MONKEY KING PLUSHIE DONE!!!

I finally finished the accesories (minus a peach that i decided to make after i finished everything, i'll post a picture once its done) and im so happy with the result, it looks so cute!!

We got the Ruyi Jingu Bang

The golden circlet (It looks better on the plushie)

The tiger skin skirt, that looks absolutelly adorable!!! (I learned how to stitch a button because of this :D)

And the gourd, inspired by the Trailblazer Gourd from Black Myth Wukong

Put it all toguether, plus a cotton Nimbus Cloud for the picture, and voila! Sun Wukong comes to life!

Sunny kept flopping down before, but now she can stand up because of the skirt :D It was very fun to make and i learned new things too

I love it so much!!!

I've been seeing some ppl talk abt this and now I'm curious. Do you think children's content has gotten more "mindless" or detrimental since you were a kid?

In the options, "have experience with children" means things such as having younger siblings or children of your own, being a teacher, etc., and for this poll I'm defining "children's content" as content made for or targeted towards preteens and younger. Although I'm specifically thinking about TV and YouTube, all children's content is applicable (IE books, movies, games, etc).

(To be clear this is mostly just for my curiosity, not out of a "argh kids these days/back in my day/modern content is shit" type of thing /gen). As always, feel free to add infinite nuance and personal experience in the notes, and reblog for a bigger sample size if you feel so inclined :D

A little doll in a bag, for a small girl birthday present

Tunisian crochet is always a delight.

All done in cotton.

First a simple rectangle, than adding a strap, closing and sewing a nice lining, and finishing with a flower. Absolutely relaxing, 10/10 will do it again. Turquoise and white maybe...

The doll on the other hand,...

Ended all right but what a pain to chochet 🫠 I'm no good with small hooks and sewing the hair was very frustrating.

It's cute thoug. Now hoping the birthdaygirl will enjoy 🎆.
