Honestly, there isn't much to say other than I really wanted more details from his life! We know he was a hero but I wanna know how he got the power from hermit Shinomori, or how he met En (who's his own glaring question mark).

But I can tell yall are catching onto my enjoyment of loud, goofy himbos because Banjo is so fun! He feels a lot more emotionally open and sweet compared to the other vestiges and the way he supports Izuku like a fun but caring ghost uncle is adorable. I feel like blackwhip being tied to your emotional state says a lot about how he values being honest with your own feelings. I believe in you Banjo, protect our boy in this last fight! 🙏

random name lore??

randomly remembered that my name has some lore behind it, and @kickbutts-singsongs idk if you were interested but i have everything written out here lol.

So my name, which I don’t rly want to state outright, but you might be able to figure it out, comes with some interesting little stories.

My mom, and two of my aunts (technically a few more but mainly these specific two) had a grandmother they all adored. My great grandmother. I’ll call her Em. Grandma Em was, according to many stories, an amazing woman and would frequently spend all her money on her grandkids and once buried a whole stack of plates that my mom broke to hide the evidence from her parents. She unfortunately died when my mom was around 9, but my mom and several aunts wanted to preserve her name. So they made an arrangement. Whoever had the first daughter, got to name her Em (*my name). You can guess pretty easily who won that competition. It’s even funnier to think that my aunts in this agreement to this day, have only sons. No daughters. My mom has three daughters.

Grandma Em, herself, came with some fascinating stories as well. My mom often recounted the big story of how my grandmother was captured by the German nazis during wwii and put into a concentration camp. She was in there for a few months and the only reason she was still alive afterwards was because a farmer was looking for Ukrainian milking girls to milk his cows (that were… taken from what was Ukraine in the Soviet Union) because the cows were panicking at his unfamiliar German words I guess. There she worked in much better conditions until the end of the war, in which she had to walk all the way back to her home. When she got there, there was some time that went by and she became Christian. Her husband, who was away at the time (she was pregnant also), was informed by his family to not come back to her because… well she became Christian. So she lived a pretty hard life trying to survive the ussr while single with a child. my mom loved recounting every memory she had of her grandmother. I wish I could’ve met her :(

(kinda reminded me of the time my mom told me about my OTHER grandmother who told her about the time a nazi soldier cried over her as a child because he missed his daughter…)

4. Not really lore but it was an interesting fact. My middle name is Lana, after my mom. And so I found out that my first name sorta means darkness. Or it has connotations/some root word that means darkness. And my middle name means light. (My mom was born with a name thay meant light, expected to be a light haired child but she ended up having very very dark brown hair). So im a walking contradiction lol.

yeahhh thats kinda a lot. Idrk if anyone would read all the way this far. I js kinda figured it might be interesting? It’s always fun to pull out in various games or conversations :)
