long ones in the back: Curly hair that resembles a sea anemone! A torso like the female Turtle: Four muscular arms like King Chappa but with fused fingered flipper hands like the Batman Returns Penguin! Fin-like wings on her back between her arms and her tortoise shell. The legs and feet should be like those's of Namekian Frog(Ginyu)! Between the legs are 2 flippers The 2nd torso on her back is that of a teen girl with mermaid themed features: with a cephalopod for the back of her head after her hairline like the Female Boos! They share a long muscular eel-like tail similar to Porunga's that ends in a sting-ray Their costumes should be Fusion uniform , but minus the pants. The 2nd torso's on her back her uniform is more like Jerez Lastly I'd like to compose the stances/setup/whatever. I'm thinking more the poster setup with PR in the middle hovering off the ground in his calm form using his ankle wings for lift instead of using his Ki. Angelik is standing the closest to him on his right hovering/flying off the ground like she just took off using her wings too. Next closest to PR is Bradley who is using his Ki to hover off of PR's left. Chesh is on the ground below the others in a more cat like pose with a long chain leash lead from his neck to either PR or maybe Ella. Ella's physical form is standing on the ground or is hovering just a few inches off the grounds will her wings and she has her energy(Ki) up and is projecting her demon form out and from her self upwards to join the others in the sky. Ella is also off toward PR's left side with her demon form being closer to Bradley than PR himself. with Ella's form demon form appearing. Scorpia and Cancer are both in the same standing poses with their hands to their hips (Scorpia's human hands are on her hips while her large robot arms are resting at her sides) on opposite sides of PR. In movie poster terms they'd be in the bottom corners more in the back ground than the others. Dru-Scylla is to replace my Ex's character in the reference image!  the pose should be more a side angled T&A pose so both torsos are seen! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php… And finally up above them all in the upper sky we see PR's final form in a charging up full on battle stance.I'd like 2 pieces in My Hero Academia(僕のヒーローアカデミア Boku no Hīrō Akademia) art style.   1.) My main OC PackRat. 2.) My Mockmaid sea-creature, Dru-Scylla! Both pieces I want in the style of a character profile sheet!  So 3-4 full-body pictures per-character with a few close up head-shots! 1 Full-body front pose in school uniform, 1 Full-body front-angle pose in gym/swimming uniform, 1 Full-body front-angle pose in hero/villain uniform, 1 Full-body back pose in hero/villain uniform, 1 unmasked head-shot, 1 masked head-shot, and 1 emotional head-shot! I got a list of character references and parts I want for each character that I'd like!   For Dru-Scylla: The head is a hybrid mixture of a Hammerhead Shark's and the 1st Nomu.  with the Nomu's metal lips. With a mixture of a boat prop and a drill bit on her nose like the character Slash from Street Sharks. Sirius's Good Ears: 4 catfish-like whiskers; 2 short ones in the front and 2 extremely long ones in the back that end in earphone jacks: Curly hair that resembles a sea anemone! A torso like the female Ninja Turtle: Four muscular arms like Fourth Kind but with fused fingered flipper hands like the Batman Returns Penguin! Fin-like wings on her back between her arms and her tortoise shell. For this version they should resemble the wings of the High-End Nomu's Shoulder-Mounted Jets: High-End has shoulder-mounted jets which can allow him to hover in the air and fly!   The legs and feet should be like those's of Froppy(Tsuyu Asui)!  Well, when bare footed her feet here should look just like slightly oversized webbed humanoid feet. They share a long muscular eel-like tail that ends in a sting-ray that ends in a electric plug stinger: Their profession costumes(hero/villain) should have goggles over the shark eyes that looks like Tsu's  a full-body wet-suit like Selkie's , but more revealing like BubbleGirl's with an animal/scaly print pattern like  the leggings/boots being more like Tsu's as for the 2nd torso's on her back her uniform is more like Midnight's but with a breathing helmet that looks like's  Ochako Uraka's !! Now for PR's design! 1st one of them in their school uniform looking like a combo of Tokoyami and Shoji  in that he’s got an animal head and aesthetic with a mouth and nose obscuring mask.  He should also be missing his left arm at half way between the elbow and sholder with the sleeve pinned rolled up. 2nd of in the UA Gym uniform showing off more of his unique physiology like his tail , winged ankles , finger-like toes, reptilian right arm  which is more muscular and larger, his left arm is a cyborg prosthetic, the light of his chest reactor shining through the fabric of his shirt, ect…  Maybe here we can have like his mugshot showing his un-hidden face and he looks like a Nomu mixed with Principal Nezu.3rd one is him in his Hero costume which mostly is his costumes in his reference images above but made to look more like how it’d translate to the BNHA style. His mask is much more stylized like the plague doctors mask worn by Eight Precepts of Death mixed with Toga’s  gas mask, he’s hot his top hat, harness, 3 different types of swords on his back, a war-hammer on his belt, a Spartan-style shield on one arm, pouches, a single knee pad, combat boots, ect… Basically he’d gravitate more towards Snipe or Midnight as a mentors over All Might unlike Izuku! His hero costume would have elements of BDSM gear and military gear.
