I remembered my crow (well, raven), the other day, along with some new stuff about myself!

I had above average eyesight, as I've talked about before iirc, but that was only during the day. While I don't think there was a name for it, then, I was night blind! If there was little to no moonlight, I wasn't able to see anything in front of me. The darker it was, the more I relied on my hearing, and noticing movement rather than specific objects. At home I usually just carried a lantern with me on the rare occasions I would be out and about at night. However, after joining the Corps I did a lot of training to make up for that weakness, and I made a lot of progress!

My raven, Tomomi (I liked to call him Tomo sometimes), would act as a guide, as well. Telling me how far away something was, gently nudging me if I was going the wrong direction or if something was in my path. I remember when we traveled at night, I would listen to the flapping of his wings in order to follow him- especially if we were rushing to a mission. He spoke fairly clearly, but I remember his voice was still a bit rough. Sometimes we would have conversations, though more often than not I'd just talk while he listened.

When I made food, I'd make some for him, as well, and we'd have meals together. As someone who didn't go on missions with people I recognized very often, Tomomi was a much needed constant in my life. And a great companion.

It's my source birthday!! Yay!!! It's kinda funny, because today is also my one of my brother's birthdays in the current life, so it's a little funny coincidence lol :3

I never usually do much to celebrate my birthday today because it's my brother's birthday, but it makes me a little happy to know that we'll always be connected in some little way.

To all the other Nezukos out there, happy birthday!! I hope you get to eat lots of konpeito today, and if you don't like konpeito anymore or can't get it, I hope you get to have lots of whatever your favorite food is today!!!

And to anyone else having a birthday today, happy birthday!!!!!! I hope everyones day is wonderful!!

cricket again...i want to go back to my trees, i miss them. kind of even miss the annoying stinky demon who thought my turf was his...... just want to take a nap in a tree again. our bed is comfy but its not a tree.

hi! cricket, final selection demon 1, oni a, creature , whatever you call me! sometimes it kind of sucks being a really really minor character cause the only ones i knew were another minor demon i hated and tanjiro who killed me. that's all. if i could only find source mates even but no ones really interested they want to find their old friends. valid but.... i'm here too. sads.

I was thinking earlier, sometimes it's funny to see my source's fans argue about what years things happened in. They don't know they can just ask! For example, I was born on July 14 1906 and joined the Demon Slayer Corps in 1921! (This may not be canon information, but it is my information anyway!)

So happy birthday to me, Kamado Tanjirou! I will do my very best to have a good day; I'm spending it with family and plan on eating many delicious cherries!

Yeah uh. I was. Definitely didn't want to be, especially after the memories I've gotten so far, but so it goes. Unfortunately I'm noncanon so I have my own ✨Unique✨ horrors to remember and work through, so that's.. Great (/s).

I remember my family, mostly, which is a blessing and a curse in and of itself. Considering, y'know, the aforementioned Horrors™️, lol.
