Killing Mind is book 12 in the DI Kim Stone series by Angela Marsons (releasing in May) “DI Stone is called to the scene of an apparent suicide. Further investigation reveals it to be a murder and when a young man is found killed the same way, Kim and her team search for connections between the two victims. They are led to a communal farm and a charismatic leader. They send in an undercover officer. But they’ve lost contact...” Marsons has given us another good story. We get to see part of Bryant’s backstory. Tinkerbelle returns. And the way that Penn develops a victim profile from a shoe and Amazon is remarkable. First time I had seen that in crime fiction. If you’re looking for cult-flavored crime fiction. Lots of info on cults (a bit much but you can skim that if you want) Some excellent crime fiction from Marsons and a great series.
