I found myself slowly beginning to come back to consciousness. My body is burning with life but my mind is confused and uncooperative. Slowly, I begin to regain my bearings. My eyes twitched as my surroundings became more clear. The room was spinning as I rubbed my eyes hard. No. I wasn’t in a room. I’m in a car. The room isn’t spinning, but moving fast across a flat road.
My head lolled to the side as I found myself awkwardly placed on the seat. My legs were placed up on something soft, while the rest of my body was slumped against the door.
I blinked a few more times, the bright light felt blinding to me.
“You’re awake.” I jumped at the voice, still feeling slightly disoriented.
My head snapped to the sound of the cool voice, earning a groan from me in the process. My eyes immediately adjusted, seeing Chrollo seated beside me. His gaze was directed forward, not even looking at me.
“I trust you slept well, as you were curled up to me like a kitten.” This time, Chrollo tilted his head ever so slightly in my direction, a tiny smile pulled at his lips. His eyes were focused down on the seat that we both sat upon, drifting up and down for a moment.
My brows furrowed at him in anger while my eyes drifted down towards his lap, where my bare legs laid on top of his own. Bare. My eyes snapped open and I shoved myself up in the seat, sliding my legs off his in the process. A bright blush formed at my cheeks when I realized I was still only wearing my underwear and t-shirt, which was bunched up at my hips. He was eyeing me up. My hands fumbled with the hem of the shirt as I pulled it down as much as the fabric would allow.
“Ironic, considering your reaction last night was to try and kill me.” Chrollo chided, his head fully turned towards me now, his eyes shifted back towards my lower half. I tugged the shirt down further at his gaze, earning a slight chuckle from him.
I pressed my body up against the side of the door, putting as much distance as I could between him and I. In such a small space and nowhere to go, I felt suffocated by his presence. A tingle of discomfort spread across my body and knotted up in my throat.
“Lucky for you, I was unsuccessful.” I hissed.
Chrollo chuckled again, his attention turning away from me again.
Silence filled the car as I glanced out the window, not wanting to communicate with him. My eyes watched as we passed down the streets of York New. I had no idea where we were going, and I frankly did not want to know right now. My mind only thought of one thing; to escape.
I had been stupid to think I could’ve evaded him forever. I knew deep down in my gut that I never stood a chance, but my brain refused to acknowledge it. Still, even in my current situation, all I could think of was getting as far away from him as possible. Irrational thoughts started to pour into my mind, even going as far as wanting to strangle him with the seatbelt.
I was desperate, but not that desperate. A physical fight would surely end up in his favor, as I didn’t stand a chance against him in that regard. My eyes drifted to the front seat, but I could not see who was driving the car we were in. I knew it had to be someone close to Chrollo, so calling for help would be futile.
My head rested against the cool glass, watching as we passed several cars on the road. My eyes widened for a moment, a thought popping into my head. Mind you, not a smart one.
I glanced towards Chrollo, who was looking out the window. His hands splayed across his lap as he paid no attention to me. My hand slowly lifted up towards the handle of the door, pulling at it slowly as I continued to eye him.
The handle extended as far as it could but the door refused to open. I frowned, pushing against the door a little harder. It refused to budge. Panic set in and I pulled on the handle harder now, slamming my body against it.
“Child locks.” Chrollo said without even glancing at me. “I’m surprised you’d even consider jumping out of a moving car just to get away from me. You never cease to amuse me.”
I gritted my teeth in anger, placing my hand back down onto my lap. “Where are you taking me?” I demanded, my hands clenched up in tight-white knuckled fists.
“Home.” He answered.
My head turned back towards him. His legs were spread open casually, a book now held in his large hands. I hadn’t even noticed him taking out his book. His head tilted to the side as he flipped through the pages casually. He was just like I remembered him. Calm to the end.
“You took me from my home.” I spat back.
Another flip of the page in his book. “I would hardly classify that as a home. Besides, you would’ve moved to a new place within a few months. Isn’t that right?” His hands lowered the book down onto his lap as he looked over at me.
My mouth dropped open, watching him with a wide eyed expression. “I-”
“How many places have you called home before you fled soon after? What was it? Four? Five?” Chrollo taunted me.
He knew all along. My body slumped against the seat, my eyes staring blankly at my hands. The blood flushed from my face, my jaw slacked in surprise. Soft, labored breaths escaped my parted lips.
Chrollo wasn’t finished though. “I will admit, it was quite the hassle to find you, at first. All you did was run, trying to delay the inevitable. You must’ve known that I would’ve found you sooner or later.” During my daze, I had not realized how close Chrollo had gotten to me. His breath hit the shell of my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.
The blood rushed to my ears, the deafening sound of my heart beat overtaking my senses.
I remained frozen in my seat, petrified to even move a muscle. My head swayed again at his words, sending me into a spiral of panic. I swallowed the saliva that pooled in my mouth, struggling to keep the nerves under control.
Chrollo’s body was now shifted beside me, taking up the entirety of the middle seat as he leaned towards me. I felt his leg brush against my bare one, purposely rubbing against the side of my thigh. I felt a jolt of heat from where he had pressed himself, a soft gasp escaping from my lips in return.
“I decided to let you play your little game for a while. It was quite amusing.” Chrollo teased, enjoying every small reaction that he pulled from me. His head was dipped down beside mine, whispering into my ear.
I let out a shaky sigh. “Why didn’t you just come get me as soon as you knew where I was?” I finally asked, breathless.
He remained silent for a moment, brushing a strand of hair that had fallen in front of my eyes.
“Like I said, it was amusing.” Chrollo pulled his mouth away from my ear, but remained planted beside me.
I turned to face him, mustering enough courage to do so. His body was relaxed casually against the seat, his legs parted open, brushing against my bare ones. I scowled as his eyes rested upon my face, watching me closely.
“Of course you would find the pain of others amusing to you.” I bit back, the anger in my body returning at his enjoyment at my expense. I was livid.
“I haven’t hurt you, have I?” Chrollo’s attention was back on me, his head tilted ever so slightly to the side in mock consideration. “If you are referring to last night, I only used force because of the actions you decided to act upon.” There was a hint of a smile at his lips, but nothing else.
I scoffed at his words.
“I can’t believe you.” I shook my head in disbelief, pulling my head away from him. I could no longer look at this man without wanting to strangle him.
My attention focused on the outside world. There was only a few inches of glass and plastic separating us, but right now it felt impossible to ever reach. The pain this sole man has caused me was enough for a thousand lifetimes. It cut me deep and left a nasty scar that refused to heal up, no matter how much I tried. I fought tooth and nail to get away from him, and it nearly cost me my life. And it proved to be fruitless as I found myself to be back in his grasp, struggling and trying to claw my way out of it. I was in the exact same position I was in a few months ago, trapped.
I gritted my teeth in silent anger. I refuse. I refuse to be a toy for him to play with when he is bored. I refuse to sit here and accept the fate that wasn’t chosen for me, but instead forced upon me. I refuse.
“I refuse.” I said, my thoughts speaking out for me. My eyes still rested upon the window, staring blankly at the freedom of the outside world I so desperately craved.
“You refuse?”
“I’ll never be stupid enough to love you again. I’ll never stop fighting to get away from you. I’ll-.” I paused, unable to find any more words to say. My voice was void of any emotions, turning slowly to look over at him.
I was arguing like a child, I knew that. The smirk on his face told me everything I needed to know. I was trapped. I knew it and so did he. I wanted to lash out, to scream, to fight, to do something, but I was drained.
“I don’t see how you have a choice in the matter. You have nobody left that cares about you, isn’t that right?” When hearing Chrollo’s deep cutting words, I snapped. He knew the power that his words held over me at this time, and he used it to his advantage.
My breathing hitched as I blinked slowly, my eyes watering up at his words. Before I could stop myself, I spat at him. Chrollo barely flinched as my spit hit his cheek, his eyes closed slowly and he let out a deep puff of air. Instinctively, I flinched back, twisting my body so that my back was pressed against the door.
My breathing raced, causing my chest to rise and fall quickly. My actions were not wise, but since when were they ever? I swallowed hard, my eyes never leaving Chrollo’s face. His brows were pulled together in mild anger, his lips pulled down into a slight frown as he brought his hand up, wiping away my act of defiance.
When his eyes reopened, they were focused on me. They seemed to have darkened, if that was even possible. I further pressed myself into the door, watching in fear as Chrollo adjusted himself on the seat. I stared back at him with a look of complete fear, melting myself as far back as possibly.
“Have you completely forgotten about what I said about not doing things you are going to regret?” Chrollo’s voice was laced with anger, his lips pulling back into a deep frown and his brows furrowing.
He continued to advance upon me, despite how close we were, he was taking his sweet time. I knew he was trying to elicit more fear into me. My heart fluttered against my ribcage and I swallowed hard.
I had not realized that the vehicle had stopped moving, either due to fear or complete negligence. I immediately perked up when I felt the car stop moving, my attention turned towards the front seat.
“We’re here, Boss.” The man who was driving finally spoke.
As if Chrollo wasn’t nearly on top of me, he retracted himself. His hands smooth over his jacket, buttoning up the top of his dress shirt, and fixing his pants. I watched him, a mere two seconds ago he was ready to kill me, and now he was fixing his suit with a small smile. I let out a deep breath of air, shutting my eyes in the process. Bad move.
“Don’t get too excited, I’m not finished with you yet.” There’s no emotion behind his words, only a slight threat present.
I keep my eyes glued to the window.“Where are we?” I asked, shifting back down on the seat.
The nerves had settled slightly, allowing me to calm myself back down. I knew it was only a matter of time that they returned, but I needed to be level headed in this situation. If we were somewhere with people around, I could possibly signal for help.
My eyes brightened at the thought and I glanced out the window. Chrollo must’ve sensed my unease because he exited the car without another word. The door slammed closed and he went around to my side.
I flinched away as the passenger door opened, he greeted me with a sharp stare.
My eyes focused on behind him, noticing a tall standing building just a few meters away from us. My gaze locked onto the large amounts of people that were crowding the street. Crowds are good. Crowds can help.
“Don’t talk to anyone. Don’t look at anyone. Don’t run. Nobody can help you and nobody will.” He instructed, holding open the door for me. My attention turned back towards him, his eyes locking down onto my frame.
My mouth parted in surprise, glancing down at my legs. “I’m not wearing any pants, Chrollo. Do you expect me to go wherever you have planned without them?” I inquired, tilting my head to the side as I looked up at him.
A quick flash of annoyance crossed his features and he nudged his head towards the other side of the car. I followed his gaze, my eyes landing on my backpack sitting on the floor that I had not noticed before. I held back a small smile, I had always kept a small knife in there with me for protection. It was a slim chance, but maybe he didn’t search through it.
“There should be enough stuff in there that you find sufficient.” I leaned over and grabbed my bag, unzipping it and reaching inside. My eyes frantically searched for it, trying to be as discreet as I could. “What you’re looking for has been removed, I won’t take any more chances of you coming at me with a knife.” His voice chided and I gritted my teeth in anger.
I found what I needed, pulling out a pair of my sweatpants. My gaze shifted over to Chrollo.“Do you mind?”
Chrollo gave me one last look over before slamming the door back closed. I jerked back slightly, scowling in response. I eagerly slipped on the pants, barely getting them past my ass before the door opened again.
“What the hell?” I shielded my body from his view, pulling up the pants even more.
“I can still see you.” Chrollo gestured to the window and I blushed angrily.
“I would have thought you had the decency to turn your back.” I hissed, glaring up at him.
There was a brief second where I caught a smirk on his lips, but it was quickly replaced by a frown. He didn’t give me a response, his face stoic. His hand extended out for me, encouraging me to get out of the car, but I didn’t particularly want to. I glanced down at his extended palm, debating on what to do. At my unresponsiveness, Chrollo pushed his hand closer to me, watching me with a blank stare.
“Let’s go.” His voice encouraged my unwilling body. Slowly and cautiously, I placed my hand on his palm, which he enveloped greedily. My body followed my feet, exiting the vehicle carefully.
My eyes scanned around the streets, eagerly wanting to make eye contact with at least one person. Much to my luck, nobody paid me any attention. Their eyes were either directed in front of them, or on their phones. I scowled at this, but refused to give in.
Chrollo’s hand found my lower back, guiding me beside him and through the large doors. My body jumped slightly at his touch. Usually I would have found this gesture to be sweet and endearing, but not this time. His goal was to remind me that he was right beside me and not to act out, surely I would know that by now.
“Remember what I said.” He reprimanded as he caught on to my game.
He guided us through the sea of people that grouped together in the lobby and towards the elevators. I had barely enough time to process the beauty of the downstairs lobby. The ceilings were encased in gold detailing, the floors were marble, and there was a restaurant directly beside the desk.
I would have let my eyes wander longer, but Chrollo’s hand found my back again, tugging my body closer to his as I began to trail behind. My hip collided with his side, my mouth parting in surprise at the sudden contact. To any onlookers that passed us by, we looked as if we were a normal couple. Chrollo going so far to even wrap his arm fully around my waist, a gesture I had not felt in months by him. It made me feel uncomfortable. If only these people knew that he was really the leader of the Phantom Troupe, their warm smiles directed at us would’ve been wiped clean from their faces.
We entered the elevator, the doors closing simultaneously behind us. Chrollo’s hand was no longer attached to my hip, and I backed away from him, placing myself on the opposite side of the small space.
My arms crossed over myself protectively and I huffed.
“Why are we here?” I wasn’t stupid enough to think this is where we would be staying here indefinitely, I knew he wasn’t like that. Chrollo was constantly on the move, never staying in places for too long.
“I have a few things here that require my attention.” His answer was simple, leaving much to the imagination.
The elevator dinged and opened up, Chrollo guided me once again down an endless hallway. I followed closely behind him, keeping my gaze focused on the carpeted floor.
I couldn’t help the anxious thoughts that crossed through my brain. I was starting to believe that I was never going to leave this place, and I was going to be stuck in this hell for the rest of my life. The further we walked down the hall, the further my freedom got. I knew this was the irrational side of my thinking, the side I tried to fight with daily. Part of me really wanted to believe that I was going to escape, but was there even a chance of getting away from him? Alive?
I snapped out of my daze when Chrollo suddenly stopped, causing me to almost lose my footing and fall flat on my face. His focus was turned towards a large white door, which he opened with little resistance.
The room was elegant, just like the lobby, but less flashy. There was a large king bed in the middle of the room, two nightstands, a dresser with a large flat screen television, and a door leading to the bathroom. My eyes quickly took in the sheer beauty of out, glimmering with amazement.
Chrollo stepped behind me, I turned my head to watch as he shut the heavy door, locking it a moment later.
I was trapped in a gilded cage.

Pro-Palestinian Turds Don't Wave Luffy's Flag If You Shitheads Are Also Going To Ignore Shit Like This
Tumblr media
A month or two ago you selectively oblivious asshats had the nerve to put up the Strawhat flag as if the Strawhats without question would support the Palestinian side. You guys wanted to make it seem like this was a black and white situation where the Palesintian side were complete angels while the Israeli side were one dimensional oppressive villains.
Tumblr media
Here is one of the victims who cam home. She came back mute and traumatized from the experience of being kidnapped after you shitheads tried to downplay the atrocities that Hamas did and tried to make it seem like Israel was the oppressor and needed to ceasefire. Her reaction after being kidnapped reminds me too much of a scene from One Piece and it involves another little girl who was also traumatized from a horrible situation of being kidnapped and abused.
youtube
You people want to say Free Palestine, but what are you doing in the name of that so-called liberation which is shown to include hurting children who probably did nothing you consider wrong. And in other words, maybe just maybe the Palestinian side isn't the side Luffy would go with because despite you hypocritical shitheads saying that Israel does collective punishment that's been a feature of the Palestinian side and more. I currently don't see anyone comforting this girl after what she did or outright ignore her and say her pain means nothing compared to a Palestinian child because I know and have seen you dumbasses downplay their drama because you have a narrow minded view of what privilege and oppression is. In other words, you people have no right to put up the Strawhat Jolly Roger because you guys aren't the good guys, so stfu.
