I've been bullying my boy Killer too much lately, so you guys are getting some fluffy headcanons for a change:

At some point, he picks up body painting. Color's bones are too sensitive for that kind of stuff (paint getting into the small cracks would NOT be fun) so Delta is his favorite canvas

Dust, Cross, and Epic also get themselves painted sometimes (Dust does face only, while with Cross and Epic it depends on their mood), while Horror has the same issues as Color. That said, Horror and Color appreciate the view, and Color has gotten plenty of cool pictures out of it

Killer can see Beta, XChara, Phantom, and all of Color's souls, mainly because they're all somewhat connected to the players/creators. As in they're a direct result of their actions. He uses this ability for evil exclusively (aka pulling pranks on his friends and getting them to snoop for him so he can know what the perfect present would be for them)

He doesn't remember his original birthday at all. He remembers very little of his life. Still, his friends insisted that he couldn't be without one so he chose the 20th of April (4/20, because he's a dumbass). Epic approved. Everyone else groaned

He hates surprises, so his first birthday was meticulously planned and approved days in advance. He loved every second of it. They took him to a natural reserve in an AU he never explored before and they hiked there the whole day. Killer got to pet a bear. Even the guide was surprised he didn't get mauled for it, but Killer gets Disney Princess privileges

He says his comfort food is specifically the grilled cheese sandwiches Horror makes. Truthfully, he can't taste anything, but Horror is so happy any time he hears it and any time he's cooking them (he used to make them for his bro all the time before the food crisis) and that's enough to make them Killer's favorite

He loves using makeup. He met an Underlust Sans one time at a shop who is also a small content creator and he started appearing in his videos as literally just a canvas for all the experimental makeup. He's quite the heart-throb with the viewers. He's got pretty boy privileges. (His friends were just happy to see him becoming more social, because he clearly is a very extroverted guy and he was suffering mostly staying inside all the time)

He and Color sometimes disappear for days at a time, getting lost in their explorations, so their friends have gotten them any piece of equipment they could think of that could aid their survival. And Horror has been learning how to make dehydrated food so it will be easier for them to pack more provisions

Stage 3 has built an excessive amount of dens, all filled to the brim woth pieces of clothing belonging to its friends. This is partially because all of those fuckers keep enabling it. They see those big empty eyes staring at them and immediately give it a pile of clothes they're not using at the time. Stage 3 has several dens in each of their homes

At some point, Stage 2 gets particularly clingy with Delta (may have something to do with Delta punching Nightmare in the face for daring to get close to Killer again). Both of them deny that that's what's happening, but it's common to find them latched onto each other in the weirdest of places. Their favorite place to totally-not-cuddle is the top of the fridge

Stage 4 finally gets some friends. Not owners, friends. They're kinda like its pack. It would have hated that at the start, but, after a while, the responsibility of keeping its pack safe became enough to keep it happy and in line. Color's still wearing the heart locket just in case though. But they usually don't need it

➤ obsessed with christmas. always looks forward to december and is the only one in the bad sanses who actually cares abt the holiday. would genuinely fight in christmas clothing if he wanted but nightmare usually says no 🙏

Avian Killer Headcanons

Anything with the word "Avian" in it on my blog will, undoubtedly, contain some aspect of violence.

I sure know this one does :]

He’s just as much a gremlin as his Original Version is– if not, then more.

He’s flirtatious and mischievous, but extremely aggressive towards anyone who isn’t in his flock or hasn’t earned his trust.

He’s an Australian Magpie– and with that, comes insane territorial instincts. He doesn’t like the thought of others being on the land he shares with his flock if they haven’t done anything to earn their place.

Since Avians are capable of hardening/stiffening their wings to the point that their feathers become terrifyingly sharp blades, Killer almost always has his sharpened. This is usually referred to as “Prickling” like a cat does– except with a lot more consequences if you so much as breathe wrong.

He’s super good at picking up on body language, which aids him in many situations. Sometimes he just doesn’t care though.

Some sadistic part of him enjoys killing humans. He thinks it’s amusing that the species at the “top of the foodchain” get so spooked and run away from him, as if that’d do anything.

Killer is very sensitive about his wings coming in contact with things– more so than other Avians– due to sustaining a pretty bad injury to them a while back when he was in his original flock. 

His original flock wasn’t… the kindest when it came to punishments. He scuffed up once and got his wings shredded (the worst punishment that can happen to an Avian), so he really doesn’t like it if an untrusted being touches them.

Killer is known throughout the entire Avian network for the genocides he’s committed, both feared and respected because of them.

I tend to headcanon re-gained Killer, where he regains his emotions very, very slowly. So, I headcanon that the first time it began to happen, it was tiny snippets and he was so confused what was happening, but Nightmare just kind of felt them and always had the quietest smile on his face each time

♡ - romantic headcanon

I feel like Killer would be the type to be like, "I brought you a flower," cue the most dead, sad tiny dandelion, cause he couldn't find any other flowers that weren't in Nightmare's garden, so bro would go searching for HOURS

I- don't know how to apply this to Killer- but let's just say when he first joined Nightmare. Nightmare would often find him just randomly curling up in a ball and literally covered in his own liquid hate, and this is how Nightmare first began to see Killer less than an asset and more of a son co-worker

Bro, he would do this to anyone who joined the gang. Tell them he'd want to show them something, then fucking look up for a moment, before utterly dumping liquid hate on the ground LMAOOO

Touchiest out of all of them, always draping himself over you and wrapping his arms around your waist

Likes to kiss the back of your shoulder and the side of your head

Very stubborn, won’t let you go to bed upset and reluctant to give you space when you ask for it

Calls you pookie… bc he thinks it’s cute ..mostly funny

Never will you feel unloved!! You’re always on his mind and he’s always showing it somehow; sending you videos he comes across that reminds him of you, shooting heart hands at you whenever you spare him a glance, etc ♡

Tries to keep you a secret from Nightmare and Nightmare a secret from you, there’s a lot of things that he won’t share with you and sometimes you get the feeling that he’s lying to you about things- like where he’s been and what he’s been up to. Trying to pry it out of him will cause him to shut down, not wanting to say something he’ll regret- leaving you by yourself. When he appears before you again, he’ll try and act like it never happened, pulling you into his arms.

I actually have some headcanons to go with this

First aval, I think when he’s overwhelmed his flames get rlly hot and hurt his head and it causes headaches, but I also think the flames start to seep out of his other eye kind of like tears and he can’t see very well bcz of it :3 (it could also come out of his mouth too)

it also seeps out of other cracks in his body so it’s like a burning sensation everywhere and it makes overstimulation worse 💗

I love to headcanon Killer as acearo but I also think that if someone ever genuinely got angry on his behalf and absolutely wiped the floor with Nightmare in front of him he would swoon.

Like, that guy has a singular type and that's someone who can kick his and his enemies' ass but does only one of those (though he would find the other one fun and would be fully on board with it sometimes, he just needs someone who can spot when those times are).

With how their whole positivity/negativity thing works (and that they're the only ones who can mortally wound each other), what if Dream and Nightmare aren't able to physically touch anymore?

Imagine, in the past, the brothers' main love language was physical touch (hugs, play fighting, etc). But after they ate the apples, the negativity and positivity act like poison to the other as a defense mechanism.

Any prolonged contact will burn Dream and make Nightmare's corruption boil and melt. It is extremely painful for both of them.

Imagine how this affects them in Parallel Synthesis.

When after all the fighting, after they've settled on a truce, after they've found peace and are able to actually be brothers again,

there will always be that one thing they can never have back.

Btw this takes place during the lunch meeting mentioned here! The stars and the gang decided to have an outdoors lunch :]

You know how Nightmare canonically has had three different Killers over the years? I like to headcanon that fanon Nightmare also had three Killers and it just shows his progression.

Like, the first Killer he found was when he was still very much hateful of everything after the incident, and so he doesn’t really care exactly what happens to him (like in Underverse), and that is what eventually leads to the first Killers death.

The second Killer he was more strict with, realizing he “wasted potential”. But that drives this Killer to run off with Color and get his happy ending and escapes like in the comics.

And lastly the third Killer that we know and love is when Nightmare finally figures out that if he wants loyalty he actually has to SOMEWHAT take care of them. This is when Nightmare starts to view him less like a tool that needs taken care of and more like an individual. He had his mess ups, but Nightmare starts to actually CARE about Killer. And realizing how much he needs him around causes him to steadily build up the Bad Sanses to what we know and love today.

Don’t get me wrong, I really love the idea of him immediately saving Killer and then learning together… but I also like the concept that it takes time, and Nightmare was FAR from in the perfect mindset after the incident. I also am a sucker for angst. I also like to imagine he tries to make amends with the second Killer when he realizes how wrong he was… but I think I’ve rambled enough… Anyways!
