Meet Kiko Togami. She is very similar to Makoto in both appearance and personality, and I picture that actually being very comforting for Byakuya, and him instantly but subconsciously being drawn to her because of those aspects.

Byakuya doesn't know how to handle such intense levels of joy like this, especially with such a tiny hand holding your finger like that.

So- Danganronpa became a big enough fandom for me that I decided to make a side blog for it! And because…I need a community my dudes

ME:

I’m @snickerzanddoodlez, you can call me whatever you’d like! I’ve finished the first and second games, but I intend to complete the series so please avoid spoilers for DGv3 past Chapter 5 when interacting with me! I did finish the Danganronpa 3 anime (you know, with the different arcs) though!

My favorite characters are Teruteru, Gundham, Ryoma, Byakuya, Kaito, Yasuhiro, and Togami! Fuyuhiko, Gonta, Kokichi, and Monokuma are very close behind :) (NOTE: I don’t support all of these characters’ actions! You know who this disclaimer is about, haha! And my affection of said individual doesn’t exactly extend to the End of Hope’s Peak Academy anime…) Also, I haven’t played Danganronpa v3 yet, but I think I’ll like that weird little guy who looks like Mineta

I’m a Warrior Cats veteran, so…the things I make might end up being a little weird!

You know what I'd like to see? More of Kiko and her story. What was it like when Kamakura discovered he was pregnant? How did Servant react? What was it like for Makoto etc, to discover and look after Kiko while her dads were in the NWP? There's so many ideas I'd love to see with her and her dads that would be really cool.

If Izuru didn’t want to conceive a baby, they wouldn’t have. They just…know these things. They had intentionally tried to get a baby because they heard pregnancy was a unique ordeal that involved lots of new emotions and experiences. Basically: they were bored. Kiko came along very early in theirs and servant’s relationship, but servant was the one that Izuru trusted the most to be the father.

Servant rapidly switches between extreme excitement and happiness for creating life with his beloved and self hatred for “corrupting their beautiful hope”. Both did their best in parenting but Izuru was still learning emotional connections and servant was kinda busy being a disaster. Also it was the apocalypse.

The WOH generally were happy to have another sibling. But needed supervision with Kiko cuz they kept putting her in danger. Monica was jealous and intentionally tried to hurt her so she’s not allowed near Kiko. Junko is SUPER not allowed near Kiko due to being pretty terrible to her

Makoto was very surprised to find that the two incredibly deadly remnants of despair had a toddler and were seemingly very loving and protective towards her. Servant had multiple breakdowns when he was away from his baby and Izuru just sat silently, stewing, on the way to the program. Makoto and the others juggled taking care of Kiko while managing the program. Kiko called Makoto “eggy” and he became a sort of uncle to her, even though she was often missing her parents. Byakuya was an unwilling babysitter a lot and was generally the target of kikos boredom.

(Oh yeah Kiko has a lesser level of ultimate talent)

:0 omg I love Kiko so much!!! Could you describe her relationship with her parents? What does she like to do with them? Does she want to go to hopes peak or is she happy going to a normal school? What’s her relationship with the other survivors like?

She has a very good relationship with both her parents. Despite their opposing personalities and interests, Kiko is able to bond with both of them over different things and gain a variety of hobbies and traits because of that.

She enjoys listening to Byakuya playing music ever since she was a baby. While she can play certain instruments as well, she prefers hearing him play.

Makoto is definitely the affectionate type with Kiko. He loves to give her kisses, hugs, and blow raspberries on her belly when she was younger. She likes to him a lot of hugs in return.

Byakuya reads to her every night. I imagine he taught her to read as early as possible, but not under harsh circumstances like his own upbringing. Thanks to him, she grows up to love reading all sorts of books.

The problems Kiko has with Byakuya are when he would be too demanding and strict. She is also not afraid to tell him off when he's being rude to others.

The problem Kiko has with Makoto is when he is being too smothering with his affection, but when she gets older, she starts having a problem with him sometimes being too conflict-averse with her. While she doesn't like conflict herself, she also dislikes when people keep quiet about things instead of speaking to her directly.

While she is fascinated by Hope's Peak, she is perfectly content with not attending. Being a Togami, Byakuya makes sure she gets the best education regardless.

I love the idea of the Class 78 survivors being like an extended family to her. Especially since she wouldn't know anyone from her actual family besides her parents and Komaru. [I plan on doing a whole separate post on her individual relationships with each of them.]

Kyoko and Kiko are especially close. The role Kyoko has with her is similar to that of a godmother.
