ok so clarifying on my larry adhd headcanon because i know i'm right here to me larry and phoenix are BOTH undiagnosed adhd (maybe phoenix gets diagnosed later into his life or before the events of the games but idk) but phoenix is the like "what's wrong with me" adhd where he struggles with things and his response is that he HAS to do them because if he can't it's an issue especially when it's so effortless for everyone else and he's constantly worried that something must be wrong with him to struggle so much and larry is the "why is he like that" adhd where he struggles with things and his response is "if it sucks hit da bricks" and puts his effort instead into coming off like it doesn't bother him because he just Doesn't Care about responsibilities ever and it totally never worries him that he struggles with things other people seem to do effortlessly haha why would you think that. no he doesn't worry about that kind of thing. he doesn't even care. he chose to be the irresponsible class clown and he totally didn't make that choice so that his failures felt like something within his control that he could just as easily accomplish "if i felt like it" what makes you think that

1 - 08/01/2023 : starting the year off well with my fave girlies <3 a bit sketchy but i still really love Ru's expression

2 - 11/01/2023 : eepy. the lil 34 y.o lady. has a house and a job and is a whole 34 y.o 6'4 tall woman but shes just so.....

3, 4 - 16/01/2023 : little. Ru in that style i draw myself in for some reason. also a Toni drawing i think is better unexplained

5 - 21/01/2023 : epic Rusty moment.. i love her a lot, im also projecting, she bi as hell

6, 7 - 22/01/2023 : some of my fave drawings of Toni n Ru, esp Toni like shes so delightful

8, 9 - 22/01/2023 : Reagan from inside job teehee, idr if i just finished the series up to whenever it was at this point, or if i just wanted to draw her, i forget, but there she is :) also another Rusty, another of my fave drawings probably of the year as a whole, shes so cute

10, 11 - 25/01/2023 : another nother Rusty, not as happy with this one but i liked the idea of drawing her before she was salvaged, yes i will add angst to a show for 5 year olds who are now 20-somethings, i am the target demographic and i WILL be cringe about it

Also another Ru, i really like this one, i was stuck for awhile on perfecting her side profile, i really like it here, i probs still struggle with it, i struggle with side profiles in general, but i want to get it right with her in particular bc her nose shape is just delightful

i have hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome which, for the uninitiated, is a joint connectivity disorder - meaning that my joints don't work properly and can dislocate way easier than the average person - which also comes with chronic pain/fatigue, slower wound healing, a whole bunch of possible comorbid shit (believe it or not, autism and EDS are somewhat comorbid!), and just general ouchy body-no-worky shit. i can't repeatedly jump up and down without all of my joints from my hips down threatening to dislocate. i once fully dislocated my knee by Doing Maths Homework for a few hours and then trying to stand up after. sometimes my neck just violently spasms for no reason, which hurts mega bad and also sucks mega bad.

it also means i can very nonchalantly deal with things that freak other people out! my shoulder nearly dislocated several times in class a few weeks ago and i just calmly shoved it back in place. i was once late to lesson in highschool bc my legs wouldn't stop spasming and i had to sit down in a vacant classroom with a teacher, and the teacher looked TERRIFIED whilst i was mostly just worried about getting another late mark. back when i still wore a binder (which i haven't in years, for probably increasingly obvious reasons) i used to physically reach under my ribcage and pull it back into place when the pressure caused it to subluxate.

all this to say: i think it'd be fucking HILARIOUS if phoenix actually-indestructible human-nokia you-cannot-kill-me-in-a-way-that-matters wright had EDS. in fact, i actively headcanon it! bc the mental image of him fully dislocating a limb and just casually clunking it back in place (with a few streams of pained tears, of course, but still smiling and cracking a dumb joke about it) whilst maya watches on in horror is startlingly canon-accurate and also it's a little funny to imagine a character who's so notoriously difficult to injure being taken out by Sitting With His Legs Crossed
