i should just kill you when i get the chance.

from across the room, the man watched as his target walked with an air of authority, earning the attention of all the other patrons around him. his prey made eye contact with each of the patrons he passed, giving each a smile that looked disgustingly fake to the man. despite the fact that most of the patrons knew exactly who he was, he had a mysterious aura surrounding him, his smile was always easy-going, but his dark eyes were hard to read. he was eating up all of the attention, his smile turning to the trademark smirk that the man had seen many times before. the more he watched his mark, the more he was filled with utter hatred, both for him and the society they lived in.

how could a man like him be given all the power and wealth he could ask for, when he did nothing but bring pain onto others?

the man sneered in disgust as he watched the way the girls stood around, gushing and fawning over him like he was god’s gift to the world. the man forced his attention away from his target, knowing that the longer he looked, the higher the chance that he’d throw his plan away, rather opting to kill the bastard right then and there. he had worked on this intricate plan for years; he couldn’t just throw it away because of the hatred churning in his stomach.

killing him will be a fate too kind for a man like him.

the man turned his attention to his table and using his reflection on the serviette dispenser, he fixed his tie, tightening it. he closed his eyes as memories flashed through his mind forcefully, filling every cell in his body with rage and hatred, all directed at one family. he opened his eyes, clearing his mind of the memories, and focusing his attention back to his prey. the man was here for a reason; he couldn’t forget his plan when he was so close to achieving his life goal.

with his resolve strengthened, he turned back to his table, opening his laptop. the man pushed his glasses up, trying to find the right words to succinctly convey his message to his mark. the man wasn’t good with words, always struggling to communicate his thoughts. he had been like that since he was a child. he stared at the blank word document in front of him, the bareness of the page and the constant flashing of the cursor bringing a sense of dread to his stomach. it was times like this when he was filled with envy rather than hatred for his target. how the man wished he had the same charisma he had, the ease of conversation he had, and his ability to command a room.

unlike him, i would use it for good, rather than to hurt the less fortunate.

his fingers hovered over the keyboard before he started typing, trying to channel his rage and hatred through his words rather than his fists like he usually would. when he finished the message, he smirked, feeling a sense of pride at his masterpiece. as he sent the message, he was buzzing in his seat with anticipation. he glanced back to his target, who was chatting up his next victim of heartbreak, oblivious to the plan that was just set in motion.
