Kilkerran : Heavily peated Om meteen met de deur in huis te vallen: deze Kilkerran Heavily Peated is een stevig beestje. De naam zegt het zelf al, hij is zwaar geturfd en op vatsterkte gebotteld. We hebben het over 84ppm turf en 59,3% alcoholpercentage. Zoals we al zeiden, stevig dus, zeker als je weet dat bijv Laphroaig op zo’n 40ppm zit, en een gemiddelde Ardbeg op zowat 50ppm. Gerijpt op een mix van ex-bourbon (55%) en ex-sherry (45%), en slechts 3 jaar oud.
