- during the summer there were a lot of scenarios where the dekusquad would just hang

- whether that be at the pool, the mall, training, etc

- and it'd always be as a group, that's why when izuku told you he'd have a friend over, YOU WERE SURPRISED

- it's been a while since he invited someone over.. years..

- of course you took this as an opportunity to tease your dear brother

- "oooh~ are they a girl?" cue wiggling eyebrows

- "N-NO, he's just a friend, onee-chan!!"

- "OH WOW, so it's like that, huh? why didn't you tell me izuku?" "IT'S NOT LIKE THAT—"

- you of course help clean up the house and prepare snacks, and like the sweet little brother he is, asks if you want to stay, but you wouldn't want to intrude so you tell him you'll be in your room

- timeskip to todoroki arriving at 6pm on the dot

- izuku is changing so you decide to open the door

- "hey, are you todoroki?"

- he blinks at you

- how do you know his name? who are you? he thought it was only gonna be him and izuku? despite his questions, he keeps a calm face on, "yes."

- you lead him in "wait here, I'll tell izuku you're here."

- you're on first name basis? who is this girl?

- izuku finally steps out

- you say bye to the both of them and step into your room

- ummm izuku never told you he had hot friends 😐

- as it gets later, they both talk about random stuff and eventually todoroki can't take it anymore and he pops the question

- "who was she?" "huh? who?" "that girl who answered the door." "oh, that's my sister, [name]."

- bruh

- ...

- BRUHHHHHHH

- NO WONDER THEY'RE ON FIRST NAME BASIS THEYRE S I B L I N G S

- he gets a pass for being dumb tho, you both look nothing alike 💔

- "oh, okay." he's a little relieved that you guys aren't anything else, because he thinks you're pretty

- not even gonna hide it

- it's finally time for bed and todoroki insists izuku sleeps on his own bed & that he'll be fine in a sleeping bag

- izuku reluctantly agreed and falls asleep relatively quick

- while todoroki has you on his mind

- he hasn't seen you since you opened the door for him

- he wants to see you again but it's totally not his place to go and knock at your door without a plausible reason

- instead, he goes to get a drink of water

- as he's walking towards the kitchen, he spots you, your face illuminated by the moonlight

- all he could think was w o a h

- he might've underestimated your beauty

- his fire side noticably warms up, and you're the first to worry

- "a-are you okay!?"

- "yes, im fine. i came to get some water." you turn around and hand him a cup, gesturing towards the fridge

- he fills it up and you both stand there in silence.

- then literally out of nowhere you snap

- "can i get your number?"

- he blinks at you

- "my...number? what do you mean?"

- is he teasing you?? 🧐🤨🤔

- "i mean your phone number, dummy."

- "okay."

- so BLUNT

- he hands you his phone and you input your contact as "[name] 😈🗣️✋🏾❤️😎🙏🏾🙂🙈🥳😇😍😼😘"

- "thanks!" you smile at him and you swear you saw him smile back before nodding and leaving

- after that, you guys start to talk a lot and he just falls more head over heels for you

- you're a second year so the age gap isn't large

- daily gm & gn texts

- a lot of trust is gained

- Google searches include: why does my heart go faster when i get a text from a girl; why is she so pretty; why do i feel like this; what is wrong with me

- eventually, after not getting satisfying responses, he turns to you, his reliable source, and asks you the first question.

- you text him, "you have a crush, todoroki."

- "oh. what do i do?"

- "confess to her!! who's the lucky girl? 🙈��"

- "it's you."

Yoongi x oc

Genre : Angst, fluff

Summary : Yoongi is stressed over others’ expectations of him and you try to calm him down and remind him his worth.

Word count : 900+ words

A/N : I found this in my drafts and i think it’s complete on its own. I for sure had written this after “Shadow” was released and well, so much time has passed but i had yet to post it. So here it is. I’M FINALLY POSTING SOME OF MY WORK!!! I really hope that someone will read this! I feel like this is like a short letter i would write to Yoongi to read if he ever feels down and critical of his work as an artist. Have fun!

The fear was evident in his voice, in his posture. Stress eating him alive. The conversation wasn’t going well until now. You had let him express his fears but you knew he was stronger than them, he could fight these thoughts.

“No, please, hear me out” you cut his train of thought “Let me finish, please, babe” You felt his hand squeezing yours and his eyes staring straight to your heart. His head nodding a small yes. “It’s scary now, yes. If you weren’t scared, you would be arrogant, which you’re not, none of your team is, or you would ignore the success you have already made. Your progress is unbelievable. I’ve seen your journey and I know how few people believed in you and how even fewer even imagined such a bliss. But that doesn’t mean that now is necessarily your peak. Your journey hasn’t ended yet”

“But the expectations -” he tried to continue his rambling through trembling lips.

“Screw them, baby. Screw the expectations, screw the people, screw everyone.” you replied louder.

“You don’t understand” he told you as he tried to lift himself up to leave. You couldn’t let him go in such a state, it was a sure thing you could help him get out of this mess.

“Babe, you said you would let me finish and I still haven’t gotten to my point.” With this, he sat back down reluctantly. “What are you doing? You’re working. And you’re seriously overworking yourself, but let’s not get to that now. I’m sure it’s more than just work, it’s your life, and I understand and completely support you on that. But humans have the right to work. It’s not your responsibility. You have deliberately chosen to work, you want to do this, to make your life full filing, to pursue your dreams.” With this, you got him to look back at you.

“Who are you doing this for? You’re not doing this for the people, for your family, for the charts or the awards, for the fans. Maybe all of them came along the way. But you are the start and the end of you. You’re doing this for you. Because you love music and you get to express yourself through the art of it. And you’re doing it so good.” With that you took his hand back in yours.

“No awards or charts or whatever achievements can measure your worth. Because you inspire people, Yoongi. You inspire people to be better. To follow their hearts and do what they want to. To think. To live. People listen to your music and feel free. And the ARMYs. They love you so so much. Because you are their friend. You are their voice in society. You are the shoulder they cry on. You are their friend who makes them laugh and smile even in the hardest of times.” He could hear your sincerity. His bottom lip started trembling again.

“And i can imagine that you’re a celebrity after being an artist and it’s exhausting living like this, feeling like you’re always being watched. But babe, you’re just a human. Your limits make you human. Your flaws make you human. Your mistakes make you human. And all of these make you just beautiful. Cause babe, it’s you.”

His eyes started to water at that last sentence and before he could replied you took both his hands in yours and kissed them, first on the back and then on the palm.

“I know it’s hard right now. And it’s been hard before. And it’s going to be hard in the future too. I can’t promise you that’s it’s not. But what i can and will promise you is that you’ll have me. And the team. And the armys. And most importantly, you. You’ll always have you. And the next time you’ll have endured another hardship that was on your way and you’re going to be even stronger.” You hadn’t left his hands all this time and now you just shook them left and right like two kids playing. “I know you will.”

Yoongi was the person that has gotten you through some very dark times. Maybe he wasn’t always good with talking, processing and expressing emotions, but he was always there for you, when you needed him. And now it was your time to be there for him.

Silent tears had wetted his cheeks. He was never the crying type but this time his stress had to be released somehow and this was the only way. You touched his cheeks, wiping the tears. He brought his hands up and held yours, kissing your right palm.

When he spoke, his voice was hoarse. “Thank you”. Simple and honest. You brought yourself closer to him and hugged him tightly. His face resting on your shoulder. It felt like your arms were made to be around him. His arms holding you tightly by the waist was a feeling so familiar and warm. It felt like home.

Letting you go, only for you to look each other in the eyes again, “I can’t imagine being without you” he spoke softly.

“Well you don’t have to, cause I’m right here, with no plans to go away” you smiled and pecked his lips.

Nothing but a small peck seemed just perfect at the moment. Simple and honest.

“I love you”. His words were quiet but clear.

“I love you, too, babe” you responded and suggested sleeping, which was happily welcomed by the black-haired boy.
