none of them knew the wormhole could spit out just whatever it felt like, not until now; even with what Tangent had been claiming when she wasn't cooped up in her lab that it couldn't. nothing does not create something. there is always a reason. they'd been yet to find a reason, a good one, anyway. some, like Cal, just accepted and welcomed the bot. others, like Anemone and Solane were a little more wary. some were tearing their hair out trying to figure out where he came from, and how ━ spearheaded by Tangent herself and Instance, predictably.

The first theories were that the Heliopause harbored an AI piloted drone which was lost during going through the wormhole, but the Helios answered unhesitatingly that they didn't have anything of the sort ━ their technology was advanced compared to the Stratospheric, but their AI was feeble in comparison despite their pride; they could make the body, maybe, but they didn't, and even if they did they couldn't have made the AI as intelligent as he proved he was ( 'bordering on human' was the first thing Vace had said when seeing him, and Tangent was beginning to realize that that sentiment wasn't as far off as they might've expected. )

The next theory had been that he was sent from Earth alongside the Heliopause, or shortly after, but the timing didn't work, and neither did the story; he was from Earth, but there was no Copper-9, at least not in Earth's recently remembered galactic history and definitely not in Vertumna's, and while N was a pilot, there'd been no craft with him as far as they could find, even if there was the timing of which he must've left earth and arrived, using the Heliopause and Stratospheric for reference didn't match. ━ so many questions, and a never-ending list of contradictions.

━ they were still looking for answers, the how and why and when, but roughly, everyone had acquainted themselves with living alongside the robot, began becoming friends with him ; it was easier than had first been expected, especially when Vace discovered his combat capability. ━ Cal, on the other hand, was more interested in him himself! forget the technicalities, this could be a new buddy, and he could only imagine how jarring all of this was to begin with, too... he wanted to be a minor source of stability for him, if he could be at all. something simple. something easy. i struggled a lot w tumblr bc i kept wanting to give him a very flamboyant over the top look, but it just wouldn’t suit a rave. i started with a cowboy look for some reason and then i was like…no… i didn’t wanna make him look too basic, but at the same time i had no idea how to incorporate his usual style into it. i just wanted to keep the glasses and hi tops.

for twitter, i was gonna do something w feathers but its so hard to find inspo…so i went with the x theming instead. ig the goggles could be seen as pilot goggles? if he were still blue then he could have a flashy feathery look (tho it might be the same problem as tumblr).

discord’s outfit is two of his normal outfits razz designed mashed together, with the addition of a couple things. i thought it matched twitch a bit. i kinda wanted to do something original, but discord kinda already dresses like that so i took the easy way out.

Lately I've been kinda swamped with fic commitments and rushing stuff last-minute (my own fault ofc 😅) writing mostly romance, so now im just itching to go back to my platonic stuff! nothing against romance, im enjoying writing it for sure, but god i can't wait to work on my Steve Henderson au again

for now tho the probably-never-to-be-written worms are about Steve bunking with the Buckleys post s4. maybe his parents just never came home, maybe they were there and had a big blowup argument with Steve about leaving, but they're not around now and Robins not about to let Mr Walking-Sepsis-Risk live alone for the apocalypse

in my head i imagine the buckleys house is kinda like max's before s4, a smaller 1-story but cozy, and no guest room so Steve stays in Robin's room.

her parents let them but they're definitely a little wary and a little lost but at least a little used to it, both thanking whatever power they believe in that no matter how freakishly clingy they are now, its still world's better than the violently freakishly clingy stobin was right after starcourt, when both of them looked to be hanging on by a thread and that thread was each other.

so they're like. chill. they plow through an awkward conversation about how bad an idea it would be to be up to something right now with steves injuries and robin sees herself out like halfway through, piling all the old stuffed animal onto her bed and keeping them there for the next week to avoid thinking about it. And Steve, abandoned by his partner in crime, stumbles through his own awkward explanation along the lines of 'you don't have to worry about that, i promise' before joining Robin in her embarrassed cringing-party, featuring notable guests such as Mr. Cat, Doodles, and Floppsy Bunny.

Not much of a plot in my head really, I'm just enjoying all the vague ideas floating around this premise. theres lots of details about Steve and his wounds, like wearing button downs that are easier to put on than pull-overs, Mr. Buckley letting him borrow some when Steve only finds a couple (or when he packs his normal clothes not realizing how miserable itd be to take them on and off constantly to check how things are healing).

Also Steve helping around the house and the Buckley's getting to know him better and not just the Polite Steve that they usually see because Steve couldn't risk his best friends parents not liking him (and because usually robin would go to his house, its a lot easier to sneak out than it is to smuggle someone in, especially with freaky upside down nightmares). Maybe Steve gets to actually joke around with Robin's dad, talk real shit with her mom (maybe about the future, hippie mom offering a different perspective on what life can be, how you can figure things out, just try things even if you don't have a perfect plan)

Steve finding safety not just with Robin, but with Robins family. the four of them growing this sweet relationship, not like a second child for the buckleys but more like a second home for Steve. stobin are firmly strange best friends to me (as opposed to siblings), and i like the dynamic of steve and robin's parents as 'my kids best friend' type stuff, not cause there's any less love but more like they're not trying to replace Steve's parents, they just end up filling in the gaps.

JJK ending sucks but what's new

The only ppl who will see this have already heard me complain but I'm gonna do it AGAIN 😈

jjk has always kinda been a mid shonen type thing but I usually like them so I wanted to watch it. I watched the first season when it released and it good but it wasn't good enough to get me reading the manga.

Then s2 came out and I kind of absorbed a lot of content through social media osmosis and it seemed pretty interesting. I only ended up watching it cuz one of my new friends watched it and another one also wanted to watch it so we watched it together in school while the teachers would side eye us 😓

I actually kind of liked it. I genuinely love a lot of the characters, like I think they're interesting in a ton of ways but sadly most of it never got explored. Most of the charas didn't get actual arcs and for the ones that did, it never felt finished or it would just feel so half baked. The plot has an endless amount of loose threads it's not even funny.

More than the actual media itself I enjoyed the process of consuming it. I loved searching up the leaks every Thursday with my friend and the fandom was funny asf too.

The fights were great too, and that's probably the only reason I found s2 to be so entertaining. But I feel like most of that credit goes to the animators and shit instead of Gege himself.

As much as I hate on the aot ending, this ending is WAYY worse. If you ignore the aot ending, the rest of the show can definitely stand on its own. The ending might even be good if you view it through a different perspective.

But jjk doesn't have that. The ending itself isn't bad. It's just that the series feels so incomplete which is what makes it so shit. I haven't seen a single person say it's good so far which rlly says smth. Can't wait for some fans to come along and be like "erm u just didn't understand the story ☝️🤓"

I don't even wanna get into all the details on why the series sucks cuz there's way too many I can list. But the main reason I hate the ending is cuz the series had SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

The characters and themes and plot were pretty good, they just needed to be explored more and it never happened and it sucks so much cuz it could've been so great and actually have smth to say.

Maybe I expected too much from a series called Sorcery Fight because there were indeed sorcerers fighting and that's pretty much it.

I might be wrong for criticizing it so much considering I haven't even read most of the manga. I just started skimming leaks every week after Gojo died like most ppl did and skipped over the previous arcs (although I did look at summaries) so maybe it'll be different if I actually read all of it at once but I doubt it. Maybe the pacing would be slightly better but that's it.

I just get mad whenever I think of what could've been. I genuinely hope someone rewrites it and does it justice even tho I'll prolly never read it.

It's just another case of "this piece of media would've been so good if it was actually good."

He is a prankster

If you watch him carefully in camp

He causes more mayhem than Lenny or John, or Javier anyone, but he's sneaky about it

So hardly anyone ever realizes its him

But if you watch closely enough

You'll see him do the most hilarous things

Some pranks are smaller than others

Some are bigger

Like theres differences

Sometimes he tosses herbs into the camp pot that'll make the stew spicy

And then he'll sit back and watch everyone panic and rush around for drinks to quell the fire

Or he'll wait until camp is practically empty and unscrew one of the chair legs (usually the ones that Dutch likes to use)

And wait until he can catch Dutch taking a seat

He acts like he doesnt see it

But you can see him holding back kaughter to the point where he almost cries.

He didnt have a pillow before you moved in with him

And you made him get one

You also made him get a bigger and comfier cot because he's been sleeping on pretty much a sheet of plywood for like 15 years

If he cuts himself while shaving you make fun of him but kiss the spot (even though you know thst won't heal it and he does too, but he likes the idea of you healing his ailments)

He makes you get a professional photo done so he can put it on his nightstand and you only agree if he's willing to take a picture with you

He doesnt want to at first

But he's fine after you convince him

By telling him he could fuck you anyway he likes that night

(which I mean usually he does anyway, but the idea of you with your back arched and hands tied behind your back with your face in the pillow does things to him)

He takes the picture with you

Jack likes Arthur more than you

But he always asks for Uncle Arthur's help rather than Aunt Y/N

Arthur picks you up from behind and kisses your neck sometimes before dropping you, smacking your ass, and running away

Usually he hopes that you'll chase him

He loves it if you catch him and push him to the ground to kiss him

He'll lose it

He'll probably fall asleep if you massage him though

I think I know it might not be my art because I can't remember drawing f!Leo using portals. I think I've only ever drawn f!Leo with a training sword or with the sword he uses in the movie. This concept sounds familiar though, I can't lie.

Like, I imagine there's like...dust particles and electricity and static and it all looks busy and chaotic. Meanwhile peepaw looking all badass and swinging his swords around, maybe for the last time before he loses his ninpo all together. I mean- just the concept itself is really cool and interesting.
