Kielder is a former boss of a now defunct historical raider gang responsible for terrorizing the state of Connecticut after the fall of the bombs. The gang was initially formed in 2077 by the prison inmates of a correctional institution, and said building operated as the main base of operations for the gang until the summer of 2282, when it burned to rubble. The circumstances surrounding the collapse of the gang remain mysterious.

Also known as “Blazing Strife”, Kielder is the last descendant of the original boss. His past identity often catches up with him and he has been (rightly) exiled from several communities. Honesty has wrecked most of his attempts at settling down. He currently resides in the Commonwealth and makes a living as an armourer.

one of the things i find intensely fascinating about national parks (in the uk) is that you can only get to most of them by car

In seriousness though, this is a fascinating insight into how ‘English’ and ‘British’ is synonymous even within the UK.

Is this how Q expected things to go? Perhaps he would have seen this coming from behind a screen, but not in this neck of the woods, and surely not in the dark of them.

While catboats bob with their sails folded like bat wings on a froth of black lake, Kylo presses a blade to Q's jaw. The flesh gives away easily, like fish belly. Just a nick. Surely, the Ren won't reject a few pearls of blood. The house is quiet.

Kylo tips Q's head back, holding his eyes to the scant light like marbles and holding his gaze with the same meticulous vise of his grip, where leather fingers crush and silence an impudent pink mush.

"You will be."

with last reblog I'm curious now, brits whose schools had houses what were yours? I was in Kielder and then St David after we moved (both primary schools) and they were both the houses that always did worst lol

Ok so if you are on the MCDBB discord server you may be vaguely aware that I was on holiday the other week and decided to relate every place I visited to MCD / Aphverse somehow.

Here are those locations and explanations:

Alwnick Gardens and Castle

To me these form the Ro'Meave estate. I didn't go to the castle but saw it from outside. I did visit the gardens though which are home to the Poison Garden which may or may not have formed a large part of the reason I'm imagining this as part of the Ro'Meave estate because poison is very Ro'Meave.

Kielder Forest

This is the largest forest in England and was planted from scratch by hand around a century ago. This struck me as being similar to the Sacred Forest which was hand planted by Hyria and Irene. It is a national park and nature reserve which is something that the Sacred Forest might have evolved into by the time of MyStreet. I'm imagining Hyria retiring and surrendering protection of the forest to a conservation authority.

Cragside

Originally concieved as a modest fishing lodge the 19th century country house was extended in several phases and became the holiday home of Newcastle based engineer William Armstrong. He was later given the title of Baron Armstrong and became the first engineer to sit in the house of lords. The house was the first in the world to be powered by hydroelectricity and included a hydroelectric elevator, dishwasher and lights. William Armstrong was a bit of a 'mad scientist' type. This has the honour of being the only MyStreet location on the list as I see it as the Emerald Secret lodge. Perhaps owned by an ancestor of Chad's before being bought by the Lycans and Ro'Meaves?

Lindisfarne

Lindisfarne aka holy island is Phoenix Alliance island. It was once home to an Anglo Saxon Priory, which no longer remains but the ruins of the 12th century priory that got rebuilt on the ruins of the original can still be seen and look remarkably similar to the Phoenix Island ruins. It also has a Tudor fort turned 20th century holiday mansion and a small village. To top it off it is a tidal island accessible by causeway at low tide so you can drive to it when the tide is right giving easy(ish) access to the mainland.

Particularly enjoyed paddle boarding. My favourite paddle board was the one in front.

Favourite toys. Blue bucket lid. A little cuddly rabbit who used to sing jingle bells. Any good stick.

Loved agility, particularly jumping over things or through hoops and other obstacles.

Best friend Marley.

Brother Wynter and houseguest Bruce.

Loved going to the beach and having an ice cream.

Enjoyed standing at the gate and barking just in case.

Ran lots of miles

Went camping

Climbed mountains

Security detail at the Nemco office.

Once stayed in the sky den in Kielder, the treehouse with the opening roof. (George Clarkson amazing spaces)

Liked riding in the tractor.

Have one of the fields on the farm named after me. (Harry’s field)

Loved late night walks around the farm and singing to a wind up musical plane.

One in a million. Sorely missed. Loved eternally.
