One look at the screen and he felt like all the blood left his body. He couldn’t breathe for a second. Remus allowed panic to take over for exactly 30 seconds, closed his eyes and started giving orders.

“Dorcas locate Peter immediately. Marlene, dispatch the twins and Benjy to the safe house and call Moody for backup, he and Dumbledore have started this mess. I'm on my way out right now. Keep me in the loop I'm keeping my earpiece on.”

He was answered with “Yes, boss” as he jumped into his car. Dorcas and Marlenes voices were still in his ear when he dialed Sirius’ number cursing everything he knew that he never gave him an earpiece. It would make this so much easier.

“Hi, Remus. Missed me already?” Cheerful voice answered the phone. “I thought you'll be away…”

“Sirius. They found you. They are on their way to the flat.” Remus heard the breathing on the other end pick up in speed. “I need you to use your ‘surgeon box for emotions’ and do as I tell you. Can you understand?” The only sound that came to him was panicked breathing. “Sirius, please. Baby I need you to hear me.” Remus tried again. “I'm coming to you as fast as I can but for now I need you to keep you safe. You promised me a date after this mess is over and I know you keep your word. Please take a deep breath and come back to me.” It was really not good, they didn’t have time. He needed Sirius to hide. And where the fuck was Peter?!

“Remus?” Quiet voice said, sounding almost nothing like the beautiful, deep baritone he was used to. “Tell me what to do” 

“Ok, Baby. Grab a butter knife from the kitchen and go to the bathroom but don’t go inside. Just close the door from the outside and use the knife to turn the lock from the outside. Then drop it outside and run to hide in your entry hall wardrobe. Stay on the line as long as possible, I'll be here with you all the time.” Remus heard running, doors closing and than click of the wardrobe door sliding close. “Are you safe Sirius?” He asked in a whisper, and little humm answered him. 

“Remus, there are five of them going into the building right now.” Oh no. “But I located Peter, he is just outside the flat, the problem is I can’t get him on coms, I'll keep trying” Dorcas gave an update.

“Sirius, Baby, Peter is just outside, stay where you are but he is there and he will keep you safe.” 

“I wanted us to go to Italy for our date” Remus heard a whisper “And I know it's too early, and you are technically my employee, and I'm about to be grabbed by my insane family but I don’t know if I ever get another chance…”

“You will Sirius! Do not use past tense! I'm coming to you! We'll do all you want and more!” 

“Remus, I know how they work. One Peter will not stop them. Please just find me. Whatever happens please just don’t let them keep me. Even if I'm not me anymore, please”

“Remus I just lost eyes on the safehouse” Dorcas was shouting in his ear.

“Sirius, stay as quiet as possible, do not let them find you” 

There was a sound of shouting, of door being pulled open then quiet “I love you Remus, find me” and then silence.

I have an idea for a longer fic about bodyguard Remus and Sirius needing saving, we'll see how it goes 😉

SMILE 2 x TRAP (2024)

Summary: Joel is now free after successfully breaking the curse but what happens when he realizes he’s not alone?

He stumbled over towards the door fighting back tears until a voice made him look up alarmed seeing approaching men all getting out of their vehicles.

“Yo, who the fuck is that?” One said, and in an instant Joel retreats back in the house, stepping into the house slamming the door locking it, drawing a sharp breath, shaking his head in an attempt to escape the gnawing guilt until a noise erupts from the door.

“Shit.” Joel whispers, holding his shoulder as rushing up the staircase for a place to hide.

“Fuck, Alexie and Yev are fucking dead.” One of them whines as the other two pace around the house. “Find the motherfucker,”

He’s pacing around quietly with the blood of three people on his hands, nervously shoving his bloodied hands in his pockets as he’s gnawing on his bloodied lip nervously pleading for a way out.

It’s been six days and he wants this to end.

He’s shaking badly now, hearing massive footfalls from the men followed by their muffled grunts after discovering the three bodies.

Joel leans against the wall, hearing rapid footsteps going up the stairs, and Joel grabs a object as one of them opens the door, and Joel charged and swung the crowbar at the man with everything he had, sending the dealer flying back against something sharp. “He’s over here!” Yelled the dealer, and Joel swung again before sprinting out and into another unfinished room.

He didn’t hesitate to lock the door behind him. The other two sprinted up the stairs trying to get to Joel. One shrieked, sensing Joel’s plan. But the others were already too deep in their plan to break the door down.

“Come out you piece of shit!” They growled through gritted teeth.

Joel stands back, watching in distress, hesitating as he grabbed a jagged piece of metal from a broken object and lunged the moment the door was ripped open. He hurled an object at the man with all his strength necessary.

Screams filled the unfinished house. Broken only by the sound of Joel’s frantic breathing as one criminal lunged to Joel.

“It’s over you piece of shit,” he said, his tone carried a note of a threat.

Joel exhaled, picking up another object until the man lunged forward, toppling Joel over.

Before anyone could respond, a sudden burst of a noise engulfed the room, smoke filled the room.

Joel tries to shield his eyes, coughing as he attempts to turn away, limbs feeling heavy, as though submerged. His thoughts abruptly slowed, his erratic breathing sounded muffled.

The feeling gradually continued until Joel’s eyelids grew heavy and he fell forward.

Suddenly the lucky becomes unlucky.

When consciousness returns for Joel, he shifted, groaning as he lifted a hand to his head.

“Fuck. . .” He muttered, his voice groggy but sharp with irritation until his eyes landed upon a figure standing in front of him.

He shot Joel a look, letting out a low breath, his jaw set in a dark smile but it was no smile like an entity smile. “Sleep well?” He said, his voice low and calm, and certain as he’s checking his watch.

Joel’s eyes narrowed at the man in confusion, he’s no longer in that house nor is he bleeding out. “Where am I?” He muttered, voice still groggy.

The man leaned forward, “Well I found you on the snow,” he said. “You were unconscious so I figured I’d save you.” He says, his eyes flicking towards his phone and back at his new hostage.

Joel rubbed his temples, his expression suddenly becoming more aware of the new surroundings landing on the deranged man.

Hm. I don't think I know any movies where the president is kidnapped besides that one with Morgan Freeman? Please do tell me more.

I really like... movies with that "the world is ending" feeling, but like specifically during the chaos. I love zombie apocalypse, alien, earth collapsing type deals, you know? I'm stopping now before I go crazy.

Under the guise of free trips to a private resort they have, the four heirs lure people in to visit so they can have their choice or bride

They take their time to choose and more often than not the visiting women vacation, they stay for a few days and leave without incident, until the right women come along and aren’t allowed to leave
