Okay, so that’s not happening.

“You don’t have to do it. I didn’t know who else to ask.” And I think we’re friends? Maybe. Wait, what if he doesn’t think so? Two front teeth dig into the flesh of his lower lip.

“Any way you could give your super cool invisibility power to me for a little bit?” Peter jokes, while playing with the collar of his button-up.

Hi everyone!

August has been another productive month, while we sit at home and watch everyone’s pictures from fun conventions all across the globe (we’re totally not jealous! xD). We’re looking forward to the day when we’ll be going to a con with Arcadia Fallen II, but that means we have to, you know… build the game, so back to work! ^^

This month Katie and Mette have been wrangling all the subplots and tying red strings between them all. We’re feeling this image a lot these days. We swear, it’s all connected! xD

This has been a month of character designs! So here’s a bunch of new characters you haven’t yet met, including some of their progress sketches.

We’ve also gotten started on some of the design rewards from the Kickstarter. Everyone has such cute cats; we’re gonna have so much fun hiding them all across the Academy!

This month I went to visit family, and the morning when I was sitting and writing this newsletter, feeling a bit drained, the family dog Kimo came to sit by my feet. While sitting down, he then let out a big fart. The sound spooked him so much it sent him flying across the room. I laughed so hard, and the world seemed a little less overwhelming. Thank you Kimo for lifting my spirits!

Electropop from Indonesia!  This is the duo Santamonica, founded in 2003. They are Anindita Saryuf aka Sistine and producer/musician Joseph Saryuf (also in duo Direct Action)

I think Aquarius is their first original single since their 2007 album Curiouser and Curiouser.  Their sound is as ethereal as ever, and I’m so pleased to hear them again!  =D

In 2021, Santamonica reunited to cover the 2019 song Wanderlust by the Indonesian duo KimoKal, and KimoKal covered a Santamonica song from 2007, also called Wanderlust!  XD.  The mutual covers of ‘Wanderlust’ are part of covers series commissioned by the streaming service, Joox.

Things that happen today

So I was talking on a discord server for another fandom about nicknames for the Scarabia Dou. (Apparently, Jamil and Kalim are more common in South Asia in places like Pakistan and parts of the gulf region instead of swana, and Karim or Jamal would've been more accurate, but that's besides the point.)

According to my friend, they know a guy back in Egypt named Jamal and his nickname is Jimmy. Dude, I'm totally making Najma or Kalim call Jamil at that some point. They would. xD

Other nickname suggestions they for Kalim are Kam, Kimo, and Milo.

Wanted to let you know, just in case you wanted to know these.

Why do I feel like Jamil would hate nicknames let alone Jimmy. But Kalim would love nicknames for friendships and just insist anyone call him Kam, Kimo, or Milo. I adore this and may or may not add it to my stories as well.

Even though  Hitomi No Tojtite Kokoro No Mama Boku wa Kimo Wo Omou was already a blatant reference to Tezuka, I can’t believe this is confirmed by Tenirabi

Also Dakishimete Shimai Sou Sa now really points to Fuji.

So rechanged the name about my series from Fate of Our Worlds to just The Soul Bound Heroes. As I just wanted to focus on the individual stories of those who become the servants of Kasey God of Fate/Misfortune/Change/Destiny/Chaos

son of Kimos primal god of change/chaos. I feel the world I have made has grown way to big and the lore has gone off the rails so it's better for everyone if I just keep it simple.

simple: there are people who become bound to Kasey thats their destiny and later they use this bind to change the fate or destiny of others. (Pretty simple premise) this includes my original Soul Bound Aka the Hell Bound James and them along with new awesome characters like Blaine and Nia who's story and pictures I'm working on. XD and Trevor's grandpa Arkadia who's name was changed to Artemis for reasons... xp also changed Arkadia's hair to white instead of blonde. He's still an amazing character and I hope I can properly figure out his retelling (remade story) I will probably post his original story so you know what changed and what he was like but its wont be really be canon actually with all the Timey Wimey stuff that happens to everyone and rebirths you could say it is xD
