i have to be honest i can't get into alicent and helaena and find it genuinely baffling how openly loving and protective they've made alicent towards her they had the potential to explore such a fascinating dynamic between a queen mother forced to marry and have children when she was still just a child herself and her daughter who she's forced into the same life especially when her husband is also her brother who's a known rapist/abuser/pedophile?
