I need to know everything about whatever’s going on with mayor creep darling (mcd for short I guess?)’s world rn what is going on in that town!!! (If you’re feeling up for it of course!)

Nobody really knows what's going on in this place - As majority of the residents see it - it's a normal town same as any other.... If you consider creepy mailmen, cannibal mannequins and the like to be normal. Every odd month or so, a new resident is moved into town. If one were to pay close attention, they might assume a new person appears every time anothet dies, but that may not be the case as there have been a few instances of "overpopulation" - meaning one or more residents are without an assigned home. In those situations...well, they'd better pray their neighbor is kind enough to lend them a spot on their couch until another home is vacant or sprouts up.

Death isn't always the end for some of the humans who live here. Reader's next door neighbor happens to be a zombie that died in a particular way that they....don't like to talk about. The town is chalk full of bizarre folks. Some want to live life as humanly as possible - others would rather eat and/or butcher their neighbors.

Every year there is an election for mayor and until Reader arrived the same asshole won every year. Everyone hated that guy - nobody even knows why they counted to vote for him. Reader quickly gains the favor of some pretty important figures around town such as the headless secretary they give a head to and their other neighbor - the weird doll lady who thinks she's a real doll and may or may not be in control of the aforementioned cannibal mannequins who brings her "friends" for her parties.

There's lots of fun people in town like her-

There's a group of slashers who act more like fratbros/kids at a slummer party than anything - alongside more serious killers who probably won't let their prey off the hook no matter how many cans of beer they attempt to bribe them with

I mentioned a praying mantis guy in a suit at one point which I think was originally going to be the secretary at some point - but now he's more like their body guard because it's literally just a giant praying mantis that eats people.

That weird mailperson who sometimes writes X's on peoples mailboxes. It's by pure coincidence the people who live in the house end up dead or missing within a weeks time.

"Frankie" - he's not one of the fun one, actually. Everyone kinda sorta hates Frankie. That asshole...

And many more as I think about what's to come - not to mention all the real "normal" humans who just want to go home.

Please, please, please let me know if this interests you guys at all. I love hearing you guys' feedback and I absolutely adore Mayor Creep with how little fucks they give about all of the horrors unfolding around them.

Seeing what you commented about his booking photo is something I think about almost daily... I wonder if he was crying right before it was taken. Mind you, that's a suicide vest they have on him.

I’m sorry, that’s a fucking WHAT!?! I thought that was just some sorta weird exam gown for when they do their full body searches and shit (imagining him getting cavity searched literally haunts me. Idk if that’s something they would’ve done then or if they do that when you’re actually convicted and sentenced? I could google it but I’m already typing this out and too lazy to switch screens)

They said at the time of arrest he started shaking really bad. Some people took that as “oh yeah he was obviously scared because he did it and knew he got caught.” (Sorry anon I know this is kinda going WAY off but I was thinking about this last night).

So two cops approached him at McDs and asked he pull down his mask. He complied. They asked for ID. He gave them the fake ID he’d used in the hostile. Why? IMO, it was to avoid being matched with his real name to any missing persons reports put out by his family and I’m sure he knew they’d put one out. THEN they asked if he’d been to NY recently. Obviously he had. And he obviously knew about the shooting that’d just happened. So the gears start turning in his head that ‘oh shit they think I’M the guy?!’

Now he realizes he just gave them a fake ID and the same ID he’d used in NY at that. He knows that’s gonna look really REALLY bad.

They cuff him and lead him off which is when I believe they search his belongings and find all the “evidence”.

So yeah I can absolutely imagine him BAWLING because he went from trying to simply avoid his family and figure himself out on his own to now being accused of the MURDER of a CEO. And I’m sure he was well aware they’d planted that “evidence” but that now it was his word against theirs and that’s gotta be a helpless feeling. He screwed up with the ID. Somebody pointed out if he had given them a different ID (fake or otherwise) they wouldn’t have had reason to search him cause the name wouldn’t have been the same as the one at the hostile. I don’t think he was worried about that because at that initial moment he probably never assumed they were coming to him as a murder suspect.

The damage that’s been done to this poor boy is irreversible. The PTSD he will no doubt inevitably suffer is something he’ll probably live the rest of his life with. He’s gonna have such a hard time trusting ANYBODY. His dating life was stagnant before all this, it’ll be completely dead afterward. I wanna hold out hope that since he has seen all the support he’s been given that that’ll help him reintegrate back into society a little easier. And yes I’m gonna talk about this as though he’ll be found not guilty and released. Cause as of right now he is Not Guilty. It is up to the prosecuting team to PROVE his guilt, not the other way around.

Again, apologies for such a long-winded reply. I was stewing on this thought for a bit.

I went all in on the artwork for the “Gathering Storm” painted by Ivan Aivazovsky. IYKYK. This is my typeset for those soft hearted souls, where you may choose to stop at 92% where “they live happily ever after” or you can continue to heartbreak and depression and eventual kinda sorta catharsis. My chapter headers changed to full black with black edges to delineate the moment of no return.

I wanted to highlight the nautical side of the artwork, and when I saw this fabric months ago, I knew I needed it for this bind. HTV was a bitch (when is it not?) but it turned out lovely in contrast to the bookcloth. The dust jacket in contrast is black and white to highlight the pink sticky note on the back cover but also to tie into the last few chapters. You know in video games when a character dies and the screen fades to black? I wanted to evoke the sense of loss, of missing the color in the world because that loss is so great. Art that’s not quite art because you’re missing the one thing that makes it meaningful.

Like 5 people said yes to mcd rewrite, so I think I'll go through the characters I've got drawn on my pc, starting with Laurence!! W/ some lore ofc. (lore beneath the cut)

In my rewrite Laurence meets Aphmau (renamed Phoebe/Penelope [which i will be using for the rest of the post]) kind of similarly to how he meets her in the original story BUT the whole crazy cat lady thing and the chicken shaman are cut - Cadenza is still missing though, and it seems like everyone's super upset about it EXCEPT for Kenmur (who was pretty known from moving on from Sasha's death so quickly to get with Cadenza), so Laurence asks for Penelope to help look for his sister in return for a ride to Scaleswind on his wyvern.

They go search the woods and find Cadenza and her "kidnapper", Sasha - Who had faked her kidnapping to prove to Cadenza that Kenmur *sucks* and doesn't care about her. (A girls helping girls moment, as my friend had called it). Originally Sasha had been sent to keep an eye on Penelope by Gene (who's shockingly worse actually), but after being away from Gene's influence for a long period of time she decides to jump ship in regards to her allegiance to Gene.

Unfortunately, when Penelope returns on her way back to Phoenix Drop, Gene had kidnapped Sasha to brainwash her back into wanting to be his right hand man - leaving Penelope and Laurence to go into the Nether to save her (Which ends up about the same with Laurence becoming a shadowknight).

Some time after Donna and Logan's wedding, Laurence's wyvern saves him from the Nether (and DOESN'T die from crossing the realm barrier... because that was so unesscessary.)

It goes about the same from there on except that Laurence's vision never really improves and he's left legally blind. He still ends up being one of Penelope's guards, and maybe sorta kinda romancing Garroth (they both think they're GREAT at gay chicken).

I thought I was on my way to writing the same number of Miguel/Chico fics as Ding Rong/Wang Zhi fics but I've actually written a surprising variety (for me) for Oz so far, and so miguelchico only accounts for 27/46 of my Oz fics (which includes several drabbles, of course) whereas rongzhi is 50/59 tsomd fic with i think maybe 1 drabble and 6/50 are another rarepair that i might be the only person on earth who truly likes

So the takeaway here is that if you thought I'd already milked this rarepair dry, think again! We haven't even entered the wilder AUs yet.... the transmigration.... the Island Prison!Oz AU.... I haven't even written MCD yet! There's been no marriages! No undercover!Miguel infiltrating El Norte! No 12 Monkeys AU! No Stepford Wives AU (yes this is also a bullet point on my "Fic Ideas" list.... no, I will not be taking questions at this time....)!

Not to mention the 10 miguelchico wips I already have started! 🥴 Basically, if history is anything to go by, I will be here chugging along long after everyone gets sick of my shit lol

(I have a Stanislofsky wip in the works rn too.... probably gonna be a short thing for HT100 as a breather, and also because I genuinely do want to write more oz fic with other characters too! sorta have a Torquemada/Morales AU in the back of my mind too—probably also going to be a short piece that I will try to match to a HT100 prompt, since idrk how to write either of them. But I feel like Morales doesn't get any love in the fandom and he's one of my favorite characters in the show tbh!

Also I've had a Said/Bismilla idea that I've had since last year when I was working on Holding Up the Sky (I know, that was forever ago) but need to do more development (bc... well... Bismilla) for that basically so I've been putting it off. Kinda wanna write Shirley/Diane still and Shannon/Gloria as well, and my sister's comments from last week's episode watch kinda made me want to write some sort of Ryan/Peter thing, but again... still gotta come up with more substantial fic ideas than simply the pairing and some vibes. Alas!

I dont do happy endings that often, i tend to add them after for my friends who dont like MCD xd

Used to constantly, so it overshadowed my enjoyment of the media. MHA folks cared to much about who Hawks was fcking and im an equal opportunity shipper who likes her age gap 'this is a problem' ships, so i got alot. Have a thicker skin now and less tendency to care if anyone likes/dislikes or reads my fic xd Still complain about it though xd

One Piece people are much nicer then my last few fandom, but also im a small fish in a big sea as a creator over here also have so many people blocked lolol

9) do you write smut?

Also used to write smut, erotica for moneys in college. I've been told Im good and should right more but I find it a little boring sometimes as an ace gremlin xd, has to be very specific vibes for me to do it with any kind of focus

Any smut I post now is going to be silly messy smut that i dont take specific care or attention to detail with. Smut thats more there to put character in situation and see what he does xd

Yes? Maybe, I like the idea of putting characters in video games but its indulgent vibes that i never really put down on the page xd

I know a bunch of languages in varrying degrees of understanding, Russian, Ukranian, Polish, Spanish etc but Im not a fan of having non-dominant language showing up in my own fic, it ruins the flow when my brain has to switch channels xd

Donald couldn’t sleep.

It was unseasonably hot for this time of year. Heck, it was September; it was supposed to feel more like fall by this point!

He glanced at the clock. 4:30.

“Well,” he figured, “I went to bed fairly early last night. Might as well get up now. As they say, early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” He chuckled, remembering the first time he ever tried to turn in early. It ended with his alarm clock (the old-fashioned kind) broken, his mattress destroyed, and Donald himself somehow ending up looking like a snake charmer.

He made himself some coffee, and then went outside to enjoy it. After a couple sips, he heard a loud noise coming from inside the mansion.

“What the heck was that?” he shouted. He put down his coffee, and picked up an oar, ready to attack whoever might be intruding in the mansion at this hour.

The noise got louder as he approached the mansion. “Alright, you son of a gun!” he shouted. “Come get a taste of my oar!”

Except it wasn’t an intruder. It turns out that Donald wasn’t the only one in the house that decided to get an early start.

“Launchpad?”

The pilot looked up from his cereal. “Oh. Hey, Mr. D.”

“What the heck are you doing up so early?” questioned the sailor.

“Night patrol with DW,” replied Launchpad. “Then gotta bring Mr. McD to a big meeting at the Bin later today.”

“Wow,” chuckled Donald. “Anyway, why don’t we take this outside? Everyone else is probably still asleep.”

“Sure,” Launchpad answered. “Do you want anything?”

Then Donald realized he had left his coffee on the houseboat. “Oh, phooey, I forgot my coffee,” he grumbled. “I’ll get myself some OJ, I guess.”

After Donald poured himself a glass of juice, he and Launchpad made their way out onto the patio, sitting on the edge of it.

“Not too bad, I guess,” commented Launchpad. “Certainly compared to in there.”

Donald nodded in agreement. There was at least a light breeze rolling by in the pitch black of the early morning.

There were several moments of silence. Then Launchpad spoke. “Hey, Mr. D?”

Donald turned towards Launchpad. “Mmm?”

“Am I a good pilot?”

Donald was shocked by the question. “I mean, you’re a bit unorthodox, but I would say yes, you are. Why?”

Launchpad sighed.

“Did anyone say that you weren’t? Alright, who am I beating up?”

“Whoa, whoa! Mr. D,” exclaimed Launchpad, holding his arm out in front of the smaller man. “No one has. It’s not like that. I guess it’s just that sometimes, I doubt myself.”

Donald looked at Launchpad curiously and intently. “And why do you doubt yourself?”

“I mean, look at me,” Launchpad commented. “I crash.”

“Well, yes,” Donald responded. “But you know how to do it right. I, along with the rest of the family, sorta expect it from you by this point.”

“Okay, okay, you’ve got a point there,” admitted Launchpad. “But beyond that, like, since your sister came back, we’ve kinda split duties on the Sunchaser. But she’s way better than me at this whole piloting thing. And I feel like Mr. McD prefers her to me. And ever since I started doing Darkwing and Pilot stuff in St. Canard, well, I haven’t been needed as much here, anyway. It feels like I’m looking over my shoulder.”

“Look, buddy,” began Donald, putting his hand on the pilot’s arm, “just because you have more responsibilities to attend to, it does not mean you’re any less important here. With Uncle Scrooge’s elevated push to find the Missing Mysteries, he needs all the help he can get. And as for whether he favors Della over you, that’s baloney. He appreciates both of you as his pilots. And Della is not perfect as a pilot, herself. She would likely be the first to tell you that. As long as you both get people where they’re going, as long as you get back up, dust yourselves off, that’s all that matters at the end of the day.”

Launchpad nodded.

“And hey,” continued Donald, “we understand that Drake and Gosalyn need you more now, too. You don’t have to keep rushing back and forth between Duckburg and St. Canard. You can absolutely find a way to be both Darkwing Duck’s sidekick and Scrooge McDuck’s pilot.”

Launchpad continued nodding, taking a gradual sip of juice. “What would that mean?” he wondered.

“Well, for one,” explained Donald, “you could try staying over at Drake’s apartment more often, instead of wearing yourself out getting back here. If you’re not in the best shape to get Uncle Scrooge to that meeting later today, Della could always do it. How about you sleep on it, and figure it out when you wake up?”

“Alright. I will,” Launchpad replied. “Thanks, Mr. D.”

“You’re welcome, Launchpad. Have a good sleep.”

The two put their dishes in the sink, and then Launchpad headed off to the garage to sleep off his patrol.

Donald headed back outside, returning to the houseboat to get back to his coffee. Sure, it was probably cold by now, but he didn’t care. It was worth it being able to help his friend out with his present situation.

this is less of a hot take more like a complaint but something I think isn’t nearly as talked abt is the magic system and how it works in MS/MCD. In McD it’s slightly more explored.

Jess just kinda threw a lot of… stuff at us and expected us to just digest it without further explaining what’s in the dish.

it’s the equivalent of a stranger walking up to you, handing you a plate of somewhat appealing food, and telling you to eat it. Like most people want to know what’s in the food.

there’s two different forms of it, kinda not really, magic and magik’s. With no real meaningful difference between the two.

we know there’s a high magic council, that’s off busy doing god knows what during MS’s climax.

We know that aside from magik’s and magic there’s multiple different classifications of magic. By extension we know most of magic is drawn from emotion (it’s still stated extremely vaguely tho), and healing magic is done through equivalent exchange.

we know there’s demons and other mythical humanoid/animal like creatures.

we know there’s a spirit world.

we know there’s like familiars, and some of those spells that come with it.

And we know there’s other gods besides the divine. (They’re technically not gods, but they’re still treated like it in dialogue so)

and we know that there’s magic laws, colleges, maybe even governments and places that are purely inhabited by magic users alla Harry Potter.

my point being, with all these jumping points you would thing at least would be expanded on, but nope, magic in this world is just, accepted as a factor and treated like a relatively unimpressive spectacle.

which is weird because despite there being lots ways to show off how society, both physically and psychologically would change. There’s so many cool world building you could do, but Jess just- opts to shove goofy ass spells in our face.

at least until season 4 where the really bad forbidden spell is made which, isn’t even investigated by this magic council that put the rule that you can’t make it in place. But if Jess did that then she’d have to do several things we know she wouldn’t want to do like; explain why forever potions are band and love potions aren’t, actually focus on characters and the world bigger than our cast of characters mainly aph and Aaron, come up with actual world building and discuss the conflicts that may arise out of having magic being used so freely in schools and just public areas in general.

like there’s so many deeper topics that you could present with it but no; cat potionsssss, love potion misunderstandings/conflicts that we’ve seen a million other times and done so much better in a handful of them, teleportation which does have a bit of a limit granted, more destructive chaotic potions that multiple characters have not accidentally/purposefully caused 100’s of 1,000 dollars with, but also put people in actual physical danger in both schools and public settings, potions that allow you to swap fantasy races for comedy.

The main problem is that Jess kinda just, pulled out random generic spells as she went along and only put debuffs on it later to nerf it. Again like the teleportation, or forever potion victims just needing to feel a “strong emotion”. It’s not thought out at all, which I’m not surprised by but god, it could’ve been so interesting.

oh i can explain the magic differences sorta ~~

magicks/magics plural is exclusive to mcd. people who use magicks have to be born with an innate connection to the magicks that flows through the world. and your abilities tend to fall into a specific category of spell (ex. kc specializes in animation magicks, zoey has barrier magicks etc.) some magicks users can perform witchcraft in spells related to their field, but witchcraft is for the most part a seperate skill. it is the best explained out of the three.

magic is a mystreet concept and allegedly anyone can use it with a "strong emotion". there are only a couple categories of spell, and specific emotions are required for each one (happy is creation, anger for destruction, sorrow for elemental, and love for healing). only the healing magic is ever used, and its mostly unrelated to witchcraft even through lucinda exposits about it. [imo adding a magic with such a loose requirement and never using it only serves to dampen any emotional scenes after its introduction since (ex. zane couldn't have been THAT sad about aph's death if he didn't become the avatar) but that's a little unrelated lol)

witchcraft is the jack of all trades of magic in both worlds and is characterized by using specific incantations and ingrediants for spells to work. anyone can do it with training or only some people can do it depending on the timeline. it is the most lawless of the three, mostly due to the fact that lucinda is the only important witch and her primary role is plot device. the majority of magic use is witchcraft, including the forever potions.

So like at 12 years old I used to be a major and I mean MAJOR Zane fangirl. Zane Ro'Meave was my everything as a kid frfr like I would deadass defend his every action when I was 12. Like even in his MCD form you best bet that 12 year old me was using their every waking breath to stand up for Zane. I would see someone make a valid point about Zane being a dickhole for killing Jeffory and I guarantee you my 12 year old self would still try to find a way to defend Zane. That's just how much I was fucking in love with him bro. This man's straight up shaped my whole personality as a kid because his existence is why my main persona/online alias is Zana. Deadass before I gave her a heavy revamp, my persona was straight up just a female version of Zane 💀 And I always find it kind of funny because I created her long before we got canon genderbents so like... Jess you copying me gurl??/j Anyways, I was such a Zane fangirl that I even cut my bangs at 12 to try to look similar to him. I had wannabe emo bangs in 6th grade because of this fucker. He ruined my life I tell you. I never technically got rid of them either, I just let them grow to be the same length as the rest of my hair. No one in the present day will ever know about it but I will always remember. It's a memory of my middle school days that will never leave me.

And then there's the dramatic irony that after rewatching MCD and Mystreet now, Zane is no longer my number one fave anymore. It's fucking Dante now. Of course I will always love Zane, that bastard clearly holds a special place in my heart. But ultimately, Dante did in fact steal Zane's place as my number one favorite Aphverse character. He pushed Zane off the goddamn podium and snatched up the first place medal for himself. And I have no problem with that. But I just know my 12 year old self would be in pure shock if they saw that I ditched Zane for Dante lmao. Yet at the same time, I can't help but look at this in a poetic sense.

As a child I know I had such an attachment to Zane because I related a lot to him with being that person that was kinda seen as weird because I was quiet and wasn't a social person. I also had a few friends like Zane but just like him, I met some of them through a single friend that interacted with me first cuz I was far too socially awkward to speak to literally anyone. But now that I'm older, I don't really relate to Zane anymore. I'm not a full on social butterfly but back when I was 12, I couldn't even talk to people my own age that weren't friends because of my shyness and socially awkward personality. But now I'm not like that anymore. I would still say I'm a quiet person ofc but nowadays I don't freeze up and immediately get awkward when people I don't really know try talking to me. Sometimes it can still happen but I just don't really do that anymore. I don't think I actively made this choice though it just sorta happened. Growing up will just do that to you I guess lmao. And that's probably why I don't relate to Zane as much anymore and have now gravitated towards Dante. I grew up and now I find myself being more attached and sorta relating to Dante way more now than Zane. Zane's still cool to me but he's just not my fave anymore because I'm not the same person I was when I was 12.

That got way more deep than I was actually expecting lol. But I still stand by my point regardless. Zane was a huge comfort to 12 year old me but not anymore. I still love his character but he just doesn't bring me that same comfort like he did when I was 12 because I don't need that type of comfort anymore. Dante however is my new comfort character probably because I relate to him more now than I did as a kid. I barely paid attention to Dante when I was 12 but look at me now. He's all I ever seem to post about on this blog lmao. Honestly, seeing myself go from having Zane as comfort character in the past to now having Dante as my comfort character kinda brings me a peace of mind because I think it truly represents all the healing I've done over these past years. Even if it is a little silly to think about it in a deep and poetic fashion like this but I don't really care, thinking about this topic just brings me this sort of warmness I don't really know how to explain. I feel like maybe some people will understand what I'm trying to get it. Hopefully. laurence. he is absolutely at the top of his list. whether in mcd or mystreet, laurence was one of the biggest characters who got absolutely mishandled. like youre telling me you make this cute, badass loyal dude who just suddenly up and dips to the nether????? what is that???? and in mystreet you reduce him to some kinda freaky stalker and then sideline his character?

garroth. because while garroth did not get sidelined what they did to his character is absolutely atrocious. mcd garroth is quiet, well-spoken, and shows his kidness subtly. while garroth in myst. is. not that. and absolutely dont get me twisted i love myst garroth. hes a silly man doing silly man things but by god they reduced his character to ash

kai. i know we hardly see kai but he deserved more than being reduced to minor villian #79 because he didnt like aphmau. if i had written pdh, i wouldve just completely done away with the date. because kais reasons for not liking her romantically were totally valid (not to mention i believe he was a senior which again. is weird. is so so weird). i think kai wldve been a cool background character that aphmau could talk to occasionally because hes just a cool dude. hes chill and funny and gave genuinely good advice. plus we dont see a lot of mei'fwa aside from kc and michi and i think it wouldve been cool to see more of that lore built up

now dont crucify me but ein. BEFORE EVERYONE GRABS THE TORCHES AND PITCHFORKS: im not saying that ein cant be a villian im just saying make him a BETTER one? because in my eyes his motivations are stupid. youre telling me he was upended my aaron in highschool and hes held a grudge ever since? for like 10 years? and i know he was manipulated but still bro get a JOB. not to mention the weird incesty crush they tried to retcon later. i think ein couldve been a cool villian if he went full incognito. no one, not even the audience, thinks hes a villian. he comes back into myst as an adult and apologizes. we think hes on their side until BOOM. betrayal. but even so i really wish he wasnt a villian because ein in pdh s2 was freaking adorable. he was shy and awkward and just a lil dork and it was refreshing to see that because every male character in aphmau is kind of big and bold so it was nice to see an outwardly shy character

gene. think im gonna get hatecrimed for this one but gene in myst was overall ✨unnecessary✨ aside from providing cheap tension to be resolved in a single episode. dont get me wrong. i love myst gene. love him to bits and pieces and crumbles. but what does he contribute to the plot? like actually?

aaron. i think its an overall general take that aaron got everything that the other characters didnt. which SUCKS. im going to ignore all of the weird other shit around his character and focus only on his character. hes a cool character. level headed, rational, loyal but still has his silly moments. but they tried so hard to make him some sorta tragic baddass. watching myst in order was like whiplash. like BOOM. SUDDENLY AARON IS AN HEIR TO A BIGASS COMPANY AND BOOM. FOREVER POTIONS AND BOOM. ULTIMA. AND BOOM HES DEAD. AND BOOM. HES ALIVE AGAIN. like huh????

pretty much every other character is a victim of writing slander in some ways but these ones eithee grind my gears or make me roll my eyes.

These two hid out in a bunker just on the outskirts of the main city of L’Manburg, with just two twin beds, and a bunch of canned goods they stole before shit hit the proverbial fan. They had no idea about what the world looked like, how the sun appeared to be brushed with emerald to conceal its golden hue, how the clouds hung lower to the crumbled surface, bowing downward in a twisted sense of pity.

Haunted echoes of laughter taunted the abandoned streets, as shattered streetlights danced across the eroded cobblestone. L’Manburg was no more. A ghost town riddled with secrets, now blanketed with death and decay.

A single monument remained. A doomsday clock installed just before the “Event”. It ticked down tauntingly, seeming to anchor in this thought that the world was indeed ending. The clock’s face seemed to smirk as every second passed, until…
