⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ There is chatter amongst the walls of the Comodeen to the sound of a familiar voice. One he has not heard in some time and somehow he finds himself believing that his mind might be playing tricks on him to have heard it. To have heard her.
What is she - why is she - back in Wonderland?
He's not upset at the notion but at the same time he can't help but bring himself to worry because anyone who is dear to him, well worrying is just something he naturally does... and while they were not as close as he would have liked the bond was still building slowly and he would to build it even more.
So sharply tuned ears have him floating through the halls as silently as he does until he finds the source of the sound. A young woman with deep black hair clad in a shade of orange he has to admit he's always been fond of.
"Miss Lisa?" He chimes in a sing song sort of question. "You're back."
A slight smile on hidden lips as starts to bloom on his features.
"It's been some time, are you well?"

⋆୨𖤓୧⋆ He doesn't need to be told she's here to know. He doesn't need to see her to either. Even if the woman of the spirit's flow has made her way into the sight of the wind just yet, he knows she's here because White Cloud seems lighter. White Cloud was brighter in recent days and he doesn't know if that meant that his counter could metaphorically dump his troubles into the woman's lap but it was no doubt that something of the like happened with the way the younger was acting.
She's been here for a few days and he's made no attempt to find her. She would meet him as needed and it seemed that Bahamut be blessed, now was that time. They haven't locked eyes since he brandished vörös at her and demanded she stay behind the last time he went to fight Chaos with the cloud at his side. That had been too messy and the seals weren't holding.
White Cloud could not and would not take another seal.
He wouldn't allow it. If his Other took another seal who knows if his soul would survive the damage. He would not put it past the beast to smash out what remained of the shattering mirror of white during the struggle. White Cloud can not and would not take another seal and he'll fight the swordsman to the grave about it.
It's not doing any of them any good if he was dead. There was nothing noble about throwing himself on the fire in order to protect those around him and he was hoping that maybe Lisa being here could grind that into that cloudy head of his.
He's found her standing in a room with a few of the others. Knave ... and the woman with purple hair who only give him a half frown and excuse themselves from the area as if they know he and Lisa need to have a conversation far more than anything they could have been already speaking of and cold blue take their time to take in the sight of her.
Her soul feels different. As it had after she rendered it to energy in order to save the submarine all this time ago. She feels like White Cloud but at the same time not and he can't quite put his finger on it but something tells him it will come to their advantage in the future. Even more so when he can hear Bahamut laughing in the back of his head. The old man is being as cryptic as usual.
"Why have you come back?"

˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊Somehow seeing Lisa isn't as surprising as it should have been. Somehow seeing Lisa seemed normal. Just as normal as it was becoming to see Kaze or Kumo or Both come back injured from their trips in ways that no normal person could have survived. Both of them were like dealing with the walking dead at times so seeing Lisa pop out from behind the corner was a welcome surprise.
He's sighing in relief that something large isn't getting added to his plate at the moment and he can set the project in his hands down to tend to something far more ... Normal.
"Lisa." He smiles. "It's so good to see you. I'm glad you found your way back to us." He continues as he motions to a chair next to his desk.
"Kumo's right. I like to have my baseline and it's easier to keep up with everyone's health when I have a few check ups done and in the books. Take a seat and I'll check you over. It shouldn't take long. Just a quick assessment of where we're setting right now."
"It's not like... a huge favor or anything, just slight, with a surprise kinda mixed into the favor- screw it, lemme just show you," Miles said, soon pulling Lisa into sight, smiling at Cid. "She's back!"
"It's not a big deal," Lisa said, although Miles' antics were putting a smile on her face no matter what she said. "In truth, I've been back for a while, but of course finding the Comodeen wasn't exactly easy. Kumo seemed worried and thought I should come to you since I've been here for a few months," Lisa explained.
"And he's right," Miles pointed out.
"Really, I'm alright, honestly the worst of getting here was trying to get to Wonderland," Lisa said, "but regardless, I did say I would come to you to be on the safe side. Plus, it's really good to see you again," she added, smiling.

·:¨༺ ✩★✩ ༻¨:·. She's a new face and she looks lost in thought. It's not often that he sees other faces in the library except for maybe Pilvi or Sinfonia. She seems like she's looking for something and he wonders if she's always been here or if he merely hasn't seen her with the way he's been setting in his room for most of the time he's been here thanks to the difficulty he had in getting around on his own.
"Excuse me, Miss." he sounds for just across the room, hoping he isn't being too loud but also just loud enough to get her attention without startling her. "I'm afraid I don't know your face and I'm still meeting everyone who lives in this place. Have you been here long or are you new to come to this place?"
He's trying to remember how the people here greet each other but he's falling back on habits as his hands move in two arcs and his hands end flat palm against he each other as he smiles with the slightest tip of his horns.
"I'm Valo." He smiles behind the mask covering his face. "I was looking for a book, do you think you could help me for a moment?"

⋯✧・♪♫♪・✧⋯ They both went tumbling to the ground and slowly he scrapes himself off the ground, and turns to help the young lady up as well. She smiles, introduces herself as Lisa and he wonders for half a moment what world she hails from and then decides he doesn't really care because they're all stuck here nonetheless. Even if he knew where she came from, that wouldn't change the fact that it was highly unlikely that any of them would be going back - and on the off chance that she could - he would rather not know because it would only leave a bitter taste in his mouth.
"Ah, no problem. Hauska Tavata, Lisa. I'm Sinfonia." There's a pause in his voice as he looks from one side to the other and then back again with a bit of confusion lurking in a citrine gaze.
"You wouldn't happen to know where that blond man is? The doctor? He wanted to see me, but I'm completely lost in this damn place."

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ Miss Lisa has been here a few months and the feeling of Revon's hand on his shoulder has the previous anger bubbling right out him. Somehow, just having that man next to him makes his worries melt away. Somehow, having him there so he can hear his frequency is enough to cause the misty prince's entire body to relax with a sigh. He's still upset. He still feels like she invaded his privacy but he doesn't feel the urge to scream bubbling up in the back of his throat. Something about Revon just allows him to find his calm and realize that he knows Miss Lisa was not trying to cause him undue harm.
She's probably just as frustrated as he is, if she's been here for as long as he's assuming. Being stuck out in Wonderland alone for that long had to have been hell. How she survived on her own - he has to commend her for that in all honesty.
"A couple of months?" The knight sounds in question and the prince watches as he can see hidden lips moving to hang into a frown he doesn't need to see to know it's there. "That's some time."
But it's not what they've experienced and he's sure his prime is struggling to find the place in his heart that isn't slightly bitter over the idea of having been here on her own for only a couple months, when it was only a couple of months ago that his binds had finally found a place they could call safe.
Anytime in this hell on one's own is bad enough in his opinion and he's grateful that she wasn't out there longer. At least she can't go sour like his binds can.
"You should speak with Cid then, before Black Wind." He sounds with a pause and the previous aggression faded from his tone. "To make sure you're alright. He'll want a baseline so he can keep track of your health if you plan on staying here much longer. You're welcome as always, Miss Lisa. I apologize for my outburst."
She's watching the two converse, unsure of what they're saying for some parts of the conversation. When Kumo brings up how they met, she can't help but to look away briefly. It wasn't exactly the best of circumstances... Or even good for that matter. Honestly if she tried hard enough she could probably convince herself it was some kind of dream given the chaotic nature of everything that happened, although she'd have to want to do that.
As wild and not-so-great as it all was, she was glad to have met them, glad to have wound up in Wonderland, at least by the end of it all. It was far better than being on her own on Earth, stuck like a puppet on strings doing whatever her father wanted and nothing more.
And now she felt as though she had surely messed things up with Kumo before she could even really befriend him. As the two continued to converse, and Ai and Yu were mentioned, she couldn't help but smile a bit at the confusion around their names.
Yeah, I suppose that's fair...
"I'm not sure exactly how long it's been. I know it's been a while though... A few months at the very least," she answered Revon.
"I wish I had a more exact answer, but I wasn't really focused on how long I was here once I came back to Wonderland. I really only had two goals, and one of them was to get to the Comodeen and help however I could."
She only hoped she'd still be able to help, and that hopefully Kaze was going to be receptive to that rather than try to fight her on it when she would inevitably cross paths with him.

.·:¨༺ ✩★✩ ༻¨:·. He's gone before she can say another word and the anger on his face is clearly what is out powering the pain rocketing up the his left leg. Every step feels like fire but he doesn't care because the only thing he can think to do is get away from that woman before he conducts himself in any way that would further be so unbecoming. He's had it far past his limits when dealing with how the people in this place treat the literal King of his people, let alone the boy he raised.
They all are beyond excuse at this point so it's all he can do to drop himself down in a seat in the dining hall when he sees a fluffy head of white setting in that very room.
"Opettaja?" The younger asks as he pauses in his endeavor with the tiny creatures in the bowl that Pilvi seems to love so much only to change the focus on jade eyes directly to him. (teacher)
"Are you alright? You look angry and you were limping. Should you even be out of bed? If you're hungry I can get you something."
"Why do you allow them all to treat you like this?"
"What?"
"That woman and the rest of them. The humans. They treat you so poorly, never use your name, they translate your name and - and none of them ever refer to you by title like they should be."
"Are you really that upset about it? They translate my name because I told them to and they don't use my title because I never gave it to them."
"Why though?"
"Because I didn't want them to treat me any differently. I didn't want them to think I was higher than them or better than them in any way. Human Kings don't bow apparently and apparently they don't even consider Kings and Knights real anymore. They call them a thing of fairy tales and children's stories."
"What?"
"I know it was hard for me to wrap my head around too but that's how it is in their culture, so if I just told them I'm a King and expected them to treat me like one, they would get all uncomfortable around me and be scared of me and I didn't want that. I just wanted them to treat me like everyone else, so I didn't tell them."
"...I see." He pauses as he rolls this information around in his brain for a moment. "I might have made a mistake."
He watches as white brows raise and thin lips fall into a half frown while the prince sounds again.
"What kind of mistake? Which woman?"
"The human with injuries in orange and darkly colored hair. She said her name was -"
"Lisa? You're mad at Lisa?"
"She was so rude, Highness. She made it sound like you were friends and then you are not and she translated your name and called you that other name and she called you a boy. "
"You call me a boy."
"Joo, I do but you're my boy. I raised you. I have those rights."
"You don't get mad when Sielu or Aamunkoitto or Revon -"
"Pilvi you are quite literally our son by soul, we get to call you a boy and baby you. You're an adult, yes, we all acknowledge this but you are our baby. We raised you, so we get those rights by default."
"What about Setä then?" (uncle (sinfonia))
"You really think I'm going to tell him he can't baby you. He is literally your blood. He can do whatever he wants."
"So then you're only mad when people who aren't Misterican do it? Black Wind translates my name."
"I - did you tell him to?"
"Ei, and he speaks our tongue, but he does it any way." (no)
"But you just translated his."
"I know. He doesn't mind, and I don't mind being called White Cloud. It doesn't make me angry and quite frankly I don't want anyone around here to call Valkoinen Pilvi anyway. Kain knows my name and that's all that matters to me. As for 'Kumo' it means Cloud in a language from Earth called Japanese. Two of my friends, a pair of twin children gave it to me. That's where 'Kaze' comes from. It means Wind in their tongue. It's better than being called Makenshi."
"Who calls you Makenshi?"
"The whole of Wonderland thanks to His Excellency and if I had to pick between Makenshi or Kumo, I would very much prefer to be called Kumo."
"So it doesn't bother you then?"
"Ei, it doesn't." (no)
"And you don't want them to address you by title."
"Correct. No titles. I don't need them to think they need to suddenly be formal around me because they think I'm better than them or some other crazy reason."
"And you are not friends with that Lisa woman?"
"We're sort of friends. It's complicated. I was stuck under His Excellency's thumb at the time I met her and we were sort-of enemies for a while. Not by my choice though. When I pulled away from His Excellency and betrayed them to bring Lisa and the Comodeen information they needed, and to protect them, she was one of the first ones to trust me. Everyone here used to exclusively call me Makenshi, but when Cid found out I preferred Kumo and what Makenshi means he corrected everyone as quickly as possible."
"The doctor - Cid - he corrected them for you?"
The prince is nodding in confirmation as he smiles.
"He did, and Miss Lisa hasn't seen me in some time. The last we saw each other wasn't on the best standings thanks to Black Wind but she was one of the first to change how she referred to me. I would like to be friends with her but we've never been in a position to talk much. I got ... injured.... quite severely a few times and both were in her presence. She's seen me come back from the dead, Valo, so it's understandable if she's still a bit rattled and trying to wrap her mind around me.
She's seen me do some very extortionary things in comparison to a human. She's flawed like the rest of us and very obviously gone through plenty of her own trauma since the last I saw her. She didn't have so many scars compared to the last time. You didn't yell at her, did you?"
His shoulders are dropping along with his head the more his liege explains and it seems there's so much that's happened that he doesn't know from the last time he saw this boy. The last time he got to hold him in his arms. Pilvi is his boy and he always will be but he's also a man now even if his face hasn't aged a day.
"You did, didn't you?"
There's a small nod as they both sigh.
"Do you want me to explain for you, or will you do it?"
"I can do it."
"You know you owe her an apology."
"I do."
"Do you want me to come with you?"
"I would like that, honestly. My leg is ... sore."
"You walked on it, I'm not surprised. I'll go with you. Don't worry, I'm sure she'll understand."
"Kiitos minun Pilveni." (thank you my Pilvi)
Lisa frowns as he begins to speak, opening her mouth to speak when she thought he had finished, but quickly just keeping her mouth shut and remaining silent as he continues. She hadn't meant to make excuses, or to apologize as a way to get out of the situation...
"I wasn't trying to do anything, I-" she began to try and explain, hell even apologize again, but she had a feeling it wasn't going to matter. She sighed after she spoke, and just shook her head, deciding it was best to just drop it. She wasn't quite sure what she could say right now that would be the right thing, so she just stopped while she still could...
She gathered the books she had gotten down for him, putting them all back where she found them. She wasn't really sure where she was going wrong. Even apologizing just came across as excuses, and now she had what Valo said to think about...
'Then he doesn't want you to know...'
It wasn't exactly surprising... She hadn't really had time to get to know him before, of course he wouldn't trust her with much. But now it just felt like she had deliberately done something to be deemed untrustworthy, and it definitely seemed her return was going a bit poorly in comparison to what she imagined...
She wasn't even certain how she imagined it going. She had been so focused on getting there and surviving Wonderland that everything else took a backseat... And now she was somewhat kicking herself for not anticipating more changes.
She shook her head again, like she was trying to just get herself together, and she went back to looking for the same thing she had before she and Valo began talking...

⋯✧・♪♫♪・✧⋯ She says it's an old wound like Kummisetä does when he talks about isä, so that means even if it is old, the connotations behind it still hurts. Whatever it is and whatever happened isn't his business and he isn't one to press. Not someone he just met any way. Not like someone who needs pressing - like Sielu or Valo.
Neither one of them will just tell you things if they're determined to keep it under wraps enough. Neither one of them will tell you when they're hurting or they need help. They would much rather say in bed and claim to be fine or morph into a small mound blankets turned monster as the creature beneath hisses at all who get too close.
Regardless, he follows her. She is at least kind enough to show him the way and soon they have rounded enough corners to find the blond man who asked for him earlier but also too many that he doesn't know if he'll be able to find his way back to his own room on his own.
The blond turns around, a smile on his lips as indigo eyes that remind him far too much of his bonded Isä and Kummisetä to make him comfortable look back at him with a smile that is as equally bright. He doesn't know how he never noticed before and he blames the sourness and the medication from preventing him to realize his man's eyes look just like Kummisetä and it makes his heart ache a little at the thought.
He - misses him more than ever. He would much rather be taking a seat to speak with him about his health than this stranger.
"Ah - come in - Si - Sinfonia? Like Symphony? I got that right, yes? Please tell me I got it right."
He sighs as he takes a seat, nodding at the man's question. "I told you last time, it means Symphony. "
"Right, right." He's looking over his shoulder for a moment as he fixes his gaze on the woman behind him. "Lisa you can come in, you don't need to linger in the doorway. It won't be long. I just need to check his wrists now that he's more upright."
She froze as he spoke, looking back at him. They weren't far from Cid's office, and she was taken aback by what he had said. It wasn't like it was rude or anything. He seemed concerned- about her. She frowned a bit at what he said, though...
"I-" She looked down at her own hands, scarred both from a gunshot wound and her own fire that had gotten too much for her, not that she had cared in the moment, but it certainly caused her issues when she first got back to Wonderland. She could only assume it was the scarring he was talking about. She wasn't sure what else he could be referring to. "Well, if you mean this, I assure you it's fine... It didn't heal as well as it could have, but it's an old wound, nothing to worry about by any means."
"And no, my home hasn't been destroyed... But it also isn't safe for me to be there anymore... I've been in Wonderland for a few months now, but I haven't been back at the Comodeen long," she explained, just as they came up to Cid's office.
"Hey, Cid, you've got someone who needs to see you," she said, knocking on his door, and smiling as they entered the office..

·:¨༺ ✩★✩ ༻¨:·. He's sighing as he listens, arms crossing over his chest as his shoulders tense. Lips pull down into a low frown as she continues going around and around in circles repeating the same phrase over and over again matched with nothing but excuses and ignorance.
Are all humans like this? Someone needs to teach this woman how to speak properly lest he have to do it himself.
"You speak those words like a broken record." He states plainly. "Whether you were aware of the rudeness of an action or not, all your assumptions did for you was poor manners and broken trust no doubt. If the prince hasn't told you anything, then he obviously doesn't want you to know."
He's shifting his weight to one side as he hisses looking the woman up from head to toe and back again before he lets out a deep sigh as if to show how put out he is over the whole ordeal.
"His Highness probably didn't tell any of you his name because he's protecting it. So his lack of correcting you was less about whether or not that you guessed correctly and more about keeping himself safe from people he plainly doesn't trust.
So it's more than obvious that it isn't my forgiveness you should be asking for and spewing the words like that of The Life's Spiral isn't really accomplishing anything except letting their meaning and weight fade by the second.
If you're going to say something like an apology, you should mean it before you let it pass your lips. Only children spout it to get out trouble, and I taught Pilvi better than that when he was five."
He's rolling his around in a complete circle as he groans that he should have to explain this to someone who thought themselves more adult than the actual child he raised.
"I'm sure Pilvi can give me more direction on the book I was looking for. Kiitos for the attempted assistance anyway."
And he's walking out the door with a bit of a limp on left side.
She sees his face wrinkle up and she's already regretting whatever the hell she has said now. It's starting to feel like she just can't get this right.
"I didn't realize it was informal, I just-" Now he's rattling off questions on how well she knows Kumo and informing her that translating his name is rude- Kumo is in his thirties? That feels impossible, but it certainly isn't the main thing to worry about right now.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..," she's putting her hands up slightly as she speaks, hoping to defuse this before she really has too and hoping not to offend him like she seems to have done, "I had no idea that was rude to do, I apologize. And no, I don't think I'd say we're close. He didn't tell me to call him that," she begins.
"The children I mentioned before, Ai and Yu, are the ones who started calling him that and the name stuck, he never corrected them, or anyone else saying the name, I just assumed they either guessed correctly or didn't mind. And where we are from, some names have meanings but they don't have to, and they usually aren't so important that it would be rude to translate... I'm sorry for doing that, I had no idea."
She sighed softly, leaning only slightly on the shelf behind her. "I don't know if he considers us friends quite yet.. I was gone for some time, right around when he came around here more often, so I couldn't tell you about how everyone else acts around him. I'd like to be his friend, though... But no, I haven't been told any large amount about your culture, or that he was, essentially, your king."
She pushed her hair from her face just for it to fall back in place, not that it really mattered right now.
"Forgive me, please, I'll be more respectful now that I know... In all fairness I also only called him a 'boy' because I thought he was about my age if not younger... I'm twenty-four and I thought he couldn't be much older, I'm sorry for that too. I guess it was silly to assume based on the human lifespan when you all aren't human, so I apologize."

⋯✧・♪♫♪・✧⋯ There's something about the way she talks that strikes him in a way that tells him even if she had struggles elsewhere she might not have had them here. Has she been in this world long? Why is she here? Did her home get destroyed too? Maybe it was so fresh, it hasn't all set in yet. He used to carry around the naive belief many years ago that Misterica was still in one piece and there would be a way to find something to go back to but he's not so blinded anymore.
He's heard - Silencer's heard - much that would make him think otherwise.
But he almost doesn't know if he should ask. He almost doesn't know if he should bring it up or how and she's offering helping to him but he doesn't quite know in which sense she means it. Help with just basic things or help-help.
He doesn't know if he wants anyone non-Misterican helping him with anything large anyway. Just that yellow human... he thinks Cid was his name. He doesn't understand humans at all.
And this one - she - looks like she's seen better days.
"I - " He starts with an awkward drawl of his voice. "- was going to ask you if you could help me find that doctor's office but it almost looks like you need him more than I do." He makes a comment with an awkward laugh.
"Have you been here long?" His eyes drop as he continues, while hands keep playing with the ring on his finger. He's never away from Sielu long and right now feels even more awkward now that he is. He doesn't like being away from him at all but he was sound asleep and he didn't want to wake him when this wasn't supposed to take long.
"Did - is your world gone too?"
"That... Sounds really lovely... I'm so sorry you two weren't able to do the dance before everything happened... I know it's unlikely, but maybe it could be replicated some day," Lisa stated softly, listening to him explain it all.
She could only imagine how they felt- their home being destroyed, having been separated in Wonderland of all places... The closest she had ever come to that was her father sending for her and bringing her to Russia after her mother's death, which he caused, and it was nowhere near comparable to what the Mistericans had experienced in the downfall of their world.
Not to mention; Despite her journey back to the Comodeen leaving her on her own as well out in Wonderland, it was still of her own accord, even if staying on Earth didn't seem like much of an option, it still was... A terrible option, but an option nonetheless.
"If you ever need help with anything, I'm always here. I know we just met, but the offer stands just the same," she stated, smiling at him.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ He knows full well once Revon has him on his own they will be talking about this later. It's not often the prince of the clouds drops such foul words in their mother tongue. It's not often that he drops foul words at all. But for now he can feel Revon's presence looking over him and it's only extenuated by the feeling of one very large hand coming down to rest both on and over the entirety of his right shoulder.
If there was ever a time in his life where he felt small, this was one of them. If his stature had not been made clear to Miss Lisa before this, it had now, though Black Wind had a similar effect when emphasizing such a thing.
"Tell me about your friend, My Liege. How did you meet?"
"...In worse ways than I like to think about."
He doesn't even need to look at the man to know the flat expression he's getting from him. He doesn't need to make eye contact to know that toxic lips are hanging low as ruby pink practically sighs at this words. There are things that he has not told even Revon of all people in this whole of this cosmos and the things Miss Lisa were prying at were only a few of those things.
"Ah - I see - I - "
"We used to be enemies, Revon. I don't care to think about it because it wasn't my choice. It's only been in recent days that I have got to speak to her of my own will - "
The man is sighing as he explains and shoulders are dropping as the young king makes it clear exactly where they all stand.
"- niin… ei ystäviä?" (so - not friends?)
"Tavallaan." (sort of)
"Näen." (I see)
The man of white sighs as the man of green looks the woman over. It was made plain to his guardian that he didn't know this woman quite as well as originally assumed and he can still hear that wicked little beast in the back of his mind
'You can only run for so long Little Cloud. I'll send them to bring you back to me and this woman might just sell you up the river if it means protecting everyone else. She's an outsider, you can't trust her. She thinks she's owed to know everything about you. About us. About the life you've lived. She thinks she's owed it just like all other humans do. You can't trust them. You can't trust her. She only cares about those children and the Black Wind... and she thinks she can pry whatever information she wants out of you. You won't be able to keep her out forever, my precious little bird. "
Not even Revon knows of the phantoms in his mind and he really doesn't want the man to know anyway. It's not an easy subject to talk about, let alone think about. So he might be calm to the untrained eye but deep within the corridors of the prince's mind he's panicking. Does Miss Lisa even understand the depths of invasion she just in acted? Somehow he doubts it.
"There are is a pair of twin children, Ai and You, who came to Wonderland looking for their parents and Miss Lisa assisted them. I met her through my encounters with them." "I and You?" "No no, Ai and Yu. It means love and courage in their language." The swordsman is pausing for a moment as he sighs. "Rakkautta ja rohkeutta, Revon, en minä ja sinä." (love and courage, revon, not I and you.)
He can see the gears turning in the elder's mind as he struggles to try to make sense of yet another language that is not his own.
"I think I understand... and they are your friends?"
"Joo." (yes)
"I see." The elder is turning his attention back to the woman in orange with a smile on hidden lips. "How long have you been here, Miss?"
The sudden swearing catches her off guard. Of course, she has no idea that he swore, but it was also clear he wasn't happy with her, and she wasn't even quite sure what it was she had said to set him off. She hadn't meant to, and only had the intention of making how she felt clear, although she supposed the opposite had happened.
Normally she could've gotten some idea of what was being said, she had an idea about other languages from Earth she didn't know, but what Kumo had spoken wasn't anything like what she knew from Earth. She only knew he must've been angry based on his tone and body language, and she wanted to try and fix it.
Dammit why couldn't he just tell her what she did wrong? Why couldn't she have just let it be?
Why the hell did I even say anything?!
"Kumo, I didn't-"
It was then that the other Misterican entered. He was a taller man, and his hair was notably bright green. He would've been pretty hard to miss in all honesty.
A soft sigh leaves her as she looked down briefly as the two spoke among themselves, cursing herself in her head for managing to upset Kumo. Then again maybe it was also foolish to have thought things were going to go smoothly.
She wanted to apologize for whatever she had said to upset him, but given what they had been discussing, she couldn't do that in front of Revon without having to come up with a lie on the spot, which meant Kumo would have to go along with it, and that could be sloppy given she didn't know the man well enough.
So, playing along like she wasn't frustrated with herself right now it was.
"It's nice to meet you, too, Revon," she told him, offering a small smile as she tried to relax.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ It's like something short circuits in his brain as he listens because the closer she gets to the end of her lecture the clearer he can feel phantom hands ghosting over his face. A lingering specter just behind him that she would never be none the wiser to ever knowing he was there. His constant companion even if the beast's true body was all the way on the other side of Wonderland right now and as his entire brain fries out into a malfunction it's as if he forgets to speak the proper tongue for a moment when he growls.
"Sinulla on vitun hermoja!" (You have some fucking nerve.)
His eyes narrow to slits as he hisses, his entire posture changing in an instant with arms coming to cross over his chest while his nose wrinkles up behind his mask and it's in that moment that the little beast speaks.
'Ooh listen to her Little Cloud. She thinks she can come between us. Can you believe this woman? She thinks she can take you away from me. She thinks she can just pry herself into your life in every place you don't want her. She thinks she's owed it even. So what will you do, my pet? Will you just tell her? Will you follow orders like the properly trained bird you are? Sing on command for her? Oh go ahead, Little Cloud. I know how much you love to sing.'
And there is every urge is his throat to simply scream at her for even daring to take from him what isn't hers to take. What she can have from him is limited and it's not because of whatever outlandish reason she's come up with in her mind. It's because he is his own person and he's is allowed to have privacy. She wants to know what was going on but doesn't even know his name.
She doesn't even know his name and with the way she's going about things, now he's determined to keep it that way. There is a man of green stepping into the door way at the sound of the prince of the clouds cussing in their native tongue and the tall knight looks over to them with a frown hanging down low on hidden lips.
"Is everything alright, My Liege?" The elder calls out only for a head of white to look back over his shoulder while jade dead locks onto ruby pink. There is a deep inhale into misty lungs as the swordsman takes a moment to compose himself before he answers.
"Joo. Everything is fine, Revon."
"Are you sure? That didn't sound fine."
"It's fine, I just - I'm -"
"Just take a moment to breathe and then introduce me to your - friend?"
Jade is looking back over to dark eyes as he sighs for a second time and a hand raises full of formality as he motions to the woman in orange to his side.
"This is Miss Lisa, Revon. She's a human from a planet called Earth."
The swordsman then switches his stance and his hand now raises to motion to the tall man of green standing in the door way.
"Miss Lisa, this is Revon. He is one of my soul binds. My prime bind. I think you humans would call him my vassal. He's a knight in service to me. Revon -... raised me."
Pink eyes soften as he tries to smile behind his mask.
"Hauska Tavata." He says with the slightest tip of his horns.
The prince is sighing through his nose as his shoulders drop and the anger seems short lived as it fades from his posture.
"He said, Nice to meet you."
She wouldn't pretend the events that separated them previously weren't frustrating... If not for the obvious that she could've been useful, for slightly more selfish reasons. Part of her knew they just didn't want her getting involved, for her own safety, and to potentially avoid the outburst that opened the portal to Wonderland. She understood that...
However, she couldn't shake the frustration that came from the issue as well.
It may have been selfish, no, it was, but she felt it regardless; Trying to make her stay made her feel alone. Alone, with no one to turn to. It wasn't as if she had family to turn to at home, the man she had once loved was dead due to Gaudium's actions, and she had no friends to turn to. She felt as though she was left alone without a chance to clean up the mess she helped make in her anger.
She wouldn't pretend she hadn't been reckless, but it didn't feel fitting regardless. And, while selfish in the grand scheme of things, she still felt she had every right to feel this way. They may have been trying to look out for her, and for the situation at hand, but in doing so they still managed to neglect what they would've been doing had she truly stayed behind.
She couldn't be entirely angry with them, but it was upsetting nonetheless.
Not to mention being somewhat kept in the dark to the true nature of all of this, which she feels is proven in him asking about Kaze. Kaze will either be blunt with her or won't tell her anything at all. It was hard to say which side of him she'd get. The silent, or the sharp tongue, that didn't worry about what was being said or if it sounded too harsh.
"I hope they are... They deserve to be alright and away from any mess here or at home... And yes, I don't really know how long exactly, I suppose I should've tried harder to keep up with how long it has been, but maybe it doesn't matter anyways..."
She thought for a moment before continuing, her gaze shifting to the ground with a sigh, as she closed her eyes to brace herself for her own words.
"No, he and I haven't spoken just yet. I'm sure we will eventually, although I imagine he won't be happy to see me. Even if I think he was wrong before, that doesn't mean his opinion of the situation has changed," she began, finally looking back up at him.
"Kumo, I know things are in disarray. I cannot be kept in the dark about anything if I'm going to help... I want you to be totally honest with me, please. Otherwise it will come to light some other way, and I'd much rather you and Kaze just be honest," she said finally, like the words were forcing themselves out, like she couldn't hold her tongue any longer.
"I don't know if you two are just worried about me, or me being reckless like I was before, but I can help. I will help. However that has to happen," she stated. There was a cracking in her voice, solely at the thought they maybe they wouldn't want her help, or would attempt to keep her from doing so again.
But she wouldn't let that happen. She didn't listen to Kaze before, and she had no intentions to do so now if they tried to refuse her assistance. She wasn't there for no reason, and they couldn't change that.
"I can't make you tell me anything you don't want to, but... I want you to know that regardless if I'm told of the full extent of what's happening or not, I will find out, and I'm here, even if you two don't like it."

⋆୨𖤓⋆ For being the spirit of water, she struggles to see her own reflection. The raging force of a tidal wave set on destroying all in it's path but the wind would not bend to such actions. The wind would not so much as quiver.
She needs to get it all out in the same way the Cloud needs to storm. To release the rains within them when they become too much to bear. They're both too emotional over things they seem to make more personal than they ought to be.
She seem to be upset about things that happened after he and White Cloud left to go fight Chaos for another time. She seems to be upset out things that happened outside of his knowledge or control. She seems to be erupting at his words due to invisible triggers he could have had no idea they were there. Even if he housed a God within him that did not make him omnipotent. He couldn't know what she won't tell him.
She seems to be upset about everything that happened with Gaudium's pawn and she seems to be directing months, no, years worth of anger at him for a single action. He can take claim to his own actions but he will not allow her to take her frustrations out on him that he has nothing to do with.
Poison dipped smiles. It never changes.
She's misconstrued half of what he was saying anyway all because her anger has blinded her to the truth. Part of him almost prefers the Cloud's crying when he gets heated because at the very least he knows his Other is actually listening.
So he allows her to erupt until there is nothing left. He allows her to spend until finally words cease as if she's let the lava clear from her lungs before cold icy eyes fix on her and he waits for a moment as if to make sure that the volcanic eruption is over.
"Do you look to me for vindication because you are unwilling to give it to yourself? Do my words carry such weight on your heart that you seek to find your self worth in within them? You say you are here to help but such a display has only served to nourish Chaos in ways only the foolhardy can. Does your justice live in your need to be correct? What purpose are you here for now that you have returned, Lisa? Why did you make the choice to return?"
He stands towering over her unmoving from his position with not even a waver in the tone his voice carries.
"You say you had no choice because White Cloud and I forced you to stay behind but if we truly did so, then why are you here? If we wanted you out of Wonderland for good, you would be."
Ignorance? He had some damn place to talk of ignorance. He couldn't even understand why she felt the way she did, why she was responding to him in such a way- or maybe he just didn't care, and she wasn't sure which it was, which almost added to the stirring emotions she felt right now.
"Seek blame? Are you joking right now?" She couldn't quite explain the anger he brought up, but it felt like he had just poured gasoline on a fire and sat back while it erupted...
"I came back to help, Kaze, something you clearly seem to think I can't do, or shouldn't do. You sit here and say emotions don't belong on the battlefield like it's a fucking switch you can flip- well it's not, and it never will be," she snapped angrily, finding herself stepping closer to him.
"You don't get to say shit like that after what happened back then. I found out that a man I once loved wasn't even the man I thought I knew, and I don't know how long someone else had control over him, or if he was ever himself in the time I knew him. So dammit, Kaze, I get to have some emotions about that. I get to have emotions about everything that led up to that mess, I get to be angry as hell at Gaudium for causing it all in the first place, and at you for trying to make me stay there!"
How could he not understand? Why couldn't he just understand how she felt, why she was so angry then, and even now? Why couldn't he just stop acting like he didn't give a damn?
"I'm not blaming anyone else for my actions, Kaze. You think I don't know I went too far? Do you think I don't know the mess I made back then? What, do you think I just brought myself back through the portal and left everything as it was like I was on a stroll?"
The nerve he had to accuse her of seeking to place blame... As if she hadn't already taken accountability for what happened.
"Firstly, you don't get to fire a weapon that you had pointed in my face, and then act like there was any real choice there. You wouldn't have done it if you thought I wouldn't listen when you did that. Secondly, I tried making sure Ai and Yu were safe, but things got hectic and complicated before I could really get to them, and it was out of my control. And lastly, when I finally could come back to Wonderland, I made sure to try and close the portal. So don't you dare act like I'm ignorant, or like I'm passing off blame."
Lisa wasn't even sure if he was still listening to her ranting at this point, but she was gonna make sure it at least heard it.
"You want to talk about ignorance and you even have the nerve to ask me what my fucking purpose is, but you can't even admit that you weren't giving me a choice, and you know that. And I'll be damned if I sit here and let you act like it."
She wasn't sure when she had gotten close to him, but she had, looking up at him, her expression laced with anger at his so few words. Anger that came from his actions and her own.
He could say so little, and make her say so much, and she wasn't sure who that said more about, or if it meant anything at all. All she knew was she was furious, and she wasn't going to put on some fake smile for him or anyone else anymore. After all, he was the one that got her to stop doing it previously. So why should she act like she wasn't feeling these things now? Did he really think she should've responded any other way to him?
"You don't get to stand there and act like I don't know what I'm doing. Or like I'm ignorant. Or too emotional. Or like I just push the blame onto someone else. I've dealt with too fucking much to hear some bullshit like that from you. Especially when I came to try and fucking help!"
She knew he didn't care how angry she was, hell, he may not even care what she was feeling, or why, or anything she was saying. But she had to at least say something now. Hell, if it had come up later, she'd imagine he would just shrug it off as she needed to say something sooner. Or maybe he just wanted her to keep her mouth shut. And if he didn't care what she was saying, well she didn't quite care if he would want her to be quite, or to not be as emotional as she was, or whatever it is he expects from her.
"Not a damn person in this building is some perfect soldier, not even you, and anyone worth something won't be, ever. So stop expecting me or anyone else to just cut their emotions off the second you think they need to.. Call it ignorance if you want to, but it doesn't make you right."

⋯✧・♪♫♪・✧⋯ He's staring at the ring on his hand as she explains what an 'engagement' is. He supposes that it similar to how they do things? There is an intention and an action and they have stated intent but have not performed the action. They would have soon. He knows they wouldn't have waited long. They'd been courting for what felt like a decade even if there were complications in the way that felt out of their control.
They've been bonded for even longer. Even through all these years, his heart has only ever belonged to one man. He knew he wanted Aqua Sielu from the moment he laid eyes on him. He can still remember the way he looked over the table to see right aqua eyes looking back his direction once Pilvi had asked if he was feeling better. He can remember the way he found himself getting pulled deep into the other musician's gaze and there was something between them that felt like a part of him that he didn't know existed calling out for the other.
Aqua... he has always belonged to Aqua, he just wanted the world to know that too. So this engagement she speaks of - he supposes it feels more like fate. He belonged to Aqua before they ever knew the other was there.
"I don't know." He starts trying to decide how to explain why he would say such a thing. It's just a dance isn't it? They have everything they need - except they didn't. His hand his raising to play the the ring on his finger as his gaze shifts back to his company as he continues.
"It was a dance but also a commitment ceremony. We called it 'mixing mist' because that's literal. We would mix our mist with each other to forge a pair of matching crystal gems called gems of commitment.
We would wear them hence forth as a show of our bond but it's not that simple. We would also need to ink required to perform the dance. The final motion of the dance is placing your hand over your bond's heart with ink on your palm. The ink will stain their skin and place your handprint on their chest for the rest of time."
He's sighing as he continues to play with the ring on his finger.
"With Misterica gone, I don't know if we could ever replicate that ink. The dance isn't complete without it. It's a nice thought though. I have him again and I don't want to be greedy and try to ask for more."
She thought for a moment about what he said. "Maybe engaged is the right word then? For humans, usually one person proposes the marriage, and then they go through an engagement. For some it's short, and sometimes there will be years before they ever have the actual wedding ceremony, and sometimes it depends on the couple's culture, or if they come from more than one culture," she explained.
"Regardless, having a dance as your ceremony sounds lovely... I'm sorry the two of you weren't able to do it when you wanted to," she said softly.
"Would you still be able to do it here, in Wonderland? Maybe not right now with everything going on, but maybe when things get better you could?" she suggested somewhat optimistically.
She kept a reassuring smile on her face, hoping she could at least give him the idea of something to look forward to in all of this going on, even if it was something far away, maybe it would still count for something?

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ She's been here for a while. Now who's avoiding the subject? She hasn't seen the kids in some time either and that makes them both terrible guardians. How will they handle the news of his situation? How close does Miss Lisa need to be to find him out?
Will Black Wind just tell her if and when they meet?
The Wind has always had an issue with being blunt. He's never had any form of class or gentleness and just says the first thing comes to mind. Even if that thing will do harm to the one who hears it. He's never quite known how to brace the impact on another's feelings. Including his own.
It was little more than frustrating.
So now he's dug himself a hole and he doesn't know what he's supposed to say to her. Anything to keep her off the subject of their current predicament with chaos because in all honesty they half did this to themselves.
Maybe if they'd accepted her help a year ago they wouldn't be in this fix. May e she could have done something much to Black Wind's dismay. The Wind was adamant that she would only get in the way but ... Would she? She's handled much since she met them and many of those things they themselves could not.
Like a normal conversation for starters.
That seemed to the the Soil Sage's weakness when it came to everything else in the universe. Defeated by the need to speak single word and a normal conversation was something the all desperately needed to have.
He knows he shouldn't talk about what's but from the sounds of things she's been here a while. A while, alone in Wonderland, seeing Chaos rise up again all around them and it makes him wonder if she's heard rumor along with seeing everything plunge back into darkness.
This land was... Part of the universe. Nearly it's vore if he had to wager a guess and yet if they truly killed Chaos what would happen to it? To the universe? To life as they know it? He's not willing to take the chance. He wonders if Black Wind is but he can't claim to know what goes on it in the recesses of that man's mind.
It's a war of greater proportions than any gun or blade could accomplish when the epitome of Soil and Mist itself were squaring off against each other. Black Wind only listens when he wants to.
"Ah I see." He comments as his head falls a little right along with his gaze. "I'm sure they're doing well. You've been back in Wonderland a while then? It sounds like to anyway. Have you had a chance to talk to Black Wind yet -?"
He's changing the subject. Damn.
She so badly wants to talk about the issue. It warrants a discussion, more than what they've said already... However, she also knows that he and Kaze are not ones to sway from their actions. Both seem to go all in. If he did not wish to discuss it further, she was willing to wager that she wouldn't get a word out of him if she pushed the issue.
Precautions? Him and Kaze, take precautions? Grown accustom she could see, but taking precautions wasn't quite in their track record. The closest they got that came to mind was trying to make her stay on Earth, and even that was done recklessly by Kaze...
"I'll trust you two can handle it, at least for now. But I am here now and have no intention of sitting back and watching if things start getting out of control," she informed him, leaving that the last say on the subject.
The children... It had been a while... The last she could remember seeing them was during the mess on Earth, before she destroyed the pillar... She couldn't think of a time after that that she had seen them. Granted she wasn't sure how they could've come to Wonderland once she got there. She was fairly certain she had succeeded in closing the portal...
Realizing she had gotten herself lost in thought she shook her head lightly, a sigh following the motion.
"No, I'm afraid I haven't seen them since I came back to Wonderland... I've been on my own trying to get back here... The last I saw of them was when everything happened on Earth," she told him.
She somewhat dreaded the inevitable conversation of her returning despite being told not to, but she honestly didn't see another way to go about things. There was no sense in staying on Earth, and the portal had to be closed somehow...
But come to think of it, she wasn't sure if she had succeeded. It had taken so much energy to do so, and she had passed out afterwards. When she had gotten up, it was a little difficult to remember fully if the portal had closed before she passed out...
Gods she hoped she succeeded.
"I do hope they're alright though... Now that you mention it, I guess I really can't help but worry about them..." It was true; she often found herself worrying about Ai and Yu, despite being fairly certain they were safe, or at the very least she hoped they were.

·:¨༺ ✩★✩ ༻¨:·. Suddenly his conversation with this woman has become all the more pressing than finding whatever book Pilvi told him to go find. He can find it later, but the way she speaks of him. 'The boy' she calls him, when he is clearly a man, and to translate his na- his face is wrinkling up in disgust ever so slightly behind his mask at the sound of it. Even if he doesn't mean it to do so.
"You speak of His Highness so informally." He sounds in a flat tone. "I can only assume you're friends then if you speak of our prince in such a manner."
He doesn't know if it's rude to correct her but to hear someone speak of his prince in such a way. It - rubs him wrong in way he can't quite place or describe. Even more so, if only because he doesn't know if Pilvi gave her permission to do so. The more he thinks about, none of these people seemed to refer to Pilvi by proper title.
He listens as she explains her world but it still leaves him standing there nodding along as his arms cross loosely over his chest.
"Ah I see - never mind the book for now. Tell me more of how you know His Highness. Where did 'Kumo' come from? Did he tell you to call him that? Why do you translate his name? That's rude, you know. Or did he not tell you that? How close are you if you're translating his name? And he's not a boy you know. I know his face is deceiving but he's well into his thirties now. You shouldn't speak of him like a child."
He's shifting his weight from one side to the other. Kaze is what they're calling the Windarian but they're translating his name too and it all seems so off putting. Even if he doesn't care for the Windarian as the prince does that doesn't mean he would do something so rude as translate Szél's name and the Windarians didn't feel the same about their names as they did but that doesn't change the fact of how rude it was.
Respecting someone's mother tongue is the least they can do to show they care for someone.
"By all rights, Pilvi is our King. So speaking of him so ... informally just feels so off putting. Did he not tell you all of his status?"
He's sighing as he shifting from one side to the other talking with his hands in small motions.
"Forgive me for this, but I helped raise that boy and only people I see with the rights to speak of him so casually are people that did so, or in other words. His Binds. How much of our culture has he failed to explain?" There's a half groaned sigh. "Are you really friends with him? Everyone here acts so strangely around him, and I feel like there is information I'm missing, and that doesn't set right with me."
Her eyes widen when she realizes all the rambling she was doing, worrying she had just dropped entirely too much information onto him.
"No, no, I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking- I got a little ahead of myself. Kaze means Black Wind. He's the tall one, with the Magun? And Kumo is White Cloud, the boy with the Maken," she stated.
When he explained how recently they arrived, she nodded, sighing softly. "Sorry for getting so ahead of myself, then, I don't know what got into me if I'm honest," she said, a soft, nervous laugh escaping her as she spoke, looking down among the books she had pulled.
"I'm going to assume Earth is something unfamiliar as well... It's the planet, the world I'm from. More specifically, I'm from a country- or I suppose empire- called 'Russia," she explained, sighing a bit. She hated saying she was from there. It was true, of course, but it didn't make it feel better to say.
Regardless, she looked up at him, smiling again, "Anyways, do you think any of these could be what you want? We could always keep looking, but I'm not sure where else a book like that would be in here," she told him. "I can help you look into these few here, if you'd like," she offered.
